I’ve had an annual maintenance contract with Air Comfort for many years. It has been a great decision. They contact me when it is time to do the cleaning and system check, so I don’t have to remember to schedule it myself. Overall I’ve been very happy with the service that I’ve gotten over the years.

Air Comfort was assigned to do a second opinion of my furnace by my home warranty company. The first company that came out did not do a proper diagnosis and tried to deny my claim. When Air Comfort came out, they determined I had a cracked heat exchanger on my furnace making it unsafe. They replaced the furnace in a timely manner and made sure I had everything I needed. They are very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC work you need done.

We are very pleased with our services from Air Comfort. My husband and I built a home 2 years ago and there has always been a temperature difference from one end of our home to the other by as much as 10 -15 degree difference. I wanted to say a few words about Mark. I just received 9 quotes for replacing our central AC/furnace, and Mark was one of the people who provided a quote. Mark was absolutely wonderful in spending the time (that only one other vendor matched) to walk through all the options, estimate load capacity, answer detailed questions, and generally giving me the sense that he really cared about the installation and the relationship he was building with his potential customer. Ultimately, we ended up choosing a different system and vendor based entirely on factors that were out of Marks control (warranty details on promotion). When I informed him of this he was both courteous and professional, wished us well and offered his assistance in any future time. I would not hesitate to recommend him, he was great.

Last weekend our air conditioner stopped working. We called a company we had used in the past to assess the problem. After paying the after hours fee, we were delivered the news that we would either need to spend a lot of money for diagnostics and repair or would need to replace the entire unit.We called our neighbors, recalling that they had reported a positive experience with the company that they used last year when replacing their air conditioner. They told us to call Air Comfort of KY. They were one of two companies that we called for quotes. When the other company came out, they didnt even look at the unit. They laid out the new unit options and were briskly out the door. When the Air Comfort sales representative, Cynthia, came out to discuss new units, she repeatedly suggested that we have a service technician come out to determine whether we could repair our current unit instead. Mark, the general manager and service technician, came out about an hour later and investigated the problem thoroughly. He found the problem within minutes and provided us with a solution that saved us thousands of dollars. We were able to fix our existing unit instead of having to purchase a new one. In addition, Mark worked us into the schedule the next morning for repairs. The service technician, Keith, performed the repairs and even made a special trip to pick up a load of special order filters to fit our furnace.We highly recommend Air Comfort of Kentucky for all of your HVAC needs. They provide excellent service with integrity and dependability. We will definitely use them in the future and will encourage everyone we know to do so as well.

When installing a new part for my heat pump, through a home warranty claim, they greatly overcharged for anything that the warranty did not cover. The worst example of which was their duct modification charge of 185 dollars, this amounted to installing an L-bracket. If you have a home warranty claim they know you cant shop around and will gouge you for everything they can.

2nd home & 2nd time using Air Comfort of KY. Once again quick response time to check out problem & fair price for service. We had to replace an existing heat pump that was installed 5yrs ago thru another company. We were not able to use full 10yr warranty due to it not being registered within the first 30days! Air Comfort of KY registers the equipment they install so I will not have this happen again! Keith did an exceptional job. He is very professional & thorough. He even took extra time to correct a few things aesthetically that the previous company did not. Thank you again Air Comfort of KY!

They came in and installed a furnace the technician did a good job the only problem was while installing the furnace the technician brokevthe light that was in the closet and then denied it . I called in the office the manager didnt fix the problem. So with that beign sai d . I had planned to get a new air conditioner unit in jus but i will be taking my buisness somewhere else at this point

Go with one of the Big companies. All these positive reviews seem nice but when something they did, is called into question a few months or years down the road, Mark is going to tell you in a round about way, it’s not his problem. (He can be quite rude)Called to have HVAC serviced and when the HVAC company pull the cover off my 4 year old, $7,000 system, it had water in it and the drain was full.I, like most people, do not have my system checked every single year, especially when this new. The drain was clogged. Turns out AirComfort did not connect the safety float switch properly when they installed it. Now I have soaking wet insulation in my crawl space.When the cover was removed, the wires leading to the float switch were just laying there not connected to anything. Mark admits it “may have not been installed correctly” but was “dumbfounded” and basically scolded me for not having it checked every year. (We all know that would have made ZERO difference).He refused to even come check the crawl space to see what damage may have been caused by the switch not turning off the system, due to water backing up.At the very least I asked him to reimburse me the 73 dollars that the other company charged, to connect wires that his crew should have connected 4 years ago. Of course he’s not going to do that either and conveniently said “you should have called us”. (After it’s been fixed).I understand to some extent, not wanting to commit to possibly hundreds, if not over a thousand dollars in repairs because his guys didn’t pay attention to the work they do. BUT AT THE VERY LEAST, why would he not AT A MINIMUM, simply reimburse me the repair cost. I would have still been disappointed but would not left a bad review.Go with one of the big companies for your HVAC needs. This company will use ANY excuse to pass the fault to you.
