Had brakes installed there a while back, so just now getting to the review. They did a good job on them, but charged an arm and a leg for a 1991 Toyota—nearly $400.Giving them two stars because I had this massive squealing from my brakes, took it in, and they charged me near $60 for “taking care of it.” Not sure what they they did, but the squealing stopped for a few weeks. Eventually, I stripped the brakes myself and it ended up being my shoes not being lubricated on contact pointsKinda on me, since I should’ve done this from the beginning but I just wish they wouldn’t have essentially lied about taking care of my squealing brakes. When I did strip my brakes, there was no evidence of them lubing anything so I’m guessing all they did was spray some stuff to temporally stop the noise hoping I would come back, only to charge me more.People were nice though, so it can be deceiving and easy to fall for their charisma.

My appointment was at 1.I dropped it off at 12:30 so I could go to lunch with a friend, he was picking me up.When I came back after lunch the car was on the lift👍🏽I got an oil change, tire rotation, alignment, and balanced. I walked out the front door at 2:10. I was told it would take two hours and it was less. The two gentlemen who I spoke with were both very professional and very friendly. I will definitely be back to this particular location.On Google they have four stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I would like to add that nobody asked (or TOLD) me if I needed new tires, windshield wipers, or an air filter. I think this is a good place to take your car

I came for a wheel alignment and I left with a puncture tire. The tire was brand new and the screw was centered on the tire with no scratch mark on the head and looks like its been drilled straight. We are all struggling today but not an excuse to scam people. Firestone 19th Lubbock

My daughter took her vehicle to the Firestone on 19th st because she thought she had a slow leak in her front passenger side. They called and told her that it could not be repaired because it had previously been fixed with a patch so they recommended her to purchase four new tires. She refused and we picked up her vehicle and took it to crest tires. Well they did not find any leaks on the front passenger side and it was never patched. Liars

My husband and I stopped here to get Assistance with our trailer tire the guy let us know sorry we can’t help because I need to close the store now remind you it wasn’t time for them to close up so my husband says what do you do when customers are here at closing do you help them or make them leave the guy continued to tell us he can’t help so now we’re stuck with a flat tire and closed shops

I had to go there to fix my daughters tire that had a slow leak. I bought the tires there and got the road hazard warranty. That pays for it self. They took it in and fixed it with no problems and in a timely manner. Whats best is that they are nation wide. Ive had my tires fixed in Iowa without any problems.

Went in because my wife’s 2020 dodge challenger tire had a puncture wound from road hazard. Doug the service manager was an absolute delight to deal with. I can always trust Firestone. My daughter and I drove in to Lubbock for her swim meet, but on the way in from the Amarillo area, my coolant light came on. As soon as I could, I stopped to get some, but discovered it leaking from a hose as it was being poured into the reservoir. Luckily we were an hour early, so we stopped at the Super Tech mechanic shop recommended by the business I bought the coolant from only to discover the tenant refused to look at my car because the lifts were outside and he wouldnt have his mechanics outside in the cold. It is no wonder they have less than a 4 star rating.Long story short, I decided to look up Firestones address because we use the one in Amarillo on Coulter Ave, so its familiar. GaryDon Derryberry was extremely helpful. He managed to track down a part that was needed, and although it turned out that the part had changed and another part was needed to be able to completely fix it (which would not come in until Wednesday), he and his team were able to fix the car with enough care to get us back home safely until we can address the situation further with our mechanic at the Firestone we use in Amarillo. Tye (sp?) was also extremely kind and helpful. I appreciate all the skilled mechanics who did their best to see my daughter and me home safely. This is why I will always trust and recommend Firestone! 🥰

My wife was traveling from Colorado to Texas to visit family when she got a flat. Approximately 40 miles away from the store .... not a problem for Doug. He located a tire, a mobile repair service and had a solution on the way before I even paid him! Incredible service way above and beyond anything I have seen in years. Told me itd take all day to repair a leak in my tire I bought there. Then the manager told me he couldnt fix it at all because I put fox a flat in it. Its like he didnt want my money. But dont worry McWhorters fixed, Ill never try to give them my money again.

I took a tire in for a flat fix. Had to use fix-a-flat to get it there. They kept me there a half hour BEFORE they said they couldn’t fix it because I’d used fix a flat. Then said I’d have to BUY a new tire. I’ll never be back. What a waste of my time. The staff is rude as well. They never asked about fix-a-flat, which would have at least saved some time. They’re inconsiderate and mercenary. Stay away.

The sales advisor was quick to acknowledge me even though he was busy. He greeted me by name when I returned for my vehicle.I was also very pleased when he pointed out that one service was not needed but that another was over due.Then when they found that an additional part was damaged, they replaced, free of charge.

Excellent customer service. Just got off the phone with an employee named Doug. I called doug to ask question about my car, had to at least take 15-20 mins, and he wasnt rushing me off the phone or anything like that, I felt like he genuinely cared about what I was asking about! Ive lived in Lubbock a long time. Ive taken my cars to many places over the years. Everybody has moments where things come up and take longer or another issue is found. Its just the way it is. Sunday afternoon found my car parked on a flat, honking big nail embedded in the treads. Firestone is open Sundays, fit me in right away hot me back on the road in an hour. Very convenient, saved me Monday morning hassles. Very reasonable repair cost - $20 and change.

Super nice staff, incredibly fast. Always start at the cheapest possible solution and work their way up, wont charge you for anything until its fixed. Dont charge you for anything except the solution that was needed from the start.

Had to get new tires because one of my tires almost shredded on the way home from work. It was a little after 2 PM when it happened. They worked me in and had the tires done before the end of the day. The whole staff was very nice and helpful.

Wouldnt a honor coupon because they said my car needs a different type of oil. (0W20 even though the coupon only states synthetic blend not any oil weight). After getting the car back the battery was in excellent condition according to them. 2 days later my battery died. Upon inspection one of the terminals was badly corroded, which would have been easily noticed had they actually checked it. After going back to have them replace the battery they were extremely unhelpful and unwillingly to help me. Wont be returning to this location, as it is clear they just want to take advantage of their clientele who happens to be younger people.

Avoid this place like the plague. Total incompetence.My daughter dropped off her car in the morning with a small oil leak. They diagnosed as a problem with the drain plug. 7 1/2 hours later, and they still hadnt even touched it, blaming it on a delivery issue. Even though I spoke with the mgr at 2 and let him know that the car used a crush washer, and it just needed to be replaced. Not the entire plug. He assured me that they would locate the washer, even if they had to buy a 3 pack.My daughter showed up at 5, and was told it might not be until tomorrow. The mgr had left for the day, and nobody was aware of our conversation.Spoke with the counter staff, who had no idea, and then he simply hung up on me.Needless to say I had my daughter take the car and just leave.... unrepaired.It needed a drain plug washer!!! Srsly??

When I went in to purchase tires and get my state inspection done...I was expecting the regular tire man to come in and blah blah blah his way through trying to charge me for everything! Well..that didnt happen at the store on 19th! I spoke with a very smart and informative young man by the name of Hayden. Hayden answered all my questions, gave me my available discounts, offered me a chance to apply for a firestone credit card...which I was approved for! I left from this tire place a happy woman! I didnt even mind that I had to wait a bit in the lobby. (I hadnt made an appointment) Thank you Hayden at Firestone!!

Took my car in for a set of tires. They did not have the ones that I found on the internet but they gave me another set of tires for the same price. They were very nice and did a great job on the set of tires.

The Firestone off 19th street is awesome! Theyre a touch small, but try their best to please their customers. In my experience, I dropped my truck off to have about 4 small things fixed, and was classically underpromised and overdelivered! You never know what will push you back, so this is the right move. I dropped it off around 1:50pm and had it back in my hands by 6:30! They try to accommodate with rides when they have free bodies, so when I dropped it off, they were unfortunately busy so I walkes, but picking it up, I was offered a ride there!Dustin is an excellent and very personable mechanic, he deserves a commendation and is definitely the kind of guy who builds customer loyalty.

I learned something new today Ive got a flat tire while at Walmart so I bought some of that fix a flat well I just learned that if you ever use that your tire cannot be repaired some warning to all the others likely I had the road hazard on my tire so all turned out well it was very helpful got me in quick and got me out

Dont use Firestone unless you have no choice and even then it might be better to be on foot. First I took my truck to the one on Slide to get an inspection. They told me my lights were out and there was an exhaust leak. I fixed the exhaust. So I decided to take it to the Firestone on 19th because its closer to my house to fix the lighting and get the inspection done. Now miraculously the brakes dont pass inspection. The only reason Im letting do the work is I am pressed for time and this will be the last dollar they ever get from me. The worst part is the overcharge for everything. I can buy all four brakes for just over 100 and they are charging over three hundred. I bout two of the lights myself cost me 45 when they wanted 100. If you need a mechanic its better to go local

My experience was excellent with staff at Firestone on 19th in Lubbock, Texas. The STAFF were ALL professional and knowledgeable. The manager was giving me information on my car while I waited. The manager was multi tasking and he was so knowledgeable on the phone with customers. I felt very comfortable after listening to him, since Dustin was not available. Took my 2008 red chevy silverado crewcab in for radiator fluish. They over filled my radiator reservoir. Also when i went to pick truck up it was parked backwards. So i would just drive out. Not a word was told, but they had scratched the back driver side. Next to my rear break light. I didnt notice it till after i got home. Called them for 10 mins befor they closed no one answered. They parked my truck like that on purpose, knowing i would just drive off.

Decent place, got a car inspection done there once. Friendly enough staff.

Took them 4 days to determine a 80s vehicle was too old to be worked on. If your mechanic cant work on a small block chevy they arent a mechanic

VERY SLOW. Made an appt at 11 and took over an hour to just patch one tire.

They were backed up but did help us put spare on and get us back on the road. We were pulling a 20 trailer that was loaded.
