First time using Massage Envy. Scheduled a 60 min massage online. Just received a call from their office requesting I either upgrade my massage to 90 minutes or reschedule. Awful service and did not even make it into the office.

Staff called on someone who works in the complex and messed with the persons job be cause they observed them vaping on their break as a they were walking across the street didnt know being petty harassing and threatening other peoples jobs over nothing was in your job description. Contacting corperate about this. Definitely warning folks to steer clear of this location.

I have been having a wonderful experience here. I have had a variety of therapists and are all professional and have dinner a great job. They are taking wonderful safety precautions.

Love the variety of services offered here! The prices are on the lower end for professional massages and facials. The front desk is always helpful and friendly. The massage therapists are professional and make me feel at ease. The estheticians Ive had are very knowledgeable, fun spirited, and make my skin feel exceedingly refreshed and glowing. This location has a good selection of providers that are well trained. There is also a large stock of varying products you can buy (I love getting a new candle or Spongelle bath sponge.) I have been coming here once a month (average) for 5 years and I dont want to go anywhere else.

Great Covid protocols in place. Very clean and relaxing environment.The ladies up front are quite helpful in scheduling you with massage therapists that they think will be a good fit, based on what youre looking for.

A great place to relax and get your muscles poked and prodded. They have a great COVID-19 check in procedure that makes you feel well taken care of.

My wife attends this location regularly and prefers it over the other locations. Myself I only ever wait here, and that experience is excellent. Their staff is nice and friendly and their waiting area is comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend waiting here for your significant other if needed.

This business discriminates against health care workers. After paying my dues through the entirety of the shut down from Covid-19 I scheduled a massage. Upon arriving I was refused service, ostensibly because I have treated patients who had been exposed to covid even though I was on full PPE gear. Needless to say I cancelled my membership via registered letter. Not only have I not received a refund but am STILL being charged. Would not recommend doing business with this company.

After being closed from March 2020 on I was still billed for massages I could not get. I asked for a refund and was told that they dont give refund and that I sign a contract. But since they were closed, it was not my fault that I could not receive the service I payed for and I should get a refund. I will never use them again

You can never reach them on the phone anymore, its truly ridiculous. No matter what hour of the day youre calling, it somehow always rings for a little bit and goes to voice mail. Id like to schedule with you guys, but maybe I should go elsewhere.

Service and receptionists are all professional about keeping everyone and themselves safe.

RESPONSE: I have been in contact with you via email and get the same sad, soft, non-specific and non-committal response. Your “deep concern” is a canned response and apparent that you clearly do not care. Again - skip this aggravation.I have been a member of Massage Envy for 10 years and have used these services in 6 different states. While the quality of massage therapy has been excellent, this location and ME locations within the Seattle market appear unable and/or unwilling to staff to an appropriate level per area demand, let alone retain talent. For a service which I prepay for, it has caused far more stress attempting to redeem and schedule, that the subsequent relief I get from medically-necessary physical therapy massage is dramatically dwarfed. The staff onsite means well but is clearly limited from either indifferent or incompetent leadership. Truly, deeply disappointing considering the line of service this business falls within.Skip it, this is simply not worth the aggravation.

Had a great experience here with my Mom in August, the environment is awesome a nice cozy, quiet, and dark space to sit and sip complementary water or tea 🍵 They also offer heat packs before massages, I thought that to be a wonderful idea. I only wish this could be my regular location but I enjoyed every moment of my visit!

I have been a member at ME for YEARS. I’ve visited different branches in many different states and I am sad to say my experience with the Alderwood branch of massage envy has been nothing short of a nightmare. After canceling on me 30min before a scheduled massage they weren’t even apologetic and the next time they canceled on me ( LESS THAN TWO WEEKS LATER) I wasn’t even notified until I went to check in for my massage! I decided to write this review today because I called YESTERDAY evening to cancel my massage I have scheduled for today and I wake up to a voicemail from Stephanie at ME saying they are going to charge me 50% for canceling “last minute”?!!!! This is absolutely bananas and backwards customer service! NOT a good representation for ME at all in my opinion. So disappointed.

Great place to get a massage! Nice atmosphere and great employees. If you prefer deep tissue massages, Leland will be your guy! He actually uses his elbows to dig in to your muscles (unlike the one guy I got once who only used his hands - left feeling the same as when I came in) and gets in deep. Pretty painful and leaves your muscles sore for a couple of days but you feel like a million bucks after!

Best sports massage Ive had. Bi did a great job with firm pressure to help alleviate my sciatica. I am now a regular!

CJ is the best masseuse Ive ever had. Im a big guy. I didnt expect her to be able to break through and make an impact. Boy, was I wrong. She truly made an impact. So much so that I signed up for a year

Been going here for years. As a chain the locations are very hit or miss, but this place is a gem. The front desk staff are always friendly and solutions oriented. Ive frozen, cancelled and flip flopped and everytime theyve been low pressure and very helpful. The therapists are also friendly and come in a variety of specialties.

Life savers. I have a work related injury. I have been going there for a long time now. Ask for james or Leland. They can work on any kind of muscle or tissue. I thank them for being so kind and listened to what kind of massage you need.

Each time I have gone to this Massage Envy I have been greeted with consummate professionalism, from the front desk agents to managers to the massage therapists themselves, all excellent.Loud shout-outs for two stellar employees: Antigone (Assistant Manager) who greets me each time with warmth and good cheer, and who makes my scheduling needs work with available appointments. And for my massage therapist, Melissa, who is, quite simply, the best therapist; period, end sentence.I seek help stretching rather than a simple kneading of my muscles; Melissa delivers that therapy, and then some. Her technique (for me) is a blend of different massage styles, but approximates a Thai massage. I leave limber, taller.I am very happy with all aspects of the massage therapy I receive here, from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave. And I have never experienced a problem with unanswered telephone calls. Hint: All appointments begin on the hour, so the front desk is very busy from 10-15 minutes prior to the hour to a few minutes after. Call just after (say, xx:10), and you are almost certain to speak with someone after the first ring.

Great experience with the staff and my massage! Horrible esthetician! I asked for a clean up on my brows and left with barely any brows at all! I hope this will stop anyone from getting their brows done here. I don’t wish this on anyone. I really wish I could remember her name! I am livid whenever I look at myself for trusting her to be competent enough to clean them up! I am just hopeful they grow back.Side note I also had to wait over 20 minutes after my scheduled time with her, but didn’t mind as my massage had me relaxed and front staff made sure I was comfortable.

Wednesday August 28th, How to lose a customerDisclaimer: I have been here before and I am in there system.Had an extremely stiff neck and back made an appointment in the morning online. I took a screen shot to make sure I went to the correct location ( Lynnwood, wa). Showed up in anticipation of feeling some relief after my massage but when I checked in this was there response “sorry it’s not in our system” are you kicking me!? I showed them my screen shot with no reply from the. Seriously what is the point of making an appointment if they can’t find it in there system. Great way to lose a customer!

I have had several massages over the years and my massage with Rebecca at massage envy was definitely the worst. How difficult is it to give a decent back massage? I don’t think her hands ever got warm. She constantly was sucking snot up her nose instead of taking a break to blow it. She went through the motions and didn’t seem to care. I don’t think she even massaged much. I give it one star because I couldn’t give a zero. Worst massage!

Great! I would refer someone to them. But depending on who you see and for what reason will effect your own experience there. Ive found them to be very helpful in helping you select a certain therapist when you explain your circumstances.

So from the initial call handled by an extremely polite front desk girl Andrea, I have been happy as heck. I was gifted a massage by my father, a bit hesitant to call due to not being particularly fond of people touching me, I first spoke with Andrea whom was right off the back as polite and courteous as they come, fast forward two days to my scheduled appointment, Andrea was at the front desk with a couple other very nice ladies, and her bubbly smile and positive attitude right off the bat made me feel extremely comfortable with this location. After leading me back to the waiting area she filled me up a glass of water and got me situated. Then at time for my massage, my massage therapist Dannica got me settled in and and relaxed and proceeded to take away every ounce of tension and knots I had. overall the massage was 100% better than I had even imagined, I felt comfortable and relaxed from the beginning, and even at the end Andrea checked on me to see how everything went. This location could not ask for a better staff. Thank you so much, I feel so much better I will be back very soon!

Horrible service and super rude. Front girl Jess said there was no appointment after making appointment online. Their website needs work many technical errors.

Its a bit pricier than hand&stone but I feel it is worth it. Great customer service, i feel pampered and relaxed every time i leave.

Had a bad massage here and to top it off, the customer service at the front desk was horrible! But I give them 5 stars because I called them the next day to complain, and the girl who answered the phone (Sarah) was so understanding and helpful, she set me up with another appointment with a massage therapist that she thought Id really like, and she was right!And when I came in for my massage Sarah was working and she sold me on a membership; I wasnt planning on signing up for one, but when she broke down the pricing and how much Id be saving, I couldnt believe how much money I couldve been saving all the other times I came in. Well done Sarah, you made a customer for life! (Oh and it didnt hurt that she was really cute too lol)

Not bad. Had massage. Definetly mainly focused on therapeutic as opposed to experience, hence 4 stars only but Darren was pretty good. Will come back

Therapist was good and informative but so very expensive unless you do the membership which for those of us who dont go frequently its way too much for a single massage.

I go to massage envy for skin care treatments. I LOVE my aestetician Lacey. I started with facials and then moved on to microderm infusions and chemical peels. Lacey is amazing at explaining everything she is doing before she applies the products. She is so personable and fun to chat with while getting any treatment. She also creates a relaxing atmosphere when doing facials (yes, Ive fallen asleep before). I have learned so much about skin care and what will work best for me thanks to Lacey. I havent been breaking out since I started getting treatments and my skin has never looked better!

Deep tissue massage is great - had a shoulder that hurt to move but after the massage I have full range of motion. Thanks, Jim.

Nice facility... Sometimes hard to book... But theyre clean and have good massage therapists.

I was highly disappointed for my one hour massage here. They have you fill out a form on a tablet that tells them what you want and dont want... not sure they even read what I wanted.. instead they worked on my hamstrings on both legs for over half my session. The thing is the one thing I wasnt looking for was leg work.. I made clear my back and shoulders were a huge problem and needed lots of work instead she spent about 5 minutes on my most troubled area. It was $60 wasted and I will not be going back there again.

STAY AWAY!!! Do NOT be scammed by their membership program! I purchased their plan and have not used it once in three months. They often cant accommodate same day or next day appointments and thats all the notice I have to give lately. So they are letting me out of my 12 month contract and keeping my money and forcing me to forfeit the appointments I havent been able to use. With my husband in and out of the hospital I havent been in controll of my schedule. I think this is a pretty screwed up way to run a business and treat a customer. If you dont purchase a plan, you are spending over $100 an appointment without accounting for tips. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
