I had an infection for the first time I can remember and took it in and Bill fixed it very efficiently and I got it back the next day. He also put a much better virus program on for me. I so appreciate the service at Lubbock Computers and would highly recommend it to anyone.Nancy Harper

Im above-average when it comes to solving most of my computers problems, and usually I dont need outside help. However, when my desktop suffered a bizarre problem, I had no idea what to do. When I found mention of Lubbock Computers online, I was interested immediately: I liked the unassuming nature of the website and the overwhelmingly good reviews on Google. Seemed like a no-frills, common sense, down-to-earth sort of business, by people who really know their work. Perhaps this is true.Regardless, I felt unwelcome the minute I stepped in the door. When I tried to explain my problem to (who I presume was) the store owner, I could tell he had shut off and didnt want to listen to me. It was like he was silently willing me out of the door the entire time I talked to him. He couldnt seem to wait to walk out on me--he threw one sentence at me (one!) and started walking away before I could even say thank you and good-bye! I was only grateful that I had my brother nearby to verify that I hadnt started babbling or done something rude. The only thing I can figure is that the owner didnt want something work intensive, but rather some easy task, as it was one hour before closing. That said, this is a computer repair shop, not Taco Villa--I cant imagine that hed be forced to stay after hours, and I was prepared to wait as long as it took for a diagnosis. Perhaps he was offended that I didnt just try a fresh reinstall of the OS instead of wasting his time (even though, as it turned out, fresh reinstalls werent the answer to my problem). The thing was, I wasnt just going to him to get my problem fixed--I had hoped he could also help me understand WHY it had happened, and how I could prevent it in the future. I had envisioned an honest and forthright chat where I learned a little something new. Instead, I was practically thrown out on my face! This left a really bad taste in my mouth. Surely theres another computer place out there where one can be treated politely in addition to receiving good work!

I would strongly reccomend this place to anyone needing computer work done. I took my computer in because I couldn t get it to turn on. He told me it would be $115 to replace a part I needed. A few hours later he called me and told me that all I needed was a memory card popped back in that was loose and it booted up fine. I could come in and get it no charge!! I really appreciate his honesty, and therefore will go there if I never need computer work done.

Took my laptop to get it fixed. Guy Said it needed the hard drive replaced. So I left it Took over 3 hours. Picked it up and took it home. Tried to connect was not able to. Took it back a week later, the guy said, oh the hard drive needs to be replaced. Tries to connect to Internet 2 weeks later not able to. Took back told the guy he said very rudely it connected to my network so apparently you are entering the wrong password. Rude Rude Rude and very unprofessional. Dont take your computers there take them somwhere else. There is a guy at the fleamarket on Clovis Road that does better work and cheaper and installs all necessary programs.

I work in a computer related field and I am regularly asked by friends, coworkers, and family where they should take their computers for repair. I always recommend Lubbock Computers.I havent been to the store in a few years, but last time I was there I was building a computer that had a power supply problem that I wasnt equipped to deal with and wanted a second opinion on. I took the computer in to the store and got a call the next day telling me what the problem was. I went to pick up my computer and was fully expecting to pay, but the owner told me not to worry about it.Needless to say, I was extremely happy with the customer service I received and the speed that my question was answered. The owner is a good guy and you will not be disappointed. I will continue to recommend Lubbock Computers to everyone.

I have had problems connecting to WiFi since I bought my new computer (not even a month old). I took it to two different places, both of which gave me a band aid solution. An IT guy from Tech recommended Lubbock Computers so I decided to give it a try. He was able to fix my problem in TEN MINUTES. I was so relieved that the manager (Im assuming he was a male) was able to fix a problem that I had for almost a month. He also walked me through how to back up information and how to download other software to prevent this problem from happening again. I was also there right before he closed so he was helping me even though it was practically the end of his work day. I definitely recommend this place! I was worried I had to buy some parts and replace some hardware, I am so glad I found this place!

DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS WITH YOUR COMPUTER!!! Took my MacBook in with a fixable problem and the guy told me it was going to be $800 to repair. I took it somewhere else for a second opinion and it was revealed that the guy at Lubbock Computers carelessly ripped a port on the logic board of my computer. I took it back to Lubbock Computers and he denied denied denied even when there was eveident proof that he broke it. I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER HERE
