Just some feedback I felt like there was a lot of standing around with vehicles in bay and customers waiting. One guy was standing next to car hood open but never saw him ever actually doing anything but on his phone the whole time talking to another employee. In my itemized receipt they stated that all my fluids were full but I never actually saw them physically check. I sit in my vehicle the whole time the receipt also stated that I declined the free interior vacuum that you guys offer but how can I decline something I was never offered or knew you guys even did. I do appreciate the oil change but just slightly disappointed in communication on what you guys offer.

Have been using this company for a few years now and always have a great experience. Very friendly and professional. They dont try to over sell or up sell products unless your car absolutely needs it. Oil Change, inspection, and a car wash in one place, saves me time which saves me money. They were amazing!! I came in for an oil change and for my windshield wipers to be replaced. I told them I had to be quick to go pick up my daughter. They were so fast and great service. Everyone worked with a smile too and you could tell they enjoyed working there! I will definitely continue using them.

This is the ONLY place in Lubbock for all my car needs! The service is incredibly fast and friendly. Even if you do have to wait, Grease Monkey does everything they can to make up for the long wait by offering you additional discounts and services. They truly value your time and they do not try to up-sell you. That being said, they still clearly explain all their service options, which are reasonably priced. I know its a cliché, but I genuinely feel like a valued customer at this establishment.

Wonderful place. Called about 40 minutes before close to make sure I could come in and the gentlemen on the phone said hed take me in at 6 if I had to. When I got there, they got me all figured out and I ended up talking to one of the owners while I was waiting and had one of the best conversations with a real down to earth guy. Quick service that was priced reasonably and the best customer service I’ve had in a while (so good I’d pay more).100/10 definitely recommend. Also, an employee named Dillion was super cool and super kind.

I have to say I was so impressed with this team! I came in for an oil change and state inspection. I was greeted with a friendly smile and no up sell. They came in and notified me of all the results of my inspection. Completed the oil change and I was paid and out the door within 30 minutes. They topped off the fluids, checked my tire pressure, vacuumed out my car and took extra car not to soil the interior.Id recommend this team all day long! Dealing with women in the office and no upselling was probably my favorite part. THANK YOU!!

We traveled from Houston to Lubbock in our 25ft RV and called every valvoline, every Midas, every jiffy lube and then some and none of those places would change our oil. Finally we called this Grease Monkey and they were able to change our oil that day. We were so relieved. The staff was friendly! H was very helpful and friendly. Kate had excellent customer service from helping us over the phone to sending us on our way after the oil change. I would definitely recommend this Grease Monkey to anyone. And I would visit here again.

Each one was competitive with other oil change stations. This place is new to the are if they want too they could expand in this area and overcome in the business from the one company that came into town (Take 5) and messing up people engine and they will not repair the engine... I love this place. Very friendly people there. I had an inspection done. The only thing was I asked if I needed an oil change & they didn’t answer me. When I checked out they said they forgot to check so I don’t know if I need one but I will go back there.

I had an unpleasant experience with a local tire shop and only wanted tires rotated. I called Grease Monkey and inquired about services. I was treated promptly by Mike and shared my frustration with the other tire shop. He assured me my tires were not worn out and they would be happy to take care of my needs. This is the only place I take my wifes Jeep to. The entire crew is awesome and friendly. We just got the differentials, oil, and trani fluids changed and the price was fair. They always offer to bring a drink while we wait in the car. They arent afraid to socialize and have fun while you wait. Will not be going anywhere else.

I started coming to here almost a year ago after I started having problems at what is now known as take5. But the important part is I live near idalou and I travel all the way across town just to get my oil changed here!

Only place I trust to take my show/race car for oil change. They are were all great and friendly in servicing my vehicle. Took care of it like it was there own.

Very prompt and courteous.Did not control oil drain and it ran all over underneath leaving me to believe there was a leak for 3 days. Took it back twice and the last time they cleaned excess oil better. Service was excellent and I will return. Just need to get that oil caught or controlled coming out the oil filter. Also had 2 fuel filters changed and no leaks on my Cummins diesel. They even offered to come to my home and clean up the oil spots!

I went in for an oil change and inspection. They had some trouble with my factory cap on my oil pain (it’s made of plastic). It barely had some nicks in it and I wouldn’t have noticed any way, but still they told me about it (shows deep integrity). They changed the oil in both my wife’s van and my truck. The truck (1794 Tundra) costs only 108.00 including the inspection, and the van (a sienna) costs $81.97. Very reasonable in my opinion. Great customer service too.

I discovered this place one day while driving down South Slide Rd. I have seen Grease Monkey shops in Littleton, CO and Clovis, NM, but I never knew that Lubbock had one! My regular oil change place got bought out so I needed a new place. I went in to have a headlight bulb replaced. They were so nice! I even had my headlight lensrs restored. They look beautiful! A free car wash and vacuum with an oil change? Yes, please! I love this place!

My husband called and stated we had a FIAT and asked the cost of an oil exchange. The price was quoted but not that an oil filter was another $12 along with an environment charge to get rid of the oil. I left and then discovered they had not put the sticker up for the next time for an oil change. I went back got the sticker and it had the miles on my car not projected.

AVOID!!Had an alleged coolant flush. Vehicle, because of the turbo and sensors requires a specific type of coolant. Afterwards they advised we use universal!! Having incorrect fluid put in is bad enough, but these Einsteins couldt even fill the reservoir to correct level. The fluid in the tank coolant tank looks like it has oil... what the actual eff did they flushSave yourself the aggravation... take your vehicle anywhere, but here!!!

Went to get a car wash for a dually today. They are the only car wash in town that can do them. They were having some concrete work done around the drive, which I understand, but they are letting all the other cars go through and get cleaned except duallys. Instead of being professional and helping me get my car washed guiding me not to hit anything, the day before Thanksgiving, they turn we away so nothing happens to my truck . I live north of Wolfforth so its not easy or quick to get to 105th and Slide.

Have been getting oil changes here for a few years, with always good service. Today I received an oil change and inspection. Oil change and service were great, however the inspector T. Bradley was extremely unprofessional. She inspected the vehicle and said that the parking brake failed to hold the position. When she walked away to ring up the oil change I tested the system myself and found to hold perfectly. I bring this to her attention and she becomes very defensive about what is required. She re checks and finds that it is perfectly operable. The problem was that she did not engage the brake hardly at all on her first test. Then proceeds to tell me she should still fail it because its supposed to hold as soon as the light engages, well no the light engages immediately when pressure is on the parking brake pedal, but it is a progressive systems which does not fully lock until fully engaged. She passes it while saying it shouldnt pass, so there are many red flags to this operation and I will not be back. Here is what the Texas requirements are for this system to pass, so that the inspector can know and not just make up stuff. 2. Inspect Parking Brake for and reject if:a. Motor vehicle is not equipped with a parking brake.b. Operating mechanism, when fully applied, does not hold the vehicle. The service brake pedal or control,shall be capable of:c. Actuating mechanism is not fully released when the release control is operated.d. Any mechanical parts are missing, broken, badly worn, or not operating properly.e. Pull cables are badly worn, stretched, frayed, or not operating freely.f. Parking brake will not hold the vehicle in place when, with the engine running, the vehicle is place inforward gear and the engine is accelerated enough to cause a slight pull on the braking mechanism.

Grease monkey is the only place I can take my truck to get wash because of my rims and tires. All these other car washes tracks are to small for my wide wheels. Everyone that I have talk to have been real nice and have treated me right.

Dont let a girl inspect your vehicle! I went to go get a state inspection and just because my 2018 Zl1 was cammed out she assumed my tires were racing tires when my tires and wheels are still stock. Saying there is no thread when she could have stuck her hand to see there is thread on them. Then I took it some where else and guess what, they passed it with no hassles. Then a few months back I brought my other car for a inspection and oil change. They did the inspection and didnt do the oil change but still charged me for it. Never going back and Ill spread the word to everyone I know.

I usually go to Mister Car wash on 50th and get a wash Evey week but I went to this locationwash today hoping to catch the haunted carwash for the kids but unfortunately I was to early (that was my bad) and after the 15.00 wash I noticed when I went to put gas that my f150s shiny thing by the window had been hit so hard it is all bent and sticking out.. I tried to fix it but its bent pretty good..Ive heard of things like this happening however never thought it be me cause I do machine washes all the time! I realize this is not an issue done purposely but Im just so sad over it..I rated 3 stars because the employees were very nice ! One of the employees noticed we had kiddos in the car and asked if we came to see the haunted wash and told us it was actually from 8-10. We didnt ask about it but he just knew and I thought that was so cool he took the time to tell us

Our first time visiting(on Tuesday, 6/2/2020)& the friendliness of the staff was great. We upgraded our oil change package to include the roadside assistance at the encouragement of the young lady who helped us, for a few bucks more. Not sure if wed need it but like that we have it, just in case. We didnt get do the carwash that day, thats also included with the oil change, but went back today(6/5/2020) & did it (carwash is good for 7 days after original purchase) & our car really looks great. Looking forward to maintaining our car here!

This was the easiest and most comfortable oil change ever. I thought I had to get my air filter replaced - they cleaned it out and said I could wait until the next oil change. They also didn’t try to up-sell me on oil options. With the weather change, my tires were low on air, so they topped my tires off, all the fluids - all for free. And vacuumed my car! I have a free car wash next time I visit, and I barely paid anything! They were the nicest, and I can’t compliment them enough.

The oil change section actually closes at 6 weekdays. I arrived near 6 pm because from the web info, I thought they closed at 7:30. The car wash only is open until 7:30. In any case, they worked me in anyway and much faster than expected. Logan was efficient and friendly. I got an oil change and the free car wash was an awesome bonus. I will go back!

If you like having a working vehicle, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Terrible experience. Need a ZERO stars option. The tech failed to properly seal/replace the cap, causing oil to leak and the engine to blow. Then, this business chose to deny their mistake and hang me with a $5k repair bill.

Great location; prompt, polite, friendly, and hospitable. We were offered complimentary coffee, a cold drink from the guest refrigerator, and the kids loved the play room. It was accommodating, comfortable, and clean. Not to mention, the service was without delay and at a lower cost than we expected. In fact, my synthetic high-mileage oil change was cheaper than our usual servicer by roughly 40%. They also gave me a military discount, shook my hand, and opened the door for my family and I. We will return. Jacob is running a great shift.
