I went to get the camera on my laptop fixed, the guy did not even look at my camera but said he would take it for 14 days to try to fix it, i explained i couldnt do that because i have school. He just sent me on my way, now i went to best buy to the geek squad and they fixed my camera right up and it took less than 5 minutes. Definitely wont be coming back here.

Went to Simply Mac to get my iPhone 12 Pro Max fixed because it wasn’t booting up. No one in town would fix it at all. The phone is brand new and would not boot up. I didn’t have a phone for almost a week. I was on a wild goose chase until I came here. They fixed my phone in 2 hours!!!!! Amazing service and amazing results!!!! I will always recommend for Apple service!! I will go no where else but here! Thanks guys for your hard work!!

My iPods are always trying to reconnect to my iPhone or My IPad. If it’s not close to the case it’ll not connect to either. These are my second air pod pros. My first ones never had a problem, these ones keep having issues. Not even the stores, can figure it out. So I went out and bought Beats….

I have used Simply Mac numerous times and been very pleased. That is why I chose to take my Mac Mini to them when it would only partially boot up. Evidently my only option was to pay $99 to have them reinstall the software. I wrongly assumed they would hook it up to a monitor before wiping it clean, to see what the issue was. But no, they wiped it clean and installed the new operating system. When I took it home the issue was not resolved...it was my MONITOR and not the computer! So, $99 wasted, and a couple of hours reinstalling everything on my new operating system. All could have been avoided if they had checked out my complaint before proceeding with the repair. When I asked for compensation, I was told no adjustment could be made. Not sure if I will use them in the future or not.

My AirPods were not working so I took them in to Simply Mac. They did diagnostics and found both to be malfunctioning. With my AppleCare, I received two new ones threw days later at no charge. They were friendly and efficient.

Wouldnt replace the screen on my phone because it wasnt bad enough, saying they needed approval from Apple. When I called Apple and told them the situation the Apple rep said that doesnt make any sense and made me an appointment at Best Buy to replace the screen. I have Apple Care for a reason, and if Simply Mac cant or doesnt want to honor that then I dont see a reason to go there.

I brought my Imac Pro in to fix a problem with it not turning on and another with its display, and it was amazingly easy. The whole time I was informed of what was going on, when my computer was being worked on, what was being done to it, and why. Any extra questions I had were answered plainly and in a way that I understood. Every contact that was had was jovial and, for lack of a better word, nice. The two people that I interacted with most, Raymond and Shawn, were very helpful and informative. Thank you!

Told me it would be $660 for a new screen but really, the total charge in the end was shy of $800, shy only by some twenty dollars. Maybe just send your laptop in to the actual Apple store, they quoted me the charges were going to be under $500 and I just went here to get it sooner instead of waiting for the shipping times. They did a good job though, it looks like they even cleaned my laptop which desperately needed it. I just don’t get how it ended up costing so much more when they told me about the taxes and labor fee, like maybe I misunderstood but I was trying to pay attention because I was already stressing over the money.Update: They ended up charging me $79.99 extra dollars on accident and when I asked them to refund me it, they were at first very accommodating, got back to me and asked for my address to send me a check for the amount they overcharged me but they never sent me anything and when I asked about it it, they suddenly stopped replying. I tried to reach out two more times and they didn’t respond with anything, not to tell me I was wrong, right or that it would take some more time. I explained the whole thing to my bank and sent them the literal receipts and thankfully, was able to get reimbursed the $80 through them, but I don’t get why they would stop communicating with me so abruptly and let months go on with out fixing the issue. I can only think something happened to the person handling it, like he quit or was let go, either that or they wanted to keep the extra $80. I originally left a three star review for being charged more than what I was quoted, which I totally would have bumped the score up if they had fixed the problem because it was an accident that they overcharged me, but now I’m bringing the score down because of the bad customer service and potential malicious decision to overcharge me.

I needed a cover and a screen protector for my new iPad mini. The clerk was very helpful and answered all my questions. I was impressed with how carefully he put the screen protector in place, and then helped me figure out how to use the cover properly. (I’m not very savvy about these things.) It was definitely a good experience.

Amazing customer service! Ray was informative, communicated well, and patient in answering all my questions! I happened to receive an item that was not working and they replaced it without charging me. They had a quick turnaround time to get my computer back to me. Another time, they were very busy but honest about when the computer would be ready. I cannot recommend them enough!

I would recommend calling and making an appointment beforehand, but we went in and got an appointment for like an hour so we just wasted time in the mall. I purchased an IPhone late last month, and discovered it had a small vertical line in the middle of the screen. I went to the AT&T store where I purchased the phone - they said the phone had a defect but they could not replace the phone. An agent there contacted AT&T, and I was subsequently told to go to Best Buy. Best Buy told me they could not replace my phone since I had not purchased my phone from them. I went back to the AT&T store, and they suggested I go to the Simply Mac store in the Mall. They ran a diagnostic test on the phone, and said they would be able to replace the screen. I picked up my phone the next day, the vertical line was gone, and I now have a new phone with no defects - - which I should have been given in the first place! Thanks to the great service provided by Simply Mac!!

Not only that, but I called the next day with an additional issue/question, and he was able to walk me through it over the phone. I had never been to a simply Mac before. I am new to the area and they had Apple stores where I was previously from. The store is nice, clean, and the face to face service was great.I do think they could use a que person to greet customers and answer phones. I find them lacking in that department. If they get busy, they dont answer the phone and customers are left to wander aimlessly.I needed a new battery for my wifes phone. I was surprised to find out they didnt carry that battery in stock so it had to be ordered from Apple. That took longer than expected but the price was consistent with apple repair.Then things got confusing. They tried to return my phone to me with a new battery and a new defect. I contacted apple to intervene. Im not really sure if the apple representative helped or not but everything was sorted out in the end and the phone is back to normal.I recommend setting an appointment before coming here for anything. Its probably the only way youre going to get service.

Everyone was very helpful. There were several customers in the store. I had an appointment and didn’t have to wait long. Even those without appointments were taken care of quickly. The store was full and then relatively empty within 20-30 minutes. The manager was very efficient.

Do not shop here!!!! They will tell you nothing but lies about their products and warranties. I have purchased over $100 worth of chargers (moshi) from this store only because they said I could just take them back to their store to get them replaced if I had problems with them. I was told that my information was stored in their computer and it wouldnt be an issue. I went up there today to do just that. I was told today that I would have to file with Moshi to get my replacement phone chargers. They will tell you anything just to make a sale. BUYERS BE WARE!!!!!!!

All in all it was not a horrible experience. The first gentleman we spoke with acted a bit put off that I asked for service without an appointment. Didnt know I needed one but now I do. The screen replacement took a bit longer than what they told us, not a huge issue really. We were told approximately 2 hours and at the 3-hour mark it was ready but they did not call me to let me know it was ready. As stated, it was not horrible, but the first gentleman I dealt with could have been nicer.

I went here initially to get my phone serviced, they realized that my phone was not functioning well and told me that they would have to reinstall the firmware and check. The problem did not resolve even after the firmware install so I took it back after a week and they could not do anything. I asked for a replacement but then they told me to mail it to apple directly. I contacted Apple and they said the service center should be able to help. I went to I orchid who helped me replace my phone with ease. Simply mac is not a store to rely on.

Compared to the other option in town of iOrchard, Simply Mac is a good store for repairs. Ive not purchased any new computers or products from them, but their techs have been doing good work for us so far. They are much quicker, and have worked to get to the best solution as quickly as possible for us. Very well pleased.

Needed the battery replaced in my Iphone. They gave me an appointment. They were ready and on top of the issue when I arrived. Quick, clean check-in procedure. Phone was ready exactly when they said it would be, and works just as it did when new. Cost was fair. I dont see much room for improvement.

Came to get my screen fixed and they told me I’d have replace my entire phone because of a small crack beside my actual camera lense. My camera is working and functioning the lense isn’t cracked. It’s my screen that is cracked and needed to be fixed which isn’t functioning properly. I have Apple coverage so to get my screen fixed it’s be it’s be under 50 bucks which I think is a great deal, especially for a college student. But they were trying tell me it’d cost me over $100 to replace my entire phone which makes absolutely no sense to me if the only thing I need repaired is my screen. Complete waste of time. Im sure it’s called SCREEN REPAIR for a reason.

Not very helpful. I was recommended to go here by Apple to fix my touchscreen, since there isnt an actual Apple store in Lubbock. After signing in to be helped, 4 different employees came up to me and asked me what problem I was having, each time handing me off to wait on another employee. Finally someone took my phone to look at it and, though I had already done it twice, he wanted to try restoring my phone. I allowed him to try, and it did not work. While my phone was restoring, the employee who was helping me left the store to go get a soda from the food court. When he came back to show me the restore hadnt worked, he said he was going to try to see if the screen wasnt connected correctly. He went to the back with my phone again and got the screen working, but told me that about 50% of the time this is only a temporary fix, and if it stops working again, that I should come back into the store to see what they can do about completely replacing the hardware, meaning, buying a whole new phone. During my time in the store, this is something I heard them tell 3 or 4 other customers. The employee helping me had very dirty hands and literally left a dark smudge on my screen from the food he just ate. And of course, 2 days later, my touch screen has stopped working. Dont come here expecting them to fix anything more than a very minor issue. Though they didnt charge me, I feel as if this place is just somewhere that will 90% of the time tell you that you need a whole new phone, and profit from the phone sale rather than actually fixing anything.

They repaired an issue CAUSED by the techs at AppleCare Support. I had AppleCare on my 2018 MacBook Pro, started having charging issues, and the Apple support told me to send it in. Sent it in, they repaired the issue, they also replaced a few parts and reinstalled my OS. They failed to reinstall the newest and right OS, so my system didnt recognize it. When I called Apple they told me to contact Simply Mac. Less than impressed with Apple, but the guys at Simply Mac made it right. They repaired the error caused by Apple support and checked/repaired the initial issue. So impressed with their knowledge, speed and integrity. Will definitely go back for ANY Apple issue.

Horrible experience. I spoke with a Roy or Ray on the phone this morning who told me he could schedule me at 3:45 today. I rearranged my schedule and left work to be there, even 10 mins early. Once I arrived, the rep (young, dark hair gentleman) told me that I was not scheduled and that they do not schedule in 40 min increments either way. He proceeded to tell me the next available time would be after 5. Then he said the next available time would be tomorrow. I will not be coming back to this place! They do not even deserve 1 star. Customer service sucks!!!!

Fast, professional and friendly. Lee helped me trade in my old iPhone for an X and it took less than 35 minutes from start to finish, including a tutorial on the differences in the interface. While I was there, I witnessed more than one customer treat some of the other staff members rudely for no apparent reason and the staff continued to be polite and professional. Kudos to the staff for maintaining your composure - Id hire you. And for many of you who rated your service poorly, Id wager you get poor service just about everywhere you go - have you ever wondered why? Took me two days to even get to talk to someone. Finally scheduled an appointment to replace my iPhone 6 battery, came in (drove across town, mind you) and was told that they couldnt do it that day, but to come back the next morning. So I came back the next morning, and was told they would need to replace my screen also in order to replace the battery. They didnt even have the tools in-store needed to replace the screen, and would have had to ship it off--which would result in me being without a phone for 3-5 business days. No thank you.If yall could get the tools necessary to fix Apple devices, that would be great...also, try communicating with your team on how to serve customers best, because theyre pretty incompetent. I had a much better experience at Fix In a Zip.

Simply Newer Mac to be specific... If you bring a laptop model that is not that old, but old enough like my MacBook Pro 2011 with a hardware issue, they would tell you that they wouldnt fix it because the model is too old. I understand that they have to contact Apple directly to order a part, but whats the point of this store if they cant fix older models either. I would just go somewhere else and they would lose the money. At least they didnt charge me for the diagnostics. Only for that +2 stars.

If I could give less than a star, I would. Terrible customer service skills. No real organization. When you walk in, no one speaks to you. You dont know where to go/what to do and could end up spending 30-45 minutes in the store before anyone even speaks to you. If you go, be assertive or you will not get service. Worst-case option. After calling Apple technical support about a problem with my iPhone I was told to take the phone to Simply Mac for further diagnosis. With no prior experience with Simply Mac I was a little sceptical about dealing with anyone but a genius at an official Apple Store. To my pleasant surprise the staff at Simply Mac were obviously well trained and friendly. Simply Mac was just like being in an Apple Store and the agent that worked with me was very thorough in troubleshooting the problem with my phone. She determined there was a hardware problem with my phone and replaced it under warranty with a new phone right there in the store. I couldnt have been better treated and pleased with my visit to Simply Mac in Lubbock, TX !!

It took 3 1/2 hours to get a new phone. Download took forever, was kicked off by your wifi. I kept telling the guys that it was not doing right, but they said it just took along time!! Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. After updating my iPhone, the screen started freezing. I tried restarting it, restoring it, and restoring it to factory settings. Nothing worked. The rep offered to try restoring it to factory settings for $20 even though this phone is 2 months old, under warranty, and I already did that. I told him Ive already tried that and he said there was nothing he could do then. Very rude and didnt care if my phone worked or not. I refuse to ever use this store again.

Don’t bother coming here, especially for laptops. I don’t know how they are with phones or iPads, but this is possibly the worst and most expensive place to bring your laptop. First of all, the customer service is horrible. There was nobody in the store, and I sat close to 20 mins waiting while the only guy working tended to someone else. Why don’t they have more people working in the store? While I was sitting, some woman, who, according to the guy that finally waited on me, said was their district manager, stared at me across the room. Didn’t speak. No “hello”, just staring. Okay. The guy finally comes and looks at my laptop, says the repair will be out of warranty, then says it will be $680 to fix. No type of concern, no type of wiggle room to work with to get the price down. Just plain and straight rudeness. His reasoning for it being expensive? “The computer is so new and we have to order the parts”. I took my laptop to the Apple Store in Dallas, and it was fixed for $475, a whole $205 difference. If these people can’t fix your things for similar prices as the Apple Store, then why are they verified Mac dealers? Doesn’t make much sense. Save your time and money, and if you can, take your product to an actual Apple Store.

Staff was friendly to your face, but unable or willing to help you once you left the store. Was told they would contact me about my Mac before anything was done, and they would update me daily. I had to call them repeatedly to finally learn they had shipped it off, when in the end all that was messed up was my charging adapter. And, once I received my computer back (a week later) it was another 3 days because of a faulty adapter. This was also all right in the middle of when I was supposed to be preparing for finals. If you have a problem with you computer, I recommend just sucking it up and driving to the nearest Apple Store in Fort Worth. It will save you a lot of time and frustration.

I dont know about about others but I always received good service from these people. They do make you wait for a while due to customer volume or probably less people working there. But they have helped me out in a lot of ways with my mac and iphone. Giving them 4 just because of the waiting period. Ray who works there helped me everything and he is a nice and friendly person

The guys at Simply Mac were terrible and so rude to me. They didnt seem to want to fix my problem at all. They didnt even take the time to look at my phone! Even after I called apple and they said they could fix it, the tech said the apple tech I talked to on the phone was an idiot...his words. After I went home I tried what the apple agent on the phone told me & my problem was fixed. I wonder if the tech at simply mac is the idiot here.
