Office laddies are so nice and really great with helping me out. I had a lot of stupid questions and they answered all. Laddies are always nice and wave when I come in office and always have good tunes.
I cannot express how much I appreciate the maintenance team here at Cloverbasin. They are always so helpful and respectful of my time and space. It is so refreshing to live at a place where I know I can rely on the staff to fix issues as soon as they arise!
They are very transparent and make the shopping process very easy. I met with Malea today shes so personable and sweet and kind. Even if I didnt move into this location I still have a lovely memory of the service I received here.
I came in this morning and Malea really helped me understand affordable housing. She is definitely be a point of contact for any questions you may have, she makes it very easy to understand and gave me a lot of helpful resources.
Malea has been so helpful during my entire experience with her. She’s so personable, I cannot express how easy she made our paperwork process.
Great place to stay! Front office has the best employees. Malia and Kagen have been great the few issues I’ve had today they took care of it with no hesitation!!
Melea was great! She was very professional and helpful and explained all of the amenities. I had a lot of questions about apartment locations and which directions they faced and she answered all of my questions in detail.
Thank you so much for fixing our Ac system in a timely manner. The maintenance person is super cool!
My experience with Malea was very pleasant. She was very informative and kind. I look forward to working with her during my moving process.
Decent size three bedroom apts. Cheri is very nice and very informative.
Thank you to all of Cloverbasin staff for everything you do! My family and I appreciate you all and are so thankful we have chosen this to be our home. We will most certainly renew our lease and continue to tell our friends and family members about this place!
Melea was very helpful and friendly! Thank you so much.
Malea, was super friendly and helpful with. My viewing today, looming forward to working with her during the application process
Malea gave us a tour and was fantastic thank you very much
Really nice, very kind and easy going. Thank you.
Weve lived here 10+ years. We have good, long term neighbors. Tenants who are good neighbors seems to live here longer.
Extremely disappointed in the way they handle things. Extremely disrespectful had a deposit for an apartment and was denied on the day of the move in, even after giving my deposit. Terrible and rude and lack in communication. Don’t recommend this place at all.
The best decision I have ever made was moving out of this place. If you decide to rent from these scammers best of luck to you. Cloverbasin was the worst place I ever rented from. They try everything to keep your security deposit. I had the place cleaned and left it better than I had received it, and yet they still tried charging me. There are better places in town to rent from than Cloverbasin especially if you have children dont subject them to living in meth apartments.
Clover Basin is the worse place to live in a pandemic. They never gave us a letter stating to come to the office and pay rent. They gave us a late fee without notice. My sister is disabled and stress out over this experience. We will not stop until this injustice is taking care of. A lady from the office lied to us saying they would drop the late fee because we have never been late. They added on charges by a hundred bucks without notice. We are moving out and doing research until we find justice for their wrong doing! Do not move here or send your love one to move here!!! Please dont allow disabled people to move here. They will take advantage of them. This place must be investigated. And I will be in contact with other people to find out our rights. They will not get away with this!!!
I visited a friend who was sick for 2 hours. I had arrived at 9pm. When I attempted to leave, my car was gone. I thought I was seeing things. It is absolutely ridiculous that my car was towed. It wasnt like it was there overnight as I left or wanted to leave at 11pm. $322 to get my car out of the impound. Unbelievable.
Cost of living is the only reasonable cause to live here. The office has continually screwed up several basic tasks and will almost certainly try to pin the blame on the tenant(s). SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS/WORK-ORDERS/EMAILS/etc. We have been accused of not paying rent when we have, needing to replace/repair things we did not damage, and having improper balcony furniture that was never even present. Only by taking photos on move-in-day, and keeping our records up to date have we been able to defend ourselves from Clover Basin’s incompetence and/or exploitative habits. BUYER BEWARE
I moved in last June & now that Im all settled in my cute, cozy one bedroom, I must say I am happy as a clam! The staff here are super friendly & the maintenance team is on top of it!! The fact that I have my very own washer & dryer is awesome!! They allow pets & not many places do so I am thankful to be here, me & my diva of a cat!
Update 8/22/21:I’ve lived at Clover Basin for a year and a half now and want to say that I couldn’t be happier here. The front office staff (Danielle, Ashley and Yolanda in particular) are wonderful.Covid has created a difficult year for myself and many others, but they go above and beyond to help their tenants find assistance in any way possible. They are strict about the safety of their staff and tenants when using the amenities (and it’s so appreciated). Maintenance requests (which are few) are always completed in a timely fashion and they communicate clearly to ensure I’m aware of their arrival. Honestly, their communication in general is outstanding, any e-mail I have ever sent is usually responded to within a few hours, and always within 24.Furthermore, I’ve seen them handle some very difficult situations with tenants who are quite frankly, completely nasty to them, with more grace, humility and professionalism than I could ever muster in a situation like that. I have worked in property management. It’s a high pressure job in so many ways, but they never let that show. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.5/1/2020We just moved in to Cloverbasin and couldn’t be happier! The entire staff was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire leasing and move-in process. In this difficult time of covid-19, moving was especially stressful and they went above and beyond. They are offering sack lunches for all the tenants in the complex at no cost, and yesterday they distributed new air filters, toilet paper (and a plunger, haha!) to every single unit with a very sweet note attached by a ribbon. They clearly pay attention to all the details, as our unit was absolutely immaculate upon move-in. We are so happy to be a part of this great community.
Lived there for 11 months ...because move in special first month free.. wrong still came up w fees when I moved out to equal that free months rent ... moved in w bad carpet .. charged to replace it ... cleaning $140 have you seen this small apt ... me and roomate cleaned and vacuumed each room .Charge me $50 bucks to remove a empty box .. that I was using .. and last but not least 3 apt in our building got bed bugs ( reason we left a month early but still paid rent ..
I have lived here for about a month now and so far it has been a wonderful place to live. I have good neighbors and surrounded by good schools. Its close to shopping centers and other great places for kids. They made my move in very easy and stress free.
Been living here almost 5 years Itruly enjoy it here. The staff no you and a extremly helpful and no you by name. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I am currently still a resident here going on my last month of my lease. Since the day I moved in it has been a horrible process. From people at the office losing my paper work to them giving my apartment # to somebody else after I signed my lease.During the year I was here my furnace would never work properly but maitanence would always say its fine. Of all people I think I would know if my heater was working. We spent many nights cold and fighting with the heater. Not to mention since day one we NEVER got heat in the master bedroom. We had to buy a space heater to warm that room.We also told the front office about the MANY cigarette butts that were on the back patio. We have a toddler who loves to play outside but couldnt because there was so many butts out on the grass. When we did mention this issue to the front office they did not do a thing about it and advised us to go speak with them before they would go out and say something to them. THATS NOT MY JOB TO DO!The pool closet to unit 15 was NEVER open. Which was a bummer. In the end if I could of afford to break my lease I would of done it a long time ago. I am so happy that we are almost out of this place!!
This is the worst apt complexes I have lived in so far. The townhouse is nice, but rents just got raised a $100, and $75 dollars for water, sewer, and trash (Total $175 per more a month at lease renewal). Combined, the rent here is now higher than what one could get elsewhere. Unfortunately I signed my lease without completely understanding the charge was going to be so high. I also have had the issue of being asked to remove patio furniture within a month of setup while my neighbor has been allowed to keep a dining room table outside for over a year now (very unfair); I complained and had no action. Not very fair housing. Perhaps the worst is the parking. There are assigned spaces, 2 per home, but I have four drivers in my home, so 2 of us are forced to park a block away while there are 20 to 30 free spaces around my town home every night. Nobody gives a crap when you bring up issues, they just smile at you and say they are looking into it, but nothing happens. Yes the staff are nice, but this complex is obviously not managed correctly. It does not appear that the company that runs the complex values people who have lived here quietly for years because the housing market is so tight, they dont care if you leave. Stay away if you can; I know I plan on getting out as soon as my lease is over.
Cant wait to move my little family here. Getting approved was super fast Kayla did an awesome job helping us get our paper work together and correctly filled out... also Dan had took his time out of his day to show me a 3 bedroom which i couldnt wait to get approved for. And friendly people all around the area. Thank you cloverbasin. Cant wait to see what our future has in store here. Thank you for being so kind.
Move in was very quick. I do not hear the neighbors around me, and my apartment is quite cozy. I see the Maintenance staff constantly running around and trying to keep the grounds clean. The apartments are affordable and the location is great as far as stores, restaurants, and breweries! For parents with children, the schools are literally within a visual shot, elementary, middle and high school! Staff were kind and really reached out to get me in my apartment quickly due to my living situation!
An ok place to live. Wish they had a place for residents to work on their cars if need be. The maintenance staff seems understaffed for the amount of apartments. But thats what happens when a corporation owns living spaces
New management took over several months ago and it has made all the difference in the world. Ive lived here for 10 years and it was HORRIBLE in recent years. With new management it is a nice place to live again. Office staff and maintenance are friendly and nice to work with. They are responsive to problems and treat people with respect. The property looks nice again. They have taken care of crime issues that were going on. They actually care again and it is wonderful. So, keep up the good work. I would now recommend living here to others again.... something I would not have done before the changes took place!
A couple months back I gave this place 4 stars. I have since then however, changed my opinion of this place. The faculty while being nice are not helpful nor do they care about any of their tenants. The only saving grace that they have of this place is the fact that they can fix up the pool or any of the service orders that you have for broken appliances fairly quickly. Paying rent used to be very simple. You used to be able to go and get a money order and turn it in and they would have no problem taking it period Then for some reason they decided to stop working with Western Union and not allow them anymore to pay your rent. Which being able to pay online made up for it the only downside for this is that if you miss a payment they will stop allowing you to pay online. You will have to drive all the way across town to the Walmart to be able to pay your rent there is nothing that they say that they can do about it and for the entire lease they make you repeat this process.I heard you if you are thinking about moving here please do not. there are much better places for much more affordable rent that are not as difficult. As soon as I can I will be moving and finding someplace else literally anywhere else
Me and my family have lived here for over 8 years. The new management staff has improved in ways but has made it worse for some residents. Although the property is somewhat cleaner the crime rate hasnt gone down much at all. Everyone throws their trash around and doesnt put it in the dumpsters. Most kids around have very few supervision and go around ding-dong-ditching (which is where you knock or ring a persons door bell and run), kids will egg houses and cars, and I have seen children under the age of 4 sitting in the middle of the road in a puddle with no one around. Most teenagers are mean and dont respect other residents. They will do their best to get as much money from you as possible by making up stories, they wont keep up on maintenance and my town house has not had our carpets replaced since we moved in and it has caused us injuries. I do not recommend anyone to live here in the future until these problems are fixed. This place may seem nice but it is mostly for show and good looks. The only plus Ive seen over the years is the management which hasnt improved much at all.If at all possible do not live here.
I lived there for 2 years ... the good thing is the location. the bad thing is the rent price, too expensive for so little space
Needed a few things fixed and maintenance came and fixed everything promptly
Clover basin is by far the worst apartments to live in in Longmont. Im talking meths labs in your building and them not doing anything about it. (Happened in building 13 and they refused to test apartments surrounding meth lab) at that time I had a 2 year old and was pregnant and had to purchase my own test to check for residue. They over charge you for everything and most employees in the office have no idea what they are even doing. They have lost my rent before and tried to make me pay double. Sure this place might be affordable but dont let the price fool you. CLOVER BASIN IS A HORRIBLE APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!! Absolute worst. I just moved out and its the best decision Ive made for my family.
This place doesnt even deserve one single star. I have lived in this apartment complex for over 3 years, in different buildings. I have always paid rent on time, and never had any type of complaints from neighbors. The old staff was TERRIBLE, and I was very excited to hear of the management change. However, the service at Cloverbasin Village Apartments has only gotten worse. They will do whatever they can to get your money; they towed my car WHICH IS ON MY LEASE to a tow yard in Boulder which cost me $250 to get back. They dont respond to your maintenance requests for months at a time; I reported my dishwasher broken upon my move-in, and it took them over two months to even come look at it, and then an additional two months to get the thing working properly. There is crime in the area that the management will DELIBERATELY not tell you about; my boyfriends bike was stolen and when he went to tell the office, they said Oh yeah, thats been going on for a few weeks now, sorry. They knew there had been people stealing from their residents and they didnt notify ANYBODY - but yet they have absolutely no trouble leaving multiple notes on our door regarding mandatory inspections and required maintenance checks. This place is all about appearances, they will do anything to save face, including giving you their meaningless apologies. I highly suggest you stay far away from this complex, as I wish I had.
I find it funny how the overall average rating of this place gets a 1 star... whoever is an admin for this clown house, your wasting your time commenting on the negative reviews, they are only telling the truth and copy and pasting responses to each of them is just wasting your time.. Just like they all said, the current management and staff there is a joke, they DO fabricate things and if they are put out to rent to certain people they’ll extend the application process by coming up with excuse after excuse to drag out the process making it nearly impossible to become a tenant. That happened to my wife and I. They kept asking for unnecessary documents and after we provided what they asked for, they asked for something else and it kept going on for a good month until we just gave up we really needed to move Out of our previous place because of relocation and so went elsewhere and got into a much better apartment complex the next day... Do not ever rent here and I wouldn’t even consider it as a last option either. Sorry Clover Basin, but y’all blow!
This place is a joke my family of 5 lived at Methbasin for 7years. Then one day a coward of a maintenance man just walked into my apartment without knocking or announcing himself and claimed that he seen drug activity. Two days later a letter was on my door giving my family of 5 four days to move or legal action was going to take place. I dont recommend any family think about moving into this place ever.
I lived here for a span of 5 years several years ago. For the most part, everything was good. The staff and maintenence people were friendly and took care of problems quickly. I had a one bedroom of decent size and it was spotless when I moved in, but what eventually drove me away where the rent increases. I get that rent will go up, but what started out as a reasonable price become unreasonable for a one bedroom after a few years. I ended up moving to a different complex in town and got a two bedroom for less that my one bedroom here. And even after a few years, my two bedroom continues to be cheaper.Overall though, my experience here was pleasant and my problems and concerns were always tended to promptly and professionally.
I dont understand why the complex is managed how it is. It has gone downhill from parking to leasing to the pools, to maintenance, to everything else.
Not willing to risk getting kicked out over leaving an honest review, so I’ll just say one star. For now.
It is the middle of Colorado summer and after putting in a work order 3 weeks ago my AC is still not fixed. This is unacceptable. To make matters worse the office appears to have ZERO capacity to communicate effectively with maintenance and tell me not only can they not give me maintenances number but are lazily incapable of communicating with them themselves to find out why my AC isnt fixed. If there was a good reason for this serious delay then I wouldnt be so upset at this negligence. But the office cant give me an answer, cant give me maintenances number, and apparently no one can do their job. IF YOU CANT GIVE RESIDENTS THE NUMBER TO MAINTENANCE THEN IT IS THE OFFICE STAFFS RESPONSIBILITY TO COORDINATE COMMUNICATION!!! Instead I am left feeling hopeless and hot.
I am a current resident my name is Thomas. This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever seen, do not live here!! The office doesnt know what they are doing and maintenance is very slow on getting repairs done. When we first moved in both toilets were broken, air vents hanging down, and dishwasher needed repair. We pay good money for rent and we expect the staff to do their JOBS!!!!!!!!!!
I have lived in Cloverbasin Village for over three years. I have found the new management always friendly and attentive. All of my maintenance requests have been completed quickly.
Do not waste your time here. Terrible reviews from everyone I know. Visiting a friend, my car was towed overnight last night. I will never live here and nor recommend anyone live here until management changes. Now I missed work and have to find a way to pay for the towing costs to get my car out.
These people won’t let me into my house because I’m under age it’s 44 degrees I’m going to die out here I have shorts and and a t shirt and a small jacket
Where to start....-Overcharge monthly. And its always some BS excuse. My rent is supposed to be 1600, yet they regularly charge 1900 for their own self-admitted mistakes. I could have a mortgage for less than this.-Renters regularly have cops called on them for drug use outside, fighting, booming loud music, etc. we moved out of Aurora to get away from this.-renters abuse section 8, and housing assistance in epic numbers. We work our butts off to pay bills the honest way, while huge groups move in together to make money off of the system.-they regularly post demand letters stating you must grant immediate access, or youre violating your lease so no privacy, or respect for renters rights-office folks tell you one thing then do another. And I really think they just dont know-theyll tell you to sign up with services through one company, then overcharge for services, and then claim that they changed companys, policies, or whatever. His had been EVERY month since living here. Almost a year.-tenants let their dogs run free, and I have a dog that gets attacked because I keep him leashes.-they fabricate applications just to get units rented. We have one neighbor with over 6 different unrelated adults, and at least 3kids living under one roof.-there are always discarded furniture and appliances scattered throughout the parking lot-they use a private tow company to tow your visitors cars when the lots have more than ample spaces. This POS (Boulder Towing) took my wifes car, and its registered to park here, then charged me $300 when I called the cops on him for wrongfully towing our car. He cherry picks daily, and only tows easy to grab cars (small front wheel drives). Our wolderful neighbors have had a POS sitting out for months that doesnt run, and isnt tagged, but he is too lazy to tow that one.-maintenance cant ever seem to fix anything. AC had been out all summer, kitchen sink valve leaking since before we moved in, and they broke the ceiling tile to the attic, God only knows what they were doing up there.-cops are out here almost daily. Usually for the same units.-this place is a major lawsuit waiting to happen.Save your money. Buy a house, or rent elsewhere. This is NOT an ideal place to raise our 3 kids. Which is sad because the schools are walking distance from our place, and the community could be amazing if this place could get it together.
My best friend lives here!!!
Exact same issue as everyone below AC was out for over a 3 weeks. I was lied to on a continual basis by the staff about when maintence was coming. Told they could not contact maintence.. Blah blah blah. I was even told flat out that they would not put what they were telling me on the phone in writing. When I asked about the maitnence guarantee posted on the website. They changed my work orders to make it look like a continuing problem so they would not have to honor the guarantee. They have no customer service skill. They dont even have prof reading skills. I had a notice about my dog barking posted on my door it listed the wrong tenant names and was dated 2 years before we moved in. The last pool party thing they hosted the put flyers on everyones doors with a dated of July 18rd seriously no one read it before they had someone walk to every apt to hang it? Oh the best part it was hung on the 25th.... They are a joke
This place is a dump. Kids run around screaming profanities at the top of their lungs. There is trash and dog poop everywhere. The office is terrible and never have a clue what is going on. They are so rude once youve moved in. They could care less about anything that goes on in the property. There is 0 parking for guests. They will get towed if they stay. The pool is rarely open and when it is its so sorry, I wont let my daughter go in it. Id look for other places.
They will do everything they can to charge you every dollar you have, and then stonewall you when you try to move elsewhere. Do not rent at cloverbasin apartments
Worst place I have ever lived.. trash everywhere, vandalism all over the buildings, children are never supervised. I always hear cursing and yelling even with Windows closed. pools always closed or vandalized.. Supposed to be government low-income but raised my rent $300. New management in office are not help full and anytime I asked a questions they looked ate like they had no idea what I just said.. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever, so glad I moved out in September.
Ive been a resident here since 2017-Current. If you can find a better place to live, you should definitely do so.Ill start off with the people that the complex has let live here. There have been a total of three neighbors that were all evicted due to them selling and even manufacturing meth. There was a hostage situation in which a gas bomb was used by police in the apartments across the way. Domestic violence fights very oftenPeople often let their dogs run around off leash and I even witnessed a 5 minute long dog fight because of that situation. People also never pick up after their dogsYoure only allowed 2 parking spots for $150 each and the street parking for guests gets filled everyday by 5pm and they are ruthless about towing. Our AC has broken multiple times in the summer with it taking as long as 3 weeks to have it addressedMaintenance orders are fixed after 2-3 days depending on the importance of your situation because there are only 3 maintenance people for the entire complexThe children in the complex are a nightmare in the summer and have broken the new playground equipment several times. Although one time they did break one of the apparatus and the complex completely closed off the entire playground and that was the quietest its ever been here
The best staff and really nice place to live couldnt be happier that I chosen here to live
I have lived here for four years. During that time, there has been two management changes. Each one has been for the worse. The current management does not care about their tenants. They added the term luxury to the apartments and they are anything but. It took them six months to fix a leak with our bath tub. It took two weeks of constant calls to get them to replace a refrigerator that wasnt cooling. I am on fixed income and lost hundreds of dollars in food. They didnt care. They finally replaced the frige with one that was significantly smaller than the one I had and it was filthy. They also had employees redoing floors in the apartment below us until midnight. When I called to report it, the person who answered the after hours number said they werent on the premises and I would have to handle it myself. I have had my cannondale bike stolen from my garage unit, again the office staff did not care. My carpet is frayed, thread bare and coming up, they refuse to replace it. The other tenants are terrible as well. People let their dogs run off leash, they dont clean up after them. My dogs have gotten giardia from the property. There is trash everywhere. The kids are disrespectful and drugs are everywhere. In short, now that they are charging within $50 to $100 of everywhere else in Longmont for rent, pay the extra money and go somewhere else. They always use the excuse of being short staffed. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever experienced. It is as ghetto as you can get. They are slum lords not landlords.
Just wanted to share that Alexis and Kayla hv been SO sweet and compassionate, tolerant, an kind to my mother and me...if it werent for rhem our lives woyld b too diffuculr to explain...i hope thise 2 r always w you
If there was an option for zero stars I would give them that. I have lived here for the last 3 years. We have had issues with our pipes in the house since we moved in and they leak all the time. Not one mantainence person has replaced them. When you need anything done it takes them a month or so to notice they ahev something going on and then when they get it, it takes another month before they come and fix things. We have ended up replacing a lot of the things in this house from our own pocket because they wont come replace it. They didnt replace the garbage disposal and said it was fine they found out it wasnt fine when the pipes burst from the rattling of the gd. Our bath tub has a hole in it and they just keep coming in and patching it, then it breaks and makes an even bigger hole, instead of just replacing it.They are penny pinchers. They like to tell you what you can and can not have on your front and back porches, you cant live without them up your ass about something. They wont fix anything unless its causing harm/damage.ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE RENT. WE PAY $1040 FOR A GOOD SIZE GARAGE, 3 BED 2 BATH TOWN HOUSE. Not going to find anything any cheaper and thats the reason we stay!
They rip you off on move-out! Deposits! Please make sure you give your 30 days because they charge you 42.66 per day! If 30 days are not given! I wouldn’t recommend this place.
If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. Heartless creeps at the office are of no help for low income families....They towed my vehicle I just bought and had it parked for 12 hours. How can they just tow it WITH NO NOTICE AND FORCE ME TO PAY $325 TO GET IT BACK!!!! BASTARDS ALL OF YOU
I was visiting a friend we left for 4hrs and when we came back my car was gone. It had been impounded for lack of parking permit. No notice was given. Apparently if you live here you cant have friends overnight without their car being impounded
I cant right now cause my heart is breaking
Excellent place in Longmont Colorado
Nice plex
Avoid this place! They are a scam. They tow visitors cars and will not allow visitors to park in the lots. They are unresponsive to the needs of their tenants, and create a virtual ghetto. Do yourself a favor and avoid them!
Just dont live here... trust me. I wouldnt know where to begin.
My issue has been resolved
Very friendly when your signing the lease but when it comes down to having a problem theyll will just wash theyre hands and not take any responsibility or at the very minimum try and help the tenants.
Hate this place!!
A cookie cutter condo looks like all the rest ... Its sterile and just like every other overpriced, institutional for the upper class you dont have a clue...
Good
Read the reviews
Do not do its
Horrible. Rude management.
