We used Capital Lake Pontoons for my sister’s bachelorette party. The boat was spotless with tons of room for us and our things. There was a large cooler with ice on the boat ready for us to use. I could hook my phone up to the boat’s speakers via Bluetooth to play music. We hired Brad to captain the boat and he was OUTSTANDING! He brought us all around - to a sandbar for a swim and a couple bars on the lake! It was clear that he knew the lake and how to navigate through the busy waters. Not only was he an excellent pontoon driver, but he was also incredibly nice and personable. It was such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend!

The boat was exactly as described, in very good condition. We were met at the appointed time. All of our questions were answered, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we would definitely rent from them again.

We have rented twice now and both times we have had a wonderful experience and Brad was super accommodating and helpful. The pontoon is newer and clean with a Bimini top. Sound system, cooler with ice as well as a lilly pad is included which makes for a super fun day!

What a fantastic experience -- I highly recommend Capital Lake Pontoons. I celebrated my bachelorette party in Madison and wanted to enjoy the Madison lakes on a hot Saturday in August, and Brad with Capital Lake Pontoons delivered the perfect day! The boat was gorgeous, roomy, and came with lots of amenities (lots of storage space, Bluetooth speaker, phone charger, huge cooler with ice). Brad was our Captain for the day and was professional, warm, and welcoming -- we had so much fun with him!! We even got him to wear one of our bachelorette sashes! The day was a great mix of boating around the lakes, stopping at a sandbar to swim, and stopping at a couple of bars on the lake (thank you to Brad for the suggestions!). I just cant say enough about how positive the experience was -- thank you, Brad, for being such a joy to work with!

We had an absolute blast! The pontoon came with a lilypad that we werent expecting so it was super fun using that to sit on top of the water. Brad was prompt upon arrival and departure and was extremely friendly. Would totally do this again next time were in Madison!

We rented from Capital Lake Pontoons for the 3rd year in a row and had another very positive experience. The boat was clean and ready for us before our launch time and they even offered to let us stay out an extra hour for no extra charge to watch the sunset. When it started raining they proactively called us and let us know where to dock and make sure everything was alright as well. I will be renting from them again any time we want to get out on the water!

We celebrated birthdays on a lovely private cruise, and it was a real treat. Booking early May left us with no other boats on the lake, which was a relaxing and fun experience. The boat comes decked out with just about everything youd need - bluetooth speaker, trash bags, cooler filled with ice, blankets, life vests, etc. The check-in process and departure was truly a breeze. Easy access to all of Lake Monona and great side trip (and directions from Brad) through the canals to explore Lake Waubesa. Evening rental gave us the opportunity to enjoy a great sunset over the Capital building/city.

Easy/simple/fun-without the hasslers of owning a pontoon!!!

My husband and I rented a Cap Lake Pontoon for an afternoon. We are not experienced boaters, so really appreciated Kris patient instruction. The boat was very clean and we loved the configuration. We had a wonderful afternoon and plan to rent this boar again for a whole day when we have family visiting. We will definitely use the float pad!!

We did the boat rental with the captain (Brad). No doubt one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on the water. Brad took us around the lake and connecting channels showing us the hot spots and interesting areas. We were able to enjoy a few adult beverages while on the water. No doubt we will come back

I rented a pontoon for my 30th birthday. The pontoon was very nice, clean, and the sun shade was AWESOME. Leading up to my reservation, I sent a couple emails asking for clarification on some things and my emails were provided a response very quickly. The captain was polite and very accommodating to our groups requests. The whole trip was so relaxing and fun! My friends and I had a great time!

Stayed at the Airbnb by the water with 4 kids. Rented the pontoon boat for whole day. I highly recommend having the boat all day. It made the trip/stay amazing. Pontoon boat arrived on time. Brad our instructor was very professional and answered every question before handing over the keys. The Boat was clean, well maintained, cooler was packed with ice and everything worked as described. The kids had a blast on the 20 foot floating Mat. Also did a lot of fishing and cruising. Will definitely book again in the near future.

The boat is in great condition, runs fantastic, is set up for a very nice time. The gentleman that met us to show the boat operation was very friendly and very helpful. Even the price, as compared to other pontoon rentals in the area, was a good deal. Theyve got great fuzzy blankets available if theres a chill in the air, the bimini is great if theres hot sun, plenty of room and a great boat layout (Ive seen some pontoons that seem a bit clunky). The large foam rollout pad was great for the kids to play King Of The Mountain on and the boat has anchors and a ladder to make it easy to get back on board if swimming. Everyone had a great time!

We highly recommend renting through Capital Lake Pontoons. The boat is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. So easy to meet at Law Park, jump on the boat and enjoy a gorgeous day from Lake Monona.

We had a fantastic time. The pontoon was well maintained and had some nice bonuses like: bluetooth radio, cooler with ice, and swimming float pad.It was also really nice to be able to rent it for a shorter time span than many places in the area for a reasonable price. Most places require a 4 hour rental for around 400 dollars but we only wanted to do a couple hour cruise around the lake.

My group rented the pontoon for all day forth of July (11am-8pm). The two workers we encountered were very professional, informative, and personable. Renting from Capital Lake Pontoons was a first-class experience. The reservation system is super easy. Great automatic email communication. The boat arrived to the dock on-time, was clean, comfortable and ready to go! We received a brief orientation and off we went. There were eight of us and the seating arrangements were perfect. Having lived all my life in Madison, and owned various boats, I was delighted to be able to take a small group out for a wonderful evening on the lakes and not have the hassle. At the end of the night, we just returned to the dock, where the owner was waiting for us. All we had to do was jump off, grab our gear, and head home. It was a beautiful experience and I cant recommend Capital Lake Pontoons enough. We are already planning our next trip!

The pontoon easily accommodated our group of eight and had room for three more. it was a wonderful experience and we are keen to do it again next year.

My family (5 adults, few little ones) hired Kristopher to take us on a half day boat ride. We had a lovely time. The online booking was super simple and we received automatic reminders for the booking. We also enjoyed that fuel was included in the price- made it easy to know the full amount ahead of time. Kristopher was laid back and took us to some really pretty areas on the lake. I will definitely book again the next time Im in Madison.

Capital Lake Pontoons gave me a great experience on all of the lakes Madison has to offer. We rented the boat for a whole Saturday and had a great time navigating between 3 different lakes and several nice shore stops. Their service was very friendly, their overview of the boat was incredibly quick but helpful. The boat itself was incredibly nice and clean and had lots of cool features like blue tooth speakers and a large floating mat. They even included bonuses we did not expect like phone chargers and a cooler with some drinks which was a nice surprise. I am already planning my next summer boating trip with them!

We had an awesome time renting a boat here. The boat itself was awesome. Big pontoon, super clean in great condition- felt like it was brand new! What’s more, the owners Kristopher and Julia were so helpful and accommodating- they even filled the cooler with ice for us! We have rented from some of the bigger companies before but found this to be so much friendlier and more flexible, with really reasonable rates and a better condition boat, so we will keep coming back here! We only had 5 people in our group but there was easily room for twice that or more. Can’t wait to get out there with our kids soon!

What a fun experience! We rented the pontoon for 8 adults for the entire day, and it was an absolute blast. Kristopher was very accommodating as we were a little later than expected with check-in. As soon as we arrived, he was there to greet us and help get us started. He had great suggestions of places along the lakes to stop at and routes to take. The boat itself was spotless and very spacious even for 8 people. The boat had music hookups, cup holders galore, and a full tank of gas. We couldnt have asked for more. For the price and exceptional experience, Ill definitely be renting again!

Excellent experience.There was no answer with my initial call and despite my not leaving a voicemail, but they called back within 10 minutes.The boat is great for tooling around on the lake. It came with every possible cord and cable to connect your devices to the audio system, which is a huge plus.They had a cooler with ice already on the boat, which is fantastic.They offered to help load and unload the boat.We only rented for part of the day, but they texted and said we could take it longer since they had no one else renting. Above and beyond!

Kris and Brad were great in setting up our day on the lake! We were a tad late to our check-in so they added the little bit to the end of our rental so we could use the full time. The boat was in great condition for us to use. Included cooler was really helpful as we brought a few coolers of our own but needed a tad more space. The float mat that was included was a huge hit and made our day even more relaxing. Definitely recommend Capital Lake Pontoons on days when the lock and dam is open (Thursday-Sunday). Plan for roughly 25-30 min to cross the canal from Monona to Mendota.Exceptional service! They gave us locations we could/should visit on the lake. Not to mention they helped us transport our food and drinks and day supplies from our cars to the boat.Thanks for a great day! 👍🏽Dominic

We had a great experience renting. We had 9 people in our group (ranging from age 3 to 90) and the boat was spacious and comfortable. We chose to hire Captain Kristopher and he was wonderful in taking us all around Lake Monona. Gorgeous sunset views of the capitol and Monona Terrace. Nice that gas is included - one less thing to worry about during and at the end of the ride. We will definitely rent again later this summer and hopefully try some fishing.
