Bout what youd expect from an inner city self car wash -- fixtures are beat up (and in some cases inoperable), theres barely enough room to turn around (and sometimes not enough), and its always packed. Oh and they charge 10 bucks even if youre only doin a quick spritz. Hoses have some oomph though. At the end of the day, isnt that all you really need?

Worst place. Don’t go there. First of all it said that they have free vacuum on Tuesday but I didn’t get anything free. Secondly the shampoo thing doesn’t work and their vacuum don’t work!!

This place is a scam. I purchased 4 tokens, the machine showed 5 something mins almost 6 and the time ran out after I finished foaming my car. This has never happened before in other car wash locations. I always finish cleaning my car (rinse, foam, rinse, air dry) within 4 mins. I talked to the owner and he had to give me a full lesson on how the hell did he know how many tokens Id put in. I just assumed they did something to the machines. Very dishonest business!

This is my second time here. I spent 6 dollars yet my car is dirty. no foam to clean. awful car wash I have ever seen. no manager nothing . the guy gave me a free carwash at the end for 9 minutes and my car was still dirty. awfullllllll

Kind of a scam. The high pressure rinse dispenses less soapy water so you still need to use their additional rinse options to get rid of soap. Hence more time, more cost.

If you go here, do NOT use the foaming brush. My entire car was scratched up from it.

I had an amazing and somewhat fun time washing my rental car. I was proud of myself when I finished and left the carwash all ready to begin work all shinny and clean. I cant wait to go back when its time.

Great car wash! You get a great car wash, interiors vacuumed, windows washed, dried and tire shine. Definitely worth it!

Old guy that runs this car wash is very rude and pushy, he will walk right up to you after spending a good amount of money washing and try to get you to leave right at the 15 min mark for vacuuming. Save yourself time and find a car wash that values paying customers

Great car wash! They are generally really busy. But they do a good job & make quick work of a long line of cars. I love the option of just having the outside washed. I can stay in my vehicle & drive off when they finish drying it. I have been going there for years.

The Salvadorian guy was very nice, helped to guide where everything goes and what to use. Went around 9:20am & left at 10am, was very pleased with the customer service!

Amazing and speedy service. The gentlemen were polite and patient with me since I asked lots of questions for my first time and all for good prices.

Sprayer was completely broken so it took my $4; no way to get a refund or cancel. Then I go to the only vacuum that was open and it is out of service. I just left.

I dont have kids BUT your kids will definitely have a blast with all the colored light changes. The car wash itself is super cost-effective and time-efficient. And by the way, its just freakin relaxing. I HIGHLY recommend road ragers make a pit stop here to chill out before making their commute!

I have never experienced such rude service in my life. The elderly man who said he is the owner has no concept of customer service. I was about to use the vacuum to clean my car but I had to take an emergency phone call. I was in my car no more than 5 minutes when this man kicked me out of the lot. I will never do business at this place ever again. They overcharge and the equipment doesnt work most of the time so just as well.

Most of the time, you can just pull in and self-wash your car because their are available stalls.The best part is their change machines because they dispense dollar coins.Best time to go in the weekends is between 7-10 in the morning and late evening.

The best value in LA. Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Clean exterior for $7 and then vacuum and detail yourself for free with their tools. Amazing.

I come here often but lately Im disappointed this wash stopped taking quarters. Its very inconvenient at times to have paper cash to exchange for dollar coins when they used to take quarters, which I usually have bags of to use for this kind of thing. Extremely annoying. Bring quarters back because without them, this place is useless.

A good self-service car wash. If youre quick you can do a full cleanse of the exterior for just $4, from pre-soak to foam brush to high pressure wash to spot free rinse. I take my car to a full service car wash once every month or two, and come here for when it needs a quick clean up after a trip to the desert. Just be sure to do a quick hand dry after pulling out or youll get a lot of water stains! Vacuums were there as well but havent tried them yet.

Do not use your credit card here. It charges you extra and it lies to you saying the max is 10$ all it will do is charge you twice and will say it only charged you $5 only use cash here. So disappointed. But besides that. its decent, EDIT( after all this waiting the charges were deleted from the bill so im assuming that it has a charge hold up until it gives you a real charge. fair warning wait out the pending)

A little tough to schedule (not enough waschers yet), but guy did a great job once here. Took about an hour and a half with the car and really went over it all inside and out. Pretty happy with the result.

Like others say dont use credit card,it will charge you double. Other than that lots of foam and good nozzle spray at this location( free Vacuum Tuesday and Wednesday) be there early to avoid long wait. Enter thru Mohawk St. Not Alvarado side too avoid any chaos with other drivers coming out from washing or drying thier Vehicle.

I want this place to be cool, but it actually sucks.Most things don’t work, hoses have holes in them and spray water everywhere.

Alvarado car wash was as great as a self service car wash could be. Put in about $9 for the car and $3 for vaccumming (on Tuesdays vac is free.)The manager Abel was very helpful, and went above and beyond customer service expectations.

Ive been a patron for 10 years. Ive had 2 run-ins with the on-site attendant. Hes rude. Im calling management today. Argument #1 - I told him there wasnt any soap in the spray wash and he insulted my intelligence by telling me that I dont know how to turn the knob correctly. I repeat, there wasnt any soap like all my previous car washes there. Argument #2 - I noticed a broken tire degreaser on the floor of one of the stalls but I drove in to wash my car since all of the other stalls were being used. He turned hostile so quickly and accused me of breaking the wand! I defended myself kindly but he insisted it was me. The argument devolved into him threatening to review video. I gave him my contact information and told him that the video would clear me and that he could use my contact information to apologize to me after reviewing his video. He got in my face and was hyperventilating. Customers like myself do not deserve treatment like this.

Worst customer service ever the guy working there needs some serious training. If you go there prepare to get ripped off and called a liar to your face.

I rinsed my car using my debit car, i was Charged $4.. but my bank statement shows I was charged $10. I’m very disappointed, oh and the phone number on their website it’s disconnected. Also none of the dispensers work, their all out of order. No attendant either.

Went to wash my car. The hoses and the handles on the washing equipment was covered with grease and the whole place is unkept. The function for pre wash (soaking in soap spray ) didnt work and the water pressure was horrible.
