They do not get things done in a zip. Took my laptop they told me 24 to 48 hours okay cool. A week later and they still hadnt done what I wanted done to my laptop so went and picked it up not satisfied at all! Will never go here again for services.

Fix In a Zip has been meeting my personal cell phone needs for years now. I am a business owner now and work with them regularly. They are honest, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I will use them for my personal and business IT and drone requirements. I highly recommend.

Screen protector is NOT edge to edge, is off center, and has dust and lint spots under the screen. Im dissapointed in the product and the service.

To start all normal they had google reviews so I dropped it off . So far great I received a weird call asking my recommendation on the essence of the repair I stated I left it there cause of their expertise in computer repair. He asked my preference on windows I mentioned I had another repair shop supposedly give me a “lifetime windows key”. And I have missed call I return the call hey it’s the windows key it failed but we installed a new one so it’s ready 145$ please. But no one called to verify I wanted that done. But it’s fixed and now I’ll have the paperwork for the key for any issues. I walk in and the guys are to busy to come out ( discussing their life theme songs.) I ask for the new key and I get a sticky note and uh I don’t know anything. Then tony I guess who is the owner he said stands behind his work blah blah blah. Lesson learned go to Best Buy,

Ive brought in a few devices for repairs. They are always professional, patient, and expedient. My devices go through some harsh environments and they are always equipped to fix everything from an old tablet needing a new battery to a new laptop needing many broken things. I highly recommend their services.

Fine so far. Service was good. Guys were nice guys. Thought it was little higher than Odessa shop which was 250 and they fixed it in an hour. But got it fixed so all good.

First visit and have nothing impressive to say except thier Customer Service was not very friendly and prices seemed way above average another words very expensive. And the several items I needed have to be ordered with a turn around of 5-6 days and one item would have to be ordered next month to get!!!! I wasnt impressed I can order it online from numerous online stores and get faster service and free shipping with in a couple days. I want be using thier Services. 🤔😏

These guys took a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone that Samsung couldnt do anything with and recovered the data.Samsung wanted more than $300 just to re-load the OS on the phone, and wouldnt guarantee that the phone would work when they were finished. These guys recovered all the data for MUCH less than $300! It took them a while, but considering I couldnt even get the phone to finish booting up, I expected that.Next time I need help with a phone, you can bet Im gonna get these guys to do it.

Ill save you time and money. Do not use this company unless you want to be completely ripped off.

What can I say except wow.For starters, I am an IT student at Texas Tech, and have worked in a repair shop in the past. As a result I almost never have to turn to a repair shop for any sort of electronic repair.However, one day my microphone broke, and I was unable to fix it due to the tools and skill required to solder on a new connector. For those who arent tech savvy, trust me when I say this is very difficult, and even well seasoned experts can easily get it wrong.So I called the shop, and despite such a request being rather outside their normal business model, they agreed to fix it. With a little trial and error, and the technician taking the time to talk with me about the problem and how to verify that it was indeed working, they were able to successfully finish working on the microphone, and now it works as good as new.I cant begin to say how much I recommend this shop. A lot of electronics shops, especially and including the large corporate chains, have none of the knowledge, ability, training, or skill to do something even remotely close to this.If you are a consumer and youre worried about choosing the right repair shop because you might be ripped off, or have a bad repair experience, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed here. If they can handle such an unusual request this well, they are overqualified to be repairing any of your other electronic needs.I seriously cannot recommend them enough. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs a repair.

Quick reasonable screen repair

Great service and product, all done within the same business day. They were honest and upfront with me about the product and prices. I got an iPhone screen fixed and it looks great. They did tell me the standard fix may have a little bit of a blueish tint to the screen, and thats accurate. The tint is not very noticeable though and I have no issue with it. Overall great business and if I ever need them again, I will definitely go back!

They took about 1 hr 30 minutes to repair my cracked screen. They were nice & helpful, they put a glass screen protector on for me & even installed my case I bought prior to picking up my phone. Everything was working great until the next day. The upper portion of my screen is not sensitive to touch anymore. Be wary of 3rd party screen fixersUPDATE: Thank you so much, Fix in a Zip! I was in T-Mobile last week to get a new prepaid sim card only to discover the sim tray had broken. T-Mobile said Fix in a Zip could probably fix so the T-Mobile rep called over and said, Hey, weve got someone with a Samsung Galaxy 8 and a broken sim tray. Can you fix it? Fix in a Zip said yes but they would need to order the sim tray. That was the extent of the conversation with T-Mobile and Fix in a Zip and they sent me on my way to Fix in a Zip.I left my phone there, returned a few hours later to find that they had successfully removed the broken sim tray but in the process had broken the back of the phone. They let me know they had ordered a replacement and that when I come in to get the new sim tray, they would replace the back.Great, I went this morning and left my phone so the sim tray could be put in phone and the broken back piece replaced. Went back a few hours later, Fix in a Zip returned my phone to me and informed me the the sim reader was working. Yay. Great news. I was happy and they sent me on my way.I leave Fix in a Zip and start walking to my car only to discover the back had been replaced (it was no longer shattered on the bottom) but now it was broken in half in the middle. So I return inside and show them the back has been replaced but now its broken in the middle.Repair folks are gone to lunch so I am told to come back in an hour. Im then told the replacement part (back side of phone) arrived broken (not sure exactly why a broken replacement part was put on my phone and they let me walk out with it). And that they had ordered another replacement part and will replace the back of my Samsung Galaxy 8 again next week when the part comes in.Okay, so I come home wondering why the screen cover was also all messed up. Tried to straighten it, couldnt, so decided just to remove the screen cover.Only to discover now theres a crack in the upper right corner of my screen. Im kind of in shock by now and call Fix in a Zip to tell them this new discovery.Christian put me on hold, came back, and said yea, T-Mobile told Zip in a Fix that the upper right corner of my phone was cracked.What? I went to T-Mobile to get a prepaid sim card, discovered the sim tray was broken. No one at T-Mobile even looked at my phone other than to confirm when I was trying to get the sim card out that the sim tray was broken. The conversation between T-Mobile and Fix in a Zip was only to ask if they could repair the sim tray; nothing else was said.So now my like new Samsung Galaxy 8 has a crack in the screen in the upper right corner, a broken back that they will be replaced a second time next week when they receive another new back (how can I leave my phone there again though?) and on top of all that, the lie about T-Mobile.Baffled, confused, and hurt to say the least.I will be returning to T-Mobile next week to let them know what happened to my phone and about the lie told re: the conversation between Tmobile and fix in a zip.Customer account name at Fix in a Zip: Kelli Reinhardt (as you can see from my Facebook profile page, I live most of the year overseas and have a slightly different name overseas but its one and the same person).

Recently I moved to Lubbock and have had the pleasure of taking my grand daughters phone in for glass replacement. After obtaining my personal information for the service, I was informed I would receive 10 percent discount being a new customer to repair my grand daughters phone. the repair would take approximately 45 minutes. I returned to the shop with in an hour and was told my phone repair was completed. While settling up on my bill, there was a sign posted on a white eraser board informing their customers of a discount (giving back to the community) if you were active military or Law Enforcement. My interest was inquisitive and I asked if this applied to retired Law Enforcement? To my surprise, I learned the discount did apply and my bill was taken care of by the business as they give one free repair away for the week and I was the first. I offered to pay something for the repair but I received a very warm smile and a thank you for your service.I cannot say enough about this business and I am very appreciative for their comment. Customer service, repair done in a timely fashion, staff was helpful, courteous and professional even prior to my surprise. I will be a repeat customer if I am in need of repair. I also noted their charges for repair and found them to be reasonable, after all they are fixing your demise. This place is fantastic. I had dropped my phone in water. It was too badly damaged to repair but they spent HOURS recovering the data for me!! They were able to save over 1,000 photos and videos. This was priceless to me and they didnt charge much to do it. I dropped my new phone in water again 2 days later! :( I took it straight to them. They fixed it right up! A few months later I dropped my phone and the battery stopped working in the phone. I took it to them, ready to buy a new battery. They checked it out and replaced it for FREE! I have had great customer service with them. They have always been very up front with me each time.

Cracked display was replaced and new one works fine. However the touch ID, which always worked perfectly, did not work afterward. I was told that loose screws in my ipad nicked the touch ID causing it to break. I dont buy this. There were no loose screws in my ipad before I took it in.

FiZ replaced an iphone battery for me. They charged exactly what they had quoted and it was done in the time frame promised. Exactly what I needed from them!

I was able to just walk in and they replaced my iPhone battery and cleaned up the speaker in about 15 minutes and total with tax was $53 - great experience

I went to Simply Mac when my iPhone 6 battery needed to be replaced, and three different people told me three different things, and eventually I would have had to ship my phone off for 3-5 business days in order to have the screen and battery replaced. I came to Fix In a Zip on a recommendation from a friend. They replaced the battery and the screen and gave me a new tempered glass screen protector, all in a half-hour. Also, complimentary coffee! And they called me to let me know I had left my scarf. Such a great place! I highly recommend coming here for any of your technological needs--I will certainly be returning.

Over the past few years we have had them repair 3 or 4 screens on our phones. Not cheap but they did a great job and did it quickly. Certainly cheaper than buying a new phone.This week my wifes month old iPhone 6 got dropped in water. We took it to them to fix.They could not fix it which in itself is not the problem as I can fully understand that when you drop an electronic device in water it may ruin it beyond repair. I was upset because they charged us $54 for the service even though they didnt fix it which we were not made aware of. We were under the assumption that if they fixed it we paid and if not we didnt pay.I paid the $54 and left a negative review and the owner personally contacted me within 24 hrs. He explained that on liquid recovery they do charge a fee regardless of if they fix it or not because it is such a complicated process and that normally customers sign a paper acknowledging this when they drop it off but for whatever reason we were not told this and did not see or sign the paper. He offered apologies and to credit back the fee. This is top notch service in my books and I have edited my review to 5 stars. Once he explained the effort they put into the liquid recovery process I completely understand the need to charge a fee even if it it unsuccessful. Our whole misunderstanding was due to the fact we were not made aware of the charge beforehand.

Took my phone in to get the battery replaced, the technicians were friendly and helpful, and had my phone back to me in less than an hour! Its been two weeks now, and I have not had any problems, my phone is charging and holding a charge much better than it was before. I will definitely use these guys again if something else happens to my phone

They are not wearing masks or gloves when interacting with customers. When I asked he just said we just arent. He was not helpful in what was going to fix what wrong with my phone and was mansplaining to me what I already knew was wrong with it. I will not return when they do not respect the health of their customer base.

Brought my phone to get my charge port fixed, they cleaned and tested my phone and all it needed was to be cleaned. Not often do you find this kind of integrity. They did not charge me ! Great company thank you .

Would not recommend for drone repair. Brought my drone to them for repair they said it would be repaired in a week. Two weeks later the drone still has not been repaired. Called the store at 9:00 AM today to talk to the technician. I was told that the technician would not be in until 11AM. Called back at 11:30AM and was told that the technician would not be in until 4PM. Their technician it only part time and works when he feels like working. Asked for the technician to call me the previews week. My call was never returned. Thinking about just going to the store and picking up my drone regardless if it is repaired or not. Be careful where you bring your drone for repair.

Upon paying the full amount for a repair on my screen, I was promised a phone call when the item arrived. A few days passed and I have yet to receive a phone call from anyone there, so I called. I was told my part was defective but another would be ordered. And it would be there by the end of the week. So I graciously wait and go in Monday only to be told it still hasnt arrived and no one knows why. When the defective part was received initially, the shipping on the replacement item should have been expedited! All-around bad customer service, lack of communication, the employees have no idea where anything is. its either terrible employees or bad management either way something needs to change.

Needed a battery replaced in a iPhone 5s. Called around to a few other places and was told they do not work on anything before the 6. Contacted fix in a zip and they said they could replace it that day. I immediately drove to their business and within 25 min of arriving, I was walking out. Price was acceptable. Could have probably done the job myself to save the money, however, being from out of town and here for work, I was not equipped with a back up, in case I messed it up. Left it to the professionals. Battery seems to be doing ok after one day.If phone last one more year, I’ll be ok with the purchase.All in all, FIZ did a fine and quick job.

Took my phone in for a screen repair and it was working fine when I first got it. About 2 hours later is stopped working and completely turned off. Came back in waited 30 min for them to look at it another 40 min for them to try and fix it. Finally they told me that there was internal damage (even though it was working fine before I brought it in). Now I have to pay for a completely new phone:(

Went in to FIZ today and thought that the customer service was great, They gave me an estimated time that it would be ready and had no problem calling me to let me know if needed. Staff was great! Receptionist or front desk person Tyler was also nice and was able to help me and suggest some things that I could place on my phone to protect it after the fix!Price was reasonable and well worth it!! Went in on 1/09 to see about getting the screen replaced on a black Galaxy S7. The only replacement screen Fix In a Zip had on hand was gold, so we agreed to it fine whatever was told itd be ready in 2-3 hours. Get a call later that the screen they had was defective and they would need to order one, since they were going to order it we asked that they order a black one instead of gold so it matches. Was told thats fine and itd be ready 1/12 at the latest. Was not ready until 1/15 and we got a gold screen! Complained about gold screen and was told their vendor is out of the black ones and they dont know when it would be in stock so they just did gold in order for us to get the device back. If we had been informed of this we would not have had them order the screen and would have taken the broken phone somewhere else!

Someone stepped on my phone cracked the whole screen and of course I went to Fix in a Zip to get it fixed... Maybe I should have read all the reviews. I took my 5c and the man at the desk was very nice so points for that. It only took 20 minutes to get my screen replaced. As soon as I got it I noticed my button wasnt working properly and getting stuck. The next day it was working fine. Everything was great until yesterday my screen has a lot of dead pixels and there is random lines up and down my screen. & it seems like its getting worse and worse. VERY FRUSTRATING. Waste of 118$. Very pissed 👎🏼

We are hard on our phones, so we need a frequent flyer card here! Fix in a Zip has always been able to fix the phone glass in a timely manner, at a fair price, and with great communication. In addition, we recently had Philip come to the house to help us set up a home auto-save deal through the Apple Time Capsule. He was amazing! Drove in the snow to get to us, and expertly set up the whole thing, showed us how to do our auto back ups, and was polite, patient, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Fix in a Zip if you have any cell phone, Ipad, tablet issues!

I would give this place more like 5 stars with a little minus. My initial problem was in a MacBook hardware cable; it needed replacement. I also asked for my battery to get replaced. They fixed it really quick, like the same day i could already have my laptop. Everything was fine until I realized that the battery life became even worse than it was before i took it to the shop. After i asked for the battery replacement again they did it for free and now it works great! They also have a great customer service and the place looks neat and clean.

Completely shattered my iPhone 6 and they where able to fix it in about 40 minutes and now it looks brand new. Very helpful and informative. Make sure to ask for a student discount to get 10% off. Definitely will return if I ever have phone problems

Fix in a zip is an excellent place they have worked on many of my devices for my family. We have 3 small children who use their ipads,phones all day and every time I have been there they are very professional, very honest about what the outcome may or may not be but always willing to accept the challenge without hesitation. The staff and management are very knowledgeable and understanding of how important my time is. They get me in and out of their shop quickly or let me know ahead of time if its something that is going to take longer. I cant thank them enough for everything they have done for us even though they know that my family and I are not easy with our devices. I recommend to anyone who is anyone to go and see them with any electronic device. They have superseded any expectations I could ever have. Just want to say thank you to Mike and his staff for being so patient and caring with my family. That kind of customer service is hard to find in this business with so many people only chasing the all mighty dollar!!!

Well, my wifes screen has already cracked and its only been 2 weeks. The manager was great by helping us out after our horrible experience when we first had the screen replaced on her iPhone 6s. Not really happy that the screen has cracked after normal use, not sure why this happened. Her screen has been pretty jicky, sometimes it wont scroll correctly, or the double tap to make an image bigger wont work right. Hopefully we can get this taken care of, but well see...

Just went and picked up my phone from Fix in a Zip. Was quoted $129, but when I picked it up the price was $250! No difference between quoted service and what was actually performed. Apparently you better get your quote on paper because this company has no problem ripping people off.
