Ive been coming here since I can remember getting my first haircuts. My father brought me here as a toddler and I havent let this place go. This is definitely how a barber shop should be, and regardless how busy or far I have moved I still find time to come down. Many barbers have come and gone but the core of Mr. Garcia/Ramon and JR still makes this my barber shop of choice even if its 65 miles away.

This is a wonderful place to bring your kids to get a haircut. My nephew is special needs and Juan Carlos did a great job cutting his hair. He was super patient and understanding. I highly recommend this place.

Im pretty new to LA still and have had the most horrible experiences in barbershops. Until I came to Garcia’s barbershop. Honestly JC is the kindest person and really values his customers. He gives great haircuts for a good price! Will continue to come here! For those looking for someone new to cut your hair, he is skilled with his fades!

Unfortunately, not good. Went with high hopes based on reviews. Not hygienic enough and the place looks very old inside. People dont wear masks even when customers are present. Not following COVID protocols at all. Even the customers didnt seem to care about the COVID and were simply without masks.2 stars because the hair cut was good enough. The place needs to be desperately modernised. Barbers tools also need to be maintained well. The sitting chair was even more horrible.

Every one that works at this barber shop is skilled at their jobs. I would feel comfortable having any one there cut my hair. There have been plenty of barber shops were I come out bumbed out because the people dont know what they are doing but here its not like that. All I can say is to check it out and I guarantee you will be a loyal customer. Also try to make an appointment it will be easier than a wait time.

My first experience at this barber shop was excellent! Hence, the owner of this shop has become my personal barber. Hes pretty young to be an owner but thats probably because of his financial savvy. Seriously, this guy gives good advice here and there every time I go see him. It reminds me of that book, The Wealthy Barber. Strange, actually. Anyway, the real reason to come here is because of the craftsmanship and attention these guys give to their cuts. Theyre very friendly and always give me the cut I want even though I may not be very descriptive(as you can tell). This shop is a homey place, as in, you feel right at home the second you walk in. Its got nothing but five star reviews so far, so what do you got to lose?Okay, the only real gripe I have with this place is the fact that you have to book an appointment a day in advance. You cant just barge in there and expect to get a haircut that same day, which is understandable. Im glad they got enough business to keep them busy, for it is well deserved. Is it enough to take away a star for? Hmmm... well... Trust me, they make up for it in the service they provide. This is like one of those places that are a small secret from the rest of the world

The interior design of the barber shop is amazing. Nice place to chat, watch sports and of course to get a legit haircut. It is a hidden gem. I highly recommend to go and check it out. Every barber has its good qualities so you cant go wrong with either one.

Well Ive always been able to get my haircut there and Ive always made an appointment because theyre very busy definitely worth the wait but recomendable to make an appointment and its in and out Ive been going there for 30 years and Im born and raised in Los Angeles never had one problem everybody there is professional especially the owner mr. Garcia also his son and Mister Juan really recommendable and I give the five stars I go I live in Monterey Park now and I still go do the same place because they know exactly what theyre doing there very professional and they even do my my my kids now I have two boys

As of right now I was next in line and the old man barber didnt want to cut my hair but a person of Latin decent came in and he decided to give him a cut, we shall see if this goes from 1 star to 4 depending on the cut. So they cut my hair real nice gave me exactly what I wanted

First haircut I got from here was bad but since I live right around the corner I gave them another shot and both times the barbers were rude . Im a very calm person so I dont like to be rude back . The lady made fun of me for having Chinese eyes and for not understanding Spanish much like wow . I just let her say all that and left . Definitely wont be coming back .

I went there for the first time and the guy in charge of that place works based on the racial profile of the people, if you are pleasing to his sight he gives you attention if he does not ignore you, as he did with me and others at the time, very sad but true .
