They did great nails and great time it didnt take me long to get in there the only thing I didnt like is that I couldnt get my lashes done they didnt have anyone to do it there I like to get all of my stuff done at one time thats just me but if that was the only thing I could complain about that would be it but the nails were fabulous

They are rude and charge way too much. I took my son for an ingrown toe nail and specified to them just the BASIC PEDICURE. apparently she asked him questions and he did not understand and noted his head. So they charged me extra. I also heard a young girl upset because they charged her the most expensive pedicure and she did not ask for it. The owner did not care. This poor girl paid 154 for pedicure and short nails. Its really outrages! I will never return. Also, when I asked for them to break down the price the lady got upset, Im like lady its my money Im paying, I just want to know exactly what your charging me.

Service has become more hurry up and finish to the next one or take 2 hours for one person. Very poor service now.

Requested a new set and got a fill charged for full set. Terrible customer service!!

I love this place..... But today was horrible. I didn not get the shape i wanted I had to tell her like 3 times to fix it and it still was not right. She fixed a nail and made it croocked after i told her she said she would fix it but did not. Not happy. Not at all her name was Emily plus she was not to happy about me having to tell her to fix my nails which in the end she did not. I had originally asked for Chou but confused her name for Emily. Chou is the best nail tech. Will only go with her now. $50something not well spent only good thing is I love my pedicure. Nails are all kinds of shape but cofin.

I love LiLi she does your nails just as you want them done luv her and Mimi does your toes bomb and is very polite.

First timer after being referred by a previous customer & hands down I love it ! Little crowded but totally worth it, prices not bad either ! Thank you mike/Michael he took his to make my nails look so good ! Definitely going back.

Wasnt happy with my nails was charged entirely to much for the service I received they was friendly and respectful but was very slow and they dont tell you what your spending and surprise you with your total when its time to pay Im highly upset the shape was off and Im not satisfied I just wanted to get out of there

I took my 11 year old daughter for a pedicure and they ask her for special treatments and included it into my bill without asking me, the parent. My daughter didn’t understand what was going on and assume the lady was holding a basic conversation. I spoke to them about charging me while I was there the whole time and they could have ask me. Very hurt and taken advantage of. I will never do business with them again.

I dont know what these other reviewers were talking about. This place is down the street from my church and I stopped in today. Not only did they take me in right away but they provided great service. My nails look great. I have a new place to go after church now.

THE WORST NAIL SALON.They discriminate if you do not speak English. They leave you to wait for 3 hours till they want to help you and then turn you away for a service you are willing to pay for. So many nail salons and not once have experienced such distasteful customer service. Only services I was hoping for was acrylic nail removal and manicure since the city is shutting down again but somehow that was either too difficult or they blatantly wanted to be rude for no good reason. NEVER AGAIN.

They are days its OK. But other days it is bad, the owner does nail and Eyebrows and you have to wait nearly an hour for service. Even with appointment because of the whole covid. I will have to look for another place for sure.

My first time here and I absolutely loved it! The entire staff is very sweet and nice and pricing is very good. I got acrylic fill done by Emily and she is the best! She takes her time to make sure you get exactly what you want. I needed my eyebrows done as well and she mentioned that she does eyebrow wax for $8! Overall I am super impressed and happy with their services today and will definitely be coming back in a few weeks for my next fill. Loved it!

This is the best nail shop ever I love the service.

I dont like how little attention they pay to cleaning and sanitizing their tools. All they do is run the tools under water (no soap) and use it on the next customer. I have seen them do this in my last 3 visits through the years. When you complain about it, they pour alcohol on them. Nail files arent cleaned between customers. I usually go to another place that sanitize their tools with a small sanitizing oven. I feel much more secure that the tools are clean there than at Model Nails. They also arent so attentive to each customers. If you have a little bit of an ingrown nail, dont expect them to trim it because they dont. They constantly change their employees, dont expect to have a regular person. The only regular persons are the owner and the guy that does acrylics. Service is okay if you are in a rush or have no other options, but not my top choice.

I have had no problems with these nails what so ever!!! They are stronge and beautiful💅🏾. I recommend Model nails,for us that have had experienced broken, or chipped, warped shaping over all not what you wanted (Nails)😑🙅🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️ from other shops .

I got here after work because its so close. Emily always does a great job on my lashes & nails. Shes a real one. She wont over charge you because she can or for every little thing. If you are in the area check her place out. Ask for Emily. She gets busy so be prepared to wait because she doesnt do appts. 🙂

Incredible service! And to think I never really noticed this sweet gem. The staff has great service, they are friendly and are customer service based, and if your a DTLA native then you know how important that really is. Often times salons are packed and staff are rude unless your willing to pay a pretty penny for a pedicure on Melrose (I’ve been there too....not that great. Trust me). This was my first time going and it most certainly won’t be my last. All smiles.

Prices increased and quality decreased. Went in on a Sunday for full set. By Tuesday a nail fell off while typing on a keyboard. By Thursday another nail broke off as my nail swiped the side of the table. I brought it up to the owner and she angrily said, the nail dont fall off by themself! Another customer came in on Tuesday with a broken nail. She was also there the same Sunday I got my nails done. What a disappointment. Theyve lost a 5 +year customer

Not the poshest place... But without the fluff, I still love this place. People are genuinely nice, amazing prices, and my gel manicure last weeks without peeling and lifting.

Made an appointment last Saturday for today and they still took me 2 hours late. We will see how the pedicure turns out.

Love this place. Wait time is long but worth it. Karen does the best nails. Very happy customer here.

Chau was great, good service amazing result. i broke the nail and went back after 2 days and i think the lady was named emily. she was kind of rude and careless, now i have 9 pretty nails and 1 ugly one. will be returning, for chau only.

Would give 0 stars if possible. My sister and I both had our eyes infected by their individual eyelash treatment..a treatment Ive had done many times before. Could not work for a week. Eyes were red and burning immediately after and the girl said to just wait till it dried... But it never stopped burning. The next day we are both in the emergency room unable to see and being told our corneas were also scratched. We even left an extremely concerned message for them with absolutely no response.. Completely ridiculous.

Best friends shop, go check it out and get your cosmetic make up, for a great price.

The staff here is very friendly. Massage chairs for pedicures. Experts at up-selling, but that is to be expected in a nail salon. The parking lot is very cramped as they are in a shopping center with a lot of other busy businesses.

To the owner, Emily. You should consider upgrading to proper tools like an actual Sterilizer.... I dont think this nail shop meets the safety requirments at the bare minimum....

Put very little effort into painting my nails because i did not want gel. its been one day and is already chipping even though I had already had to ask them to redo two nails of mine that was done very badly
