The owner was very nice and helpful. Although our car got towed, ( because of being in a no parking area by our 19 year old ), he went out of his way to help us recover our car. They are closed on Sunday’s but the owner met us there and that was as nice because he did not have to do that. We needed to get our car back for work and it was appreciated that he met us there to recover the car.
They were really nice and came in a timely manner. Definitely would use them if any towing services are needed
I think the reviews speak for themselves. Please just look at the responses they have to people who have paid for their “services”. The fact that these men have no respect or care for how they made people feel. If someone leaves a review with their experience have the decency to respect their reviews. You all make such a bad name for yourselves and you would think with a BUSINESS that you would actually be professional. The disrespect you have shown for people is just outstanding. Customer service is a big part of the business that you are running and the fact you have such terrible customer service is disgusting.
Very professional experience on time clean and professional looking towing rigs top notch service highly recommend
Curtis Towing was amazing, very helpful company and will do the best they can to assist the customer. I recommend them for any type of business. Amanda was very helpful as well.
If no one answers the phone when you get towed, theres no way to confirm your car has been impounded and not stolen. Thanks for that panic. If your business is only open during hours the majority of people are working (when Im already paying extra to get to work, since I dont have a car, and cant afford to miss a day AND pay your exorbitant fees), theres no practical way to get your car.And if youve only had my car for 12 hours, why was there a $25 fee added onto the base minimum charge (according to the sign)? Why post the minimum at all if you automatically add the $25?Just another predatory company looking to make money off of other people struggling. Love to see it.
I’ve tried to call and report cars parked in my assigned spot several times over the last 6 months. Every single time there was no answer & the voicemail prompted me to leave an email. The emails were never followed up with. But, when they get good and ready, they will tow any and everything parked illegally even as quickly as 5 minutes without anyone asking them to.Nobody likes tow company’s, but you can even tell by how they respond to these reviews that they need to practice better customer service and professionalism.
Wasn’t very happy about my car getting towed but they were very polite and professional and caring
I’m sure you can tell if you scroll down on the reviews that this company shows it’s true lack of professionalism through its responses. I really I enjoyed the “thanks” as a reply to one.Earlier tonight I got back to a nice surprise. I had just drove home from vacation and was parking my car for two minutes to unload my luggage, I live in at the trifecta and it is hard to take multiple loads alone, and I was exhausted from the eleven hour car ride. When I got back from running to put my luggage away I saw that I was getting towed. When I tried to explain to the employee he told me that there was nothing that he could do because he already had reported my car and that he could lose his job. Which ok, understandable but why couldn’t there not be a way to be understanding to residents that live here?? I have a parking pass and I was not bothering anyone and I know for a fact that people have parked there before. I know other companies can give warnings and I just think that it would be beneficial for this one to do the same. When I told the man that I had a card to pay ($138) he told me that they do not accept card payments and suggested that I should walk to an atm ten minutes away. To which I replied, you think that I should go on my own at night to get that much money? And he stared. Thankfully I had the money, but I expected him to drive away when I went to get it. By the time I had got back he had called for backup and they were mocking me as I filled out the form. I did not feel safe at all, in fact I felt the opposite. I was in a secluded area with two men who knew they had power over me and my car. When I asked why they needed my information he said “just cause” and if I didn’t fill it out he would take my car, AFTER TAKING MY MONEY. They took $140 and did not give me my change.I have no idea why anyone would hire this company and if I could give it no stars I would. Not only has this situation happened to me, but it has also happened to two of my friends as well as my roommate for reasons that were similar or unnecessary.
Operators are childish and unprofessional. They spend more time leaving nasty replies to negative feedback than they do keeping their doors open so you can retrieve your vehicle.Despite pathetic office hours, (12-2 on Saturdays?? Really?) you’re also expected to make an appointment to pick up your vehicle, or no one will be available to help you, even during business hours.Anyone who partners with this business should be ashamed of themselves.
My friend just had a horrible experience with this company so I thought I would go ahead and share my own. Around the time of Halloween, my friends and I drove to my friend’s apartment complex, the trifecta, to hang out. When we got there, we retrieved the parking pass (which she got from the office that day) from our friend who lives there, and put it on the dash. I’m not sure how or why, but something on the pass hadn’t been filled out by the office. We didn’t think to check the pass because we followed all the rules and took that seriously because obviously….we didn’t want to get towed. Around 1:30 AM, we went to leave the apartment complex. And of course, the car was gone. We were very confused because we did everything we were supposed to do. We found the men who towed my friends car, and we asked why the car had been towed. They explained their side, which made sense, seeing as how they are supposed to tow cars with invalid parking passes/none at all. When we explained that we did have a pass and we didn’t know why it hadn’t been filled out properly and that we had just gotten the pass that day, the man disregarded everything and said “I’ve never seen a pass like that, so you’ll have to pay the fee.” The man was very harsh and rude, when we were being so polite and just trying to understand the situation; however he showed no care or compassion. I believe the fee was 260 or 360, I can’t remember, but it was a lot. He told us we had to walk to withdraw from an ATM, which was a half a mile away in the middle of downtown . Obviously having to do this was super dangerous, as a young teenage female even moreso. It was 2 AM at this point, and I’m walking with my male friend. We’re both terrified, sketchy things happening all over the place. When we got back with the wad of cash, my other two female friends informed me that the men asked them if they wanted a ride to the ATM in their truck (which had no logo or anything to identify who they were, or even a uniform/badge which made things even more uncomfortable and scary). I was shocked because that seemed so predatory. Maybe they were just trying to be nice, but it seemed super odd since the only male friend in our group came with me to walk to the ATM and we had already left. And if they were trying to be nice, why couldn’t they have just shown a little human decency, and instead say that they understood our side, kept the car, yet say that if we cleared it up with the Trifecta and got the office to contact them directly saying it wasn’t out fault, then we could be refunded? Of course it’s an inconvenience to not have your car, but if they were kind and understanding, I would have totally understood and thought highly of them. Eventually, my friend and I got back with the money, and they took the money and drove off. We were left there waiting for the car for 45 minutes, wondering if we had just been scammed/nearly kidnapped. It might seem silly to them, but as 18-19 year olds at 2AM, we were scared, and you never know when it’s in downtown Louisville. Everyone has jobs to do and I bet towing cars in the middle of the night isn’t a fun one. However, there is definitely room for understanding and respect. No matter the job, compassion can always be included, and after seeing all these reviews, I know my friends and I are not the only ones with a scary situation that was handled with little to no compassion. I see a lot of comments from this company wanting to justify their clearly sketchy actions, instead of showing they care enough about their business and the people they interact with to take these comments with a grain of salt, and improve/change the way they do business in the future. Not everything needs to be handled in a petty and rude way, and from the looks of it, it seems that’s the way you do business in many situations. So for the future, it might be nice to be receptive to and welcome feedback, that way you don’t have to spend half of your time on the clock sending out petty messages attacking people who had a bad experience with your business.
Judging by the previous responses to their customers, it seems like this company does not know how to take constructive criticism & spends more time finding quirky defenses for their “audience”. what i will say though, is my experience with this company was one of the worst interactions i’ve ever had with employees ever. i’m usually the kind of person who can get along with anyone, and i never have an issue with an employee who comes off disrespectful, rude, etc. because i always try to keep in mind that they may be struggling with something or simply had a bad day.but now that i’ve recently heard multiple accounts of people who have had similar interactions with these employees, it makes me upset to read the responses being “snarky” and act like they “really did something” with their replies (or if they can’t find a good response when someone calls out their actions, they simply reply “thanks for the input!”). all they are doing is digging a deeper hole in their business with their invalidations of people who genuinely want to feel like they are heard with the issues they’ve had.ANYWAYS. my biggest criticism of this business is the way that i’ve experienced, witnessed, and heard about the way that they’ve treated women. now whoever works for this company, and is reading this review right now, i bet you’re thinking that this is a “stupid” claim, but that just proves my point. because every employee that i’ve met/heard about has been extremely misogynistic/sexist towards the woman who’s car theyre towing. they talk down to you like you’re stupid/brainless, and know that since you’re alone, or it’s late at night, that you have no choice but to listen to them and do what they say, even if they make you uncomfortable. whether it’s proposing that you walk alone to an atm far far down the street downtown at 2 am, or asking to give you a ride in their truck to the tow lot at 2 am once your boyfriend leaves to pick up cash (super creepy offer) or mock/invalidate you because they simply can (since they have your car, so what can you do), it’s obvious that these employees know that they have leverage over us, so they decide to do what they can to take advantage. when my car got towed, i watched two guys arguing with the employees, because they had their car getting towed at the moment, and i watched them scream & yell at the employees until they received their car back, without paying any fees or anything. when i walked to my parking spot and noticed my car had been towed as well, i knew that there was no arguing that could be done in my situation, because these employees would not listen to me the same way they had with the two guys.now, i’m not here complaining about getting my car towed, (even though i had a valid parking pass from that day on my dashboard, the date just wasn’t written on it and they took advantage of that).and NO i’m not saying this one situation proves my point or that every single employee is misogynistic. and NO i’m not saying that every single woman’s experience with this company has been even similar to this. but when i noticed a pattern in mine & others responses, i had to call it out. and this company’s responses don’t really help. a professional business knows how to take constructive criticism. and a professional business doesn’t take advantage of people.my point of this review is: apartment complexes/businesses, do NOT use or hire this business unless you want to receive constant calls from residents/customers who are upset with these employee’s treatment. and also, do you really want to support a business with employees who simply have bad moral? and to CRT employees: do BETTER. it’s one thing to do your job, but it’s another to be a creepy *** who does more than what they need to because they simply can. a car needs to be towed because it’s parked illegally? go do it. that’s your job. but don’t take advantage of people simply for the money, and then mock them for being upset about it/ write a review mocking their discomfort. that makes your business scum.
They were extremely rude and unprofessional.I’ve never seen a company give worse responses to people’s genuine feedback online. How disgusting, I will be taking action on the men who made my friends feel uncomfortable.
We have a huge problem with unauthorized people parking at our business. I called Curtis towing and they were able to come and have the vehicle removed in a timely manner. The office personnel and tow truck drivers are extremely professional and nice. I couldnt ask for a better company to work with. They will for sure be getting all of our business from now on.
Very tereible. They look for opportunities to tow peoples cars so that they can make profit. I left my car with blinkers on and in less than 10 minutes, it got towed. Such a terrible way of making money from people.
The price to get my car out was not great. Like most tow companies, get yo stuff out asap!
Charge an outrageous amount to peoples car on a lot that does not belong to them. Say the fee is $165 right on the lot. When the sign posted show 138. Worst business practice I have ever come across.
Rude staff, predatory operation, criminal prices and impossible office hours.
I live in Trifecta apartments. My roommate parked on the side with her emergency lights on because she wanted to be close to our door because we live all the way down and she was only going to be gone for like 3-5 minutes. After 5 minutes, this company decided to tow her car! She paid for a parking pass just for her to get towed after being there for not even longer than 5 min? Second time, we had our friends stay the night one night and they both had a guest parking pass on the dashboard, still got towed for some reason. Some people have jobs so you all should probably open before noon on Saturdays. I am convinced that this company is simply just trying to get money. $180-$200 is RIDICULOUS to pay for towing. We are students, we don’t have regular jobs like that.
My car was towed from my lot where I lived. My parking pass had fallen off the mirror and was laying in the passenger seat. When I went to pick up my car, I informed them that I lived at the address I was towed from, same address on my license, and it was of no concern. It is especially disappointing and frustrating as I work nights and constantly come home to find random cars parked in spots and then I have to park on the street due to their lack of patrolling the area regularly. The point of living in a place where the towing service is offered is so that I have the comfort of knowing that when I come home from work I will know I have a safe and close place to park and that I won’t have to worry about getting my own car towed from my own lot. This experience has taught me that. Either of those is a guarantee with Curtis towing patrolling my lot.The lady at the counter was pleasant which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. In response to the owner,I’m not blaming you for not seeing my parking pass. I understand that things happen and accidents happen. I am upset as someone who works in customer service at the lack of understanding of a situation where the only thing that put me in the wrong is because my pass was had fallen into the passenger seat. I’m not asking for anything free, just expressing my disappointment in the lack of understanding and empathy in a situation that I paid for where I was not in the wrong.I hope you and your family and employees have a wonderful holiday and enjoy many gifts and benefits from the payment I provided you today for towing my own car from my own home and hang zero cares.
This is the worst towing company I have ever come in contact with. They are disrespectful, rude, and demeaning. I hope to never give them my money again.
Always five stars for CRT.
My tow driver was super nice and went out of his way to take good care of our jeep. When it came time to pay, the office people were super efficient and very kind . I am so glad to find professionals like this at our time of need. This was our first time using them and will not be our last! Thank you to the whole crew for taking care of us!
Had to have our truck towed this morning. My insurance called and this was who did the towing. Excellent service. Was here in good time, very nice gentleman named bill that helped us out. Called to let me know when he was on the way. No complaints at all. Will definitely use again if needed also highly recommend. Ty
Gave me a call when the driver was in route. Quick hookup and drop. Dropped the car inside the dealership. If I need a local wrecker, Ill use them. Flat rate no milage added in
My insurance used them to tow my car. I called to discuss the pick up Lewis said I needed to pay the impound before they picked it up. I did and they never picked up the car and said they did. DO NOT USE THEM! He’s rude and said he didn’t care!!
Vehicle was towed for parking illegally Saturday evening (obviously my fault, not the tow companys fault). Im leaving the one-star review because I have called twice this Monday morning after 9AM, but there is no answer. Id like to speak with someone at the business to make sure I bring whatever is needed to have my car released.I will update this if/when I make contact.I was able to reach someone on the phone at 9:30. Everything was smooth after that. Car was in the same condition as when it was towed.
Best roadside service in the state of Kentucky. I would recommend Curtis roadside to anyone. They are there quick . Great at what they do, and very helpful. Reasonable rates too!!! Great management u wont be disappointed!
Curtis roadside provides top notch service!!!! My familys experience was nothing short of amazing. Prompt and thorough service truly makes the customer feel appreciated. Our technicians not only ensured our vehicle made it to the right place but it was also a priority that my family made it home safe. If youre looking for technicians who are excellent at their craft and timely service Curtis roadside is the company to call!!!!
Great experience with the company. Was well aware on situations that could lead for a request of a tow an which equipment an truck needed for the job. Would highly recommend time frame given from tow that was received before my call to me was very close an was actually sooner. An reasonable prices an below most with better service.
I recommend these guys for sure.A few weeks ago Curtis Roadside helped me when I was locked out of my car in Clifton. They were friendly, had good communication, came quickly, had a good price and got a receipt instantly over text.A couple of weeks later I called for help with my other car and and was equally satisfied. Two thumbs up.
My brother had his car towed (his fault for parking illegally). The lady at the front was very pleasant and very understanding, she worked with me and my brother to get his car released before they closed. If I had to chose a company to tow my car it would be this company but lets face it nobody wants their car towed ! I give 5 stars for excellent service. Thank you Curtis Roadside and Towing for working with me and getting my brothers car back !!
After calling 6 other towing companies late at night, Curtis Roadside & Towing was the first to pick up and was happy to help me out. They quickly got a truck out to my location and took great care of my delicate show car. The driver was friendly, passionate, and experienced.I highly recommend them, and will definitely use them for future roadside assistance or towing needs!
First let me say that my 19 yr old daughter was in the wrong for parking illegally. That being said, she got her car towed from Taco Bell. She had no ideal where her car was because the number on the sign was wrong. When we finally got to Curtis Towing, the lady up front was pleasant and my daughter was able to get her car back fairly fast after paying 165.00 in cash. The kicker is that 4 days later, she parked at McDonalds where she was planning to eat lunch. She walked away from her car in a different direction then the restaurant. She was gone maybe 4 minutes, when some guy tells her do not to move, dont you go anywhere. She was in her car with it started, when this gentleman proceeded to put a boot on her car. Of course she calls me in a panic, wondering if these people are following her. This man (I would give you his name but he refused to give it to me and told me the owners name is on the paperwork) told my daughter she could go get a $140.00 cash out of an ATM and he would take the boot off. I have talked to several people in various government offices who say that this was unlawful detainment. I would like my $140.00 back because you missed the chance to tow her when she beat you to her car. Again I am not disputing the fact that at Taco Bell they had every right to tow her. The guy who put the boot on told her they have spotters everywhere just waiting for someone to walk away from their care so they can tow it. Sounds like entrapment to me?Let me clarify, I did not say detaining her vehicle was against the law. I said not letting her leave before you guy got the boot on was. That is neither here or there. Appreciate your response.
Was only parked at a lot for no less then 3minutes and they tried to tow it away but I came outside before they had a chance to get it up on the truck and they still charged me $200. The guy was literally watching cars pull in and towing them as soon as the person would walk in the house smh
Clearly a predatory towing operation. I was parked at a business outside of operating hours and when I realized my car had been towed there was no one to answer my call on their phone line and their inbox was full. After taking an uber to retrieve my car I was informed by a rude and unhelpful truck driver that my car was not at the address listed on signage and I would not be able to retrieve my car to get home. If youre going to tow people at odd hours of the morning on weekends, you should have someone staffed to release cars during tow operating hours so that people can retrieve their cars in a timely manner.
Curtis roadside and towing has help me out a great deal. Thank you guys so much. Highly recommend
Went to my cousins apartment to drop Him off wasn’t there 15 min and I come out and my cars gone I call the place to get my car the woman was very rude and not understanding at all on the phone. She said they could have someone come out with my car if I had $165 I told them I do have it but my money is in my car. When they arrived they got here without my car in site the lady called me back and informed me that the guy was there in a gmc she had asked me to give him the money when I came down to explain to him that the money was in my car and that I couldn’t pay him without my car being there he began to get angry and even tried to step up to me and Try to fight me and said that everything is on camera I told him to go ahead and hit me if everything is on camera. Long story short place is very unprofessional.
Steve was very quick to arrive (even during rush hour traffic), courteous and handled my vehicle with care. Great rates and exemplary service! I will recommend him(them) to anyone I know and he will be my first call if I ever need a tow in the future. Seamless experience in a stressful situation, you wont be disappointed.
Parked at chipotle tonight and a nice man offered to watch my car while i walked across the street to find my brother. He spoke into his radio and said, we have a car sitting at chipotle..... When i came back the same guy was helping the tow truck load my daily driver. He is apparently an employee and tricked me into parking here. So furious right now yall are mean.
Just in response to Stephen Curtis, I just wanted to touch on the ethics of towing vehicles who may or may not be “illegally” parked in empty parking lots. I know it is only business to tow companies like yourself and you most likely do not care of the situations the vehicle owners may be in. But at the very least, I urge you to reconsider the outrageous price of $165 to retrieve a vehicle that was essentially stolen from the owner. Seeing that with most company’s charge somewhere around $75 to simply tow a car when requested by the owner. When some vehicles you all steal may hold a life saving medication that is to be taken at a scheduled time every morning and it is being withheld from the owner, I don’t see how the $165 was worth potential life endangerment. Once again, I know tow companies can be and usually are unsympathetic of situations but I again urge to lower the price to retrieve seeing that a simple $35 parking ticket won’t suffice. Thank you.
Only company I know that works after its buisness hours. And tows your car. How is it a buisness is running after hrs idk. I dont even see 24hr service on ya site. So my only question is if u closed how u removing peoples cars????
Curtis Roadside and towing are second to none in customer service, as well as punctuality. You never have to worried about being stranded when you have these guys in your corner. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!
Daughters vw had a frozen pulley and Steven took care of getting her car towed to the dealership. Kept me informed as well as her. Great customer service and very friendly
My car was towed for illegal parking. I called and was given all l the information I needed to come and pick up my vehicle. The staff and owner was very nice and friendly and went above and beyond to help me get everything I needed to get my car released to me. Thanks for everything.
Didn’t have any car troubles until after my car was towed here. I really believe you damaged my car.
Top notch operation! Stephen and his crew go above and beyond for their customers and will facilitate all your towing and roadside assistance needs . Any negative feedback through these reviews is strictly the product of individuals who have never learned accountability. Park illegally, get towed; simple concept. Beyond that, if you need Curtis Roadside and Towing to get you out of any highway or backroad mishap, they won’t disappoint you. 5 stars!
Dark, empty lot well after hours to drop off Birthday presents, car is immediately towed windows open and its raining. I guess your hours on the website would be a bad thing. Thanks team.EDIT: Original review rating was 1/5 stars due to the complete lack of hours of operation on the business website or business contact phone number. Following interaction with the business owner, hours are clearly listed on the business website. I appreciate customer feedback being taken seriously, as scrambling over a holiday weekend wondering what time to arrange pick-up was not a good experience. For this reason, I have changed the review to 4/5 stars.
Called this company to come transport my VERY sentimental show car for me. Let me tell you: I could NOT be any happier!! Ive had other companies tow this car to/from car shows, & to the mechanic...& they have NEVER come as close to customer satisfaction as Curtis Roadside has!!No rubs, to scraping, no anything...all while being fast/efficient!! I will NEVER call anyone else!! The truck driver was cool, the attention to detail was top-notch, & the price was more than fair!! A++++
This company has an outstanding owner. He took the time out to straighten out a miscommunication that caused for me to have a very bad biased opinion of his business to begin with. He took the time out of his day to call me explain what had happened and even offered to show me what was actually communicated between him as the service provider and the company contracting him to my job. It takes a person that is whole heartedly committed to making sure his customers are satisfied to reach out and try to reason with anyone to get to the bottom of things and try to correct the issue. Curtis Roadside & Towing can have my business anytime and will definitely be the first people I recommend if anyone needs any services. Sorry about the misunderstanding but thanks for bringing clarity to the situation.
This company is a scam. Do not spend your money with them. Im missing all the wrapped preaents from my car after being towed. Completely unfair
I locked myself out of my car twice in 3 days. They were there to help in less than 20 minutes. Great service, great prices. I highly recommend this towing company!!
Great company that are stand-up people, running a family type business. Highly recommend and will most definitely use in the future.
Extremely busy but they work it out great!
They where on point I have 0 complaints. Dino was my towman and he was great... Thank you very much for your service.
Wonderful service! They were speedy, professional, and made a very stressful situation more comfortable. These are quality people who gave outstanding service!
Despite how we met - they towed our rental car - we could not have asked for a better experience getting it back! They handled the situation professionally and with good humor and got us back on the road quickly.
Very bad business don’t use
Getting my car out was a breeze, everyone there is super friendly and I got my car in less than 10 minutes and i was on my way. The car was exactly how I had it, thanks again.
Best price? over $150 for a towed car and they wouldnt open that day they towed it or the next day but we had to pay the expense for it. Ignorance.
We have used Curtis Roadside for a while now, and we are extremely pleased with their services. The crew there is amazing! I would highly recommend their services!!
The people who work here offer terrible communication and the owner will harass you if you leave a review about it, which is why I am now writing a google review to warn people looking for a towing service. Would not recommend, you can find a cheaper and friendlier business elsewhere.
I went to pick up my car and walked up to the gate. As soon as I got there the owner, Stephen Curtis, asks Are you Xavier. I had written a review earlier and I guess he looked up my name. He didnt like what I wrote so he immediately starts harassing me and cussing me out for it.The owner legitimately looked up my name and remembered my face because I wrote him a bad review. Avoid this man and his business at all costs.
I was comming out of taco bell and these ppl were towing my friends car. We were inside for 3 minutes. Wow. You guys are extremely rude
Was frustrated that I was unable to reach Curtis towing for a tow. After some time they were able to reach me back and mentioned that thier phones had had issues. While my issue had been resolved in that time their follow through and care on my need will make me strongly consider them in the future
They stayed open after they closed for me to get my car and didnt charge me an extra day of storage. Great friendly people
There great the walk through process is really smooth thanks soo much
I would highly recommend Curtis Roadside & Towing. My keys got locked in the car and within 30 minutes they arrived and unlocked our car within seconds. Rickey was very polite and professional. Thanks Curtis Roadside & Towing!!! I will be calling you for all my towing and roadside needs.
This is the best towing service I have ever had! Fast, friendly service and I was taken care of. I highly recommend using Curtis towing!
Who tows a car on Saturday at 2:30, closes at 3 and wont release until Monday 9-4. Normal working hours are 8-5 for people. Especially now that you have taken their car. What a disservice. Not all towing people are ignorant, however, this one is a nightmare.
I would like to say I 100% understand these people are just doing their jobs, and that is why I gave them 2 stars. However, many things about their company were extremely shady to my friends and I.Saturday night we went out to Bardstown road to find some Lime scooters to ride around on. As there was no parking on the road, we saw people parked in the Chipotle parking lot (which was closed) and figured it was okay to park there after hours. Upon finishing our ride (which was less than 30 minutes long), we headed back to my friend’s car, only to find the parking lot we parked in completely empty, and a towing truck with another person’s car on it. We walked up to the operator of the truck, and my friend (who was on the verge of tears) asked if he had taken her car. The man only asked for the model of the car, and nothing else. He did not ask for any sort of identification, or license plate number. When she asked how much it would be to get her car back, he said $165 and that was it. End of discussion. He did not provide any sort of information about the company, or a written notice informing my friend of how to get her car back. We then had to chase him down from the Chipotle parking lot to the Taco Bell parking lot in order to get more information. He then told us that he would meet us at the Speedway on the corner for my friend to get cash to pay him. No less than 5 minutes later, we had the cash, and he pulled up with her car. During this exchange at speedway, the owner of the company pulls up with a woman in the passenger seat. All in all, it was an extremely shady exchange in the speedway parking lot. Later, my friends looked up how long it should have taken the company to bring her car back, and discovered it is a 16 minute drive from the impound lot to speedway, yet they were there in no more than 10 minutes, which would include driving to the lot, loading the car, and driving back. I don’t know if they have a special parking lot they take the cars to to hide them from the owners, but this seemed super sketchy. Also, in the Chipotle parking lot where all of these cars were parked, there ARE a few signs posted about this towing company, but they are not posted at the entrance which is where my friend parked. I took pictures of the parking lot and signs, and you can see that there are no signs near the front of the parking lot where we were parked.I plan on contacting the company and law enforcement to discuss these circumstances. I would not describe the guy towing the vehicles as rude, but I also would definitely not describe him as helpful.
I’m sorry, but to be charged $165 for them to lower a truck from the hitch to the ground because my friend stepped away from the truck for literally 2 minutes is not right. I guess greed has no compassion.
How can you take people’s cars on a Saturday but be closed on a Sunday???? Makes no absolute sense
Hard to get ahold of. reports 1 star reviews of paying customers to make himself look better.
The best of all timeNo waiting
Steven was very quick to arrive, friendly, and was a pro at his job. He made a sour experience alot better. Id call them again in a heartbeat.
The workers were helpful and friendly, the cost was reasonable, and the service was speedy. I would recommend this company to anyone in a bind without a second thought, and I would use them again in a heartbeat!
Quick, professional and affordable. If you are looking for any kind of roadside assistance or towing look no further!!
I came to get my car within business hours and they were closed. Treated me very unprofessionally and tried to charge me and EXTRA DAY because they closed early as if it were my fault.
I want to thank my dispatcher, Rickey, for providing me with excellent and expedient service. I will definitely use your company for future roadside assistance.
Great tow company had my truck impound bc I didnt read a sign that clearly da said no parking went to there tow lot very clean and professional u will add the lady was very nice I paid got my truck out and learned I need take uber will call them curtis towing for all my break downs and will recommend them to anyone that needs help
Called 5 other companies on a Monday at 6pm. Curtiss was the only one to answer. Driver was personable, polite, and quick. 10/10 would use again.
A business owner should never threaten to fight someone at his place of business, much less someone paying $170.
They have the best deal in town!!! Super time efficient and very professional.
Great service, fast, cheap. Will definitely use again.
Super friendly, tow truck smelled good (lol), owner was very nice + gave us free pens + keychains, great low price
I literally just got towed outside my apartment complex where there are no signs that I can not park right there !
Me and my room mate both got towed and we have the same exact car and it was the same length of time and we paid two different prices which I think was a little odd.
Excellent people to work with, good communication, and really nice equipment!
Called multiple tow services for a quote (1.2 mile tow.) Curtis Roadside & Towing had the best price, was quick and curtious.
Very nice, super friendly, very professional, quick to get the job done. Deff my #1 Go To now!

Needed one of our company vehicles towed today after a accident. Called their office at 2:18, they had a truck there at 2:43. Can’t ask for any better service than that. I would highly recommend them
Called to get my car towed last week they said an hour and 2 1/2 hours later they stopped answering and never showed
