In 2014 I made a decision to go with ETR with an upper end Trane unit. I also purchased the 10 year parts and labor warranty. Today - 09-27-2021 was the first time I needed them to come out. They were very prompt. Jacob (technician) came in and replaced the thermostat without any issues and answered any questions I had. A warranty is only a good as the ones backing it up. I have ZERO complaints and won’t hesitate recommending them to everyone I know. THANK YOU ETR for providing CUSTOMER SERVICE in a time when it’s very hard to find.
Call ETR Saturday late morning to see if I could get someone to come fix my A/C unit. Jesus the service technician called me back and said that he was completely booked but would do his best to fit me in. Later that evening he called and said that he was on his way. Once he arrived he quickly discovered the blown transformer. ETR being prepared, had the part on his truck. Jesus replaced the part and made sure the system was operating properly before leaving.ETR is the only number that I need for any heating and air needs.
Bradley came out today as the display screen on our Ac thermostat went out. That was due to the fact that the AC drain was clogged in the attic. While he was here I went ahead and signed up for a maintenance package. The value of the package is wonderful. He was here for a long time and there were several things that were broken but that were under warranty for parts. The main thing is Bradley found a gas leak in my attic and tightened the hose back and took pictures to show me. I absolutely want to thank him for saving our life as our house could have caught on fire or worse exploded. How can you say thank you enough to someone that potentially saved your life or your pets life? I am eternally thankful and grateful for this company and for Bradley. They are the ones that put the AC unit in our new home over a year ago and we will continue to use their services. I cannot say enough good things about them!
Came home from trip house was hot. Called my normal AC repair service they couldnt get to me before Friday. Which was two days away. So I went to the yellow pages and ETR was the first company that I called. Lucky they were able to fit me in the same day. Technician came out and worked miracles. He had it up and running in no time. Found out the motor was gone. Had an replacement. And now Im good to go. Thanks James and ETR for your excellent service..

As a former employee of ETR and a former resident of Tyler, I had the opportunity to learn my trade from the best in East Texas. Cannot recommend this company enough. They are always very quick to get a technician out especially in summer when it’s hot! Dylan Wall was the technician they sent and he was so professional and knowledgeable about fixing my system. He got the work done so quickly and the cost is very reasonable. Dylan Wall was great. Came out to check on my AC (I have two units). He determined that I was low on coolant, asked many questions, and found a bad contactor on the second unit while charging it. Nice guy, good service. You do pay for what you get but if you want good service I would recommend.

I had to call after hours because my compressor stopped working. It was nearly 90 degrees in the house. My technician was able to come around 9:30PM & quickly fixed the issue & had my a/c cooling by 10. Very professional & friendly service.
Justin performed a six month inspection on the two AC units and found the Trane working but very dirty. He performed a thorough cleaning of the system. The second unit had a bad blower motor and was low on refrigerant. He ordered the parts and the unit should be working at 100 percent in about a week. Justin is a well qualified technician. He speaks from experience and kept me informed of his progress and repair plan. He is a major asset for ETR.

I called for service at 8:30 Saturday morning and was back up and running before 1:30. Preston showed up with a smile and quickly diagnosed a bad fan motor. He talked me through the options available based on the extremely old age of my unit. I chose the motor replacement and he also did a thorough inspection of the outdoor and attic units. I highly recommend this company for their fast service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and competitive pricing!
After a very hot and exhausting day we came to a very warm house. Its was 5:05p on a Friday and no one was answering their phones. I came across ETR number. MISS STACY was so nice and helpful on the phone and told me she would have a technician out asap. Dylan came a couple hours later and diagnosed out problems and had them fixed in no time. Over priced beyond belief. I literally installed my own minisplit with the exception of connecting the high and low pressure copper tubes. I mounted the compressor, the indoor unit, I did the wiring, I cut the hole in the wall and already routed everything through. The ONLY thing they did was tighten 4 fittings on the copper pipes and pull a vacuum. The cost..? $482.00!!!! Almost the price of the unit itself. NEVER have them do anything without a solid quote first. I was also told on multiple occasions that this would have the hourly charge and thats it since there were ZERO materials they had to provide. I still got charged beyond the hourly for random fees including a vacuum fee. The copper is also routed incorrectly per my instructions and the low pressure tube is kinked. I will have to fix it myself so I can even put drywall up. Total dissapointment.

We had our AC go out on Thursday and had an extremely knowledgeable technician out to our house within 1 hour of calling after hours. Tyron Hunter was not only professional, prompt and courteous to us, but he diagnosed what would have likely been a house fire within a day due to a short in our system. Running up and down the stairs in the heat, he worked tirelessly to diagnose the problem, make sure we were safe until the needed part came in. Explained to us in detail the problem and ensured we understood the issue. Our part came in by Tuesday and we are back in the cool by Tuesday morning. Amazing service and utmost professionalism. Highly recommend these folks and Tyron in particular.
Tyrone Hunter was a GREAT technician that came out on time and he was very courteous and he was very knowledgeable about what the issue was that I was having with my home A/C system. He fixed it quickly and I would strongly recommend anyone using ETR and asking for Tyrone Hunter as their technician to diagnose the problem and then fix it quickly
I have used ETR for years with my restaurants… It finally came time to replace my home unit, and from start to finish it was a great experience! Billy and Jarrod came out to inspect and measure... the bid came out better than the others when comparing apples to apples! They got the units in quick and installation was even quicker! Cory, Dillon, Trey, and TJ were awesome! Every one of them brought something to the table... even Dillon(new guy) had an idea that made sense with something he had done prior! Good job Dillon! They put a 4 ton split unit with line set, a 2 ton ductless and a new thermostat in within less than a day! The team ran like a well oiled machine! The communication from them was awesome! Never felt like I was in the dark on anything! Great experience!

Our air conditioner went out on a Sunday night at 8pm. After calling everyone in town, only ETR had techs available to come out that night. I appreciated the text that came before the tech arrived with his name and picture. I liked being able to see who it would be arriving at my house, especially at night, after hours. The technician, TJ (I think) was able to assess and fix the situation in 45 mins. Prices were MORE than fair for an after hours weekend call. Under $350 for the fix. Definitely putting them on the top of my list to call next time!
Great service from Austin. He was timely, professional, and thorough. Got me out of a bind when I accidentally mowed through the thermostat wiring. If all their technicians are up to par with Austin, then I highly recommend them on these qualities alone.

ETR was very timely, professional, and HONEST. We had another company tell us that we needed to buy a completely new unit because the parts for our 10 year old unit were obsolete. Our technician with ETR Chad, was fabulous. He was able to fix our unit at the time of our appointment. My family’s safety was his first concern-he also found a dangerous CO2 leak with our unit. Their communication with the client is excellent as well. I will 100% use ETR again, and recommend to everyone.

They originally installed the unit in 2018, very professional, cost comparison was excellent. I haven’t had any issues with the unit. Maintenance is great, technician was courteous, ask if I had any questions or concerns. I am please with our decision to go with ETR!
The company was responsive and prompt initially. I had high hopes. Needed a new condenser after having replaced the blower unit only months earlier. Because the brand we have is not the one they sell we were told we would need to replace both at $6200. Just spent $3000 on new blower less than 6 months ago. Was told by tech they could order our brand. Received call shortly afterward from another person and was told the condenser alone would be $6200. Curiously the same cost as their whole new system. Declined their service. Engaged a small mom and pop company that sold the brand we had. Condenser installed for $3500. This to me is truly some shady business tactics. How can you trust a company like this? While the diagnostic team was polite and professional it cannot overcome the tactics used here and thus 1 star. I’d give them zero if I could.

James did a great job. They came shortly after I called to schedule an appointment. I was surprised they could come so fast. In a matter of minutes, James had the problem diagnosed and was able to fix it. He was also very personable and explained things to me and showed me what the problem was.

One of the original thermostats in our home became inoperable in advance of very cold weather. We called ETR and they were able to promptly fit us into the day’s schedule. Our technician arrived promptly, with proper parts, and installed a new and reasonably priced thermostat. He was very courteous and answered all our questions. All now works well!

Clay and another gentleman came out after I noticed my attic unit wasn’t dripping into the pan. They went up into the attic when it was 100+ degrees up there and fixed it right up as well as unclogging our main drain from the attic.
I called other providers yet none were available for same-day service. After talking to a neighbor he referred me to ETR. Keaton showed up on time, diagnosed the problem in a heartbeat, and had all the parts needed to do the repair. I am super pleased with him, the job and will sleep well tonight.

Ait Conditioner drain was stopped up and wayer was leaking through two floors of the house. ETR came right out and repaired the two air conditioning units to stop the eater damage in the house. Excellent work!
Call the company and they gave me a price for an inside and outside unit. The price was really good and they are coming out next week. Very good company
ETR is the best hvac service in this area. They always send trained technicians out who can troubleshoot and repair your systems quickly and professionally. They communicate well, show up when promised, have good people skills to support their tech skills, and charge reasonable fees. They seem to care more about their costumers than other services we have tried.
I’ve used ETR on their oilfield side while I worked in the industry, and they always did great work. I used them today to repair a refrigerator unit in my food trailer, and they did a great job. Got me back up and running with no issues and came in under the initial cost assessment. They’ll be my only service company from here on out! Kudos to the service tech James. From when I called until when ETR arrived was less than 3 hrs on a hot August day Austin resolved the problem which was a contact circuit that fire ants had shorted out and checked the rest of the system that by the way ETR had installed 17 years àgo for what I Think was a reasonable cost ETR and my Tech Austin did a great job

Their service continues to excel. We had our system fail while on vacation and our friend gave them access. The circuit board was not in stock, they ordered the part and it didn’t come in timely. They sourced a competitor, found the board and brought it directly out and installed it to keep us from being miserable over the weekend. Our service technician Keith was as personable as he was professional and knowledgeable. He definitely continues the tradition of service that ETR has demonstrated in the past.

After trying several different AC companies with no luck getting them to come and do a diagnostic I got online and found ETR! I called them and got same day service, they were able to work with my son’s schedule because I was working and unable to be at the house!
