Horrible customer service!! An individual submits their application and Sandra DOES NOT CARE to respond to a potential Tennent. Then she is not available for days and a RUDE Maintenance staff member Nancy (answering calls) has attitude. SO not worth it...

This management company took over after the property sold in June and dealing with them has been a nightmare since. We have pest control issues in our building and they are not reliable on following through with the people they contract and what was supposed to be getting handled in July it is now mid August and my apartment that I have paid rent for this whole time has been inhabitable and unsafe. I am disabled and had to seek emergency temporary accommodations because all local hotels and AirBnBs were booked. This has been a giant nightmare.

The worst property management I have ever experienced. Ofelia was in charge of our property when we signed our lease and with continued issues; gas leak, broken hot water heater, kitchen sink plumbing issues, missing mail box, roof leaks, unexpected fumigation, etc, she was never available she never replied to our email requests or constant attempts for phone calls. Juana was then appointed our new property management of reference, same circumstance as Ofelia with any emails or communication or needs for the property days would go by and no assistance. The property owners Andrea Manners and Patrick Peterson, landscaped the unit with over grown weeds. The renovations inside of 2600 Michigan Ave are very cheaply done, the walls are completely painted dry wall they crumbled while installing curtains, considering the until has no blinds, and is fully exposed to the sidewalk. The main bathroom door leaks and the glass door seal broke within a week of moving in. There is gapping in the front door entrance in which a door sweep must be installed to keep out roaches. We had not known who the owners were at the time of signing the lease, but can say the renovations of the unit we lived in and the units on the same property are modeled to attract and further the gentrification of Boyle Heights. Unfortunately we were in a bind and need a place close by due to the pandemic when we moved in. Be weary of this property company and the clients they are hired by.

Im a tenant and their policy is to drop the rent check into a slot on the front door rather than pay it directly to the onsite manager at my building. When THAT was the procedure, Id get a receipt on the spot. Now ...After several days to a week after I deliver my payment by hand as described above, I STILL have to call the office and wait while Im on hold until I speak to the person who handles those duties.Worst come been is your payment gets lost in the shuffle and you get an email notification about late payment ? !Management needs to do better .....Much better !

Avoid Alliance Property Management at ALL costs!!!One of the worst companies to ever do business. My family has been on both sides of renting apartments/houses (customer & client) for 25 years. Never have I seen a business that operates on such terrible service and professionalism. They dont respond to maintenance requests.I tried multiple times (about 5 times) to get a sink repaired in one of the bathrooms. The maintenance guy came out once to take measurements and then never returned. I tried contacting the maintenance guy and he said he would come back next week (said that 3 times and never came back). They are very inefficient. The office operates on their own schedule. It takes the office 2-3 weeks to reply to an email and when you try to contact them by phone, they never answer. Once you sign the documents, they all of a sudden disappear. We had cockroaches in our apartment (a good amount of them). It took them almost 2 weeks to get someone out to the apartment to get the cockroaches fixed. Just very inefficient and dont care about the tenants at all.Cleaning/security deposit:The lady in the office said that every apartment floor (carpet, tile, etc.) must be cleaned after move out. This is deducted from the security/cleaning deposit, no matter what. Then I proceed to ask her is it ever possible to get the FULL deposit back, and she goes on to tell me yes, she has seen people get the FULL deposit back before. Doesnt make ANY sense!!! She is contradicting herself and giving out false information to the tenants. This company is their for you in the beginning, but once you sign the documents, they disappear and take your money. They dont care about your needs but rather the money they are getting from you.If I were you, I would NEVER do business with this company!!! Stay far away!

I had been in the property management business for over 30 years, only went outside when I started to have less properties. besides managing my own, Alliance is the 4th company I am using. Compared to all 3 others, his company is far the best of the one I used. Managing properties is not an easy job. Tim, Ofelia, Karla, Chris and the rest of the staff do a satisfactory job. I do recommend this company to others.

Ive used Alliance to manage properties that I have an ownership interest in. I find that they are honest in dealing with the costs of rehab and work well with the tenants and the city to help resolve any tenant issues. Tim and Ofelia are both honest and reliable.

First of all, they are Totally unresponsive to any issues or questions that you have- I had to call the “emergency” number 8 times over 3 days to get someone to come and fix a broken window that was in urgent need of repair. We also waited at least a month in the middle of winter for someone to come and fix the heating system. Then my roommate was moving out so they said I needed to create a new lease (starting immediately) which they increased in price by $700 per month! (An increase of over 30% of the total rent!)As a result, I am glad that I moved out and would never recommend anyone to enter an agreement with alliance.

Several attempts to try and reach them including emails and got no response! Finally today, I was able to set up an appointment at 2:00 with Ben who said he didnt want to go back and forth to the unit.. I arrived at 2:14 p.m. I texted him at 2:18 to let him know I was there and he said he left 10 minutes ago! How unprofessional of him to just leave with out a grace period.. I am so disgusted by this company! I could just imagine how they respond to emergencies while being a tenant!Good Job Ben!Sincerely,Annoyed!

Just the worst property management company.I know how bad they are because I lived on the property before they showed up. Right off the bat, they were difficult, more often than not they didnt return calls, they charge a $90+ late fee if paying on the 2ND OF THE MONTH (which is potentially unlawful), charge a convenience fee to pay on their horribly designed website (the only other option is mailing them a check which means you better mail it a few days before, otherwise youre paying a ridiculous fee), somehow they hire workers that consistently show up with bad attitudes (I dont even know how to explain this one and strange that I even have to write it, but it is a recurring theme, and overall they have made some questionable decisions in terms of improving the property as well as failing to make sure these projects get finished (usually they only get half done). With all that said and, again, being charged an exorbitant late fee on the 2ND DAY OF THE MONTH that strictly goes to this company (not to the owners of the property), to me, shows they couldnt care less about the property, its owners, or the tenants. They only care about making money (nothing wrong with wanting to make money, but Alliance clearly doesnt care about quality of service.)I loved this property infinitely more before Alliance showed up, and all I can do is hope that the owners somehow get rid of them. This seems unlikely since Alliance was the one who reached out to the owners and convinced them to acquire their services. And since the owners of the property dont know how to use the internet, they didnt see the terrible reviews this failure of a company receives, otherwise we might be with a good property management company, and all would be well.
