They fixed my air conditioning for a fair price. They called a week or so after replacing my entire air conditioning to make sure it was still working. Its a great place to get your car fixed.

They did a very good job fixing up my boat trailer. Its also the only place I go for gas for my boat, jet ski, and truck. 5 stars.

I love this place. The best gas for small engine tools. I also fill my car up! Love that I can pump and pay after I fill up. I try to bring cash as there card reader takes money out of their hands. Most people are unaware of this. They still come out and fill your vehicle for you! I have never used this service. I am young and try to fill at the pumps furthest from the door. Ive been using Waynes for a couple years now to service our two cars. Every time it is a positive experience. Wayne and his staff are friendly, patient, and easy to communicate with. I have found him to be up front on pricing, and not push in the least. If there are repairs that he recommends (e.g. your tires are at end of life, you have a cracked belt), he will tell you if you really need it, or if it is something that you can safely postpone to save money. His wife even calls and sends a letter after you get service done to check up and make sure everything is satisfactory. Its a nice little family business, and I am glad to have found it. I also like to go there on occasion for their ethanol-free gas, especially for my snow blower.

I called to see if they could fix a fitting today and the lady went to check the schedule and she said no we cant - I thanked her for checking the schedule and she laughed and said thank you for checking? and laughed some more (in a snicker-y attitude way).. not sure what was so funny.. but definitely unprofessional and rude.The 2nd star is for before that comment happened. I was very appreciative that she checked to see if she could fit me in.

First time customer for an oil change, everyone was really friendly and the price was standard/ reasonable. They were honest about the level of attention needed for various components of my car, but didnt try to push unnecessary fixes. They were also flexible with drop off and pick up times, which made it easy to manage with my work schedule.

I would drive across state lines to fill up at Waynes station. Above and beyond is an understatement. The service I have received here was close to godly and I will be sure my children and my grandchildren, whenever they arrive, use his services. They really care about my business and my vehicle and after I had service done they checked in to see how everything was going, you just dont get that kind of service and attention these days. I purchased a $14,000 car that had a dead battery. So I bought a battery from Waynes Auto about 4 years ago. He said it was the correct one for my car. Im from Wisconsin where it gets cold. For the last 4 years, Ive had my car in the shop at least 6 times when I could afford it, and havent even been able to use the car much because it would just stop starting wherever I was. Auto techs kept saying the battery is holding a charge fine. FINALLY someone asked if the cranking amps were correct on the battery. I find out Waynes auto sold me a battery with almost 200 less cranking amps than I needed. This caused me so much trouble you dont even know the last 4 years. Any mechanic should know how important cranking amps are in a colder region. I assumed this guy knew which battery to sell me and didnt even think about it. If he knew and still sold it to me then hes a rip off. If he didnt know, then hes not a good mechanic.

Waynes Automotive is great! Highly recommended! Wayne is extremely knowledgeable, very reasonably priced, and everyone I interacted with was very nice. Wayne was able to troubleshoot and fix my cars issues quickly, he got me a great deal on the parts, and now everything runs perfectly. They even called to check on the car a few weeks later. Very nice local business, great service, great price. I will be going there for all future repairs.

Totally honest and great work at reasonable prices. Dealer said we needed brakes, Wayne said they’re good for another year. Only place I know to get ethanol-free gas in regular. All our vehicles get 10% less mileage on 10%-ethanol gas.I build engines and race cars but take all my street car work to Wayne’s.

Very nice staff, but I was a bit surprised when I was billed just shy of $60 for a standard oil change on a 94 Tracker. Im unsure if these are standard Madison rates or not since I usually change oil myself.Besides the higher than expected price, I liked this place. I was able to drop my vehicle off and pick it up the same day.

Only gas station in nearly any direction that you can get every type of gas with no ethanol, even the 87 octane. Its approximately $0.10 per gallon more than other gas stations, but your 10% higher gas mileage will make it worth it in the long run. I actually bring some extra gas cans with me to fill every time I fill up my cars gas tank. Also, very friendly staff, and it features a good repair garage as well.

The closest you can get to local for gasoline. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Gas is ethanol free but not priced to gouge like most others. Pay in cash to help them keep costs down. Hours have not been updated at Google, not really their fault but sucks to get there after hours...

Good staff and service! I went there to check my battery and the staff didn’t change my battery immediately like many other places would do, he checked it and suggested me to come back before winter as the battery is still working now, although not in a good condition.

I go here for filling gas to both of our cars and small engines. They have ethanol free gas and has great quality. I know it as i measure mileage for every tank. When i go to any other gas station (that has ethanol) i can see around 10% drop in the mileage. This place is good with friendly staff.

Get you lawnmower/snowblower/weedeater/boat gas here. No ethanol. These guys got robbed last summer. I was picking up gas, and wanted to grab a soda. I didnt even notice they were dusting for prints. There were twelve people in the gas station, who simultaneously yelled at me to not touch the cooler. Too late. The officer told me I was his number one suspect, he laughed. The next week, their sign out front read, Thanks MPD, you rock! That must of meant I was no longer a suspect.

Honest mechanics who try to be accommodating. Theyll tell you what needs doing now, what needs to be done layer, and sometimes theyll tell you to just go buy another car :- ) been going there over 15 years. Right near the 38 bus line too, in case you have to leave your car with them.

I recently had some major engine issues with my 06 Mercury Montego. I had taken my car to Waynes to have tires put on and oil changes before and really felt like I was dealing with honest people. So when this problem arose I decided to take my car back to them. I cant say thank you enough to Wayne and Adam for their exceptional expertise and customer service. They were so detailed and explained what they did every step of the way. Wayne runs an honest business, and when dealing with cars that is rare to find.If you are looking for someone who is going to be upfront and forthcoming with information and working hard to make sure he can give you the best price for the services required look no further then this shop.

UPDATE 2021:Due to the employee with glasses and always wears a hat I will be going to Schwinns gas station on Monona dr instead of Waynes. I have overlooked the prior 2 times he was rude...3 times...NONow it went from 4 and a half Stars to 2 stars.Love the non-ethanol 87 octane. Great place to get fuel, and one of very few that have regular with no ethanol!!!

Waynes Automotive is a locally owned gas and service station. I have always felt like I can trust Wayne to correctly fix my vehicle and charge a fair price. Wayne and Cathy should be proud of their business.

After being fed up with my dealer services I finally called Wayne after a strong recommendation from a friend. Unlike the dealer he actually asked questions about my car and my driving experience. While I was in the mindset that I needed to get a $1100 worth of repairs within the next couple days, for a couple minor issues, and it was just a matter of who he put my mind at ease and let me know for symptoms that would indicate the issue was something that needed to be attended to. He offered to get me in for a sanity check anyway. I have never had such a refreshing experience with a mechanic. I was ready to spend money and he let me feel like I didnt need to. Thats honesty. I dont think I will go anywhere else.

I was leaving the library next to Waynes this afternoon. As I got to the intersection next to Waynes I noticed an older man in a scooter trying to push himself across the road. He was incapable of walking, and was going along with one leg. I asked if he needed a hand and he said he was out of juice. He wanted me to push him two blocks. It seemed like a lot, so I asked how long it would take to charge his scooter, he said 10 minutes, that would be enough to get the two blocks. So, I pushed him into Waynes and I asked if he could charge his scooter (the man offered me money, and said hed pay them, but it never got that far). First they said they didnt have a speed charger. Not needing that, and sitting in front of an exterior outlet, I asked again. They said they were just getting around to scrubbing the floor and couldnt do it. At that time it was obvious that they didnt want to help. So, I got on my bike, and towed this guy two blocks because the guys at Waynes couldnt be bothered to help an elderly man who cant walk. Nice to know, because they wont get another cent of my money. I like to buy from my community, but when there isnt reciprocity, why should I?
