I called triple A when my car wouldn’t start & they sent Eddie with mosbys out to help me. He quickly identified the problem (battery), and replaced it so I could get on my way. He was kind, professional, & fast. He even had some crazy lady hassle him & he maintained his composure and continued to work to replace my battery. 10/10 would recommend.

Driver was very knowledgeable in his job, didnt cause any more damage than what had already happened. He was very courteous. Wasnt a long wait 15-20 minutes.

Joe came out and helped me out with my car, it wasn’t starting for over 2 weeks and we had the possibility of towing it to the auto shop i take it to. Joe came in with alltypes of advice and and super friendly to me and my dad, he started my car right up after about 15 minutes. 10/10 Give Joe a raise

I managed to lock my key fob in my Avis rental car. Avis tried to send out another company to pop the lock, but after two hours that company didnt show. I called AAA and they had Mosbys come out. Derek H showed up within 40 minutes (as promised) and after trying to use the pole to hit the unlock button, pivoted to pushing the ignition button with the pole which turned on the power to the car, and then used the pole to roll down the window to open the door. Brilliant. Highly recommend Mosbys!

Terrible people and inexperienced. Couldnt figure out how to unlock door. Tried to pull my keys out of door. Scratched up my door and are refusing to fix saying damage was already there. Dont ever let these people near your car. They will damage it and leave you with a bill. If I could rate zero starts I would. They ended up unlocking it through back door after being there 30 minutes. I had to have someone else pick up my kids because they took so long. Bad service bad training and manager that told him to lie. Some businesses only care about money and this is one of them.

My daughter and I were on our way home to Lexington when we broke down in Louisville. Ken came out at 330 in the morning with no hesitations. It was too late for him to tow it to Lexington so he towed it to their impound yard for safe keeping over night. He assured me my vehicle would be in good hands. I was coming from out of state and she done everything possible to make it easier for me. If Im ever in Louisville and need a tow it will be Mosbys. I can not recall the young mans name that came here but AAA sent Mosbys to my house as my car wouldnt start. Not only was the technician fast he also gave me some tips and checked to make sure it was only a jump that was needed. I can speak to road side service or towing but for this simple job I was very satisfied.

Heres why I think this establishment is a racket:1. When you vehicle gets towed you are asked to call their number which is operational 24/7. This is the same number that they advertise on the board outside their main office. This number though is NOT theirs but an off-site dispatch that hasnt been given all the information regarding the way Mosbys operates and so they communicate the WRONG information to customers. Mosbys is not accountable for this.2. They charge 25$ per day for impounding your car (excluding the $125 you have to pay to get your car out).What they dont mention is that they operate on a calendar day system. Which means if they impound your car tonight at 9:30 pm and you go to pick up your car tomorrow at 9:30 am. You will be charged $50 because they stored your car for 2 calendar days even though in reality its been about 12 hours. If your car gets impounded on Friday night, god help you, youll be able to pick it up only on Monday (theyre closed for the weekend) and youll be charged for 4 calendar days.3. If you were to have all your belongings in your vehicle and Mosbys towed it at night, there is no way you can get them back until Mosbys opens the next morning. UNLESS its a Friday night, in which case youre screwed because they wont give a damn.4. Everybody I spoke to at Mosbys was just doing their job and didnt seem to have any sense of agency or the ability to listen to logic. This company is a money making scheme designed to make your life as difficult as possible. Yes, when you park in the wrong area you need to face the consequences but Mosbys is a rip off. Pure and simple.

I used Mosby Towing through AAA Friday evening and Monday to transport my Lexus 350 after an accident. I highly recommend! Everyone from dispatch to service was professional and helpful. I hope I don’t need them again, but if I do they’ll be my first call.

My car broke down on a very bad stretch of Dixie, down by 44. I was in a bad spot but Mark got me out of there. He showed up fast, was quick, and I was able to get to work and not miss a days pay because of him. 5* service.

I am member of triple AAA. Had to have my truck towed in July. Mosbys did not secure the wheel on my truck before towing with a belt, and ended up messing up my steering column. Refused to pay for damage. This seems to be a common occurrence with Mosbys causing damage and refusing to pay as seen in other reviews. IF you need your truck towed pick a company where they actually train their employees right.

I witnessed a structured business that appeared to well managed. Dispatchers treated me like I was their only concern for the day. I dont believe they still have a contract with club, hopefully not.The task was take my vehicle to the dealership.Upon getting to the dealership, the driver let the car off flatbed with driver side door open and it slammed into a lamppost in parking lot, wrecking the driver side and door. Now it’s definitely wrecked. It was being towed for a simple issue, the parts department was going to make a new key and I was picking it up after work.Mosley was totally responsible, it’s on the dealership’s surveillance camera what the driver did.When a manager of Mosley gets to dealership 2 days later to look at damage and video, reluctantly admits fault. Upon this declaration, He immediately try’s to make a deal with the parts department. Offers to buy a salvage door if the Dealership will pay half the cost. Who is this Man? You are at fault. I believe He was hoping to find a partner in crime. Fortunately for me, The Parts Manager is honest and told Him absolutely not.I waited until the end of the week for the Manager to call me back after I had left messages with the office at Mosley’s.Frustrated I called the dealership to let them know what was going on since My wrecked car is on their lot. The Parts Manager gave me the mobile phone number the Mosley Manager left with Him. I called Him, surprised to hear from me, He said He had sent an email to the “HOME “ office. I was under the impression they were locally owned.I ask Him to call me when He heard from the HOME office. I have never received a call back, oh, btw, this happened over a year ago.My car was repaired by the dealership and to the best of My knowledge they billed Mosley. The receipt of payment was billed to Mosley and if they didn’t pay in the appropriate time frame the dealership would send it to collections.Honestly, I am surprised they are still in business. It’s the reason I don’t have a membership with AAA because they had a contract with them. I got recovery services through my Insurance Company.I would not recommend them to anyone under in circumstances.SAC

Sat before Mothers day had a blow out on the hiway.....AAA sent out a tech from Mosbys and gave him the wrong location 🤦🏾‍♀️ not only did the gentleman call me but stayed on the phone with me until he found me.....once he got me off the expressway to change my tire we discovered my Battery was dead 🙄 from my sitting with my hazards on. I was did have the proper equipment for a jump because this was a towing call he then called his co worker to have them come and jump my car, did I mention he stayed with me the whole time......I an beyond grateful for the service I received from Mosbys

If I could give them six stars, I would. Mosbys was dispatched as a part of AAA for, orginally, a battery issue. The service was fast, conversation was friendly, and the technician updated me as the repair was going on. It turns out the problem was more than just my battery, and it required a tow. I received excellent customer service from the the tow truck driver, who ended up having to come out in the middle of severe weather. All and all, the experience was some of the best Ive had.

AAA KY sent Mosbys to tow my car after an accident. They arrived within an hour and were very polite and sympathetic. The driver handled my car with care and advised me how to enter the truck with care, as the passenger seat is very high up.

Today I had a blow out tire on my enterprise rent a car the technician that call me Corey Cardwell was very nice apologize to me from the get go Told me he was having problems with enterprise given him a car to bring to me told me not to worry about it that he would get it fixed and be on his way. After a Hour he showed up Was very quick loading and offloading the vehicles got me back inside to do my job I appreciate it man you rock best tow truck driver I have ever seen.

Driver arrived when they said they would and was polite though uninformative. I was sent this company through AAA. AAA had apparently given the local driver a fictitious address and instead of listening to my verbal explanation of which Michael Tires the car needed to go to, he decided to take it to the first Michael tires he saw (8 miles away from where it should have been). I called the company and explained the mistake. They were not willing to do anything so I had to call AAA again to have them send out a new driver to do everything all over again. Avoid this company if possible. Less than helpful to say the least.

I cant speak to the towing arm of the company, but Chris C. was contracted with AAA through Mosbys Towing for Roadside Assistance. He did an amazing job and went above and beyond what I think of as normal service. He filled my tire up with air after I ran over a nail and followed me to a service facility, but when it became apparent that it wasnt going to hold air long enough to get to the repair shop, he was happy to put the spare on. He was a super friendly guy and I recommend his services.

If I could leave 0 I WOULD. I was looking out the window just now and seen a mosbys tow truck. I wanted to gag! not because they were towing my car, but just my experience. A while back they had unlawfully towed my 300c from a church parking lot by my apartment complex. The guy who worked there and towed my vehicle was Brandon and I knew the guy because he towed my car for a guy for drugs. FACTS! My car got towed because I made his friend mad because I wouldnt allow him to cruise around selling drugs in it so then he called Brandon and forged a Reverends name and info who was fake names and such. The church didnt even have one. I also contacted the church and asked them about it where they had no clue what I was talking about. I then asked to see the documents so I could follow up about it where they refused and said it was illegal...so kind of like unlawfully towing my vehicle and forging a signature haha nice one guys! They said I owed them a crazy amount and as soon as I started talking about getting the cops involved they suddenly dropped my price to $100 bucks. I went and paid it because I needed my car but funny how that price dramatically changed if you had nothing to worry about. What kind of establishment is this even?

Brennent was very nice, he works for Jet Towing LLC which is apparently a sister company to this one, and I couldnt find where to review under jet towing, and he was detailed, answered any questions I had and was able to arrive 10 minutes before estimated arrival, and didnt let the rain ruin his attitude or his day. Next time I use AAA I hope I get assistance from him or this company again.

Got my car stuck in the woods over a curb at 3am nonetheless! However, I called and the man on the phones was very nice and understanding, and my tower, Matt, was friendly and helpful. He got my car out with barely a scratch and all it needs from rolling straight over a curb and into a ditch is a front end alignment. Not to mention response time was only a little over 30 minutes!

So today I lock my keys in the car. I call my girlfriend and told her what I have done. She told me not to worry about it that she had AAA. I parked my vehicle by the Wendys on poplar level (we have parked here for years) to meet up and see the lights under Louisville. This used to be a very pleasant and festive experience after thanksgiving but tonight was ruined by my car being towed. Multiple cars were towed. We were only parked there for about an hour. Someone was obviously watching the lot. They put tiny signs on a few posts, which werent noticeable at all. When we returned my car was gone. Of course no one answered the phone and when the driver returned to tow more cars he said they opened at 9. I got ahold of a dispatcher an hour later who said noon. I hope they dont completely destroy my holiday weekend. Glad I drove and not my family from out of state. This is a disgrace to Louisville. Its a setup and I hope they sleep well knowing they have ruined a holiday weekend on thanksgiving. Whoever decided this was a good idea must be a terrible person. Merry Christmas little prick!!!

Driver was empty on Veterans Parkway, but driver cut me off and ran me up on a curb so he could get on I-65.

Incredibly rude staff. When you call, the number isn’t even for the impound and the man who answers should learn better customer service as well as the impound staff. Charged for unessecary reasons. Website should be more specific or staff should be when talking on the phone. Need to know what we need before coming as well as costs. Staff isn’t clear and then when you question it you get horrible attitudes. Avoid this business.

DO NOT use this tow service. Had a car towed to my mechanic today through AAA which sent Mosbys to me. After the driver acted like I was ridiculous for having my car towed he then LIED to AAA telling them that I had a problem and was angry with him turning my key in to the mechanic shop. I never had a problem with turning my key into the shop, I have done this several times on my own. I acted professionally and never raised my voice or anything whatsoever. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

Quick and friendly service

The driver showed up, after having been told he was on his way more than two hours prior to arrival. He was almost assuredly intoxicated. He took my girlfriends ID and told her he would let her know when the car was hooked up and ready to go. Instead, he left without notice, with her key and personal identification. She called him back to our home. After opening the front door, he walked in, uninvited. He gave her back her ID and key and then took payment for the tow and went back to his truck to run her credit card. When he was finished, she met him on the porch, in order to keep him from re-entering the home. He made her feel very uncomfortable and got very close to her when he returned her credit card.It gets better: these guys actually kept her car on their lot for two days instead of taking it to the repair shop. Why? Because AAA gave them an incorrect address. They didnt bother to call AAA or my girlfriend, they just let the car sit in their lot for two days.Caseys response to all of this: 1. Why didnt you call the police on my driver; and 2. This is AAAs fault. I too mimic the comments of a previous poster about this assistant manager or whatever his title is.

Dick Blais was the man who towed my car after my accident and he was very nice and friendly during the whole process. It was the end of his shift and he still was very upbeat and kind!

Im a bit astonished at some of the comments in the reviews, but I also do not park illegally, so maybe thats why they seem out of place.Ive worked with this company through AAA twice over the last few days, and both times their employees were an absolute joy. They were efficient, friendly, and very helpful. My car initially broke down in a busy parking lot on the afternoon of New Years Eve. I had my elderly 65lb dog with me, and seeing a huge flatbed tow truck, (with a very high cab,) pull up caused some concern. The driver, Greg, became my dogs new best friend, and was awesome helping me get him safely home. He also parked my car in such a way that the next tow truck driver would have an easier time loading it to get it to the shop. Not much is open NYE, so I had no idea where Id need to take it, and had it brought home instead.I called AAA this morning to get the car taken to a shop. They sent out two other fellas from Mosbys. The arrival time was *TEN* minutes, (whaaaat?) They were also incredibly friendly, and loaded my car onto the truck bed flawlessly. I feel like an idiot for not remembering the names of the two guys from this morning, even though they told me more than once. One fella was in training, and the other may have been a Viking in disguise. I mentioned getting my dog in and out of the first trucks cab on NYE, and they asked to meet him. My dog made two more friends, and Im pretty sure he wants to adopt your entire company.Thank you, thank you, thank you (!!!) for making what could have been an absolute fiasco into a very pleasant experience!

Locked my keys in the car just before a river cruise in Louisville. Panicked. Called AAA and got Dalton Arnaud from Mosbys Towing. Got there fast. Had my keys and got my river cruise on time. Edit: As it turns out, the company made the decision to be open for a brief period of time on NYE (a Saturday when they are usually closed) due to the fact that they are closing Sunday and Monday. They allowed for pick-ups by appointment (meaning they were trying to schedule if people called so they knew when to be present) for a couple of hours. The woman on the phone wasnt able to tell me my charges off hand (thats okay) but did provide me all other needed information. I am going to assume enough people called and were angry at being told they wouldnt be available until Tuesday. So I appreciate that the company recognized that being closed for three days may be problematic.My vehicle was towed from the Highlands last night, a Friday night. Okay, fine - we parked at a business (that was closed, mind you) that had signs clearly stating the parking lot was for that business alone and vehicles would be towed at owners expense. I am annoyed that they would tow when the business to which the parking lot belonged was closed, but Ill accept that we should have parked elsewhere.We were parked there for under 10 minutes as we did not decide to stay out, so I guess these guys were just lying in wait to tow (though they did not tow the other vehicle parked next to ours). I have never had a vehicle towed before and though I recognized that I probably couldnt do anything about it right at that moment, I called the number on the sign to determine what I need to do. I had not Google searched this company at that time so I was not aware that they are not open on weekends normally. It is a holiday weekend so I had expected some complication. Well the incredibly rude and unprofessional dispatcher informed me that the business is closed until Tuesday. Friday to Tuesday - thats five days at $25 per day when I would have picked it up this morning (Saturday, expecting them to charge $50 for two days). So they will be charging me $125 on top of the flat fee because they are choosing to be closed?

Mosbys was dispatched by AAA when my car broke down. They were there within 30 minutes. The driver called to let me know when he was on the way, when he arrived and then called to let me know my car was safely at the repair spot. He was friendly and courteous. I couldnt have asked for better service.

Zero stars. Absolutely some of the most unprofessional, wrongful &cold hearted people Ive come across in a long while. Must be all ran by millennials. Didnt see a sign, Truck was literally parked for 5min after leaving a grief counseling appointment where we specifically told by the counselor to go somewhere to park for a few minutes and let out emotions before continuing to drive..little did we know wed be paying $140 for something we didnt have a clue about& some very Rude, sad group of workers. Focus on the people who actually PURPOSELY cause WRONGDOING. I do not recommend this company& I believe strongly in what goes around comes around.

6 hours to tow a car 10 miles? Had I read the reviews, I would have never used this company, however, they were hired via AAA. This company let me wait for 3 hours in 90 degree weather, repeatedly telling me, another 30 minutes, and then when the car was towed, it took them another 3 hours to get to the correct location (10 miles away).

I was in an accident on the Watterson on Aug. 20 and AAA sent a Mosbys tow truck to take my crunched up car home. The truck arrived within a half hour (unbelievably fast in my experience) and Herbert, the driver, got my car on the rollback quite efficiently. Herbert also did his best to get me into the passenger seat of the truck, but it couldnt be done. I have bad knees & shoulders and weigh considerably more than a person ought and could not get up onto the first step to get in the truck. Herbert supported me, held me upright, and finally pulled some equipment from under the truck for me to stand on, but I still couldnt manage it. After I finally called a co-worker to come rescue me, he wouldnt leave until I was safely in her car. I am grateful for his calm kindness and patience and hope his boss is aware of how very well Herbert represents Mosbys Towing.

A literal scam. They wont let you get your car on Saturday or Sunday but they will still charge you for those days if its there. They will find every reason to add extra charges. Dont be surprised if your car gets damaged in the process either. Avoid at all cost.

So about 15 minutes ago I drove past a tow truck driver from mosbys in a yellow truck I wanna say the number was 201 on it. He was on to 264 loading up a car. My husband died as a tow truck driver this gentleman was blocking off one lane of traffic to make sure he was safe to load up this car I have to give it to him smart knowledgeable in knew his job in how to keep his life safe mosbys you need more drives like this man. My car broke down last night it was getting dark Im a diabetic was really worried. Addam Turner came to the rescue he was there within about 20 minutes very kind very knowledgeable and very helpful. It was a very good experience. He had me ready to go in no time
