Had my vehicle breakdown out of town. It was towed to this shop. We knew it was the fuel pump and told them that. They charged $150 to do a diagnostic, claimed there was no oil in the engine but then also claimed there was oil but it was dark. My oil light/sensor was never on, my car had an oil change just a few months prior and there was no smell of burning oil or signs of leaks. After charging for an engine flush and oil change, the car still did not run. They then determined it was the fuel pump that we had originally told them. Clearly, they hadnt run the diagnostic test previously like they claimed. They were overpriced, difficult to deal with and we kept getting mixed stories when we called the vehicle. They also tried to require many other fluid flush services and work that did not need to be done.

They got my truck in while they were super busy and fixed multiple issues in a timely manner. Very professional customer service, and I really appreciate the transparency and honesty. Hard to find that in a mechanic sometimes. They didn’t rake me over the coals at all. Walked out happy and satisfied. Thanks guys, will definitely be bringing it back next it needs service.

I do not have enough good things to say about Curtis and the entire staff. Being a single woman I have been through the ringer with maintenance shops and trying to take advantage of my little to no knowledge when comes to repairs on my SUV. I had an oil leak and one shop quoted a $2k repair for the leak alone. The prior shop and Scott’s ran the same inspection with the same pictures and the same diagnosis. Curtis was very thorough explaining the repair and when he mentioned the cost my jaw dropped. $700 less for the same repair. Mind you I never mentioned I had a prior inspection done when I brought my SUV in to Scott’s. Enough said regarding that. Also, after the repair was finished Curtis noticed the oil sensor was faulty and explained it was not that way when I brought it in and now under warrant they would replace it for free. Mind you they had to undo all the labor they had done for the original maintenance to repair the leak to install the new sensor. My experience speaks for itself with Curtis at Scott’s in Loveland.

Scotts makes a big difference. Chrissie has spent hours researching old parts for our classic cars. Scotts has fixed mechanical problems that even the Lexus dealerships could not. Brought my car in for the first time yesterday after switching from another local mechanic, who will remain nameless, based on their stance toward masking. Scotts had great reviews and they came through. Not only was Curtis at Scotts masked, he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. Gave me a cost estimate before I had any work done. Had them run a diagnostic test based on what I thought might be a potential problem, and everything came back OK based on their inspection, no repairs necessary. I think that helps build trust when they could have just easily told me I needed to replace X, Y, Z parts for some hundreds of dollars. Very happy with the service and will definitely be bringing our cars back here.

After learning of a fuel leak, I scrambled to find a reliable shop to bring in the Tahoe for repair. We were in town for a few days, and needed to get on the road the next day. Derek and Michael were understanding of the need, and got me in the same day.Customer service was great! They offer free loaner cars while yours is getting work done. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend!

My car had a wobble when I drove the vehicle. I requested an oil change and inspection of the brakes. They said the rotors were warped and charged me 49$ for inspection, which they would not apply to the repairs. They also made suggestions for repairs that were not suggested by the manufacture for another 20k. They did not provide me a copy of the inspection, just a receipt. I took my car to a different repair shop who advised the brakes were at 50% and showed were the inner tire rod was bent causing the vibration when I was braking. Scott’s did not top off fluids or add air to the tires for my oil change. Very disappointed in their honesty and professionalism.

Took my 2011 ram 1500 to this shop after having so.e engine problems, the check engine lite was on so I made an appointment and took it in. After having the vehicle for half a day, they called me and said cylinder 1 was dead and there was damage to the cylinder they needed to replace the engine. What?? So I went by talked to them and after a brief conversation was told that they had done a compression test and found that cylinder 1 had zero compression and that they believed the valve had dropped into the cylinder causing damage. When asked how they determined this, they replied that due to the fact there was zero compression and there were metal fragments in the oil. So I paid them took my vehicle to another shop had the oil changed and had them pull a sample. No fragments in the oil. Imagine that. So I made arrangements to take my vehicle to another shop, where they found the real problem, a broken valve spring. While they had my engine open the other guys recommended some other minor work, that I had them do. All in all a total savings of about $6000 over Scotts. After this experience, I would not recommend Scotts. 👎👎

I have to say I’ve never had a better experience at a mechanic repair shop than I have had with Scott’s!!! Chris was amazing at communicating and keeping me posted on what was going on with my car and the plan of action as well as did everything to make sure it was in my price range and done in a timely manner! I would highly recommend them to anyone for any of your service and repair needs!!

I have been a customer at Scotts in Fort Collins for many years, and recently had an oil change at the Loveland shop. Curtis and Chrissy were amazing and I will be back to this location, since I have moved to Loveland. Scotts Auto never disappoints and the staff are obviously happy to be part of the team!

I want to highly recommend Scotts Loveland Auto Repair. First, they went thru my car entirely after the battery check didnt show why the car had not started twice, leaving me stranded. The battery was just fine, not what was expected. They checked all systems and made sure everything was as it needed to be. I was quoted for the work to be done but when they found nothing, I was not charged! AND, they delivered my car to me which was super nice of them. I was advised to watch certain things on my car in the future to hopefully figure out what is causing the car very periodically to not start. Being a senior citizen, it is always GREAT when people help me out. I HIGHLY recommend Scotts Loveland Auto Repair and their staff. Always polite and helpful!

I would seriously consider taking your vehicle someplace else! Web sites says they do a free inspection, called on the phone some lady says we dont do that here! I said your website has you listed as providing and inspection she said we do not do that here! 3 days later I stopped by the store walked in showed them the phone, suddenly they do inspections made an appointment. Morning of, I got a call that the tire was messed up on the rental vehicle THEY OFFERED ME! They rescheduled, on the rescheduled morning she called and said I could not have the rental because people paying for service needs it! The manager told me i was lying and she didnt say that but she did. Rescheduled for the next day a car was available! They never called.I called to speak with the manager and he said you have to have a 500 bill to get the rental car, I reminded him he offered me the car because you can not wait in person. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, and every single grocery store in town is wall to wall people but I guess the chances of catching a diease 97% of the county does not have is higher in Scotts lobby. There are repair shops that care about its customers this one could care less!

Had a bad O2 sensor. Couldnt fix it myself because I do not have a lift. I had failed emissions which meant that my car had expired registration. When it turned out the part was going to miss the Friday shipment and my car would not be fixed until Monday and I could not drive my car (because of the registration) Chris went out of her way to find me a loaner so that my weekend was saved. I had two important family celebrations to attend and I got to them both because of her diligence. In the end I passed my emissions and the trip to the mechanic did not upset my life in any way and that was due to the fact Chris did not give up but kept looking for solutions to my issue (the fact I could not drive my car because I waited to long to renew emissions wasnt even Scotts Autos fault). My experience was exactly what you hope for when you go to the mechanic.

Mike did an incredible job working on our van when we had troubles while traveling. He understood our need for a quick inspection and repair. He and his team worked with us to get our van fixed quickly so that we could continue to enjoy our vacation! I have taken my Jeep Wrangler here 2 times for an alignment, they are the best in Northern Colorado! I have been all around Loveland and no one compares to them! They listen to all your problems and have amazing staff and technicians! They also print out papers showing before and after the alignment, which no one does! Keep up the good work!

Over the last few years I have used Scott’s Auto 3-4 times for different vehicles. Customer Satisfaction is their top priority. Their staff members in the Loveland and Fort Collins store are extremely professional. Loaner cars are nice also.

I have been struggling with trust and transparency with several different automotive shops around the NoCo area. I had always felt that I was being taken advantage of due to my lack of car knowledge. This was not the case at all with Scott’s Loveland Auto. From the moment I walked through the door I was met with a group of people I knew I could trust. Mike was very helpful in finding out exactly what I needed, and Chris was amazing at updating me on where the car was at and just very pleasant overall. They absolutely went the extra mile for me and even found a part I needed for much lower than expected cost. They won’t rush what needs to be done because quality definitely shines here. I absolutely recommend this place if you too haven’t found your “go to shop”.

I was on vacation and heard that my rear brakes needed replaced. I found Scotts and decided to give them a try. I brought the car in at 7:45 am and was told that they would have to do a diagnostic to confirm it was the brakes that cost $45. This takes about 3 and a half hours from them to do this. They confirm that I did infact need new brake pads and rotors in the back. They quoted me $550 to replace them and I decline to do so. I pick up my car up and discover about 2 miles down the road they had left screwdrivers and other tools in my engine. I bought the parts myself for $120 and replaced in within 2 hours of getting back home. I would not suggest coming to these guys as they will try to rip you off and cause issues by leaving tools in your engine.

Very confusing process. They did service I specifically stated was not nesasary. They charged for a diagnostic test I said no to because I knew I just needed the exhaust replaced. The list suggested was exhaustive. They were politely aggressive. I was greatful I got an appointment because other shops I used were booked out a week. The price stunned me.I am the wrong customer for this shop.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Scott’s since they opened and have never had an issue getting my vehicle in and worked on. Called and let the guys know what was going on and was told to come in per usual. When I arrived the individual at the front desk (not a mechanic) took a look and listen at my truck and told his “master” mechanic what he observed and without even looking at my vehicle the mechanic decided he didn’t want to deal with my vehicle. I have spent a lot of money at Scott’s and have referred friends and family. I will be making sure everyone I’ve referred knows of my most recent experience. My experiences have been that Scott’s offers professional and polite service in a well equipped, multi-bay garage. They took the time to diagnose possible issues and ruled out several unnecessary and costly repairs at no charge for their time in doing so. I am grateful for their assistance and brought my vehicle back for needed work. I’d recommend others give them a try. As a healthcare provider during the Covid 19 pandemic, I was offered a free oil change. They came to my home, picked up my car and then brought it back when they were finished. I didnt have to take it anywhere! When I received the call to go over the details of the oil change, I was informed that I had a transmission leak. I wouldve never known if he hadnt told me. I recently bought in my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado for an engine light check. The problem turned out to be a fuel pump and air sensor. The guys had it back to me in 6hrs even though access and removal is labor intensive. I returned a week later with an engine light again. They immediately took my vehicle back in clean out an old fuel line. I was told that happens sometimes with a new fuel pump installation. I was not charged a dime. They stood by their work! The best thing about Scotts is that their honest. I went to brakes plus and they wanted to charge me 1,000 for new brakes they said I needed because my brake pads were broken in half. Scotts was honest about if I needed new brakes or not and what they recommended for safety. They did an awesome job taking care of my car. Wont go anywhere else but Scotts.

Best experience I’ve ever had getting tires and service. I’ve needed tires for a while, but with a bent rim I’ve been putting it off. I walked into Scott’s in Loveland to inquire and was taken care of right away. Sean the general manager looked at my car and said they could fix the rim and put new tires on my car with an alignment ( I thought I needed one). And they loaned me a nice car for the day to drive. Turns out I didn’t need an alignment and was not charged for one. The shop is clean and the service was impeccable. I will be taking my car there from now on for whatever it needs. Highly highly recommended!!!!

I took my old van in to Scotts get brakes replaced, after there assessment they let me know that no new brakes were needed just need to be adjusted. If you are looking for a shop that are knowledgeable and honest and has good rates Scotts Automotive will be your place. Their shop is well organized and clean. I highly recommend Scotts, when my car broke down they helped me get a discount on towing, got my car up and running the next day, and even brought my car back to me when it was done. These guys are AWESOME. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to them for years (at their FoCo location and now in Loveland). Recently they had to do a big job that required hoisting the engine out. During the process they accidentally damaged the radiator. But here’s the deal - they replaced the entire radiator with a brand new one before I even knew anything had happened. They apologized for the accident but had already fixed it! AMAZING. Big thanks to Robert who is always professional, and also Greg who has always been great.

Worked with Greg Parks back at end of September. I came in late the day before when they were about to close. Told him the problem. He took the car for a test drive and came back and gave me his feedback. He got me an appointment early the next morning. I was sent a text message with pics of my rotors and pics of proper rotors should look like. And he called me minutes later letting me know when the car would be done. Very professional and I love the technology use to keep me informed.

I took my 2016 Volvo in for an alignment at Scott’s new Loveland location. They have a brand shop and alignment machine. The staff, Sean and Greg, were friendly, helpful and made it a pleasant experience. The waiting area was clean and very nice.
