This company has always gone above and beyond to satisfy their customers. They are always super busy but make sure to keep you in the loop even if they have to tell you something is backordered. They always try their hardest to fix you up quickly. I appreciate their honesty. The ladies in the office are awesome. Jon, Kris & Bobby are very outstanding at their job. They will always have my business. I recommend anyone to use this family owned company.

I should have posted this review last year but I kept putting it off. I had our 2007 model Refrigerator repaired by John. He did a great job. Very friendly. We could not find a Refrigerator anywhere that we could take home due to Covid work shortage. John repaired our Refrigerator. We will keep it as long as it works. If it breaks down again. We will call Major Appliance.
Only place I go to. The ladies behind the desks are outstanding not just the customer service but their ability to keep you informed about deliveries, the knowledge about parts, and their commitment to serving you best of their ability.
We have been doing business with Major Appliance for 7 years now and they have always been able to fix our appliances or have the parts for us to fix ourselves!
We called several weeks ago to make an appointment knowing that we were on vacation this week. They told us they were going to be here between 3 and 5. No one showed and at 5:12 I missed a call from them. I immediately called them back (within 60 seconds of missing the call) and it went to VM and said the mailbox was full and couldnt accept messages. Also, I had called this morning to confirm that they were coming and the lady was rude and acted as if I was wasting her time and said of course they were coming. Thank you for wasting my time and afternoon. Is customer service and communication a thing of the past? Dont bother calling them to make an appointment.
No returned call, no show. I probably could saved allot of money on my re$fridge rater but I was forced to buy one at aarons because of theres no such thing as an hones repair place anymore :that cost me 1000 dollars to learn

Technician was supposed to show up two weeks ago, on a Tuesday. Never showed and never called. I called and they said he had an emergency and couldn’t come out, so they rescheduled for that Friday. I called to confirm that day and they said they scheduled it for the following Friday. Friday rolled around and they called to tell me the technician wouldn’t be able to come out and they needed to reschedule for the next Friday. I told them no thanks. If they don’t want to do repairs then they probably need to shut their doors.
Tech. Arrives on 2-8-21 & stated parts for dryer would be ordered. As of 3-22-21 & 4 phone calls made to Major Appliance, I have received no word from this company. Very disappointing.
After several years of using this company to repair our appliances, we will not call on them again. For at least two weeks, Ive been attempting to get our washing machine fixed - an appliance they serviced and supposedly fixed in recent months that never truly was fixed. When I first called, it took at least one week to get a technician out. Once he came he informed me that a part needed to be ordered. I stood next to him while he called the shop to order the part and schedule me for the coming Friday (the original visit was on a Tuesday) for repair between 10 and noon. He assured me he would be calling me that day. I waited at home for his phone call and when it was not received, I called the business. I was informed that my appointment was now scheduled for 10 days later. I asked if the part even came in -- no. I never received a phone call indicating this. When I expressed my disappointment, I was told I would receive a return call from the technician. I never did. This company missed the mark big time on customer service. Needless to say, we will be using another locally owned business for. our future needs.
We’ve had trouble with a Samsung refrigerator since we got it 4 years ago. John our tech came out and had us up and running in less than 45 minutes. He was knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. I can’t express how thankful I am! Dealing with this fridge has caused me countless headaches but not this time! If we have any other repair needs Major Appliance is who we will use!!
I had technician Jon Shaw service my fridge. He worked very quickly and efficiently. You could tell he is someone that takes pride in his work. When he was finished he dusted up and vacuumed out the back of my fridge.He even brought my trashcan up from the street for me. If I could rate more stars I would.

Im not the type to leave reviews, but in this case I just felt inclined given the circumstances. You know that feeling when youre shopping for a part for your car or something else mechanical and you are worried you are getting ripped off? Well in this case thats exactly whats happening. I had the exact part number for the drain pump motor I needed and all other stores on and offline listed the part new for $35 or less. This location wanted almost double and refused to adjust price. Do your homework and just stick to ordering on amazon an waiting an extra day in this case. Would love the opportunity to shop local and if it was a small price difference I wouldnt mind, but unfortunately I cant justify doubling the price of something so simple and common. Best of luck, but this is why small businesses will probably be a thing of the past soon. (Also this is after I had called twice to inquire about the availability of the part, and was told that I would receive a call back. 3 days passed before I just visited the location.)
We had our washing machine develop a leak. I did not know who to call to repair the washer and a friend recommended Major Appliance Service. When I called to schedule the appointment the office was professional and gave me a date and block of time for the repair. I requested to be called ahead of time to meet the repair professional. I receive the call and they arrived on time. The repair professional who came to the house was knowledgable, professional and honest. It was simply a hose that had come lose and needed a clamp. He showed me the problem and fixed it so it would not happen again. He also put the washing machine in the correct spot and took the time to make sure it was balanced when it was spinning. I appreciate a company who is honest and focused on return business. I am glad to find someone to work on appliances that we can trust.
Tech came on Monday and said he needed to get part numbers and get permission to order parts for my dryer. I called Wednesday to follow up and make sure parts were ordered and get an estimated repair date. The person who answered the phone said she hadn’t heard from the tech and expected to see him that day. She said she would call me later with an update. I didn’t receive a call back so I called Thursday and repeated the process. I didn’t receive a call back so I called back Friday and the same story was given. I am unimpressed thus far, but will update this review if I receive exceptional service that changes my mind. While my dryer is not functioning I am having to take clothes to the laundromat.
Treated me like I was a friend. Not only did they fix my dishwasher and dryer for a fair price, they loaned me a brush to clean my dryer vent instead of trying to sell it to me. This business has earned my trust and any future business I may have.
My mother contacted Major Appliance Service about a issue with a washer and a tech was sent out on 09/13/2016. The tech removed a drain hose clamp from the wall then told her that everything was working properly and a plumber was needed since the drain was backing up -$76.69. A plumber came out the next day and unstopped drain- $267. Washer was still acting up called Major Appliance on 09/15 and was told a tech could not be sent out until the next day. The tech came that next afternoon and replaced a lid lock on the washer and said that should fix it and everything checked out properly again- $51.00 (no labor was charged since this was the 2nd visit to fix the same problem) The washer still was not working properly so Major Appliance was called again! The same tech came out and said a gear case was needed and it would have to be ordered. He was asked at that time would this fix the washer or was a new washer needed, he assured us that this would fix it. Tech came back on 09/23 and installed the part -$203.51 (no labor charged since 3rd visit to fixed same problem again) and the washer is still not working properly! Contacted Major Appliance again and was given the run around and basically a I dont care attitude from the lady in the office. I am mostly upset about the lack of communication not to mention spending $331.20 on a problem that still is not fixed!! I still have not heard from them. They havent attempted to call to get a tech out so I know a refund is completely out of the question! I understand that other appointments have been made and must be kept but it would have been good business to at least return a call or acted like they cared that this problem is STILL not fixed but I guess three strikes and Im out. Out of money and definitely out of patience with them. I feel the tech did not know what he was doing and was just guessing but assuring us that the problem was fixed. I will be getting a new washer and will NOT be recommending them to anyone!!

I have received excellent service from Major Appliance Service for about 10 yrs now. The company is family and locally owned. I have not needed their services for several years until last week. I actually forgot about them. I quizzed my friends and neighbors and 5 out of 5 recommended Major Appliance Service. I called for service and they were out the next day. The tech spent about 5 min. diagnosing my ref. told me what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. Had part on truck and we were cooling in 35-40 mins. cleaned up after himself and the estimate was what he said it would be. I wontt be forgetting them in the future. Thanks for a job well done. Wish I could agree with the other positive reviews, it would mean my washing machine had its part replaced and was working. Called them on December 23, technician came out on the 31st. Part was overnighted but would not come until January 2nd due to New Years day. Technician said he would be back on morning of January 3rd. Received call from office on January 3rd saying they would not be here. I called their office on morning of January 6 and the lady in the office said it would be evening of the 7th before they could come back out. I let her know how ridiculous it was that 2 weeks after my first call I still was waiting on washer to be fixed and told them to not come back to my house. Basically if it takes someone this long and I still havent got it fixed how long would it take to get a warranty responded to.
