Richard has worked on many of my clients MBP’s. Always does a complete job and all are happy. He recently upgrade my 2010 MBP with a TB SSD drive and cleaned out all unnecessary files. Boots up like a new Mac! I can count on Richard to go above and beyond what other repair shops would do. I recommend him 100%..st
Richard did a fantastic job updating my 7yr old iMac. It’s running better than I can remember. I’d definitely recommend him to any/all Apple users when you need a tuneup.
Richard was GREAT! He answered my questions quickly and helped me upgrade my computer so I would not have to buy a new one. Great guy and great service!
I have used Mac Hale Enterprise several times. His work is excellent and He always does whatever is needed. I cant thank him enough for his prompt and good work. I had a problem about 18 months ago with my17 mac book pro, as the screen went dark. Apple said they wouldnt work on it. All I could do was buy a new one, which I did regrettably. The new 15 didnt have DVD or CD player, and wouldnt hook up to my printer.Mac Hale repaired my old one, and updated everything for $400. I am extremely pleased with his work.Yesterday, I took my mac book pro and new HP printer to him because they werent communicating so I could scan or print from my phone, and while I was in town he got the problem solved. I am so happy.
10/10 Recommend. I use my computer for all my school needs, and when the hard drive failed, I was in a frenzy trying to find a good place to take it that was reasonably priced and service time was short. Unlike the local Apple licensed store, which takes almost 2 weeks more or less to fix, he was able to fix it in a day. He also did not charge unreasonable prices for the service and repairs. I highly recommend him!
Wonderfully knowledgeable & genuinely wants the best for all his clients!! I cannot stress enough how great he is!!!! Got my laptop back the same day!! Went above and beyond. Thank you Richard!!
Richard indeed proved worthy of such high praise; he was able to get me in and worked on my Mac within a few hours, his fee was actually less than he quoted me earlier, and Ill certainly call him again if my MacBook Pro needs help in the future. Definitely worth the call.
Without a doubt one of the finest and affordable repair solutions for your Macintosh needs anywhere. I have been a Mac user since 1987 and I have NEVER experienced the customer support, help and affordability that Mr. Mayer provides. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAC HALE ENTERPRISES for your Mac repair/consultation needs!
This is a repair shop that repair shops send their stuff to. Point being, he is an expert in the Mac repair community. People around the world come to this guy for advice! Cant go wrong here!!!
If you need any help with your Mac computer needs, Richard is definitely the person to go to. My Mac had died on me with all my data (most of which I had not backed up). I first took it to Simply Mac, since Lubbock doesnt have an Apple store and I didnt know where else to go. They said they wouldnt be able to fix it because my computer was too old and they wouldnt be able to get the right logic board. After asking around, a friend had recommended Richard, so I took my computer to him, and not only did he say he could fix my computer, but he also saved all my data AND removed 12 viruses that were on my computer! Now I know why Lubbock, TX doesnt have an Apple store, its because we have Richard who offers way better service than Ive ever experienced at any Mac store.
I found Richard on a forum many months ago; had a repair issue with my old Mac Book; had to ship him my Mac for some soldering that I didnt know how to do; he fixed it up and sent it back; then about a yr later I needed a new Mac Book; I remembered that he had some inventory so I sent him a check; he found me a super clean used Mac Book Pro; Ive never sent someone a large check without even meeting him but after trading a few emails I got a sense of the guy and I was right to trust him; would do business with him again without hesitation; two thumbs up!!!!
I brought my old 2006 Mac Book Pro to Mr. Mayer, just for a new battery. He changed the battery just fine, then proceeded to make sure the rest of my laptop was in complete working order. It was not! I also needed a new/correct hard drive and all of the associated software. He spent hours upon hours migrating my info from the old drive to the new one. It was tedious and long because of the condition of my old drive, not because of a lack of knowledge on Mr. Mayers part. His dedication to perfection in not returning my laptop until it was set up and running perfectly it truly admirable. I would trust him with any of my Mac products.
Thanks to Mac Hale my daughter can continue to use her MacBook Pro for the last two years of college! His turnaround time was great (2 days). He even told her that if the repair on the screen housing did not hold, he would fix it for free! Thank you for solving her problem and getting her ready for the semester.
Excelllent He found and corrected problems that two other computer companys didnt know how to solve. He is professional, extremely knowledgable, polite and personable. His prices are reasonable and and the work beyond reproach. So glad I found the satisfied reviews and I agree with everyone of them. He is a (must have) for Mac owners.
I recently tried to upgrade my Mac OS from Sierra to High Sierra. I started this on 19 Nov and after a busy week sat back down at my computer on 26 Nov to something I had never see before on a Mac. My iMac had gone stupid and said things like panic and OS not yet set. It was stuck in this loop and I had no idea what to do. I found Richard online and called him. I was able to get my iMac to him right away. He told me it would take two days and quoted me a very reasonable price. I left the computer with him and went back home. Richard called me later that evening to tell me my computer was ready to be picked up and it ended up costing half of what he had originally quoted me.If you own a Mac of any sort, and you are in the Lubbock, TX area, then Richard is who you want working on your computer when you run into the occasional need for repair or service. Apple can keep their geniuses. My family will be doing business with Richard from now on.
This is THE guy to go to if youre having issues. My Mac Mini was having troubles with the Kernel_task eating up CPU. Issue was resolved and he even showed me some useful sites and tips, seeing as how I was a PC guy, I was clueless about Macs. Great price, Great service and a friendly dog to greet you at the door. Will be going back if I have any future issues.
Richard Mayer is the best and most knowledgeable Apple Mac guy anywhere!!! Buy your next Apple product from him or have yours fixed by a trusted professional!
Highly Recommend for great service and great prices. I came to Richard with my MacBook Air that I bought in 2014. I initially took my computer to Geek Squad (which I will never do again) because I did the OS Sierra update and during the update a virus attached to my computer and caused me to not be able to log in. Geek Squad told me that it would take at least a week to fix it and if they fixed it my data would be wiped and I did not have my data backed up so that was not an option. Geek Squad then gave me the option to transfer my data to another computer and then they could fix it. The later option would have taken 2 weeks total and force me to buy another computer and pay 400 for it to be fixed. I went to Richard with my Mac and he was able to not only restore all my data, but upgraded my Adobe, Word and Systemic and only took him 5 hours and was cheaper than Geek Squad. Great guy and would highly recommend for any Mac problems you may have.
The Apple store at the mall just wanted to sell me a new computer but Richard fixed mine instead and did so at a reasonable price. Its been working fine since he worked on it.
Richard was great. Was a bit skeptical at first since he runs the business out of his home, but he was knowledgable, easy to talk to and very flexible. Asked him to replace the hard drive on an iMac and was done over the weekend. He was even open late since I was coming in from out of town. Cost a little more than it would have to do the repair myself, but glad to pay the price to have someone knowledgable and capable take care of it.
Richard does great work, he knows his trade very well and fixed up my macbook so well that even my crazy ex girlfriend throwing my mac-book to the ground couldnt undo what he did
Mr Mayer got me right in and my broken MacBook screen was fixed right after lunch the same day. The other place in town wanted to replace the whole screen assembly, but MacHale Enterprises was able to just replace the broken glass for a fraction of the price. Looks and runs like new. Thank you
I am a working nurse that was in the middle of a test review for a nurse practitioner course when my MacBook Pro of eight years decided to die on me. I was horrified that my entire grad school papers, reviews and data log was gone forever. I, panic stricken, searched the internet for Mac repair facilities in Lubbock. I came upon Richards, no website, just name. I read the reviews others had left for him and was taken back by all the nice things everyone had written about him. They were absolutely, 100% truth! I called Richard on a Saturday, non the less, and he immediately went to work on my Mac. Richard informed me that my hard drive was absolutely dead and more than likely all my data was unretrievable. I was devastated that everything I had was gone. However, by Sunday afternoon Richard informed me that he had tried every trick he knew and was able to retrieve my work!!!! He spent three days and was able to give my computer life and me all my work back! He could have easily said no sorry. Its gone., and left it at that. And I, devastatingly would have had to accept it. But he didnt. He went WAY beyond for customer service. It seems silly to rant over broken computer or lost finals. However, in a day in age when good customer serve and good people are scarce, I feel compelled to acknowledge one when I get the privilege to encounter one. Thank you so much Richard. I hope I dont have to see you again. :)
Richard (owner of this business) is the most honest businessman Ive ever encountered. My macbook pro (late 2011 edition) had literally given up on me just before finals last semester. I went into Richards facility to see what we could do. One day later, I received a call from him and he asked if I could come in to discuss what had gone wrong. It turns out that there was corrosion on my logic board that, in effect, ruined the RAM. Not only did he tell me the problem, he showed me where the problematic areas were as well as he told me the financial cost of the situation.I had not much money at the time and after we talked about how much the replacement parts were - I decided that I should just get a new mac. Richard then sold me a (near brand new) 15 macbook pro at an unbeatable price. This business is run by an exceptionally intelligent man. He truly cares about his clients and makes darn sure that one will not leave his place without being taken care of.
Occasionally, you come across philanthropic individuals, willing to give freely of their time and considerable expertise to help others in computer trouble. Richard Mayer, of MacHale Enterprises, is such an individual. My old iMac simply needed a new PSU to get it back on the road, but all the usual parts suppliers no longer stocked parts for such an old machine. Richard Mayer, however, took the time to find an old, damaged PSU, repair it, and post it to ENGLAND. Two weeks later and my iMac has a new lease of life, and Im smiling. Great service, great expertise, great guy!
A1 Service, pointed me in the direction on how to fix my wifes 4 yr old macbook pro w/out charging me a dime.
