My husband surprised me with an impromptu visit to Oxmoor Hyundai to look at the Hyundai Palisade that I had been talking about for months. When we arrived on the lot, the salesmen did not meet us at our current vehicle like vultures to try and sell us a new one. I enjoyed that we were able to look for a minute and get settled in before being approached. Kirby was our salesperson and he did a wonderful job. He was very professional and super friendly. Since it was more of an impromptu visit, we had our kiddos with us. Kirby let our kids play with some small cars he had on his desk during the process. This helped keep them entertained. He even pulled up a YouTube video one of my kiddos wanted to see while we were taking care of financing. I would definitely say he is the best car salesperson Ive worked with to date! We did not feel like he was being pushy like a lot of sales people can be when trying to make a sale. Other staff in the building were also very polite and nice during our time there.
Lacey is an exceptional human being who did a fantastic job making sure to communicate all the details. The dealership provided me with an excellent loaner vehicle. The service provided was well and truly worth the wait time!
WARNING do not do business with this dealership!! No one at this place has any clue what is going on. They completely listed the price of one of their vehicles wrong. Before leaving to drive 3 hrs I called and double checked the car was still in inventory and was indeed the price stated on the internet they confirmed it was in inventory and that the price listed was accurate. They text me the physical address I even confirmed that when I arrive I just need to check in and ask for Shelby she confirmed yes. We made the 3 hour drive only to find out that the price listed as a mistake and the best they could do was $7000.00 over the advertised price. We will be buying a car just not from this dealership. I suggest NO ONE travels to purchase a vehicle. You can call and text to confirm accuracy and when you arrive learn something completely different.

The salesmen were pleasant enough. However, being told your car has been cleaned top to bottom and leaving with a new lease to find a pair of old tweezers and a pile of ashes under your seats might leave a bad taste in your mouth too. We could tell the car hadn’t been detailed because there was still dust covering the outside. I was willing to overlook that until we found the aforementioned items. There is no excuse for this level of oversight given so many employees with idle time on the lot.

We called ahead and asked if they had a 2022 Tucson Hybrid SLE Convenience. They said that there were three and two of them had been sold. We replied that we would be there within an hour to get the other one. When we got there we were warmly welcomed by Don who knew how quick this process needed to be for us because it was before my shift and we had our almost-2-year-old with us who can be unforgiving when boredom hits. Don got us in and out without any speed bumps. The price we asked for was straight to the point and nothing ridiculous—they accepted our offer and slight increase of our trade-in. We left with a great deal on our Tucson and are content with our experience. It was worth the 2 hour round trip drive to have the treatment we had today. Keep it up, Oxmoor! We will be back to see Don from now on.
I’ve been to this Hyundai dealership several times and I always enjoy the hospitality of Hailey, in service. Although the hospitality is exceptional the service needs to be updated tremendously. I came in just for a oil change and I very much understand being busy but an oil change should not be taking me a hour and a half wait time. It seems to be a regular issue with wait times, the lady in front of me waited almost two hours for just a oil change and it’s just not understanding where all this wait comes from. Having worked in a car garage a simple oil change and tire rotation can be done in less then 30 minutes, with that being said the time management of the individuals either working on set vehicles is unacceptable or maybe just scheduling too many appointments at once needs to be adjusted.

Took my car in a few weeks ago to get repaired. This whole time I have had to contact them to get any updates. I understand the issues theyre having with getting parts, but leaving your client in the dark this whole time is not good. If your service people dont have time to contact and update clients, perhaps you should look into hiring someone to do so. Im now looking at a month without a car, no way to work, and not offered anything to help. Next time my car needs service done on it, Ill be taking it elsewhere.

She is the first person I call or text with questions about mine or my wifes Hyundai vehicles! Hailey is always so friendly and knowledgeable about service issues! I will say that I as much I appreciate my service at Hyundai, I am having second thoughts about continued visits for routine oil changes as Hyundai has become over priced at $70.00 plus . I am retired and that is just a little too high for me at this point! Thank you again Hailey for being such a wonderful customer servant!

Careful with these people. The website cannot be trusted and forget about lease deals. Hyundai.com says $189 a month for 3 years. I get it. Its a base model. Ive leased before. Their price was $400. Nope. Nope. Nope. I actually have a picture showing all the pricing and MSRP and their price was HIGHER than the MSRP.
This was my first time purchasing a car, a 2021 Hyundai Sonata, from a dealership and I went in knowing what I wanted and could afford but was still a little nervous. The experience could not have been better, except for the rain. I was greeted immediately and went for a test drive. Don, the salesman that I had, was super friendly and knew everything about the car. He was able to answer my questions about it as well. I never once felt pressured to do something that I couldn’t. Don and the rest of the team worked with me to get to the price point that I could afford. The car is great and all of the features make it even better. I would definitely go back to Oxmoor Hyundai!
I looked into buying a new vehicle here and had even started the process of paperwork and trading mine in. When I asked to see a spreadsheet of the numbers, they had not only increased the price I was originally quoted for the vehicle by almost $1000, there was over $2000 in fees. One of the additional fees was for a “pulse” brake light that was ALREADY on the vehicle. That should be included in the cost of the vehicle. When I asked them how much in total I would be paying for the vehicle they would not give me a straight answer. I also asked to take the spreadsheet home with me, the salesman took the sheet back to the manager to “let him know where we’re at” and didn’t bring it back out to me for me to take home and review numbers with my husband. Maybe this was an accident but I had a feeling it was because they knew how absolutely ridiculous the whole thing was. They even claimed on that spreadsheet they would be losing $2000 on the whole deal, what a joke! I’m not sure if it was because I’m a younger female they felt like they could pull one over on me or if they treat everyone like this but if you buy from this dealer beware of ridiculous fees and make sure you triple check numbers and what you’re actually paying for. I was so excited about that vehicle but I’m so glad I didn’t end up giving them my money. I really now understand why car dealerships (especially large ones) have a bad reputation. I felt completely defeated leaving there. I ended up driving to Ohio to buy a vehicle. I went to crossroads car and truck in Milford. They were excellent. Extremely honest about their vehicles and what they would give me for mine. They charged me $250 in doc fees and didn’t try to slide any other crazy “fees” in there. The price on their vehicles are set- so you don’t spend all day negotiating and their prices were very fair. Made the process very quick and painless. It was a little bit of a drive but well worth it and I’m thankful I gave my money to a smaller, honest business at the end of the day as opposed to one that is dishonest and tries to screw people over.

TRASH SERVICEWent there today to test drive Hyundai Sante Fe and Genesis GV70First there were 4 sales man sitting there doing nothing and still no body waited on us.One guy finally asked us what we were looking for and I said SEL AWDwe went to the lot and it was not the car I wanted to test drive and I asked which one is one with the tech and Feature. The sales man replied man we walked all the way out here. you should have asked me what you was looking for? in very rude manner. I also ask him to test drive GV70 and he again replies Man, you want to drive everything and dont want to buy anything?.The only reason I was there is because I have BOUGHT PALISADE from there and I was happy with the service I got from Will Bruce.Never again.We were there to buy Genesis GV70 and check out Hyundai Santa Fe or Palisade.But I dont spend money where business is not appreciated.

He was very understanding and patient, listening and working with us to make a fair price but also did not apply any extra pressure. Even while waiting, we were able to meet other people working at Hyundai and they were all so friendly. I initially was impressed by the response from staff regarding my interest in a vehicle. However, upon arriving for my scheduled test drive (confirmed repeatedly, including the morning of) I was told that it had been sold. Not only that but every single similar model was also sold despite the numerous listings on the website. When pushed to verify if there was a mistake due to my confirmed appointment, I was told that no it had not been sold but it also was not at the lot. No apologies were given nor any explanation for the miscommunication. Appalling service all-around.Edit: Apologies, I should add they did have 2 cars available but only in the luxury models running well over $10k of the car I had scheduled to test drive...somehow that does not seem like a coincidence.
I recently bought a used car here and am really happy with its quality and price. However, I did not have a good customer service experience. My salesperson was not honest with me on multiple occasions. At one point he claimed that they had verified the quality of the vehicles wheels and brakes to a certain standard. Later, once we were more invested in the car, he said hed made a mistake and had actually shared with us a standard that only applied to certified pre-owned cars.I also took the car for pre-purchase inspection at a mechanic (something the dealership tried to convince me not to do) and found that it had failed the battery test, even though they said they had checked the battery. So me and the salesperson agreed on a price for the car as long as they replaced the battery, and he had me sign a few papers along the lines of that deal. Then later, he told me he had found a better solution that works for all of us, which required me replacing the battery myself and cost me more out of pocket than our agreement would have. When I pushed back, he said he had misheard his manager telling him the agreement was okay, and started rapidly spewing details that were incorrect (about the time we came in, previous agreements we had made) and a bunch of technical car terms that really felt like he was trying to confuse, and blame, me and my mom. The price for me between the two agreements wasnt huge, but it was overall a much more a negative experience than I hoped for (even though I had come in prepared for some trickiness from the dealership). But I will say again that I am at least happy with the car itself.

He guided us through the process smoothly and involved other dealership personnel as necessary to inform us on the technical components, and their use, of our new Genesis GV80. I highly recommend the dealership and the vehicle.

All the staff are super efficient and my latest deal took less than 2 hour start to finish. Although I didn’t get the Elantra I was expecting to drive away with, the Sonata Hybrid Limited is everything I could ever want in a vehicle.
I had already researched and knew the car I was interested in. When I arrived, Justin assisted me in viewing the car and answering any questions I might have. He was great to work with. All the paperwork was done while I had other appointments and was ready for me to complete and sign when I returned. Since my wifes immune system is compromised, he also allowed her to sign all paperwork outside. My only negative was that he did not offer to show me firsthand how to operate any of the features on the car. But also in his defense he made sure to let me know that I could contact him any time I needed anything or if he could help me in any way. Overall, I was very happy with the experience dealing with this dealership and will recommend it to others.

Easiest and least frustrating car buying experience ever! Our sales professional, Tyler, was just that...professional, personable, and knew the ins and outs of the car we were interested in. He brought the car to our home for a test drive. We did the negotiating there as well. After some serious negotiations (nothing antagonistic or high pressure), we reached a deal. Tyler did his due diligence by getting our insurance info. and other documentation from us so that when we arrived at the dealer the next morning, we were in and out in less than an hour in our new, perfectly prepared vehicle. There are plenty of nice cars out there for sale. What makes Oxmoor Hyundai different from other dealers is the service. I don’t write reviews often, but since most people put going to the dentist and buying a car in the same category, I owe it to humanity to share a way to ease the pain!

Bought a 2021 on June 7, had a flat tire( which was my fault) but had purchased extra insurance, returned to dealership, told me it would be 1 day, and I just called them back, because they havent called me, told me it will be tomorrow. So basically paid 30000 to find a ride. What a joke. They just want to make their sale, not worried about your satisfaction, highly disappointed
10/10 will never recommend to anyone wanting to buy a car and have a genuine experience. Two if their employees straight lied to mine & my husbands face when we purchased our vehicle. We asked them both specifically if the vehicle we were purchasing had an out of state title. They both told us no and 3 weeks we get a letter in the mail stating it did have an out of state title and needed to be inspected.So for the fact that we specifically asked both employees one question and they couldn’t commit enough to their job to give us a CORRECT answer, tells me they are not a good business to buy from. Will never go there again and will never recommend.
I like the sales person. Black guy with Cowboy hat...can’t find his name. They have more in stock then other dealerships. But my main concern was the price of the vehicle was hiked up $10,000 then the window price. So if you buy anything from here please confirm the price first.They did work with us to get it down but I didn’t go there to haggle. So just beware of their window prices. False advertising.

Salesman very knowledgeable and listened to my vehicle needs and didn’t try push me into vehicle I wouldn’t be happy with; did try get me upgrade and made very persuasive offer. Good experience, for after looking online and shopping around it was time to just pick, and we’re happy. Only disheartening part was during closing the gentleman whom completed paperwork didn’t introduce himself, approached me and said “you ready to go, and I responded where and he then said follow me to which I asked why,” again never introduced himself nor announced why, I had to ask him several questions to see why he needed me follow him. I may have considered buying “Extended warranty”, but his tone was condescending. So NO is my final answer.

We called Derrick around 3pm on a Sunday. We live in Northern Ky and have been looking for a low mileage older Jeep Wrangler for several months. We drove 1 and 1/2 hours to find just what we wanted. Tyler was fantastic and we came to an agreement within 15 minutes after a test drive. The finance agent was fast and efficient. We were treated with respect and courtesy. I would purchase another vehicle at Oxmoor Hyundai.

Our Dodge Journey bit the dust and instead of replacing the engine, we decided to purchase a new vehicle. We found ourselves at Oxmoor purchasing a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe absolutely ecstatic about our purchase/experience. We traded in our broken down dodge, which the dealership agreed to have towed from the repair shop to the auction house they use. Dreamy, perfect. We drove our newly purchased Santa Fe to the auto shop to clear our remaining possessions out of the dodge.This is where the trouble began. On our way home, our freshly purchased Santa Fe stalled and broke down in the middle of an intersection and would not restart, requiring my husband to get out and attempt to push the vehicle to a shoulder. We contacted our salesman who said to have it towed BACK to the dealership so they could look at it. 3 days later, the dealership informs us they don’t really know what’s going on but the car likely needs a new engine. This is obviously unsettling for us since this car was way to “young” in years and mileage to require this kind of repair. After several days of discussion with various employees, we were able to reverse the original deal and continue our car shopping journey somewhere else. Our salesman informed us our dodge would be towed back to our home for us to do whatever we like with it. This was Saturday, July 10th.Fast forward to this past Monday (7/19). I text our salesman to inform him we are purchasing a vehicle in Lexington and reiterate that we want the dodge towed to our home. He confirms, says he’ll work on it the next day. Tuesdays comes and goes. Wednesday comes and goes. Thursday I text him again asking for an update. He tells me “he forgot” but he just told his GM who will get right on it.Today, almost a full week later, the dodge is towed back to our house. The tow truck driver informs me he’s left the windows down due to standing water and a moldy smell in the car. 🤨 Ok…what??? I go out to my driveway to investigate and discover INCHES of standing water in my front floor boards, door handles, ACTUAL MOLD growing in the back seat upholstery, and no license plate on my car. Someone, somewhere, has rolled down the car windows and left it in a field to be rained in for over a week. I contact the auction house, who inform me I need to contact the dealership because they have done nothing to/with the car and that the dealership had it towed both ways. I contact the dealership who has not returned my calls and tried to connect me back to my ORIGINAL SALESMAN instead of the appropriate parties I requested.My dodge is now in far worse condition than it was when I brought it in, making it impossible to sell it for anywhere close to what I was hoping, much less what it’s worth. And yes, I’m going to file complaints with the BBB and the like, but for now just stay far far away from this dealership. They were terrific on the front end, but as soon as things went sideways all we got was the run around, empty words and promises, and are in worse shape than when we started.
Tyler Stevenson was a great salesman and had everything ready to go in no time. We were in and out in under 20 minutes with our brand new Hyundai. Have already recommended him to family and friends.

Terrific experience here. I brought my 14 year old Elantra in for recall service. They never blinked once at the age of my car and were so nice and welcoming. The communication was terrific. Corey was fantastic and very thorough. I live about 30 minutes away and they did not seem to mind that I was arriving at very close to closing time to drop off and pick up my car.

Tae Lea was our sales consultant and he is a rock star. After test driving a new gray Palisade Calligraphy, I told him what I needed a white exterior SUV with a beige interior and drove away. One month later, he texted me I have your car...just got off the truck and it wont last long. I was shocked and blessed. Tae did not forget about me and did not give me empty promises: he just kept vigilant. The sales process was efficient with Oxmoors online credit application. The finalization of the purchase was effortless and took about 20 minutes with the finance manager. Within 30 hours, I drove home with my new white SUV. So blessed by their care and service.

This place has horrible customer service!!! My husband made an appointment to have his car serviced, he is a nurse and works long hours so I brought his car in to drop it off. They already knew what the main complaint was with the car and that the time frame of running diagnostics and fixing the car would take hours to possibly days. When I arrived our appointment was with Cory. I was sent into the service department not knowing who Cory was, and still didn’t know I was talking to Cory until I asked him what his name was. This right here is bad enough, to be left wondering around a service garage not knowing where to go or who to talk to. Then he tried to tell me that it was going to be 130.00 just to run diagnostics on the car even though my husband had bought an extended warranty. I told this to Cory but he acted annoyed and put out like I was telling him something foreign. He said that he would call a number and see if it would cover it but I had to sign saying that we would pay for it if they wouldn’t. Cory then asked if I would be sticking around to wait or if he would be calling when they were done. I asked how long it would take and he said it could be hours and he implied it be best for me to go. So I explained that I brought my husband’s car because he was at work. I don’t have an extra car and that I would need a loaner. He said that he didn’t know if he had a loaner available because he hadn’t been in the “box” today. And that he would have to run the diagnostics before he could give me a loaner and that could take hours! 😑 by this point I’m getting annoyed. So this guy knows we are coming at 10:30. Knows he is going to have something he needs to fix and possibly order parts for and is NOT prepared for us at all! Not only should he have greeted me when I walked in knowing it was me coming through the door at 10:30 but he should have at least asked my husband when we made the appointment if we would need a loaner car, and have one ready and available when I got here!!! Poor poor poor customer service!!!! We will NEVER buy a Hyundai again!!!!

I would like to say I had the best experience EVER with Oxmoor Hyundai, they were very kind and looked out for what I wanted. They actually made it about me instead of it being just a sale. David Furhman was the best HANDS DOWN. He went out of his way to make sure I got everything I wanted. He also made sure once I got my things in my car to sit in my car and show me how everything worked. Best experience ever!!!!
Don took a lot of extra time with us since we had not been in the car market for a smaller car recently to show us everything Hyundai had to offer. He was very thorough in explaining the differences. We are very satisfied with the IONIQ HEV we decided on. It goes very well with the Santa Fe Ultimate we have to meet all our needs.
I had an excellent experience. I had been to a couple of other dealers and was underwhelmed. I was wondering if the advertising was accurate because the deal seemed far better than what I was expecting. Well, it turns out, the deal was what I was hoping for. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I turned in a lease and drove out happy. Buying a car can be a painful experience, but they made it easier than Ive ever experienced before. I was really impressed with Oxmoor Hyundai and for the first time in my 35 years if vehicle ownership (and nearly 20 different car purchases), felt like I got a really good deal. I came prepared with specific stock #’s in mind from their website and did my due diligence. The sales rep, Dakota, was outstanding. I’m in sales for a living; and no one hates to be “sold” more than another salesperson. Dakota was very consultative in his approach. The finance manager, Katie, was great to work with, too. The dealer fees were a little higher than the national average, but comparable to other dealers in the Louisville metro and certainly not exorbitant. No complaints because the price was great AND they were very fair with my trade-in. I’d recommend Oxmoor Hyundai to all my family and friends.

Had an amazing experience with the gentleman at Oxmoor Hyundai! I felt no pressure at all from start to finish. Every single employee I spoke to was so friendly and welcoming. To start the online rep Spencer was very quick to respond and answer and product questions I had. After a day or two of browsing their site he scheduled an appointment for me to come in and meet with a salesman. Justin got his steps in that day because I think I looked at every car on the lot. He was super patient and helped me find what worked best for what I needed with keeping me in the payment amount I was wanting to pay. On top of that - they have an in-house insurance agent who was able to cut $40 off my insurance! WHO WOULDNT LOVE THAT! 10/10 recommend these guys. I won’t go anywhere else.
