Had an appointment with Steve.I showed up, but he didnt...Was greeted and helped by a few other guys(fairly pleasant gentlemen).Was told my trade in had hail damage on the roof, which did not ( They didnt know I knew how to inspect for those things 😉) so wasnt gonna argue and we agreed to not go any further on the attempt to work anything out.So why the 1 star you may ask?Well as a professional you set an appointment you keep it no excuses,and straight up lying about damage on my vehicle that wasnt real shows a lack of Integrity.With 1.2 million views on my reviews Im sure this may or may not help someone out.
Typical car dealership poor communications. Waste of time .. If your privileged enough the general sales manager with his 25 years of experience, will blame the poor systems they use and try to push blame on to the customer because his sales people are too lazy to contact you about a car you were interested in.Which had sold the previous evening. Save your time and spend your money with a dealership with a higher rating.I guess the owner only responds to positive post. That should say alot about this dealership!!!
Excellent service department, but typical used car salesman that basically just read you the brochure. Do your own homework on possible purchases and take the vehicle to be inspected by a 3rd party prior to purchase as any prior damage isn’t usually disclosed. The pricier cars seem cared for but the cheaper ones are overpriced junk in my opinion. I wouldn’t personally buy from here, but mechanical and collision repair seems top-notch without trying to cut corners.
Drove 60 miles because this dealership had a car I was interested in. It was better than I expected and at good price so my wife and I bought it. Brian in sales treated us good. Dawn in finance was also good. I never write reviews, but this was a good experience.

We bought a vehicle from Gary Mauerman and Speedway Auto Mall in September 2020 and when handed the keys for the vehicle there was only 1 key fob. I said to Gary, Theres only 1 key? He said, Yes, but if you buy another one we can program it for you. Fast forward one month. I purchased an additional key fob and went to the dealership. Gary greeted me, I told him what I was there for and he directed me to the service center. They proceeded to tell me they couldnt do anything without a We Owe slip. I brought the issue to Gary and he proceeded to tell me that they dont do that there and he never told me they could. If that. If that were true then why did he direct me to the service center instead of just telling me they dont do that there. Its only $75 to get the key programmed, so thats not the issue for me. The problem is that the man gave me his word and then went back on it. I recommend anyone thats looking to purchase a vehicle to stay away from Speedway Auto Mall. Theyre dishonest and dont value their customers. Once you sign the papers youre nothing to them. Shame on you Gary and shame on Speedway Auto Mall!

My friend and I went here looking for a new (to him) car. The customer service was very good. They treated him good. The cars looked good and they were of good quality. They were newer and options and features were listed on the window of the car so you knew what was going to be in it. They gave the customer time to look and to discuss it with the person you are with. While I was there I did not feel pressured to purchase anything. One of the better used car dealerships I have ever been to.
I Didn’t like my service I didn’t like the way my inquiry was handled I went to a different car lot and i was able to get a newer car and was treated so muchhh better. I simply asked questions like what was my credit score at and Brian said he didn’t know any of that information. But the guy in the other car lot was able to tell me all that information... so I don’t understand what was the difference.?
Overall we enjoyed our experience and the friendly staff. Always do your own research before shopping, know your stuff before you go, and the buying experience can be quite easy. Cute dogs available on site. Again, good service and staff here, I’m satisfied. Would have given five stars if I felt like they went above and beyond. But again, overall, satisfied with the entire buying experience and all the staff we interacted with.

Might have test drove a SUV there earlier but then I noticed that there were scratches they didnt buff out and when I looked in the car you could tell it was used because they never cleaned it out. People want to drive nice clean cars and that turned me off to wanting to test drive it.
Went into looking for a car trying to get approved, had gotten told they were looking into ONLY 3 BANKS! Then found out my sisters and I credit scored had gone down somewhat a lot Just to notice we got credit checked by 12+ banks. Anderson is the way to go!!

The only vehicle I have had any problems with is the one car I did not buy from Speedway.It was purchased from a very well known and reputable dealer.We will be going back to Speedway before winter to replace.Speedway Steve and Brian most recently helped us with our latest purchase and they are amazing.

They dont have many cars. I was looking for trucks they only had three. The one I test drove when it was 90 degrees didnt have air conditioning. I dont think they look very hard in their shop for issues
Gary was our sales person and he was great! He worked with us and did most of the leg work on the upfront over the phone without any pressure! As someone with a very busy family this was so valuable to us. We got exactly what we were looking for with great financing. I also love the kids playground there, especially when getting into all the paperwork is was great to keep our little guy preoccupied. We also got a great trade in value on our other vehicle. I will be coming back when its time to trade in our next vehicle.

Russ, who I normally deal with in the body shop was going on vacation,so he made all the arrangements for me before he left,and left me in the kind and capable hands of John. J,R., the owner is one of the finest professionals I have had the pleasure of dealing with, and expects, and receives no less from his staff. I have purchased my last four cars at Speedway, and would not consider buying or servicing my car any where else. Always recommend them to friends.
I always get my oil changed at SpeedWay Auto Mall, they always get me in right away. Plus a great price, and great customer service. I’ve had other work done to my car, and that as well was done fast and they did it for a very reasonable price. I’ve also purchased 2 cars, and they have been very good cars. I would highly recommend buying a car or even having your car serviced at Speedway Auto Mall.

A family member recently purchased a car and had it for 5 weeks and both brake calipers failed. Speedway replaced one said the other was fine and as I was driving down the street it failed.went to the store wanted to trade the car back(owner told me he would give full car purchase back) to just show on the paper work he shorted 500 bucks.i cant believe it.i was so shocked in disappointment

I got a car from here about 2 years ago it was a 2015 and there was nothing wrong with it at the time but not to long ago we had to replace the whole Transmission. The interest, and price we had to pay for this car is unbelievable as well!! I definitely don’t recommend coming to this dealership ever!
I read the previous negative reviews - this place is where you go to get an inexpensive car. There could be a multitude of probems that come with an older or high mileage car.They had no issue letting me take a vehicle from their inventory to the local brand name dealership to inspect the vehicle.Pre-Purchase inspections cost MONEY - but you’ll know the issues off the bat and can make a better educated decision. Speedway also has a service department that can take care of all issues.Overall, I was satisfied in how I was treated and would recommend this place. However - if you don’t take your vehicle to get checked out, and the dealer says a car is being sold ‘AS-IS’, that is on YOU, not the dealership.Great customer service and experience. Waiting on quotes to get the truck running. Very good shape for being 20 years old!

The car I bought did not have floor mats, Speedway told me they would get me floor mats and call me, four months had passed, when I called Speedway they just promised to get me floor mats and now I see that the speedway is deceiving. No problem, Ill buy it, but I know 100 percent that I will never buy a Speedway car again in my life because they dont respect their customers.
Great car, BUT, disappointed in the post sale service. Picked up the car last night and it was not detailed (or even cleaned on the inside); floor mats, carpet, doors, and console are filthy, nothing was wiped down clean, doors had shoe marks from getting in and out of them, both key fobs indicate low battery, on the way home the check engine light came on. Fuel and other fluids not topped off. Most good dealerships will have this done prior to the customer picking up their new vehicle, especially when the dealership knew the vehicle was a purchase and had a down payment in hand. POOR customer service.
Save your time and money, go to Windsor Auto Sales.They tried to pull a bait and switch, used tired 1980s sales tactics and when they were called on their lie, the sales manager swore in front of my kids. Real class act.Went to Windsor, they had a similar car (recent auction of off-lease government vehicles so there were dozens at local dealers) with identical miles. They honored Speedways price and even paid less in tax. Threw in an oil change coupon and a year of roadside assistance. They were also very attentive to my kids needs. They have a customer for life. Speedway... not so much.
Went out looking for a car, and was on a budget. I am always very suspicious of car dealerships, having walked away from a deal in the past (with a different dealership), I was expecting the same run around. Jim Walters our salesman was EXCELLENT in helping us find a vehicle that suited our needs and in our budget. He told us everything up front and what would happen if we purchased the vehicle. He was a straight arrow when it came to it, even down to the financing. I have never had that happen before when buying a vehicle. Jeff in the finance department was wonderful and helped us every step of the way. We even had a good experience with the Service Department. No run around, and no back door financing. I would highly recommend going here to purchase a vehicle.

Our Car was totalled, Insurance settlement taking its time & we had to return our Rental. We explained what had happened & my Daughter was scheduled for Surgery & I was healing from the accident. This review way after my purchase but felt I needed to share. My purchase was supposed to include new back brakes. Well brakes giving me trouble so took my car to local mechanic and to my surprise brakes were orginal. So Speedway never replaced brakes.
Bought a vehicle, 6 months later need to use the warranty, call the dealer they say no, I dont have any of the items that need to be fixed on the warranty, go to the Ford dealer have to pay extra and yes things were covered by the warranty. call the owner of the company Jr tell me whats going on he said I should have called him first, I did Isaac told me no on everything. Issac calls back and says I should not have call the warranty company I should have gone through their service department. They dont give you the right equipment they hold your previous trades against you and he had the balls to tell me I should not have touched the vehicle. Because I turned on factory settings on a vehicle I own without having the right key to turn it on or off and they will not give me the right key so I have to pay $350 Isaac is a know-it-all Jr is a cheap guy no one wants to help you do not buy from here!
Bought a used car not too long ago and my experience with this auto dealer is bad, I notice the undercarriage of my car was badly damaged, they wouldnt replace it for me. Only one set of keys were given to me for the car, never seen anything like this from a dealer. Whenever I requested something that it should be done nicely before putting the car up on sale and it will come at a cost is what I keep getting, spend your money and time somewhere else.

My experience at Speedway went smoothly. Ryan Smith, an employee, came off much differently than other auto salesmen Ive encountered. He was honest and told me upfront if he did not know something about a car and would try his best to find it. Although there were a few errors in information about the warranty at first, he came back and got all the information straightened out. Throughout the entire process I was able to text him and ask questions about this car or that. Very helpful!
Ive bought 7 vehicles from them over the years. Large indoor show floor. If u buy a vehicle there and u bring it in for service, they give u a free loaner car till yours is repaired. Sometimes I hear Speedway Auto Mall gets a bad rap, the sales department can be less than courteous and questionable; however, the service department is top notch. Grant has always been honest and has never tried to do repairs I didnt need. I recently went to a place in Cherry Valley and was told I needed $2600 in repairs. Took it to Speedway, where I bought the car and have work done before, and its $476 in repairs. Thats a huge difference!!! Thanks Grant and your team.

1999 Toyota Corolla LE for $2000 was the advertised price. We called at 7:10 PM and Debi told us it was there. We arrived at 7:35 PM and Debi told it wasnt there.After we arrived, was told that one of the windows didnt roll up all the way. Nothing on the web site stated that.As long as were there, how about the 1996 Toyota Corolla for $3995. Three years older for almost twice as much?Bait and switch? You decide. I have.

He told me I was wasting my time because he does not donate to the community because if one person asks then he has to give to everyone. I will not support a company that does not donate in any way or give back to the community.
Very nice and laid back staff, my salesperson Brian answered my questions and looked up what he wasnt 100% on to make sure he gave me the correct answer. Brian didnt used high pressure sales tactics (the higher the pressure, the faster I walk away from the car lot), and was very helpful during the whole process. They offered me a fair price for my trade in, and there was a good viratey of reasonably priced, decent vehicles on the lot. The finance manager Ron explained everything and patiently answered all my questions, right down to the chashier (sorry, forgot her name!) who was friendly and very efficient. I would definitely go back and refer my family members to go see the crew at Speedway if they are looking for a vehicle.
Practically a huge waste of time. The salesman i first encountered was unprofessional, remarkably discourteous, and increasingly hostile until he was replaced by a different salesman. when we arrived we were informed the vehicle we had driven an hour to come see after scheduling an appointment had literally just be sold as we got there by the salesman we were scheduled to see. when i asked why he didnt inform us that he had an interested party before our appointment time he said he didnt have to because we didnt put any money down. i have been in the auto industry for 17 years and i have never experienced the lack of customer care i experienced today. he began to talk down to me and even got hostile when i asked to speak to a different salesman that might actually care about our time ( yes i know i probably could have worded that differently but hour in the car to be told it was a waste of time is a jolt to the nerves) he became aggressive and stormed off. The second (steve) sales man however was very helpful and courteous however was unable to help us as there were no other vehicles that fit the bill for what we needed in the price range ( hence the hour from home drive to find some thing rather specific)Would not recommend.
Came into dealership looking to buy a new car. Dealership had huge promotions “supposedly” going on and brought in outside sales reps (scam artists). Was promised over the weekend a beautiful SUV at the rate I could afford. After spending 10 hours in two days at the dealership go into Finance office only to be told every i was promised was a lie and my car payment would be 100.00 more a month than promised. Also promised a warranty was included in vehicle. Finance guy said no that was a lie and I would have to purchase that as well only to make my payments higher. My boyfriend was with me and he was promised the same that I was promised on a vehicle for himself, but we were both lied to. Left very upset and hurt. That was on a Saturday night after 10pm. Tuesday start getting texts from salesman Steve Shepherd that he is sorry and they have worked out deals for both me as well as my boyfriend and that he feels sorry for how poorly we were treated. Steve said that we would only work with the general manager and the finance guy. We would not have to talk to the sleazy (scammers) salesmen. Well gave them a second try and everything was going into agreement. Last night as my boyfriend and I were preparing to go to dealership to purchase vehicles get a text that the vehicle my boyfriend was to get has now been sold. So today which is Thursday I got a text in the am from Steve that he was going to find something for my boyfriend and asked when we could come in. I text back to say we would be in after work. No response ever received. Text Steve after work asking what was going on and should we come in. No response. I call Steve and he doesn’t pick up his phone, even though he gave us his cell number. Call dealership ask to speak to General Managet and I am told he is not taking calls. Ask to speak to Finance guy and he is busy. Worst ever experience!!! This company lacks everything a reputable company should have. They will never have my business nor the business of anyone that I share my experience with. I will report them to BBB and continue sharing my story through social media, radio stations and the newspaper. No human being should ever have to be treated in such a manner. I will giving my business to a dealership that is held in much higher standards.
Was looking at a car on their lot. Loved it except for a misfire. Salesman says he would have it taken into the service department and call me to let me know what was wrong with it. 2 weeks later i havent heard a thing. Never saw the car moved from the spot out front. Needless to say they have missed out on my sale.

I purchased a vehicle several years ago and that was a very bad experience. I put a deposit on a Grand Marquee. When I went back the next day, a different salesman sold it to someone else. Today I went there and found a car to purchase for my son. When we were negotiating the best price, the manager Bob and I had a disagreement with the final number for paying cash. The number between us and Bob was $300. Apparently, to sell a car, he must have the last possible dollar from customers. I feel bad for the salesman because he was very helpful and he should have gotten the sale.
DO NOT BUY A CALL FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. My son bought a used car in July and has had nothing but problems with it since. He had to buy a $165 part for a repair before he made his first car payment.Today his car wont even start. 250 point inspection ? Yeah right!! Now probably have to buy a new battery, hopefully thats all whats wrong with it. Its a good thing he has good friends who have helped him with the repairs. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!☠💩

As a repair shop i get more angry people coming from speed way auto. what do i do know? fact is the paper work is in there favor. in short your f----d but you can have the car checked out be for you SIGNING any thing the only reason a car sales Co. dont you to do so is it will prove to be not what they say it is. please take it to a reputable shop .it is much cheaper . trans 1500 -1800? motor 2000-5000? front end or brakes 300-3000 used cars 101. dont get screwed priceless

Just a great overall experience Steve Pfarr was a great salesman not pushy at all took me around looking at tons of vehicles till I got the right one. I had to get a key less entry key and the service guy Isaac was right on top of things and made sure to get ahold of me punctually to get that for me. Sara was in charge of the paperwork and made us feel like we were important customers the whole time. When I originally spoke with George about getting the key for the jeep he said he would get it taken care of and they did. The manager Ron was awesome giving tons of options for what I wanted to spend. Ive read previous reviews and of course some werent so good but it too could have just been the customer. Because I thought the whole experience was a positive and if you really need to get a vehicle than you really need to reach out to Speedway Automall!!
Horrible experience, they promise too much and never follow through. If you come in as an oblivious shopper. They WILL take advantage of you! Just bought a loaded 2015 Rogue. And the dealership couldnt even provide us with the Sd card that is needed to even view Maps/Nav. Since my dad doesnt know much about infotainment systems and all, I was the one speaking up for him (his son). And the service manager was continuously calling me kid only because he didnt feel the need to respond to my questions since he wanted us out as soon as possible, yet Im 21 years old. Once again, if you have no clue what car youre searching for. Check out more than just this dealership, they are shady and will say whatever just to get you to buy. Therefore; once you buy, you will be screwed.

Most regrettable buy of my life. Half the inventory here is overpriced by thousands of dollars and not maintained. The car still had garbage inside and missing panels all over the interior. Not even a month after purchasing it the engine gave out and I had to have the car impounded.
My husband got me the SUV I was in love with and they was very nice people on the sale floor and even tho we got there late the stayed to make sure I got to drive it omw that night! He was doing the fastest paperwork and everything to get us on our way! They want in a big hurry got themselves they still had things todo ! I got everything I need to have before I left the lot! And if you have the choice to get the warranty on the car its a must do I dont care if its a few grand ! It worth it ! Well it was for me! I got a extra 5 years on my SUV, very low miles and very nice and clean . Nothing wrong with it at all! I love my new ride my husband got me! O ya and they have is a very good deal on the car so what we saved on the car we was able to get the warranty for free and still got money Off! And i save the best info for last with my warranty has a $ 100 disparing deductible if i bring my SUV in to them to be servers and even if we are on a road trip and something goes wrong with anything I only pay $100 bucks to get it fixed ! I love it. Was worth every penny!
Definitely not the best place to buy a car
Ryan and Brian took great care of me and I a 2014 Chrysler town and country van to carry my newborn baby and family, I would recommend them for every vehicle to purchase
