Great deal for a good cut and very friendly staff

Cool oldschool simple barbershop. I waited for about 45min since I didnt have a appointment and 1 out of the 3 barbers was out to lunch. I showed Cesar the barber a picture of how I wanted my beard trimmed and he did exactly that. He took his time and paid attention to detail. Pice was normal $25

The barbers here are professionals. While I accompanied my man, I was also watching other barbers while they work & they do clean, detailed cuts. The barber that my guy got was actually a woman (didnt get her name) but she did amazing job following to what he wanted. Her attention to detail was great. If youre in the area just looking for a fresh buzz, this is the place for a good price.

When I first moved to LA I searched for a barber shop. I went through 6 barbers before finding Rios Barbershop. I was very happy to see that they can do a fade. The previous 6 barbers had butchered my fade. But Rios got me back on track and looking good. Thanks Rios!

Not my favorite experience. We waited a while and it was expensive for a medium-quality haircut.

They were open early on a Sunday. The shop was very clean. The people were very friendly. The lady that cut my hair did a really good job. The price was more than fair at $20. I hate to say it but Im being honest. The service was worth more. Finding a good barber is like finding a good dentist. Maybe harder. This place is worth a try. Ill definitely be back.

Tucked away in the quaint corner of National sits some real talented barbers . I can vouch for Mike who is one heck of a barber and does it for a portion of what youd pay at a salon. Hes also there pretty much every day as early as 630am. Parking can be challenging on the street, and beware of the parking enforcers, theyre always around.

The barber was really friendly and helpful when I asked him what his recommendations were for my hair and everything. They definitely won over a loyal customer!

Great place to cut your hair. Same owner for over 27 years. Yes I been going here for 27 years to get my haircut. Real barbers, they take their time and cut your hair right. All the barbers are good but My preference is Rios ( the owner ) or Mike. Be prepared to wait at least an hour or 2. If you dont like waiting be there as soon as they open. Very known barbershop by locals. They know how to do a real fade not like other places I been to. Prices are $20 for adults. $17 for kids last time I was there. Check before going. And guys please tip your barber this is how they make their living.

Always a great cut at an affordable price. Cash only! (ATM across the street). Been a bunch of times during the day during the week and you still may need to wait a few. As well I can imagine parking being tough if you go in the evening or on the weekend. Good conversation, staff is awesome!

Classic barbershop. Simple, no-frills set up and highly skilled barbers. I didnt even know I wanted a hard part until one particular barber took the extra time to help me figure out my custom cut. Since then, at least three different barbers have precisely carved that line with a straight razor. Skills! Great value as well.

Ive been going here for a couple of years now, and I love it. I always get a good cut at a good price. Its not expensive as others have said; maybe they arent used to LA prices because Rios is actually very competitive.

Great barbershop at a reasonable price. Mike and Rio are the best barbers with a few customers usually waiting for their turn for a haircut. The others are decent taking the ones not waiting for Rio or Mike. There is some street parking with meters, but watch for the street cleaning schedules.

I cant say enough good things about Rios Barbershop. In the day and age of $50 mens haircuts in LA (no, I dont want a cocktail or massage with my haircut!), its very refreshing to find a no-frills, down to earth barbershop.Ive had my hair cut by 3 or 4 different barbers at Rios, and every time it has been flawless. And for $20 its an absolute bargain!

Being new to the LA area I had no idea Id have so many options to get my haircut. I stumbled upon Rios and I must say, my search is over. Ridiculously skilled and attentive to detail. The skill and the price are not to be beaten.

My man, Mike is a real artist. Hes taken care of my hair for years. He takes so much time to perfect the cut. Its a real craft for him. For only $15, its crazy cheap, and guys tip him at least $5 and stop being so cheap! But, be prepared to wait for him. Hes got a lot of customers.

It can get crowded at times but usually half the people are waiting for their favorite barber. Things move along faster if you just go with the next available barber. Their barbers all do a great job.

I dont understand why some of this reviews complain about the price, go to Supercuts or any other barber shop. The prices are about the same or more expensive. And a lot of this places dont even know how to do a fade.Stop being cheap, if you want a great haircut at a competitive price, then this is the place. Just be prepared to wait. Check google, it tells you the times its less busy. Parking is limited.

The shop is small and the barbers are friendly and professional. They take as much time as needed to give you the style you want. They want to make sure you are satisfied and happy with your haircut.

This place is the greatest ! Look my son is 6 and my aunt cuts hair but every time she cut his hair he cried. My brother Henry goes here and he told me to bring my son here to see if he would cry. Well, I tried it. Mike is my son and Husbands OFFICAL BARBER! Mike lines the hair up so good and its not a crooked line either, its straight and well groomed. My son never has cried once sitting in Mikes chair. Plus we take care of Mike after and he takes care of all 3 of my boys with suckers after. WE LOVE MIKE AND WE LOVE RIOS BARBER SHOP! IF THERE IS A LINE ITS WELL WORTH THE WAIT !
