From the time you step on the plane and sit down into your super plush seats you have exactly enough time to download one episode of your favorite Netflix episode (one hour max) with your mint mobile unlimited plan. At which point youd still have aprox 15 minutes to spend as you wish as you enjoy the view out the plane windows and the rowdy people. Have a happy flight and enjoy the lovely seats while you Netflix and chill. Remember friends, no smoking on the plane and dont record anything on world star airlines.

THE LADIES ON THAT FLIGHT DESERVE RECOGNITION FOR HOW COMFORTABLE YOU MAKE PPL - y’all keep it up!ALSO...THE PLANE WAS IMMACULATE CLEAN! American Airlines would have window smudges left from the last flight and no where near as tidy and detailed as the plane I rode today with SPIRIT!———-hook em up with a raise or bonus——-First time I have ever flown with SPIRIT and won’t be the last! I just wish your seats were a little more comfortable. They’re hard and stiff compared to most!
Overall, a good trip. The first flight from Ohio flight attendant service was a bit poor and not friendly. The second return flight from Los Angeles was better the flight attendants made the flight enjoyable. It might had to do with training of employees across the company.I do appreciate a no stop flight. Yes, seats are hard.😁Coffee and view was great!
Only good for cheap ticket. Otherwise, uncomfortable chairs. And if u think about bagging and selective seats, choose the another higher airline, cuz the price will be the same.
Goggle needs a zero for businesses like this.It was HORRIBLE!Imagine 3 hours of a loud dog barking non stop next to your ears. Thats what this flight was.There was that loud barking noise coming from the landing gears area under the floor board. It was worst when we landed.I got off the stupid plane with a pounding headache.On the return again the same noise during taxing but this time it stop once we were in the air.
-If you okay with having your FLIGHT DELAYED all the time then take Spirit.-Their employees are liars and rude.I got stuck at security and arrived 14 minutes prior to departure and they said I couldn’t get on the plane as it left already. How did it leave 14 mins PRIOR from departure????Emanuel was the person at the desk and he was unpleasant to talk to.-They rebooked my flight to 12 hours later which got Delayed by an additional hour; which further got delayed. I had to sit at the airport for more than 13 hours!!!HORRIBLE SERVICE; will NEVER take Spirit again.ZERO STARS!!
I used to fly Spirit exclusively and I fly at least once every couple weeks for work. The last month has been the worst flight experience Ive ever had. Delayed flight, cancelled flights, lost bags, damaged bags, incorrect tickets, long lines, no control of passengers and over pricing for everything. All combined with horrible customer service. When they lost my bag they gave me a card and told good luck. They dont care for their employees or their customers so I will never fly Spirit again. Congrats Spirit, you lost a frequent flyer.
Ill never fly Spirit again after my flight was changed multiple times. The last time it changed was 5 hours before my flight, at 11 pm (good thing I was looking at my phone), and they forgot to add the second leg to my changed flight time (they overlapped). After being on hold for 2 hours (now 1am), the agent asked me what was my connecting city, as if he couldnt see what was going on. 1 1/2 hours of sleep, I left on an earlier flight than planned. The flight was almost 5 hours and they charged $3 for water.
We all know Spirit airlines are generally cheap but that’s pretty much all they got going on for them. Barely any room to move, no screens, no food. But they do get you from one place to another so…
Dont fly with Spirit, so many ppl complaining means this company is terrible. RUN!!! You will pay $$$ Alot more for attempting to be a bargain shopper. If after reading this you still proceed, thats All on you because you were warned.
Spirit Airlines, what’s even the point? Don’t waste your time flying with them. Seats are hard as a baseball stadium. Customer service is poor. No one cares. They basically up charge you for everything, almost the oxygen you’ll breathe on the flight. 🙄 Never again.
Flight delayed 12 hours before departure. Changed times 4 times and then canceled 2 hours before flight. Due to lack of crew. Desk person was very nice and helpful to everyone.
BYO Air and Water. They charge if your BMI is too high or if you like to take deep breathes.

I was charged twice for my carry on I bought it once through the app then when my husband was carrying it for me the spirt worker told him he would now get charged for the carry on. charged him 65$ and still put it on my confirmation so I paid for the same carry on twice and when I explained to her I had already paid she said yea but your husband is carrying it for you so he has to pay again I felt like she was very unreasonable then I was told to hurry up because they needed to close the flight.

Ive never flown spirit before but I loved both of my flights with them . Thank you for returning me safely to my son. from California to Tampa :) will fly again with you all day! And the cherry on top is the price was amazing

But, you cannot be a minute late, they close the airplane door 15 minutes before departure. Even if you and your baggage is checked in, If you get stuck in security, good luck to you, your baggage will reach your destination and you will be in no mans land.Gate agent: Emanuel at LAX is super rude and lacks empathy even for passengers traveling with kids, just grabs your boarding pass and puts you on the next flight 12 hours later, which SURPRISE SURPRISE!!! gets delayed by another HOUR, just like Spirit. Never Again !!
Spirit is a great guy you but they need to offer seat cushions like what you would put in your outdoor furniture cuz a 3-hour plane ride is too much for my butt
Never fly with Spirit! Ever!!! Worst airline experience ever. I would give zero stars if that was an option. Messed up our flights several times, leaving us stranded at the airport all night and offering no solutions or compensation. They were going to do it again for the second day so I had to cancel my booking and book another flight. This caused a chain reaction of having to eat a hotel reservation, reschedule several flights and plans at my destination. They don’t allow you to carry water on board so you’re forced to buy water from them. The employees are incompetent and don’t even know the basic rules of what you can and can’t carry in checked luggage. I will never ever fly with them again.

Not a bad price, more spacious then American airlines and southwest as far as leg room. Bad part is there isnt any free water or refreshments. Does serve alcohol at your expense for 18 bucks.

I paid over 3,600 plus dollars bundle through spirit.com which was supposed to include rental car, two-night stay and flights to LA from my mother 60th birthday. I arrive to the rental car place waited over a hour in line for them to say they dont have the reservation. I proceeded to call Spirit Airlines waited on hold with spirit for over an hour transfered 4 times for them to tell me they dont see the reservation ;Spirit customer service tells me that I just overpaid for my flight, now how is that possible. Meanwhile there are now no cars available plus we have no choice but to stay in a hotel that is sky-high because we now need to be close to Long Beach and booking same day Lyft for 5 people is $140.00 one way. (We chose Long Beach so that my mother can meet her older biological sister for the first time that stays here). I go back to the airport the manager tells me I have to write a formal complaint and thats all they could truly do at the airport. Spirit Airlines is normal???? I would say zero stars.
Its crazy how Ive been calling spirit airlines for 2 weeks to figure out how to use my credit they issued me. Its very irritating to be going through this. Makes me really want a refund especially if I cant make a reservation. I know I will never buy a ticket from them again. A good customer lost. Ive called so many times they are not about theyre business. Smh
If youre disabled or elderly . I would not recommend flying with spirit. Because no matter how important it is for you to get on early,its not going to happen. PAID zone one members get priority and If you have any carry-ons and you did not fly in Zone one, you Will be forced to check your bag and be ambulated or walk the additional mile to baggage claim. Its just how it goes.I do give a one star to the fact that Spirit is not just going with the every day blue eyed,blond haired thin flight attendants.

Seats were cramped, no regard for the six foot rule. No snack or water, paid less on delta and American and had more space, got snacks and a TV to keep me entertained. They need to go bankrupt or at least fix the issues because they SUUUCK
Prices are good, but thats not why I chose Spirit Airlines. Reason for flying with Spirit was the available time for the flight. Not impressed with the cleanliness of the waiting area of the terminal. Certainly is the combined fault of careless customers, but Spirit Airlines could either hire staff to clean or put some signs... which would ultimately drive up the cost of the tickets, but once again, not a pleasure to wait in an area that is a reflection of a dump site. I havent seen greasier seats in the entire LAX.Credit where is due - good pilots and staff. Thumbs up for that.

Who are these people who rate this airline above 0. I wanted to but then I couldnt write this review. A joke is the way to describe Sprit Airlines. The exorbitant fees for a descent seat, the baggage fees are piracy dollars the most egregious of all is the way they arbitrarily delay flights and if you thought it ended there....how about a 17 hour layover from Colombia to Oakland CA once you get to LA. Thats right folks a 17 hour layover in LA. I waited 17 hours to fly 1 hour after coming from Colombia. Whatever you do dont use a third party to book your trip with Spirit. This airline should be put out of our misery.
Booked a flight for my daughter. Cant beat the price. But if you need to take luggage like a carry on and not a backpack pay for it when you initially book the flight. There will be a 20 dollar difference if you dont. They charge as much for the baggage as the person flying. Its really despicable.

Recline.I have flown many many airlines, I take about 6 flights a year both international and domestic - this was my first time booking on Spirit and I chose this flight from LAX to CLE because it was a direct flight, and a red eye, and I can always sleep on red eyes - until now. If they had mentioned in the description that the seats dont recline I wouldnt have bought the ticket. The guy in front of me struggled for 10 minutes trying to move his seat back. The girl behind me gave in and ordered M&Ms and Gummi bears because I guess she knew that sleeping was futile on this flight that landed at 5am. Other people leaned forward onto their fold out tray in an attempt to get some shut eye but if youre tall like me then thats impossible. Do yourself a favor and dont book this airline. Also, $50 a suitcase whether its carried on or checked. And did I mention the seats dont recline?

But we thought we would be cute and save again cause their tickets are cheap, only to have a late plane, and then board the late plane and after everyone is seated and ready to go, asked of everyone to get off. #CuteI dont normally post complaints, but to any travelers out there this is the plane you want to avoid. Dont be fooled by their cheap prices. Unless, of course any of this sounds fun, then go for it. #SpiritAirlines(On a positive note, we will be flying from Delta and still see my family. ❤)

This was the worst day and experience! Got off work and at the airport at 2pm for 730 flight.Security clearance let me through with my if and a wrong name according to my boarding pass. Somehow when I was filling the ticket info it typed my google info and I get that is wrong but TSA let me through. I get to the gate early finally find a rep and explain that my name is wrong on the boarding pass she was extremely rude was at the counter for the Atlanta flight from Lax on March 19,2021 for 530 pm. Her words “I can give you the corporate number they are the only one who can change this and it is upto the person at 730pm if they let you through” I asked her to please ask a manager she I guess pretend calls and says manager says the same we can’t do anything here not downstairs at the counter either only corporate can change this. Call corporate number for three hours no one picks up! WhatsApp contact them they don’t respond. Comes 730pm last flight for the day to Dallas they don’t allow me to board! Show them I’d credits card everything they say no we are over booked we can’t let you through! Explain again and again more pretend calls no we can’t let you board please go downstairs they can do something! Walk to the counter downstairs and they actually were able to change everything! What was this drama for why do this to a customer who is telling you themselves that something is wrong please help me for five hours straight why why can’t you hire and train the right people! They have me on standby know for tomorrow I am actually going to take it and give everyone the feedback!
Ive been upset since the booking process after I was forced to pay $8 after trying to get a refund for a cheaper ticket with free carry on or price match to shorten the original Lay over time of 20 hours. I called to get a refund or Price match. I have no need for credit that you tried to give me because I Dont travel much this was a one time trip so I Dont plan on flying any time soon. So I need my money back or a price match with a free carry on. So after being dissatisfied with booking and forced to pay more money for a shorter layover when I called for a refund or Price match. Then I get to the airport my flight left and I was forced to pay $100 to get on my flight to Chicago the following day. And still have to pay $45 for a bag so I ended up paying Soo much money when I was trying to get a refund or Price match for a ticket I found on Priceline for $158, free carry on 3 hour lay over instead of 20 hours. So instead of savings a few hundred dollars I was FORCED to pay an extra fee hundred dollars AND STILL HAVE TO PAY $45 FOR A BAG. I am very dissatisfied and unhappy with my Spirit experience. I WILL VISIT YOUR WEBSITE AND OTHER REVIEWS WEBSITES AND URGE READERS AND REVIEWERS NOT TO EVER USE SPIRIT AIRLINES. Worst airline experience ever. They changed my flight after I booked so I had an 11 hour layover. They will fee you to death! Your ticket includes your seat that’s literally it. You pay for every bag including small carry on bags. Checked bags and small carryon bags carry a fee. If your checked bag is over a certain weight that’s another fee on top of the checked bag fee. When they say you can bring a personal item on don’t believe it. I had to leave my carryon behind and put my things in a grocery bag for them to let me on without charging me $70. Soda on the flight is a fee. Worst customer service ever. I will never make the mistake of booking a flight with them again and hopefully my review will save someone else from making the same mistake.

Spirit is a roller coaster airline, never knows what comes after you buy a ticket, one day is a delay, another a cancel fly or you need to pay for oxygen.

Smooth take off and smoother landing. If you are familiar with Spirit, you know there arent any bells or whistles. Bare price for bare flight. If you know what to expect, then youll rarely be disappointed.

Really easy process: booking, checking in, boarding. I had no issues. Flew Spirit several months ago and my flight was delayed 3x then finally canceled. They offered me a replacement voucher and, even though it was a potentially stressful situation, it was still an easy process. They have Extremely reasonable and therefore attractive prices. And their customer service is great.

You get what you pay for. They get the job done (usually - unless they cancel unexpectedly) which means they get you to your destination. However, the seats arent the comfiest. So if you have a longer flight you may want to consider upgrading your seats. Also, you may want to consider taking a drink and or some snacks, because there isnt anything complimentary with this airlines.

The only reason this company gets 2 stars is due to pricing, never taken a flight with them, never will.Customer Service is a shell game, designed to wear you down jumping thru hoops, even getting a correct or active contact number was tedious, the first change reservation hold for a live person hung up on me, went back in the SA web portal and finally navigated my way into a cancellation, of my 110$ trip then when received given a credit good til May 2021, then informed to start the process over again by sending an email to get the 8 bucks back from there own flight insurance... Spirit? What kind of spirit is this airline running with? It is obvious 🤭🤭🤭, consequently... Ill never fly Spirit Airlines, ever. -d

We missed our flight by 1 minute. The crew running the gate was really rude. They just told us we had to reschedule our flight and walked away. They didnt give us any information on how we go about rescheduling the flight or getting our luggage when we got to our destination. They really need to learn customers service.

Cheap fares. Planes are new and clean. Customer service spotty. Downsides: You may wait hours on hold if you need customer service. Everything beyond the bare fare costs extra.
