We had them install a new electric stove top. They came when they said they would, called before arrival and worked swiftly and professionally. We have used them before to install a dishwasher. I keep their magnet on the fridge and know to call them whenever we need anything.Very professional company.

They knew immediately what the issue was that I was having. Unfortunately they had to order the part but as soon as it was in they scheduled to come back out and fix it. Works perfect now. Would definitely recommend. Very respectful employees and super friendly.

Philip did a great job and completed the repair in about 20 minutes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beware that the minimum repair fee is more than the $89 diagnostic fee. Expect to pay twice that for any repair.

Even though my washing machine couldn’t be fixed, he told me exactly what had happened to make it go out, how much the issue would cost me to be fixed (parts) and told me about a line of products that this company sells and about the services and great warranty’s on them as well. Phillip called 10 minutes out & was very professional. He helped remove my canisters from the top of the refrigerator so he could pull it out to replace the ice maker. & he helped me put them back. VERY professional & knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my concerns about the ice maker. Easy to pay & receive receipt via email. Phillip gets 8 stars.

Phillip went above and beyond to make sure our dishwasher was back in perfect working order. He was a joy to work with.

Office staff was courteous and promptly returned calls. Payment was requested by the Technician (Eric C) upon arrival prior to entering the residence and prior to service or assessment of appliance, (this was highly offensive to my wife, family, and myself). I called to pay diagnostic fee over the phone so that an assessment of the appliance could be initiated. Issue with GE gas oven identified and repaired in under 30 mins. An ignitor was “replaced and tested”. Though the part appeared to be new, a non OEM GE part was used to replace the defective part therefore the part had to be modified (wires spliced) in order for the part to be placed on the appliance. Further, the final charge was much more than expected totaling to $381.66 (including the $90 diagnostic fee) + taxes. When I requested an itemized statement both in writing and verbally, I was informed that they would not provide an itemized statement. I have yet to get an email response for the written request but expect that the answer is the same. Not sure if this cost is within normal range for the replacement of an ignitor, but it seems excessive especially considering the price of the OEM replacement part is available and ranged from $70-110 based on my research. If I have another appliance in need of repair, I will not use the service of Advanced Appliance Repair in Lufkin, owned by Eric Chaput

I called Monday March 29th to schedule an appointment for a broken refrigerator. I explained the refrigerator was not cooling but the compressor was turning on which indicates a gas leak. Five days later at their scheduled appointment the technician shows up and tells me my refrigerator isn’t cooling and that they will have to reschedule when someone can bring the equipment necessary to test the refrigerator for a gas leak. That will be $300. $89 to tell me my refrigerator was broken plus the fee to come back and check the refrigerator (maybe or maybe not with gas this time) in another weeks time.(Johnson Furniture was at my house filling my refrigerator with gas in less than one hour. )How does anyone show up for a job without the necessary tools to perform the job? THEN charge you $89 to tell you what you told them on the telephone 5 days earlier? THEN try to charge for a follow up appointment 6 days later?Fool me once. Nice racket you have going here.

We made the choice to buy a new one as there was only about $200 difference and this one was almost 12 years old and could have other things go wrong. Tech was super knowledgeable and extremely personable. Was a difficult repair of hidden element. Last tech that came wasn’t nearly as friendly and complained it was going to be difficult repair. Despite being a challenge the tech (I Believe Eric) evaluated issue and had great problem solving ability. He didn’t complain and was extremely conscientious and performed like a master repairman. I was truly impressed.

They made an appointment for me for Monday 3/23/2020. Due to the virus affecting everyone globally, they called to reschedule for 4/6/2020. I had made my deposit(which was half) and Liz was concerned for my family being without a washer. I expressed my concern as well and she immediately got Eric(the owner) out to my house. I have used Advance Appliance in the past and was pleased, but not this time. The technician charged for $225 for the installation of the cooktop. Once he put the new cooktop in, he said he couldnt hook it up without me calling an electrician and then calling him back. The electrician ended up doing it all for $128--Thanks Lone Star Electric! Despite this, I was still charged for full installation price for a 15 minute visit with no working cooktop when he left. Communication was poor with the technician. (Office staff were great.)
