This was my first time getting my nails done professionally and I went with a dip manicure. So happy I came here! Lily did my nails perfectly. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Great experience!!! Sophia did an amazing job on my pedicure. Kevin the manager had a great personality very funny he did my nails l got Coffin nails with white tips, I like to keep it simple. And you get your file kit for when you come back. I will definitely be telling my friends and family about Highland nails.

Love this place. Came here with 4 others without appointments and we were taken care of quickly. Annie was very gentle and did a great job! Super sterile! You take a QR code to view the colors on your phone, everyone is required to wash hands as soon as they enter. There is a $2 charge for your own manicure kit that you can bring back with you so nothing is reused. Plastic partitions to keep a safe distance. I was very very happy!!

I cannot believe how wonderful my nails look. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but the man who did my nails made sure I was happy. He even put his own spin on them and made it even more creative. I freaking love my nails, I just keep staring at them.

I was there less then a week ago and got gel polish on nails. The polish chipped in less then 3 days. The jewelry came off. I work so was unable to call them right away so when I did call them 5 days later to see if I could get them polishes over, I was told by the owner that he can’t guarantee that the polish stay on. But when they are taking your money, they assure you your polish will stay on for weeks. Totally unprofessional. I spent over a hundred dollars for my service. I will never be back

I have been to multiple different Nail places around the Louisville area and this place has treated me the best! They are very quick with their service and they always make sure you are satisfied. Plus, their prices are very affordable for college students like me! The team always makes sure to take care of you!

First time at Highland nails was great experience, Joe was my nail tech, he was fast, professional and highly skilled. The interior is very clean, chic and has a good selection of polish colors. Weeks after my appointment my no chip mani still looks great. If you sit in Joes chair ask him about his 3 pet chicken and 2 ducks! :)

I have never had a gel manicure last this long! Still going strong after 2.5 weeks. Annie did such a great job, was very meticulous and patient when I accidentally messed my thumb up! There was a line right when they opened but it was so worth the wait - and honestly a sign that it’s a great place when there’s a line when it opens!

Both times I have visited they’ve done a fantastic job. They were willing to tackle the design I wanted and it looked great! Highly recommend :-)

A very sanitary and covid safe place. I had Tony and I showed him a picture of what I wanted and that is exactly what I got. He was also very upfront about how much it would cost to get the nails. I went there with four of my friends and we did not have appointments but we were attended to very quickly. We all love our nails and will be going back. This is the best nail salon I’ve been to and I highly recommend.

I called and was told I could just walk in. No appointment neededNobody actually greets you here. You have to figure out on your own that you sign in on an electronic pad with your name and phone number .I signed in and waited almost 20 minutes.No human interaction.I gave up.Walk down to the neighboring salon which is smaller but friendly.

My natural nails are ruined! A good friend treated me today to a gel manicure. I had ombre dip powder on my natural nails that needed to be removed. Three different men worked on my nails. I explained to each person that those were my nails under the thick dip powder, because they were being to aggressive with the nail drill and files, and asking me if it was acrylic. I had thick, nice healthy beautiful nails! The dip powder on my nails was several layers thick as well! Now I have paper thin, bending, razor sharp things on the tips of my fingers! I am sure they will break easily too. My nails are my pride, and Im so heartbroken. My friend deserves a refund. Will never return.

I absolutely love going to highland nails. The staff is always friendly and do a great job. Making an appointment ensures that I am seen promptly upon arrival. Their color selection is limitless! I have never had a bad experience and have been more than thrilled with every service that they have provided from manicures, pedicures, acrylics and eyebrow waxing. They have definitely earned my repeated business.

I was visiting the city and went to Highland Nails based on the good reviews on Google and they did not disappoint! We were greeted when we walked in and promptly after signing in, we were able to receive our pedicures with no wait time. Leo did a great job and I felt very comfortable! The salon was clean and very professional. The atmosphere was relaxing.

Though the place is clean and the employees are nice. My nail dip manicure took the gentleman 15 mins. He did not clean my nailbed, or cut my nails. He didn’t take him time doing my nails, he missed some parts. Basically, all he did was file them and put the dip on. No lotion massage like at other places. I paid $38 plus $5 tip, for a manicure that I could’ve done at home. The place was packed, so I think that’s why he rushed through it. Unfortunately, I will never go back. I would honestly, would love have my money back.

I went yesterday with my friend & brought my daughter with me. I waited for literally an hour & then the manager basically asked me if we could take turns sitting with my daughter. I was fine with it, because my daughter was screaming here & there, literally happy screams though. So I understood by then. But then she did a last scream after he said that it was really loud & the manager talks to us through his customer nails hes doing & says see... that hit a nerve right there. Because shes a baby & cant control it.... if you dont want kids. Put a note on your door. Im mad we wasted a whole hour waiting. Thats what really made me mad.

Mai worked with me when I came in. She was amazing. I felt like I was her only focus during my time here. I got both a pedicure and a gel manicure.I initially came in for a pedicure and acrylics but she advised me against it because I already had really strong, long nails. I loved that she gave me that option and her opinion.The pedicure was AMAZING, best Ive ever had. I already cant wait to go back!

BEST nail salon around! I had recently went to a nail salon that I had never been to on Berry Boulevard ( I usually go to Highland nails) and the man charged me $55 and did a really bad job on my nails! I got my nails done on Saturday and they had looked so bad, Thursday I went to Highland Nails to get them fixed and they completely transformed my nails from horrible to really CUTE lolPlus all the people who work there are extremely friendly and professional! All around great place!

First time using this nail salon, heard good things about the salon, I was a walk in and only 2 people ahead of me, and I waited almost 2 hrs to be seen, once I was seated other people walked in and they didnt have to wait, I got just the traditional acrylic powder nails and Charged me $60, when the pricing menu showed different, and I waited patiently to be seen, you would think they would of gave me a discount and they couldnt explain to me why the price was so high never again.

I’ve been going here for several years. I even moved out of the area and still come back here. I love it and I love the service.

I went with my daughter for manis and pedis. They split us up and did my daughters pedi while they did my mani, then put my feet and water and totally ignored me for over 20 minutes, so I just got up myself. When a mother and daughter, or a couple go for pedi, they should keep them together.

Got a pedicure here. I showed up right when they opened on a Monday so they werent busy at the time. When I left though, they already had 4 clients in spa chairs. The nail was very polite and thorough. She talked to me about manicure options but wasnt pushy. I appreciated that.

The salon is very clean, the staff nice. I was visiting the town for a few days and wanted to get gels. They squeezed me in despite being busy, which I was very happy about. The lady doing my nails was extremely polite, but did not listen to what I wanted. She told me the current length of my natural nail is nice and I should keep my natural nails. I kept trying to tell her I wanted gels. I was okay with natural nails so I went with it. The quality of the manicure however was mediocre at best. She did not go all the way to the root, leaving them as if they were growing out. After a few days my nails look like I need a new manicure asap. I liked the place but would not go back.

Self checkin and nail color matching, they also sale you peesonal files that you keep for each use. Very clean professional salon.

I always love coming here. I love the way my nails are always done. I dont like to complain but I dont agree with the cash only tips. Im sure they have their reasons but my local banks atm was out of order, and I had to use theirs where Ill probably get charged a fee again, even though they claim theres no fee. Its just really inconvenient to think about getting cash out when you dont usually carry it.

Will not go back. i have been a regular customer for a while, and normally they do such a great job. but the last time i got my nails done i paid extra for my nails to be long, which is fine because that’s normal for how long i get my nails however this time i realized that they were almost 2 inches shorter than i am used to also they were crooked, and i had to pull acrylic out from underneath my nails all day. i’m not usually a person that goes back but i just did not get what i paid for. when i went back they told me i would have to pay extra money AGAIN for long nails. i felt really uncomfortable so i just won’t be going back.

The establishment is incredibly clean, very precarious with everything covid and the staff is incredible friendly!! I got exactly what i wanted for my nails!! Will be coming back!!

Ive never had a bad experience here. It’s clean, employees are nice and the staff is accommodating. Parking can be rough sometimes, but other than that, I have no complaints.Mai and Lily are the best for manis, pedis, gel and dip. Kevin, the Owner, and his wife go out of their way to accommodate clients. I don’t get acrylic anymore, but when I did, Kevin was my go-to for that.

Great selection. Welcoming staff. You can tell they really care about their craft. Kevin was very efficient and had great attention to detail. Walked in with my nails looking a hot mess and walked out feeling fresh to death. Just a heads up they take their last client at 7:30pm.

I usually don’t leave reviews. However, I really appreciated Mai’s work. I went in for a gel manicure and her work was perfect. I was also very impressed at how fast she completed it! I have had past experiences at other nail salons in bardstown rd but I would say this one was one of the best.

I had a wonderful experience today at highland nails. They were so polite and they did a fantastic job on my nails. They focused on what they were doing and made sure I was happy with the results. I will most certainly be going back to have my nails done by them again.

I went here on a whim about a week and a half ago as a walk-in. I was VERY pleased that they took me right away and did my nails exactly as I had asked. Long story short they looked great, I got tons of compliments and all was well. Fast forward to today, not one but 5 have cracked and fallen off during my normal everyday activities. My usual dip manicures last me 3+ weeks and this one only lasted ONE not to mention my nails are RUINED. My nails have been pulled up from my nail bed and are super sensitive. I was really hoping that this would be my new backup salon as my normal nail tech only works Thursday-Saturday. I’m now scared to go get them done somewhere else as my real nails are so messed up I fear they may fall off...UPDATE: I went back to them and asked them to refund me and soak them off or give me credit so that I could try the salon again once my nails grew back. They were very rude and not at all understanding. He said it was my fault my actual finger nails are falling off and that he couldn’t do anything for me. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I don’t get my nails done a lot, so this was my first time going to this place. I really enjoyed it! You can tell that the workers care about a good customer experience and that the costumers like what they get. I live close by, so when I do get my nails done, this is the place I will go!
