Jim’s barber shop is an excellent example of your classic, family owned and operated, local, barbershop. Steve has obviously been cutting hair gift along time. He’s good at what he does and just seems to be an all around great guy.I’ve only had my hair cut at Jim’s once, but after seeing how good of a job he does, how great of a guy he is, and the number of compliments I get on my haircuts, I will for sure be a returning customer.You can’t go wrong getting a haircut from Jim’s!

There is something to be said for a classic barber shop, I had my first haircut with Jim today and left impressed. He said he has over 20 years of experience and it showed as he delivered the desired cut swiftly and deftly like an experienced barber should. I can easily say it was the best haircut Ive gotten since moving to Louisville from Chicago. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a no-frills, skilled, classic barber shop.

Great little barber shop!

I started going to this barbershop as a kid when Jim was still alive. Years later after dealing with places claiming to be barbershops I decided that I needed to visit Jims again and catch up with Steve. Ive enjoyed sharing a part of my past with my boys and catching up with Steve again.

A very long time customer here. Steve & Amanda run a hometown friendly shop. They greet every customer by name upon entering the door. I doubt youll find this at the the other middletown barbers. Under the current virus orders, appointments are encouraged. Perfect quality cut every time. Wait times were usually under 30min. when walk-ins were Okd. I encounter a reason to tip at every visit. Still want them to offer: children 85 and older get special cut when accompanied by their parent. lol.
