Jet Ski Madison,Can someone please help us resolve our charge from a weather cancelation from this summer? Bradford Anderson posted the most recent review after trying to work with you over the summer in rescheduling. When no one would help get us a new date booked and we were just told to re-book online, we just didnt feel comfortable putting our credit card in again since we have already been charged. We have the entire email chain for reference if needed but we were never helped to reschedule this. I know this isnt intentional and you guys are probably just busy but it is over $500 dollars. Perhaps a policy change needs to happen for next summer with a coupon code or something, just an idea since it appears we are not the only people who has experienced this. Please consider refunding the full amount so we can close this matter out. It seems best for all parties at this point. Thank you for your time in looking into this.Katie

This is our second time here and it was great just like last time. We used to rent in Lake Geneva but they would follow us around the lake and we were only allowed to go so far on the jet skis. Here, you can do the whole lake and they dont babysit you. Plus, my 18 year old is allowed to ride his own. The people that work here are so friendly and customer oriented. Jake was super helpful and got us on the water quickly. The equipment is top notch and is in excellent condition. Can’t wait to come back.

If you are faced with a weather cancellation, staff is unhelpful and incredibly unprofessional. I booked a reservation almost three months ago, they still have my money and I have nothing to show for it.After Jet Ski Madison understandably canceled my reservation due to poor weather conditions, I emailed their customer service with a new reservation date and time as it outlined in the cancellation email. Jet Ski Madison responded telling me I needed to rebook (which requires paying for another reservation). When I asked for clarification on this process, their response was condescending and unhelpful.Not feeling comfortable, I expressed my concern about charging my card a second time and ultimately ended up asking for a refund since I would not be using their services. From then on, they stopped answering all emails.While this company appears to return a fair level of satisfaction from customers under ideal circumstances, you will find that their ability to handle customers in all scenarios is surprisingly poor. I highly suggest reading through all reviews on more than just Google to see for yourself; you will find that Jet Ski Madison has done this on a number of occasions.

We rented both a pontoon boat and a jet ski for four hours. What a wonderful experience from start to finish! Kyle and his team handled everything! We just arrived at the dock. A fantastic carefree day! Great teaching on how to use the water crafts for our novices. Fantastic value for the money!! Memories we will have forever! Thanks!!! Thank you Jet Ski Madison for an incredible day! I rented a pontoon boat for my husband’s birthday, and everything turned out perfect! The boat was clean and easy to operate, but what stood out for me was the customer service. Damon was our go-to guy. He walked us through all of the specifics about the pontoon, all of the safety guidelines, and was patient with us when we asked questions. We actually got out in the lake and turned the motor off to jump in the water. When we tried to start it up again, it wouldn’t. I called Damon, and he jumped on a jet ski, got to the boat, and started it up for us ( turns out, we had it in neutral- so it wouldn’t start- who knew?) But the entire time, he had a smile on his face, and was so nice about it all. What a great employee you have! All in all, it was a great experience. Don’t go anywhere else to rent your pontoon. I’ll definitely do it again!

We rented a pontoon boat for four hours with some of my wife’s family. The owner was very helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. We had a great time and it was a great experience. The boat performed perfectly and was a breeze to operate. I hope I get back to Madison to do it again.

I rented two wave runners at their Lake Wisconsin Watersports location online over the summer. I was cancelled via email the morning of the rental due to bad weather and was told to respond to the cancellation email to reschedule. I have emailed this company and called multiple times with voicemails. To date, I have not received any response back. I paid the couple hundred bucks for a rental that I never received! Im not asking for a refund. I would just like to use the rental that I already paid for!

We rented a large pontoon for our family to enjoy on July 4th, the weekend of our wedding. Damon delivered our boat to the Olbrich Park launch. Damon did an excellent job showing us the features of the boat and how to use them. I was very impressed at how responsible and skilled Damon was at maneuvering the boat and SUV at the dock all by himself. In comparison, we--middle aged adults--had challenges docking such a large boat at a busy dock. We had an excellent experience.

Jet Ski Madison is a wonderful company and I highly recommend using them for pontoon and jet ski rentals. They have great customer service and will go above and beyond to be sure they do the right thing by their clients. We rented a pontoon for a full day, had some technical issues, and they upgraded us to their awesome luxury pontoon. If you can get this boat, do it, it’s awesome! Their dock location is also great so much easier to get in and out from the Warner Park dock than their competition down the lake. I’ll be renting jet skis from them later this week and am looking forward to another experience with them.

Rented with them twice in one summer. Both times there were problems- some things they could control, some things they couldnt control. But both times they provided really good customer service to compensate. Website/reservation isnt clear on who needs to get boater certification.

We had a great experience with this company. Damen called the morning of our reservation to confirm our arrival time and was waiting for us when we arrived. He went over the safe operation of the jet skis in great detail and was very kind/professional. We had a wonderful time on the lake and Damen was waiting to pull the jet skis out of the water when we returned. Excellent service all around and we will definitely be back!

DO NOT Use if Traveling! (Please Read)TLDR: If you are just visiting Madison they will take advantage of you for $200-$800 if they can.I recently travelled to Madison Wisconsin to visit my girlfriend’s family. I thought it would be fun to JetSki while I was there, as I had only been when I was much younger. I booked an appointment with JetSki Madison because at first, it looked like a legitimate operation.I booked for a sunny day, however there was a forecasting error because 2 days later it was actually stormy, so they cancelled my appointment. I initially asked for a refund because I would be out of Wisconsin in two days, but you can only get a refund if you give 2 weeks notice (unrealistic for people on vacation who run into a similar issue.. so, very strange, but I understand nonetheless). Luckily I found a 2 hour time slot that worked right before I left. They cancelled day of (they did not send me an email I had to show up and call them, then they called me telling me they cancelled). Their general manager was extremely rude over the phone (I didn’t realize that actually was the manager at the time- I thought it was an employee who was just having a bad day), but that’s surprisingly not what this review is even about. I can deal with poor customer service.My only options from that point was either take a credit voucher (that I will never use as I live nowhere near Wisconsin) or re-book for 2 months later. The goal of that was so I could cancel and it would fall outside of their 2 weeks policy. This is true and they have no policy preventing this from happening. However, on top of their condescending attitudes they are very sneaky and make re-bookings from credit vouchers that they give you without your consent, making it impossible to refund.At the end of the day, their company lost nothing, inherited no risk, and distributed no service to me whatsoever and I am permanently out $200 and two $15 40 minute training courses because I wanted to use their service within a specific window that was initially agreed to by both parties and I was denied twice on their end.It’s not the end of the world, I’m just hoping to spread awareness to this issue to other people who might accidentally make the same mistake as me hoping for a fun time and potentially losing $200-$800 to the company. It’s the principle of the matter. And they have created a system where they can take advantage of people traveling and take zero responsibility. I understand the conditions I agreed to however they are malicious and the people there will use them maliciously to take from the public to make a quick buck. Just bad business, plain and simple.I highly recommend just using another more trustworthy company to avoid the drama, there are some nearby that have more competitive pricing and less shifty policies / employees regarding this understandable issue.Side-note: I have no issues with the employees- the one girl I talked with initially was very nice and I’m sure they’re great people, only the general manager, Kyle acted inappropriately during our communications.

My boyfriend and I had the best time on our JetSki for two hours, we had a bit of trouble finding where we were supposed to meet the JetSki, but Kyle was very prompt in answering his phone and helping guide us. Kyle hooked it up for us this past weekend. I came across an ad for Madison Jetski rental, went on the website and the next day I was on the water. They made it incredibly easy, you get on the Jetski in the parking lot they back you into the water and two hours later you bring it back with total freedom to go anywhere you want as long as its 200ft from shore and 100ft from other boats. I loved that there wasnt some crazy $1000 deposit on the card also. Zero complaints, only fun. This is how owning a boat or a jetski should be. Looking forward to booking with them again. Oh also my first mate was a little late getting to the dock and they were super flexible and understanding of that and still let us get our two hours in so thank you for that! There is a reason they are busy busy busy.

I have rented here three times now in I have never been rushed as mush as I was. The last time I was promised a credit in called multiple times to inquire about it and there was no answer I will never rent here agin

My sons and I rented two jet skis for 2 hours on Lake Mendota. Larry and his crew were great. Our first date had to be changed due to a funeral and Larry was very responsive, rescheduled with us without question. The day of the rental they called to make sure we knew where to meet. They were there waiting. They went over final paperwork and we were in the water in a matter of minutes. Great operation, lots of fun! Strongly recommend if you want to go jet skiing.

We had worked with Brady this past Saturday for our pontoon rental. He was super friendly and informative about how to navigate the pontoon. I was worried about docking coming back in but with his help and direction we docked perfectly. Our big group of 14 is definitely looking to book again.

My husband and I rented a jet ski to celebrate our anniversary and had a great experience with this company. Check in and a tutorial were pain free and although we got on the water a little later than scheduled, they pushed back our return time to make up for it. Two hours was more than enough time on the lake for us. I also noticed managements willingness to work with another couple who had traveled from out of state but had failed to complete their boater safety certifications. They spent extra time to work with them to ensure that they had the appropriate paperwork necessary to operate the jet skis when they could have easily turned them away. It felt like they really cared about their customers.

Kyle and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time! Thanks so much for your accommodation when the day could have otherwise been spoiled because one of the jet skis was not available. Hope to be back soon to enjoy Lake Mendota!

Great experience. Jet skis were in nice shape. The guy who brought the jet skis to the launch was on time and helpful. You get a temporary boaters license for the day, so if you don’t have one already it’s nothing to worry about. 10/10 would rent again.

Everyone was very nice. They made the experience a pleasurable one. Two of us had never been on a jet ski before. The Lake was just to choppy that day for my 10 year old. We had to come in after an hour. This was no fault of Jet Ski Madison of course.
