Lived here for 4 years, staff was friendly and we liked most of our neighbors and the neighborhood! The amenities were nice, it was great having a dog park available on site. It can be kind of loud living next to the highway. We moved due to increased prices.

Just moved in to my apartment and so far the experience has been really good. The staff for the building are all really friendly and helpful. The units themselves are modern, well maintained and spacious. The windows for each apartment are huge and the layouts are great. Overall one of the best apartment move in experiences Ive had.

A poor Workplace. I was Hired by this company right before Christmas 🎄 ending my unemployment. I was so happy! Told everyone there I wanted to make this work. Im all in.2 weeks later, literally days before Christmas 🎄. I was returning from my lunch break. Before I could clock back in I was stopped and asked to come into the office. I was told my employment was not working and it was best for the community. I know what I did for the community while I was there. Im happy to share. Anyways, I was terminated. The Manager set out and scheduled an appointment which she did not keep. I stated I would wait. In shorthand of my Holiday Experience with this company emailed me with no need to contact our office again.I was thrown out and left for nothing. I could use assistance. Jason

I would love to say our experience here has been great. The staff is friendly, responsive and the maintenance team is fast. Unfortunately, the homeless population around here is heavy. My car has been broken into now for the second time in 6 months. They are quick to send out an email as a warning but no action has been taken. Although there is lighting, there are no cameras or security patrolling to protect your property and deter criminal activity. I would like to reiterate that the staff has been nothing short of amazing and we truly have appreciated them during our time living here.Edited after reading the rest of the reviews. There is an incentive to write a review before you even move in. If the above review isn’t clear, we actually have lived here for 1 year and 3 months.

Great experience with the front office workers! The young lady that gave us our initial tour was absolutely wonderful and exciting! She answered all of our questions with eagerness and happiness! When all was said and done we were allocated all the information needed to make a prompt decision! The amenities they have are excellent and we’re excited to put in our application for an unit!!

The staff was friendly, and the apartments themselves seemed nice. The balconies were definitely too close together, but thats a personal preference. I dont like realizing that my neighbor could reach out and touch my dog if hes hanging out out there.In the time I was there in the model, there was someone upstairs slamming their front door, and it was super loud and rattled the walls in the apartment I was in. Tells me that the walls are thin and it can get noisy if youre unlucky with who your neighbors are.Otherwise, it seemed nice enough.

We lived at Iron Horse for 15 months after a cross-country move, and from the first day, the Iron Horse staff were welcoming and easy to work with. The location is convenient to downtown Longmont, the Interstate, and the mountains. The apartments are light, comfortable, and well maintained. Any requests were taken care of promptly and cheerfully, and winter snow removal was impressively quick. Our pup loved the dog park almost as much as the dog treats in the office. Thanks for a great experience!

I was truly blown away by these apartments! So much natural light due to the large windows as well as an open floor plan. The staff there are incredible and told me everything I needed to know before making the decision to sign the lease! I could not recommend this place more.

I lived at this complex for two years, and the only reason I left was to move my family into our first home.Words cannot express what a wonderful community Ironhorse built. They hold friendly competitions for ‘most festive patio’ every chance they get. My personal favorite was Halloween! That’s when projectors and spooky ambiance come out to play!It’s situated next to a great neighborhood. Just good people everywhere.Fantastic walking trail that bends into the fields behind the complex. Multiple parks within walking distance.What really sets this place apart is the stunning compassion that these people have for their tenants. Never in my life have I been graced with such phenomenal customer care.I’ll miss you Ironhorse!!!

Its been around 2 months since I have been living here with my wife.I have been impressed by the amenities on offer here, be it the gym, spa or pool. The location is also a plus. A short 2 min walk from the apartment and you can treat yourself some gorgeous views of the rocky mountains. Some units have mountain views. The 1 BR unit is of adequate size and has enough light. So far so good.

Jennifer was incredibly helpful and patient with my wife and I when we went to tour. The complex seems quiet and clean. The pool looks clean and well kept. We looked at many other complexes but this one by far seems like the best value. We put an application in and will be moving in next month.

I have enjoyed my stay so far at Iron Horse. Before moving to Longmont my husband and me looked at a couple of places. This fit the bill for most of our requirements. The check-in process was hassle free. We filled up our lease agreements online. The unit itself is spacious. The sound insulation is up to the mark. Any highway noise is barely audible. The bathroom is spacious and the kitchens well appointed. The maintenance staff have been prompt. All maintenance requests have been responded to, and resolved to satisfaction. Nothing to complain so far.

From the day we applied through this entire year, our experience at Iron Horse has been amazing! Amber knew us (and our daughter and pup) by name and the office planned really fun events often. They have always been kind and accommodating and the apartments are gorgeous! The pool and dog park are perfect, and living by the bike trail was so nice. Less than a mile from union res, too. We have really enjoyed this community and have felt as though we are truly Home here and the only reason we are leaving is to move into a house. I will truly miss it here 💜

I just submitted an application with Ironhorse Apartments for a 1 bed, 1 bath unit. Coming from Wisconsin, it has been a little challenging trying to find the right complex and gather the information we needed without being able to actually visit. Ironhorse Apartments staff has been nothing but excellent. Their call center staff was incredibly helpful and the Assistant Manager Tim made sure to get back to me at his earliest convenience. This amazing customer service absolutely went into our decision in choosing this complex. So far so good!

They give a monetary incentive for reviewing them online when you first move in. Keep that in mind when reading 5 star reviews. The more honest ones will come from those who have already lived here for a while before reviewing online. That being said, I was too enthralled by the outward appearance. If I could go back in time, I would have chosen another place to live. Its true what they say... hindsight is 20/20... Ill know better in the future.

This place is beautiful! Lots of amenities and the balconies on the 2br apartments are huge! Its definitely an upscale complex but the rustic touches make this place feel more homey/cozy than some of the other luxury buildings that Ive seen in the area.

This is our second day here and we absolutely love it! The apartments are so new and have updated appliances. There is so much to do here. They have a huge club house with a few lounge areas and free Starbucks coffee. Its very convenient to have a dog park and a dog wash in the complex. One of my favorite parts is the 2 barbecues by the pool and hot tub. So happy to be apart of this community.

Took a tour of a few of the apartment complexes in Longmont, and we ultimately decided that Ironhorse is where we want to live. The complex offers a lot of what we were looking for, in-unit full sized laundry, gym facility and a safe location. The apartment seemed on the smaller size, at first, but they clearly maximize the space of the units well by having a more open layout. The complex is new as of 2016 and all the units all equipped with new appliances. I was worried about noise from the highway, but it was clear upon visiting that the apartments are well insulated and noise wouldnt be an issue. The office staff seemed friendly, we took our tour with Alex, and she made sure to answer our questions both in person and in follow up conversations. The application process is so easy, and despite the hassles of moving, we are excited to begin our lease in August!****UPDATE**** We have been living here for 7 months now and are really happy we chose to lease at Ironhorse. The neighborhood is great and staff are friendly. The office hosts a few events every once and a while which creates a nice sense of community. We have been very impressed with the maintenance crew; we recently filed a fix it request for a minor issue and it was handled quickly; and during winter, snow removal was prompt! Overall, we are VERY happy at Ironhorse

This community is very beautiful! The staff are amazing, the amenities are everything you need out of apartment living from an outdoor pool to a hot tub to grilling space and to dog parks, and the apartments are spacious with all new appliances.

First, the staff! They are so friendly and accommodating. The apartment has an open flowing floor plan that makes you feel like you have so much space! Everything is up to date and I also love my patio! Very very quiet community and super pet friendly, love the dog park!

The moment upon entering, I was awestruck by how gorgeous the apartments and location are. Everything shown on my tour was just as breath-taking. The agent helping us was very knowledgeable about everything we could possibly have questions on and was incredibly nice and courteous the whole time. Everything about the place, even down to the mail room, has a consistent feel and I look forward to living in a place I could easily call home.

This place is amazing! Alex accommodated us last minute to give us a tour of the complex. She answered our questions and made us feel at home. The grounds are very well-maintained and the units are well-designed. We have had our eye on this complex for some time, and Alexs exceptional customer service made us even more excited to be a part of this community!

Our place is very clean and it has been an easy move! The staff, Amber in particular, has been awesome to work with. They are very accomoadating, easy going, but also make efforts to enforce rules (no cursing at pool, clean up after yourselves, keep your deck clean) so its a happy medium. Other residents have been quiet and respectful. Cant wait to get settled in!

The floor plan is open and airy, the natural light is excellent and reaches the whole apartment. The highway noise is nearly inaudible with the sound reduction windows. My husband and I have been living at Ironhorse since December and so far we really love it! The apartments themselves are really nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly! Been here almost six months and transferring over to a two bedrooms because I like it so much. They have a great off leash dog park I use daily. And the staff is always so friendly.

I just spoke with Alex in the leasing office, and she was so kind and helpful! I had lots of questions, kept her on the phone for quite a while, and she was SO patient with me. I can tell Iron Horse is a warm and inviting community!

Though I didnt end up living here (merely for personal commute reasons), I still feel compelled to say with confidence that Amber and the leasing team were great to work with. My only tiff is that they were - at times - hard to reach via phone! ;)

The leasing agents both Amber and Alex were great! The property is beautiful inside and out! I can’t wait to utilize the beautiful pool and grilling as well as the community kitchen inside the leasing office. The 1 br apartment is immaculate with new appliances a spacious bathroom and a great deck. I can’t wait to move in! Definitely the nicest place I’ve found in the city of Longmont😀👍

Absolutely ridiculous. When we moved in the previous company was friendly and helpful. After they were bought out it was a nightmare. Me and my wife called the office over 10 times and never once would I get anyone to answer. The only time I ever got a call back was when I left a voicemail stating I was a potential new customer. The hot tub was never working. The grills were always dirty. We even cooked one night and found 2 dead mice when we went to turn on the propane. At a place like that with outrageous rent you pay extra for the lifestyle the complex brings and yet it was always awful after the previous company was bought out. Then we moved out. And they took our entire deposit and refunded us only $19 of it. We were there for only 1 year and we are an extremely clean couple. We left our apartment never causing one issue. Never one late payment. I urge people to stay away from this complex until they get the complex back to the standards the price accompanies.

We recently toured the Ironhorse Apartments while looking at options for places to rent in Longmont and Firestone. The Ironhorse Apartments are by far the nicest ones that we saw. The staff was friendly and professional. Our lease application got processed and approved in less than 24 hours.

Came in for a tour and fell in love, beautiful apartments and clean community. Jennifer was extremely helpful in explaining the process and everything.

Make sure you do a walk through when moving out and get a check list of the charges. I was told one thing and then charged for things I should not have been. Called many times and left messages never getting a call back. Called and left message I would be coming in at a specific time and no one was in the office. Then they sent my account to collections. Could not find a phone number for any management above the staff at this location. Would never rent from them again or refer anyone to them.

Such a great team, beautiful apartments and grounds! We love our place here and the girls in the office are always so helpful and friendly! Yemi, Kim, and Amy are the best! And maintenance is quick and efficient!

The apartments are brand new with new appliances. The community is quiet and safe for the whole family. The front office personnel put their very best effort to provide quality and quick service when needed.

Walked in for a tour and we left wanting to rent an apartment at Ironhouse. So far so good.

Great apartment complex. Very well constructed buildings and thick walls that cut out sound from your neighbors. Sound damping windows also cut out a lot of traffic noise from outside (although not everything). The walls arent perfect, if youre neighbor is being loud enough or they have a really loud barking dog, you will probably still hear it a bit. But if thats an issue, your neighbor is probably being unreasonably noisy and it would be totally reasonable to file a complaint or talk to them about it. This place is WAY better than the place I used to live (The Shores at Lake McIntosh) where you can hear your neighbors having conversations on the other side of your wall because there was no sound barrier inside of the walls.Negatives: VERY expensive... but youre going to find that pretty much anywhere you go in Longmont, and for a few hundred extra dollars a month youll probably get twice as nice of an apartment at Ironhorse than some other complex.Apartment management also seems to have very strict policies (which can be good or bad, depending on how those things apply to your own personal situation). Just make sure you understand the policies before you sign your lease to avoid problems.

A guide to renting an apartment at Ironhorse:These are decent apartments, at a better price than others in the area, and good location for us. We love the community area, year round pool and hot tub, and apt size. However, once we decided we wanted to sign a lease here the process was NOT easy. These tips should help you:-Office staff are very friendly but not helpful. They will refer you to the website without answering any questions. If you encounter an issue with the website and email them, they will answer in an unhelpful manner.-If you want to secure an apartment, the longest Ironhorse will hold it for you is one week. Your choices are to either hope no one else takes the apt you want, or set an earlier “move in date” to reserve the one you want, and pay for each day you reserve it.-The website will reject your credit card. To fix this, put in only your address number (ex 1234) in the address field, not your actual address (ex 1234 Jones street)-To sign the lease they send you a link to electronically sign. The email works for gmail but if you have Outlook the email will absolutely not make it to any inbox/spam/clutter folder.-Lease states that Moneygram needs to be used to pay rent, or a $10 fee will be applied. When I went into the office to pick up my keys, and asked what moneygram is, the employee had no idea what I was talking about.-The phone number on Google is the corporate office, and they will not help you. Use the contact info on the Ironhorse website instead for the physical office in Longmont.In general, I get the impression the office staff wants to be supportive, but are given no training or information and so are useless in the application/move in process.

Best place in Longmont, I looked at so many when I decide to move. This is the one I chose. Really like the layout, love how doggie friendly they are, office and maintenance people are very very nice. Excited to join in on the painting on canvas night and meet some more of my neighbors. Really happy with my choice.

If you live there they make you post positive reviews or they threaten you. Now that I moved out I can finally say this was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made for living arrangements. I was there longer than any of my neighbors. They make up expenses above your lease and charge extraordinary fees when you dont pay them. They can not provide me with a statement of account for all my payments made to them. This place is a circus. So disorganized and unprofessional.

This place is going down the drain fast. Every since the new management took over. They charge ridiculous fees, all winter long the snow removal has been horrible, pet waste everywhere on the property. The office staff is horrible, for a luxury apartment this place is a D. They took away the coffee from the clubhouse had replaced it with a cheap coffee machine, we pay $1800 and they cant afford good coffee??. The apartments where built nice but i cant wait for my lease to be up. There are plenty other luxury apartments i would much rather give my money to.

Worst place to live. You pay a lot of money for nothing. Snow removal is 0 and the grass is dead. They DNA test dogs. Like really thats extreme. They office staff is so rude. They arent there at the times they say they are and they will forget to put the sign up that says they are gone. I had a package that was very important coming and it was delivered to the front desk. I went to pick it up at 3 on a Thursday and no one was there. No note on the door nothing. Then when I asked about it they continued to be very rude. saying oh we forgot to put the note on the door. Sorry for the inconvenience. You pay a lot for a place that is made cheap. Trust me when I say there are some incredible and just as nice places in Longmont that arent that much. Its a waste of money to live here.

Decided not to rent due to management staff. Four contracts later they were still incorrect. Hope the staff enjoys our deposit.

UPDATE: THE HOT TUB IS GETTING FIXED!!!! That is all.Ive enjoyed living here. Before when I first moved up it was owned by a different property management company and I had no issues. I ended up moving out due to finances being tight. About a year later I moved back in after the new management company took over. Ive had no issues with them. As an IT Guy I love that the apartments are pre-wired with Longmont Municipal Fiber Internet. The speeds almost rip your face off! The apartments are nice and some have a great view from the patio. My only gripe is that the hottub has been broken for quite some time. I understand that it involves getting a backhoe and a concrete company to come fix but Its still irritating when a hot tub is more like a hot bath. However, that being said, I do enjoy the community, the apartment, and the amenities even though I rarely use them and I wish I could afford to live here after my roommate moves to Texas. (Boss, if you see this, I want a nice raise!)
