Steinman is good service that wont break the bank. The guys at the shop are honest and caring.

We definitely recommend this shop. We called them late afternoon on our way home from the Dells. They told us to come on in so we wouldn’t be stuck overnight. Diagnosed problem, called for part, stayed late to do it, didn’t gouge us on price. Excellent work and fair treatment.

11/10! Im an out of state car buyer that called them to do a pre-purchase inspection on a truck and couldnt be happier. I could tell they really took their time and gave it a thorough look. When they called they were super friendly and gave me specific information that was essential in making an informed decision.

Took my work van into John on a Tuesday and it was ready to go Wednesday morning. It turned out to be not as bad as I expected also! John was great at explaining the issue. I came to his shop on the recommendation of my brother, and, was glad I did.

I have been going to Steinman for two years now and I am so happy with his services. He takes great care of my car and always takes time to explain to me what is going on or what to watch or listen for. If their doing my oil change and notice that my brakes aren’t looking good than he will call me or let me know when I pickup the car that I only have about a month or two left on them. He has always been 100% honest with me. I have never felt taken advantage of or sold something that didn’t need to be replaced. I can’t say that for other places I’ve been. Sometimes as a women you feel that and his business is so honest. I won’t go anywhere else.

They worked on my coolant system and added hoses. I went to get an oil change at a different place yesterday and couldnt because the hoses they added are on top of the oil filter.Found out they didnt add anything but clamps, my wife had brougt it in when I was at work. They did the oil change right in front of me, no issues. I would recommend this place, they are very truthful and trusting!

Save yourself the time and just go work with Steinman Auto!We are out of towners looking to purchase a van from a local dealership. I called 6 mechanics and John, the owner, was by far the most helpful and informative. He was a great guy to have in our corner and checked over the whole vehicle with attention as if he was the one buying the vehicle. He offered great insight about what to negotiate and how to negotiate the final price. He also gave us numbers on what repairs we could expect in the near future.My only wish is that he lived closer or we lived closer because he is a dude that is passionate and honest about what he does and that is tough to find in the auto industry.You wont go wrong when working with John!

Tried to fix a relative of mines car several times, each time unable to fix it, quoted prices and then when it was discussed prior to any work being done, he reneiged and said no thats not the estimate he gave and it was substantially more expensive. Thank goodness they found a mechanic who was able to fix the problem with the car, and it wasnt even the problem Steinman Auto told them it was. Would not refer him to anyone!
