I initially contacted Kevin to bid on the hazardous material removal on an old Victorian house that we needed to demolish in downtown Los Angeles. Kevin arranged for the 3rd party testing, promptly removed the hazardous materials, and came in under budget. Realizing that we had never done anything like this, Kevin offered to oversee the entire demolition of the house. He worked with the City, pulled all the proper permits and brought in an excellent demolition subcontractor. We had some historical designation issues that had to be cleared up, but Kevin always stayed in contact and when we were given permission to proceed he and his team acted swiftly. He was on site everyday fixing any issues, keeping the demolition exactly on schedule and on budget. Kevin is a pleasure to work with and if i ever needed services like this again, he would be the only one I would call.

Kevin Nielsen is a true professional. I reached out to five companies (some referrals and other through Yelp reviews) to remove approximately 2,100 sf of popcorn off of the ceilings of my new home. Out of the five, only four companies returned my calls. Out of those four, only three even sent me quotes. Out of the three, Nielsen Environmental had the best responsiveness (to both email and phone), best rate, best availability and best turnaround time. I called Kevin on a Monday and emailed him the results of the asbestos testing that had already been done, received a quote Monday night, gave him the thumbs up on Tuesday and signed the contract and met him in person by Wednesday. The other two companies quoted me 4-5 days and 7 days for a job that took Kevin and his crew 1.5 days to complete. Everyone was incredibly nice and hard working and the place was left very clean when they left. Very glad to have found Nielsen Environmental.

When I called Nielson Environmental, Kevin answered the phone, provided a quote based on the reports I sent him and came out the next day with his crew. They went above and beyond the scope of what we initially discussed and yet didnt charge me extra. They did a beautifully thorough job cleaning up the asbestos and they put my mind at ease about the safety of my home. I recommend them whole heartedly!!

If youre in the need for abatement services, Kevin should be your first call. I called other competitors before reaching out to Kevin and he beat them out on customer service and price. Other places said my job was too small, had terrible customer service, closed for business or just gave me a flat quote. Kevin on the other hand took his time to know more about my situation and asked me to provide the asbestos report before moving forward. I called him on a Tuesday at 545pm and 2 hours later he had sent over a written quote and was schedule to start the following morning.The following day, he was on time, professional and did the job quickly and removed everything as promised. I will definitely use him in the future.

I found Kevin through Yelp. Kevin responded to my call with a proposal within 24 hrs. After dealing with a non responsive subcontractor referral for 3 weeks it was such a relief. We immediately set up a date for asbestos vent pipe removal and he removed a crawlspace vent pipe that extended outside and went up through the roof. Took him 2 hours. Straight forward and quick work. Lesson learned - dont wait for more than 48 hrs (during the weekday) for a response from anyone. My project was a single family residence, just after recent purchase.

Literally within a day of contact he was at our new house removing all the popcorn ceilings and getting all the aspestos out of our new home. Easy to talk to over text/phone. Easy to get ahold of.
