The staff was caring and responsive. I felt genuine care as they were always concerned about my comfort and well being. They are flexible and reasonable with payment and a great launching pad for struggling artists. Would recommend to anyone looking to make it in LA.

807 is a really great place to stay at while you’re first getting set up in Downtown LA, it’s clean, the other tenants are really cool. You get the chance to network and discover new found passions. A definite life savor if you’re new to the area!

807 is a great and special place. First, the other tenants are simply amazing; From the weekend parties, laser tag, fun games, and pot lucks! 807 is a melting pot of artist of all mediums, and individuals from all walks of life. So many stories and bonding moments to be had. Kelvin has been great during this pandemic. For example, Kelvin has house keeping daily and weekly to clean the entire house. If you are new to Los Angeles or you want a networking opportunity with other awesome artist and industry folk this is great start! Thank you KELVIN for all that you have done!

My son stayed at Artist Housing for the past 5 months. The location was very convenient for him and the monthly rent cant be beat for Los Angeles. Also, he met a great deal of creative interesting people during his stay. It was a good networking opportunity for him. Overall, Artist Housing is highly recommended

Staying at the artist residency for a little under two months was an awesome experience! Everyone there was interesting, different and friendly. The facilities come with a gym, artist work areas, music studios, kitchen, gaming room and plenty of storage area.It is in the middle of downtown which is probably the most important factor in making it a great place to stay. Two blocks away from Whole Foods, half a block from Ralph’s with all the restaurants, coffee shops and fast foods you could want nearby. 5 mins from the staples center and a shopping mall.

Great place to live. Awesome people, facilities, and just all around perfect. Only reason I am moving out is because LA is so populated and the COVID-19 pandemic worries me. Other than that I hope there will be a spot for me when this is all over!

Great offices spaces to make music, film, illustrate. Gym area is also a great place to dance and work out. Really diverse group of housemates, my experience here was really good. Kelvin is a super nice chill person. The theater and the kitchen were nice common areas to meet new people and also play games and watch TV. Overall good experience.

I spent two months at this house, and I enjoyed it very much. The people that live there are all very friendly, easy to get along with creative types from all over. The location can’t be beat as you are in the heart of downtown LA. I don’t have a car, which makes accessibility  even more important, less than a block away you have Metro and Expo line and many buses. Supermarkets, Bars and Parks are all within 5 minutes walking. If you are new to LA the dorm style accommodations are a great way to make friends and keep the costs low. The house also has quite a few useful amenities. There is an open office space, game room, cinema and gym room. All in all this a great spot! Would definitely suggest for anyone looking for something in this price range.

Aside from being in a great location, and the beautifully renovated rooms the staff is what sets this hotel apart from the rest. Everyone I came in contact with could not do enough to make my stay any better than it already was. The rooms are bright and spacious with great thought to detail. I do plan on returning to this amazing city and most certainly to the Artist Housing.

It has been a great springboard for me to get settled in Los Angeles. I am grateful that Artist Housing exists. There are people from all over the world. Many different people to listen to their stories and create some memories. The On Demand cable is pretty awesome too lol.

I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I intentionally planned to live here for a couple months and I just moved out three years later. This is a perfect place to live if you dont know anyone in the area. You are a couple blocks from LA live and what seems like an endless sort of bars and stuff to do. Highly recommended for newcomers of the west coast.

As someone from a small town, living here blew me away. Theres always someone interesting here from all different walks of life, issues were handled in a timely manner, and this is just an all-around great place to live. Youre in the heart of downtown, never a block or two from something interesting.

Do you love bedbugs and roommates that keep you up at night? This is the place for you!Edit: I had two cats. Another person had two cats. Another had one. Another had two dogs. The one with two dogs was there rent free to clean. I had fine credit, I just needed a place fast. And paid the price. As I recall, you dont have the place anymore because you were told to stop renting out a commercial location for residential purposes. Guess the fake store front of your girlfriends clothes stopped working. I moved to get away from that hellish situation of bedbugs you tried to kill with baby powder.

Affordable, convenient, and fun!I love the super-sociable living environment, I get to meet so many like-minded individuals. Its very close to colleges like FIDM and USC. Location is perfect for me.Networking with fellow artists has been awesome since Im new to town.I save money on rent, the gym (which is located in the building for free), and I dont have to trek to the library to use a computer and office space. Free storage, and beautiful showers. The property manager is very reasonable and is nice enough to work with tenants on things like late fees. Its sad that kids with no real-world experience try to take advantage of him and leave bad reviews because they dont understand how business works and how harsh the real world is. If you pay your rent on time and are respectful to others, youll have a great experience!
