They had my car for a total of 3 hours after the initial plan for oil change and tire rotation turned into waiting for tie rod parts to arrive since the OEM equipment pieces were worn out. They failed to do the simplest thing and put the oil cap back on so that I started to smell oil when I was driving because it was being sprayed out of the top of the motor on to all the hot components in the engine bay. There is now oil in the sound deadening layer attached to the underside of the hood and coating much of the electric wires, plumbing hoses, and hard surfaces. This is after they made a permanent ghetto rig modification to my car without consent from the last time I went there for an oil change and tire rotation. They drilled a hole in the door handle latch which had broken, but was still usable. There is space between the two hinges that the handle piece is mounted to where they could have routed the zip tie without it being a permanent modification. I thought I would give them a second chance but it is now proved detrimental not only for the potential catastrophic engine damage that could have happened were I not paying attention and I will not be going back because they may have done equally substandard work on the tie rod repair and that is a vital safety piece which I wont know if it was done wrong until I have a crash.

Great shop!! Pulled in with a flat tire and was brought right in. Road Hazard covered it so it was a free fix and they still hustled to get me out. The crew seemed to get along well, joking with one another and smiling. Thanks for the speedy repair, I am a small business owner and time is $$$$!!!!I find TD tires to be fair priced and good brands. Have had only good experiences with both locations I have been too.You guys rock, keep up the great work.

Absolutely thrilled with my tire service with Tire Discounters. I came in needing new tires. I was in and out in an hour. Im so happy with the quality of tires, speedy service and appreciate the employees that explained every detail along the way!

I was there just to get an oil change right as they opened at 8, was actually there at 7:30. They did not have my truck ready until after 3:00. I would not recommend going there unless you have a full Saturday to waste.

Went to have tires rotated. Went well until I got in my car to leave. There were grease hand prints on both door handles,the door,the steering wheel was covered in grease, gear shift was covered in grease and the glove box had grease on it. It took about 15 santitizing cloths to get it clean. I was not very happy. For one,this is covid times but having all this black grease all over my car is even worse. Wont be going back to this store. I did call and let them know. He said I could bring it in and theyd clean it. I had to clean the steering wheel before I left the parking lot because it was leaving black grease on my hands. Very disappointed

Made appointment for 2 front tires. They got me in and out quickly. One thing I recommend is if the tire light is on, please check all tires and fill tire before letting the customer drive off. My low tire light was on when I left. Other than that happy with service.

Over the past 20 years I have had good and really poor service. Today was one of my best. Monday morning, no appointment, tire damage beyond repair. The makings for an entire day lost.Short synopsis, found my warranty, installation completed and home before lunch.Lets hope this crew stays

When dropping my truck off on Thursday May 6, 2021, I stood at the counter for over 25 minutes waiting on someone to greet me. They had my truck for two days and when picking it up on Saturday’s May, 8, 2021, they didn’t have the mileage written down, so I had to wait on that. Then the guy at the register didn’t know what he was doing and I waited longer! Worst experience at Tire Discounter to date. The Manager was not helpful and I do not recommend this location!

They have put tires on 5 of my vehicles. And they always do a great job. Always nice staff and crew.

Bought a $200 car battery here a year ago...havent put 200 miles on the car since and now the battery is bad. I called this morning and explained the situation and was told to come in so they can test it and replace as it is under warranty. I get here to be told they dont have enough staff and their battery tester/charger is broken so they cant do anything. I told them I had it charged and tested twice and produced the documentation. That wasnt good enough and the guy with the nasty attitude at the desk (Justin) basically told me oh well. I asked for contact information for manager or corporate and was told no. I will never spend money here again and cannot believe how AWFUL the customer service here was today as it never had been this bad before.

My scheduled service was just fine (although my husband had hoped to get some pricing on tires), but I felt so bad for the gentleman working the desk. The phone was ringing off the hook and walk-ins were waiting around and the poor guy was struggling to keep up. Seemed like they were really short staffed. But the man working the desk was polite and patient the entire time.

EDIT: Tire Discounters reaches out to me through this google review so i contacted them. After several days I received no response so I filed a complaint with the BBB. Tire Discounters response was that they aren’t responsible and all they would do is offer me a tire at cost, even though one of their techs are to blame for the current state of my tire.————————————————————————This tire discounters is the worst one I’ve been to. I had a road hazard warranty on all of my tires and I took one in to have it patched. Not only did they not patch it properly, causing me to have a flat by the time I got home, but the guy ripped the screw out of the tire, pulling a piece of the rubber out with it. AND THEN they tried to make me pay for the patch even though the road hazard warranty covered it. A different tire discounters manager tested the tire and couldn’t see a leak coming from the chunk of rubber being gone, but the tire loses hair very slowly and has to be aired up about once every month or so. My road hazard warranty expired three days after the patch was done so this TD refused to replace the tire that they damaged. Now my car tire makes a noise and I’m hoping it doesn’t blow out before I need another one.This TD is horrible, the one on Taylorsville Rd and Preston Hwy by Gene Snyder are way better.Two of the pictures below show where they simply yanked the screw out and just stuck a plug in the whole. NO patch at all. The other picture is of the flat tire once I got home.

My truck was apparently done sooner than expected but they did not update my phone number when I dropped it off and I had to call and find out the status on it. Hopefully they updated my info.

This place is awesome Bardstown rd location the customer service and knowledge of product and services the store offers is above average but what got my attention is the Lady Mgr sweet sweet heart and determination to guide us women whom might not be knowledgeable with services these types of businesses offers thru the process of tire buying and repair and who knew this business does more then just tires so I will definitely be back for oil changes and All my automobile needs.

They fixed the issue that I had within trying to Up selling me on things that I did not need as well as being transparent about the things that I did need.

Called a week in advance to schedule an appointment and even gave make and model of car to ensure they had appropriate tire size in stock, but when we arrived for appointment we were told there was no appointment scheduled but they could “work it in” if I could wait 4-5 hours. Definitely not.

Tire Discounters is the WORST place to take your car! They up-charge everything and more than half the time they do not fix the issue. So Thursday my boyfriend called to make an appointment for Saturday and when we got there the appointment was apparently made for Friday. They took the car anyways and called my boyfriend about two hours later saying they could fix the issue. Yes we were aggravated but he said “Okay if you could just leave the KEYS IN THE CAR, it would be greatly appreciated!” So the lady on the phone, Sara, said she would leave the keys in the car and we would pick it up later that night. We get a call FIVE minutes before close but it was a “scam likely” call and there wasnt a voicemail left so we checked the number and realized it was them...no answer. Well I had to work yesterday and i couldnt get my car because they locked in it the garage after we told them to leave it out so we could get it. Because i couldnt get my car i lost $170 off of my paycheck which I desperately need. Before i picked my car up I called to make sure i could pick it up and asked why they locked it in the garage and they said on weekends they are allowed to leave it out because it could be stolen. They didnt tell us they couldnt leave it out. Also, they leave cars out during the week so im guessing cars are only stolen on weekends??? What idiots! Never getting my business ever again, nor my friends and family’s business

I wont be going back. My father used to swear by this place and recommend it to all his friends; however, we were told by a manager that over a year ago they changed how they pay their workers and its gone down hill ever since. The past three times I have went (even with an appointment), they have done something to either keep me waiting for over three hours or didnt do what I asked them. The second to last time I went there they gave me an oil change when I didnt ask for one. The oil was an oil that shouldnt be running through my car, and I had to go to my dealership to have them fix it. This time (two days ago) I was third to drop my car off (around 8:12am). The manager said that I could drop it off and it would be done in two hours. I dropped it off, and then waited 5 hours for them to just do a rotation and balance. I also asked them to check the tire pressure, they didnt and then I had to get back in line and wait for a mechanic to see me waiting and double check. After talking to everyone of my friends/family members that go here, they have has similar experiences within the past two years. I would rather go to my dealership service and pay $20 for them to do a rotation and balance and have it done in an hour than get a free one from tire discounters.I will say the manager at the front was very nice and handled the situation correctly. I was a rude customer. I was frustrated and took it out on her (even though it wasn’t her fault for the inefficiency— which I feel bad for). While I probably won’t be going back there because of the bad experiences I’ve had, she handled the situation alright.

They were able to fixed my blown tire and busted ball joint on the same day that I was in a small accident. Tech that was working on my car saved me $110 by not doing a requested alignment, said it didnt need one with the repairs done on the car. He was right, car drives straight. The crew on Bardstown Rd are great, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

9am appt turned into 9:18. Took the guy 30 mins to rotate tires (not a proper rotation but switched the front and back tires). The $29.99 oil change came up to $35.10 but the sign instore says no work will come up more than 10% of quote. Finally out at 10:11. Back to Valvoline I go. Horrible service!

Made an appointment for my tire problems at 3:30pm, and and prior to coming they didn’t give me a call that is was going to be an extended wait. They told me it was an extended wait but not this long! It’s closing time (6pm) and they still haven’t started on my car yet! The front desk clerk was extremely rude when I was trying to tell her that I didn’t know it was going to be this long. She just had a horrible attitude! Never get tires here! I got four brand new Michelin defender tires from here two years ago and this is the second time coming in for a tire patch and one time I came in to replace a entire tire! Paid over $1000 for tires that keep break down. I drive on paved roads and highways, never went on gravel road or off road!

Ive been here before, and didnt have any issues. I contacted customer service today twice to inquiry about the valet service, and both times I was ignored.

They were so nice to me today!!!! I had a flat tire that popped off the rim this morning on my way to work. After waiting 2 hours for roadside to come out and fit it we discovered that my spare was super low on air. Luckily I was less then a mile from the store and drove it to see if they air it up. While there I got a quote for a new tire they aired up the tire. Told them I would be back after work as I was already running late. Fast forward to later today I went back as I said I would. Before the tired to sell me a new tired they looked at the one that was on my car. They could not find any hole or nails or anything wrong with it so they put it back up on the rim and filled it with air and tested it for leaks and found nothing wrong with it. Said it must have gotten flat due to the cold weather recently. Then they installed the tire back on my car, aired up the other tires and put my spare back in my trunk for me. I didnt pay a dime for all of that! That is incredible customer service!!!! After all their help today I wont forget it at all. I will go back to them next time I need anything done to my car cause they were so super helpful today and they provided me with the upmost care and customer service.

I was going to buy tires from sams club but your tires where higher but the manager is what sold me on the team he has and the benefits that comes with the services and he showed me I needed brakes . Great crew very professional. The story is it might be cheaper somewhere else but be honesty and professionalism goes a long way

Final update:Today the 5th of June I received the refund of the money that I was overcharged on the 2nd of May, yes 35 days laterThese are the undisputed facts:1- On May the 2nd, I was overcharged when I bought and installed a tire from these guys2- At the same time the front desk person, her name is SARA refused to return my money back although she had the ability and the permission to do so3- The same night I sent an email to the company through their website to complain about what happened with me4- On the 5th of May I received a phone call from the regional manager, his name is NEIL who acknowledged that SARA should have returned my money immediately and he promised to get me a refund within one week5- On the morning of the 13th of May, I texted Neil to ask him why haven’t I got my refund yet, he read the text and never replied to my text6- On the evening of the 13th of May I filed a complaint with the BBB7- On the 14th of May, tire discounters responded asking for my information to contact me, I re-sent them my information and they never contacted me8- On the 18th of May, they responded to my review asking me again to send them my information9- On the 22nd of May they claimed that they put an order for my refund to their refund department10- Only today, the 5th of June, I received my refund, 14 days laterCONCLUSION:They kept my money that they took by mistake for 35 days although they were able to fix the problem immediately and on the same dayThey did not even apologize for what they have doneA horrible lousy company employing a horrible lousy incompetent employees who CHOSE not to do the right thing to correct their own mistake at EVERY levelIf you are a potential customer and you believe these people deserve your business, PLEASE don’t pay a cent before making sure that they didn’t overcharge youIf you are the owner of this company, you really NEED to clean your house, these incompetent employees are the face of your company and they will get jobs somewhere else as soon as your company goes out of businessNeither I nor my family, friends and colleagues will ever deal with these people againI am finally done with this nonsense, glad to have exposed these people for what they are. I have never had so much fun dropping one and picking my car up from a tire store, I didnt want to leave! The counter staff were great, entertaining, polite and just plane fun! The service in my car was spectacular! It drives better, the tires are great and the prices are very affordable.

They are great for new tires can beat their prices but oil and brake changes are way to high. They need more people at the desk to serve people faster. Waiting 15 minutes with only two people ahead of me.

I had a 2pm appointment and had to wait almost two hours before my car was pulled back. I came for an alignment and asked them to have them fix my glove box door as I had messed it up replacing the cabin filter, that was not communicated to the tech as it was still broken when he brought it out. I asked about it and he thought the front desk person was talking about a different car. He was able to fix it on the spot but still. Also, apparently the front desk person cant count. My total was $103 and some change and I gave her $110, she gave me $1.05 as change. I had to pull out my phone and do the math on the calculator app to show her the correct change. At least I got $10 off for waiting two hours??

They are good people and done a great job.

We told them we were going to check with the person that did front end work for us before having anything done to make sure he hadnt done the same thing. The mgrs called us up and gave us our keys and then said now get out of my store.

Poor service. Not my chels to add, they sell old tires like their brand new meaning they have sat on the shelf. Tires start to age from the day they are manufactured! Tire prices are great. The wait is excessive though even when you make an appointment. The customer service in stores is good but dont expect to hear back from them if you contact them online.

My experience at this Tire Discounters could not have been any better. After a rough week with car troubles, someone recommended I stop in here to see if they could help me out. Ive had this same issue fixed on my car twice before, so I had low expectations coming in. Dale took a look at it for me right when I got there at no inspection charge and took me back into the garage to show me exactly what was happening with my car. He gave me a nice quote (cheaper than the other two places I had been before!) and was able to fix it that night and even stayed a little later than to make sure I could have it back as soon as possible. The help and kindness they showed really turned my day around and now I will always recommend anyone going to them!

Honestly the rudest service Ive ever experienced. Ignored customers and when they did speak to you it was with an awful attitude. It honestly made me mad and made me question what they said about the car. Also the service was incredibly slow, and they were not busy that I could see.

Been coming here for years and I think it’s time to move on. Over two hours for a tire rotation and oil change seems ridiculous to me, and it’s not the first time. Also, I was just told I may need a part fixed that I just got done here in September 2017. Hope your experience is better than mine.

I went to this Tire Discounters for an alignment. I had to wait 1.5 hours which is fine because there was only one mechanic working at the time and other cars were before me. Before I gave them the key they told me they would be giving me a full alignment, adjusting toe, caster and camber.They were working on the car and I dont know if they didnt realize I could see the screen where they were adjusting the alignment, but I could. I watched the entire time and only saw them adjust the front toe, but nothing else, which was odd, but I figured I just wasnt seeing the whole picture and they had adjusted the front and rear.They rolled the car off the alignment rack and asked me for the $80. I asked to see the result sheet. Their response was that they didnt have one. I brought up the fact that I only saw them adjust the toe in the front and I could tell they got a little uneasy. They told me they could not get the result sheet so I asked to speak with a manager. He told me that they didnt have the result sheet like the others did. I told them I wouldnt pay without seeing the result sheet.Finally, they gave me the result sheet. They had ONLY ADJUSTED the front toe on the car. The rear toe was actually WORSE than when I brought the car in. When I asked them about this they said they guess they just forgot to do it and put my car back on the rack. They told me they would only adjust the front and rear toe and nothing else, yet they still wanted me to pay the full price! I refused to pay if they had only adjusted 1/6 of the things I paid for.Eventually after a lot of talking to different people and the a** manager, he went out to the car, drove it off the ramp (again), talked with his workers and stormed back in, threw me the key didnt say anything else. Never got a reason for why they didnt adjust anything but the front toe other than Guess we forgot.This experience makes me wonder how many people they have messed over who had paid for a full alignment there. IF you go there for an alignment (I highly, highly recommend you go elsewhere) I recommend you ask for the results sheet. Im glad I did.

I was able to get in there almost immediatly. The guys there were super friendly and took my car back and got to work right away. Took half of the time it does anywhere else and their prices are fair. Definitely going here from now on.

This place is incredible. The GM Don and the Service Manager Ragan are exactly what people want from an auto service facility. Attention to detail, patience with customers, and putting those customers needs above all else.By the way, they have a special, four wheel alignment and an oil change, for only 89 bucks there. I hope they never come to their senses and change that because a front end alignment ONLY everywhere else in town is 75-85 dollars.

These guys are a joke, take your business elsewhere if you dont want your car to be torn up and to wait 3 and a half hours for a set of tires. I even made a appointment, which apparently doesnt mean anything anyways. Then after waiting so long they told me they would not be able to perform the alignment because the one person that can run the machine had other things to do!? The salesman said some people have kids they have to pick up !? the nerve of these people! I have a daughter myself and it is hard to find the time to perform services like this even when they are quick and efficient about things. They pulled my vehicle in the shop popped the hood and it sit there for literally a hour before it was touched again! My appointment was for 4 oclock they pulled the vehicle in at 430 and sit until 530! when they were putting parts back on the guy broke a rubber boot on my intake! I had to tell him to step aside and let me fix it! He was just going to leave it! I have been a loyal tire discounters customer for many years and many vehicles. I will not be going back. such a shame seems they have become a victim of there own success and a victim of incompetent employees. dont get me wrong there was two guys that knew what they were doing, but they were too busy helping along the others to get anything done themselves. I wish I could give 0 stars. Another customer came in for a oil change he had a appointment for and it only took him a two hours to get it. It sit on the rack so long the guys forgot if they changed the oil. They were not busy just unorganized. Take your business elsewhere!

I scheduled an oil change last weekend and was super excited about the price and easiness of making an appointment. Upon arrival, the customer service felt very cold and if I was a burden being there. While checking in my vehicle, I asked to get an estimate for changing my brakes. Usually, following each oil change comes a recommendation. During my last visit, they recommended changing my brakes and provided me with an estimate. They called numerous times asking if I wanted to add it during my last visit. This visit, I asked for an estimate and didn’t receive one. I guess my brakes improved with additional braking and mileage. I also asked them to call me when my car was complete. I dropped off my car at nine and waited throughout the day. Later in the afternoon, I went to the store and seen my truck sitting out back. I went into the store, paid, and left. As I was driving home, I went to wash my window. My washer fluid was bone dry. I pulled over and tried several times with no luck. I searched the store on the web to see if this was included. Clear as day, it lists topping the fluid off with every oil change. Later that day, I went to write a review but decided to let it go. Instead, I sent in a message through the web to communicate my disappointment. The following day, I received a call from the store to see how my experience was. I communicated the concern and was asked if I wanted to bring my car to them. They said this was the first thing they do. I let them know I stopped by NAPA and already spent five dollars to do what should have already been done. I also explained that I question if anything else was done. I felt like my experience was being questioned and mentioned I videoed my experience. I did receive many sorry’s and was told that they understood. Today, I received a call from someone who deals with complaints specifically. I communicated my experience just as I did the other gentleman. He asked if I was closer to any other stores. I told him I’m between this store and the Taylorsville store which had horrible reviews. This is why I chose this store. He said he has a new manager and got rid of the other one two weeks ago. I explained that my experience has made my decision and it’s tough to trust stores with your car as it is. He also apologized and said he understood but said he couldnt help if I don’t try another store. This just goes to show that it’s true when they say to do a job yourself if you want it done right. Once I edit my personal info. from my videos, I’ll try to drop the link. I’ve had good experiences to this point, but it’s like a doctor. One screw up in a particular field makes you reconsider.

I was not having a good day when i stopped in because ontop of everything else going on there was something going on with my tire... The guys got me in real quick and were very helpful explaining why they couldnt just fix it and it was safer for me to replace it the manager Frankie was awesome and pleasant to work with... nice as a female to go somewhere and have something explained to you where you understand it and dont feel stupid because your not a car person!

As always I receive exemplary service from Tire Discounters. I came in for a non reservation oil change and I was out within 30 minutes. I have recommended Tire Discounters to friends and family.

So as far as customer service goes the guy here were great. However I just had the oil changed in my car again only to find out that didnt tighten the oil filter which cause a nice leak in my car. I

Okay, Ive always done business with Discount Tire. Yesterday I stopped in to have a tire fixed, they fixed something, but this morning it was still leaking. I got off work and stopped by Tire Discounters because it was to late to make it back to Discount Tire. Well Tire Discounters is saying that thentire was run flat and has fix a flat in it so it cant be fixed. The rear tires are new, Discount tire never said made these claims. Stay away from Tire Discounters on B-town road!

We had a blow out on our camper and tire discounters was the only store in Louisville that had the tire we needed. We arrived at the store 5 minutes before the store closed and they got us a new tire in a matter of minutes. The staff at the store was so nice and very helpful.

Because of issues with the Preston Highway location, I tried the Bardstown store. Greeted when I entered, updated as they proceed. Like TD locations were in past
