Fantastic place. I really loved the idea of dry pedi and Mani. I had both w/gel polish! My hands & feet feel fantastic & soft! Give this a try!! Sanitary, professional, great polish selection!! This is my new go 2 whenever Im in LA!

Maalou is the best. Mia, the owner, has thoughtfully curated an escape well beyond just a nail spa. The process is different, yes, but I am now a waterless convert! Beyond the nail services (which are amazing) - the space is clean, the nail techs are friendly and SO good and its a little slice of vacation in Mar Vista. Go here. You will come back.

Been here twice now, and Ive been really happy with the service. Everyone is friendly and really know what theyre doing. It can be a bit pricey, but you certainly get a quality nail job.

This place is fantastic. Definitely read about no-soak before you come, my husband and I didnt so we were a bit surprised but not disappointed! As many mention the people here are really nice, fast but thorough. The atmosphere is very clean and soft with great natural night. Even better there is free parking in the back. Trust me youre going to want this place to be your new neighborhood go-to.

Love love love Silk!! All of the ladies (and Mason) are incredibly talented and I look forward to going there to relax, laugh and walk out feeling a million times better. Great for regular needs or to treat someone for a birthday, special occasion, etc. because it is over the top great service!

Amazing customer service. I loved Zalak and she did a beautiful job on my nails. Unfortunately I have a few reasons why I didnt do 5 stars. My husband and I both wouldve preferred a wet bath pedi and my husband says he didnt get massaged like hes been at other places. Also my nails chipped the next day and started popping off just a couple days later. Definitely too pricey for my nails to be popping off and chipping within days of getting them done. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and Im disappointed because I wont be going back when I thought this was the perfect place because its just across the street from my place.

Walked in after work in serious need of a mani & had the BEST experience!! Mia did a great job on my nails, but more than that- she was a true pleasure to chat with. Felt like I was a regular! I will definitely be returning:)

I really wanted to love this place - it is decorated so nicely and the people are so nice... Unfortunately I got a gel manicure on Friday (4/19) and it has started peeling off only 2 days later.... Gel manicures are supposed to last 3-4 weeks, so for this gel manicure to only last 2 days before peeling and flaking off is really disappointing.Update: 6 days later and 7 of my nails are in various states of peeling.

This place is AMAZING! Such a hidden gem, and though it’s super cute, fancy and clean, it’s surprisingly very affordable- the same prices as all the other nail salons around. Feels like you are at a friends house just catching up, the mani pedis are awesome (I do gel manis there and they always last forever). Make an appointment if you can but they take walk ins too!

Had an amazing service. This was a very refreshing take on a nail salon. The service was great. I even got a glass of champagne with my service. I will definitely be going back to this place.

Had a wonderful experience with my mani/pedi. The owner was SO accommodating to my schedule. The place is extremely clean and relaxing....perfect mid-week escape! Highly recommend!

I love this place. They dont use traditional soaking methods which means environmentally friendly-saving water, plus more hygenic. The owner is hands on and the team working there reflects her warm personality and the PARKING IS FREE!

Ill admit its been a very long time since I treated myself to a mani/pedi. I work in pet retail/services, so never get to wear cute open-toe shoes, and always handling dog food or cleaning after dogs with heavy duty disinfectant.Finally had a day off and felt like I deserved some TLC. I looked up salons near me and Maalou came up. They were able to fit me in within 20min. I suppose Mondays might not be their busiest day.I did not know it was a waterless salon. At first it seemed odd but it ended up being awesome. Im not picky, I do basic pedi and buffed shine mani and that was just perfect.Im terrible with names so I apologize but I do not remember the names of the 2 ladies or the owner. But overall Im very happy. Its close to my house, so Ill be back. Not cheap, but worth it, and once in a while, I deserve it 😁

I have never recieved such personal care. Mia, the owner, she gets right in there! never had a dry pedi either.Everything is SUPER CLEAN! AND all their tools, sterilzed or brand new ..they do not use the same towel for several customers. I had a pedi, she had to use like 4 or 5 towels for me. Just amazing!. Go and be glad! oh, they use a gel style acrylic. no more powder!Did i say how clean everything was?
