The gym is clean, membership rates are low, the 24 hour availability is convenient, the staff is very nice and the weight machines are great quality. However, I did not like the extremely loud music, I missed the touch screens from my previous gym on cardio equipment and the machines were often crowded. (I know this seems contrary to the picture attached. I did not want to invade the privacy of others). This is a great choice for some, but if you like a calmer, less crowded atmosphere, this is probably not the place for you.

Nice clean. Good equipment. Can be a bit over packed at times but nice facility. The picture on Facebook or Instagram for that specific location does not represent that store. The pictures they post for that specific are of other locations not of their location. Would like to see more stocking of the paper towels. Great place a

First gym I’ve been to in years! As most beginners I was nervous. Felt like the new kid in school. But the staff are extremely helpful and definitely answer any questions I have! The kids area is also cool. My son loves it and enjoys coming back. The equipment is also great! They are clean, easy to use with instructions. Even in the weight sections they have plenty of things! The environment and the vibe is also great! I truly feel like no one is judging you, people mind their own and do their own thing. My favorite part is the hydro massage after the workout. I’m very happy with this establishment and staff!

We joined as Silver Sneakers members. The staff was so very helpful and welcoming. A big shout out to Adrien and Dillon! Adrien is a regional manager and just happened to be at this location today. I hope I spelled his name correctly. He is an excellent representative for Crunch Fitness. Dillon and Missy are equally as kind and professional. We thought the facility clean and well organized . We enjoyed the music playing. It saves us the trouble of bringing our own music. Great workout music. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our workout and the clean surroundings. We are elderly and felt right at home because there was a large variety of people. Also there are tables and chairs to take a break during your workout. We highly recommend Crunch Fitness.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NOBODY TO GO TO THIS GYM! The manger is straight up rude she called me from the number listed on google for crunch fitness and I called back and I she wouldn’t talk to me then she ended up calling me on another phone number early in the morning which was last week I called her once I got up she declined my call I called her again today and told her who I was and said ok and hung up in my face then block me but long story short I cancel my membership with them because they charge me over 40 dollars on my credit card when they wasn’t supposed to in May when I called about the refund she claim they already did it in June which they did not and I call one week and one of the employee told me that they haven’t did my refund at all so long story short they won’t refund you your money when they make a mistake on their end and they won’t try to get in contact with you I been calling for two months straight and I have gotten no where with these people

I dont recommend calling and inquiring about your paycheck to a manager,(Lindsey)you will either get put on hold or be told they will call you back tomorrow and get hung up on mid sentence. Lol. Its been almost a month I didnt work there like Cinderella for free🥴Or did I?? The employees definitely need better social skills.

Id give a 0 if I could. Ive tried to be nice but Im done. First off do not trust the daycare! My 2 year old daughter escaped and was found outside of crunch building inside another store. Now Ive been trying to cancel my membership for two months and they keep charging me never offering a refund. This gym is trash dont trust them. Keep your kids safe.

Honestly this is a great gym, and the managers take there jobs seriously but I had an individual experience that just makes me not even want to walk in. I will be going to a different gym soon which is a shame because it really is one of the better gyms Ive been to.Ive got at least 6 of my friends to sign up and I feel like I cant train with them anymore do to this issue.

We cancelled our membership in December and they neglected to acknowledge the cancellation until June. After they automatically billed our credit card for the annual fee. They are dishonest. Careful giving your bank information to them. They do not cancel your membership upon request.

Overall, not a bad gym. The equipment is new and clean, but like many other people have said, a lot of people love to set up camp on the equipment. I did cardio for 40 minutes and then a light workout and the same dude was still at the squat rack lol. I would just say going during non peak times, and then its better.

Facility is huge and is kept pretty clean. The classes are good and informative. Tanning beds are state of the art and sanitized regularly. If you havent tried the hydro-massage yet, you must! Best facility with the best prices, in my opinion. I hate that its always busy whenever I go, but thats what happens when youre the best gym in Longview. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Crunch fitness Longview is like the hotel California. You can check out, but you can never, ever leave. Their cancellation policy includes having to stop by in person or send a certified letter. If you stop by in person to cancel your membership, not just anyone will cancel it. They will tell you to come back. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone, respond to emails, or return a phone call. You will receive the run around and no replies. After two weeks of this, I finally received a reply stating that a certified letter is required, 30 days notice, etc. As a college student who has left the city and is not returning, I cannot visit in person and when I did, I was unable to cancel. Do not sign up for this scam of a fitness center. Or, if you do, you will be there for life, with yearly fees and monthly feesbeing debited without your consent.

They advertise “no commitment” but when you try to cancel they will say they need a 30 day notice. They will even try to charge old cards you used to pay for the membership when the first one doesn’t go through. Even if you give them a “30 day notice” they will still try to charge you. I really did like their gym but just stopped going as often.

Make sure they explain to the fullest about getting your 16 yr old a peak membership. (I even asked so many questions I think the guy thought I was just being rude.) THEY ARE NOT ALOUD TO BRING A FRIEND THATS UNDER 18 UNLESS THEIR PARENT SIGNS A WAIVER.(I completely understand as far as liability goes but something should have already been said.) This was never told to us until tonight.... All though that friend has been there 2-3 times prior to tonight. This is the second problem Ive ran into with this membership.

The only way to describe this gym is the Walmart of gyms. Their billing falls short of my expectations. I am constantly receiving text about a payment not going through right after it had gone through. Was changed one day then 20 days later was charged again. I guess 20 days in monthly to them. Other than that Crunch has a great atmosphere and good employees.

Great place for a work out! BUT!!!! Good luck trying to get your whole work out done in a hour. Other members like to sit at the benches and make home there, not allowing others have the opportunity to get thier stuff done.

Stay away!! Do not trust these people with your money! My brother cancelled his membership earlier this year and the lady on the phone claimed we dont own the bill anymore after they sent him to collections. She also stated that there was miscommunication in person regarding cancelation. Are you kidding me?? What part of CANCEL do you not understand??? If you were the ones that messed up, he shouldnt be responsible for it in the first place! Youre going to lower my brothers credit for something that YOU GUYS screwed up!!

Great gym alot to offer and you not locked into a contract

Gym nice but accounting sucks. While close I was charge $78 annual fee. So on reopening May 18 I cancel. Well June 1st they charge me for April and May $64. Talk to Kevin only wanted to refund $32. Would not give full refund or money back on annual fee that I only use 1 month. Never will join a gym have no control of billing is what I was told!

Very rude staff. They rather stand around and talk to each other then wait on customers or clean beds. I asked to talk to the manager bout being ignored on several occasions. Disappointed when I found out it was the manager ignoring me.

The workout facility at Crunch Fitness is spectacular, and the people working there are even better. The manager, Kevin, was particularly helpful. I appreciate his extra effort to make his gym an exceptional workout facility.

We were members at another gym and wanted to give them a try. Thinking of switching. Facility was nice and well equipped. They had a trial special for a month like for less than a $1, so me and my daughter signed up. This was a week before covid shutdown hit so we probably went a total of 4 days. Well after gym opened up like 2 months later I called to cancel only to find out that there was a yearly charge. i explained what happened and was told that you have to give a 30 day notice when cancelling, otherwise you would be charged the yearly fee. Well I was never informed when signing up that I had to do that. That would mean that the day I sign up would be the day I want to cancel. makes no sense. well I covered that payment and thought it was all settled until my daughter started getting calls from them about an unpaid balance. I called and was told that she had a separate account even though I explained that I had canceled. there again, I was never told that she was under her own account so that means another yearly fee. She was also being charged another month on top of that because a month had gone by since I had canceled my membership. i have since finished paying them off to keep from being turned in to a collection agency. They are crooks and be cautious if you decide you want to try them out for a month. If they offer a special for trying it out for a month make sure to cancel your membership the same day, otherwise you will get screwed. Im out about $150 for 4 days of working out. They are crooksPS I just received a letter from a collection agency. Thought this was all settled but apparently it wasnt. Had to go up there and speak to manager about the whole thing. He was apologetic and removed any other charges and is supposed to email collection agency. What a headache!

Update from 1 star to 4 stars on 3/23/2021 - The general manager (new) fixed the over-billing. Still have an issue with the annual fee and the place can be a little crowded so I took away 1 star.Signed up for a dollar and did not receive the free month promised. I am charged three times more than the $9.95 /mo advertised even though I have never received the free month. In addition, the $9.95 advertised rate doesnt include an annual fee that I was billed right after the pandemic when they first reopened without the stated 60 day period. What was supposed to be a healthy retreat from the daily grind has become an expensive nightmare that the local club says they have no control over. I have been in the club one time and will probably never end up going back.

Was very unhappy with the manager Kevin. He was rude on the phone and over talked me and even said have a nice day and hung up the phone wile I was still trying to ask questions about canceling my membership. Also with the billing department. They dont tell you that when you cancel any remaining time you had you membership frozen due to COVID they will automatically take out without notice. Would not recommend to anyone. Do not support Corporate gyms such as these they dont care about you as a person. They are more worried about getting there money no matter the situation

They misinform you about cancellation policies to squeeze more money out of you. They also misinformed us about the guest policy as well when we signed up. Later they denied misinforming us, the very same person who misinformed us too. Shameful. Anyway their equipment and classes are good but dont trust anything they tell you, read and record every interaction.

I canceled my membership last year with them and still haven’t received my refund I wouldn’t trust giving them your bank information cause once you cancel your gym membership they will continue to take money off you credit I had to open up a whole new account cause they continue to take money off my card after I canceled my membership worst experience ever and the store manager no help at all

Base package gets you the best bang for your buck as far as just using equipment, but they do have more expensive packages that get you more perks, however the equipment is well kept and clean, if something gets broken its usually fixed very quickly, but keep in mind it is a larger gym so it does get a little crowded from time to time

Super nice and clean. Still very new but being and Crunch member for a while now, I can say they do very good about keeping machines maintained and in good working order. Plenty of room and space.

If you go around 6/7pm at night it’s pretty busy but that’s kinda of expected with any gym. The tanning is awesome as well as the hydro massage beds. One thing I wish were different was that they had more lockers with the locks already built in instead of having to bring your own. The only class I have tried so far is Zumba and it was so much fun!

Came in tonight around midnight... prolly my 4th workout and I have to say prolly the best gym Ive experienced... the equipment is new and hits your muscle groups great...great tanning beds hydro massage and sauna... and the guy on duty tonight was ultra friendly and helpful

Charged me during the Covid-19 shut down and then did not credit my acct like they said they would. Then claimed that they never charged me during the shutdown even though there is proof of a charge on my bank statement during that time. When I called to cancel they said that they had to post my membership as cancelled pending and charge me one more time because the cancellation has to be 30 days out. It seems like they will do anything to get the dollars during an epidemic. It very unprofessional do a customer this especially when the customer is a veteran!

This place is new and cheap in every meaning of the word. Cant beat the price, but the equipment is cheap and clearly catered to people that arent serious about working out. Only one fly machine in the whole place? For real?More importantly, the locker rooms are insanely tiny for the size of the place, its very uncomfortable and crowded.Add on the usual problems with undereducated staff and billing issues. (Cant use a credit card to pay, only debit. Is it 1990?)Oh, and there is no way to actually hear the TVs in the cardio area... No headphone plugs, no Bluetooth system, no FM transmission... And no subtitles.Very cheap place overall... they are a cheaper planet fitness.EDIT: Love the passive aggressive reply by the owner. Tells you everything you need to know about the place.

I love this gym everything about it the only problem is I wish it had another stomach crutch machine and the biggest problem is people sitting at the machine on there cell phones I was wanting a machine and after about 10 min of this guy sitting on the machine on his cell not using the machine I ask if I could use it I got a go to hell look and he continued to set there and talk on his phone

Called to figure out child care hours no one answered the phone, so I packed my baby up only to find out that child care doesn’t start till 4. Just wish they’d gone over that when I signed up and had my child with me

Sorry but this review has to be changed. They have billing issues that they won’t correct. I was billed in March & it was supposed to be free for 2 months because of the referrals I brought in. I’ve spoken with them on March 1. They said they would take care of it. I spoke to a mgr. Lindsey or Lauren. Something like that. I also called back & got a Daniel. It’s been 2.5 wks still no money back in my bank account. What’s scary is I read another person’s review about billing. Everyone might want to check their bank accounts.BEWARE OF FRAUD HERE. VERY DISAPPOINTED

So far I’ve had a good experience. A few things I haven’t like is there’s no mirrors close to the cables, so you can’t watch your form easily AND they are the only tanning place in Longview that REQUIRES you to have eye protection and show proof of having it.
