The technician was really nice but the quality of manicure wasn’t good. You can even see the bubbles in the picture. I’m not a professional but when I do my own nails, the results are much better which is just disappointing. They didn’t use a base coat, you can see the visible nail line, and the result is just not clean.At the checkout when they asked if everything was good, I told them that I wasn’t happy with the quality of the manicure, and they just proceeded to ask if I wanted a membership!! So I don’t think customer satisfaction is important to them either. It’s a shame cause I really wanted to like this place.

Well the first appointment went great, and I received a beautiful manicure from Larissa. It was so nice in fact that I decided to shell out $149 for a monthly unlimited membership. I scheduled an appointment to get my nails done before my sister-in-law’s wedding this coming weekend, and get a call that the artist is no longer there and they have nobody to replace her. They couldn’t even reschedule me for another time before the wedding that worked with my schedule. I can’t take off work to go get my nails done. So because they can’t handle unexpected changes to their business, I am now going to have to shell out more money to another salon and lose the money I spent in anticipation for future appointments at this salon. I am so incredibly upset and disappointed. It sucks, because I thought the nail artists are nice and talented, but the business is unreliable. If they can’t follow through, and you have a membership, you’ll be paying for it twice.So in conclusion, go here if you have no set schedule and do NOT buy a membership.UPDATE: They were willing to reimburse a prorated amount of my membership.

Fyi: whatever $10 off deal thats still floating around the web for this location isnt being honored. Keeping in mind theres is $10 also nonmembership fee, this place is pretty pricey. I ended up paying ~$75 in total for dip nails ( after the receptionist told me they were phasing out the $10 off...). Having said that, it was one of the best manicures Ive gotten in Madison/ Middleton. My technician did an amazing job! My nails were much healthier even after the dip was taken off. I think if I was going to do nails regularly, I probably wouldnt make this the regular spot due to cost, but an occasional treat for a very special occasion. Also, update your website to skip the false advertising!

Beware of pricing! The prices you see online or in the app are for “members” only. However they do not disclose this to you until you see the charge on your credit card. Was there for an express pedicure priced at $30. Asked to add 20% gratuity and charge card I had on file. Received email that stated I was charged $40. Called and questioned it and was told as a “nonmember” the price was $40. And the gratuity? What happened to that? The staff there are rude as well. Unfriendly and you have to wait a long time once you arrive until they are ready for your service. Will never return.

Louise was excellent and did a wonderful job on my pedicure. She was very easy to talk to and she provided an excellent service. I will be going back.

I have been here twice. Both times I have been very impressed with this place. It’s soo clean for a nail salon, which is important to me always but especially during Covid. My skin is very sensitive and a lot of times technicians at other salons rip my skin when filing and make me bleed (this is something that I hate). This has not happened to me at Prose, when I tell them my skin is sensitive they actually seem to listen. Ty did my pedicure today and he did a FANTASTIC job and he gave the best massage ever!! I highly recommend, and to anyone that enjoys a relaxing massage with their pedi... ask for Ty! You won’t regret it ❤️

Prose does a great job making you feel pampered! You always get a friendly greeting, help picking out polish colors, a warm neck wrap, and they clean your rings while getting your service done. I have always been extremely satisfied.

I would definitely recommend Prose. I had a gel pedicure from Kesha, and she did an excellent job. I’m very picky about nail salons and their cleanliness, and Prose is top notch in their safety and sanitation. The space is beautiful and very clean. My feet look and feel amazing. Price was very good too. I’ll definitely go back.

This is the worst service I have had anywhere. I have a gift card and will never go back to use it. The first time I was there they left me sitting with my feet in the water for an hour. The 2nd time I booked an appointment and then after I had been soaking 5 mins someone came over and told me they didnt have time for the service I booked.

I just had my first service here! Everything was clean, professional and my nails look amazing. I told them I was getting my nails done for my engagement shoot tomorrow and they even cleaned my ring!Aside from all of that, every single employee is fun, gregarious and just a joy. Will definitely be coming back and bring friends!

I had a wonderful experience at PROSE Madison West! The boutique is extremely clean and I greatly appreciate the safety measures they have in place. The service is top notch. I felt my comfort and safety was a top priority the minute I walked in the door. Additionally the nail technicians are fantastic; I love my manicure and pedicure. Best place to be a Nail tech, if cleanliness is important to you!

I went here for tips and a gel pedicure - a almost 3 hour service, which cost ~$140/credits with the membership. This is my second visit, this first was amazing - my pedi was perfect, so I purchased the membership. This time I was really disappointed. My tips/fingers are subpar. The paint/dip and shape are uneven. I asked for a design and was denied, then told that I needed to show a picture at the time of making my appointment to ensure the artist was capable.. this has never happened to me before. The design was snowflakes on a few nails, and the only reason I went to get my nails done for Christmas. My finger was cut twice with the file. The pedicure is okay, not great. And for the price I paid, I expected better. I cancelled my membership. I recommend Kelly’s nails in Fitchburg. They fixed my nails and gave me the design free of charge.

The salon is adorable. Clean, good energy and nice lighting. Glad I came west to check it out.Marit was my nail tech and did a next to perfect job on my pedicure. Will definitely come back to see her again.

My friend and I had sharita and märit and they were both so lovely. Super accommodating and kind. They worked past close to make sure we both could get in at the same time and did a phenomenal job. The front desk was also very helpful and it did not go unnoticed.The space is gorgeous and very clean. I loved that they made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable in uncomfortable times. The music was very upbeat and fun. Truly a great experience. All in all it’s a great place and I would (and will) recommend to everyone I know.

It was my first time at Prose and overall I was satisfied with my experience! The salon was very clean and the staff were very friendly. My nail technician did a great job with my pedicure and was very personable. My only complaint was at the end of my visit the gal from the front desk came over and tried to sell me on a membership. I politely declined several times and she was very persistent and it made me slightly uncomfortable. Even with that, I would still recommend.

I made an appointment for 12:00pm at Prose. I was 5 minutes late to my appointment and they refused to do my nails even though several nail technicians were not doing anything. They were unfriendly and rude and claimed they couldn’t remove my acrylic nails. Most salons ask what services are needed when an appointment is made. . I hate to think it is because I am a person of color. Very unprofessional!
