I’ve been using KJ Thomas Mechanical for about 8 years now. I know I can trust them to properly install, clean, diagnose, and repair our heating and cooling systems, at fair prices. I have used them for regular maintenance, repairs, and complete replacement of our furnace/humidifier/central air system and always happy with their work.

This was my fourth time which I contacted KJ Mechanical, Three times for own house and once was for my daughters house air conditioning. Three time Karl did the job himself or with other team members, The very recent A team member (Brad) worked on my heater and got that running smoothly. Can not say enough how nice and courteous and knowledgeable Brad was. They all knowledgeable and have my highest recommendation. If I was not quite satisfied at first time, I would not have recommended to my daughter and called for the forth times. Thank you Guys for the job well done.

Brad was great with one exception. On Friday 2/29 after the service visit he said he would check to see if he had a needed part in his truck and then come back on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday we had no heat but Brad did not respond to many texts and a couple of phone calls. The office answering service was also not functional. Brad did contact us Sunday evening and got the heat working on Monday.

KJ Thomas installed a new Trane AC/HVAC unit about 2 years ago. They fixed and rebuilt the duct system in our sub basement. They did a great job, and we havent had any problems with our units. They come out every 6 months to clean and tune up our AC/HVAC. They are very thorough and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

Had furnace issues on a new furnace, with the initial installer. KJ Thomas were responsive, polite, professional and most of all were able to diagnose and resolve the issue which is a lot more than I can say for the initial installer. Would highly recommend, everyone I spoke with was a delight to talk to by comparison to others in the industry. A+

My windows had extreme amount of condensation, Brad (the technician) checked all possibilities and discovered the exhaust vent/chimney was totally blocked. He was very concerned for my safety. Figured out the best and most cost effective plan to fix the issue.

Ryan, the maintenance staff who did this Springs service, was courteous, knowledgable, and communicated well (note: I teach professional communication skills in corporate and medical settings). HVAC maintenance may seem a simply matter, yet after working with others with different standards on a series of house projects, it was refreshing to work with Ryan.

They came out & fixed my furnace within a couple hours even though I said my house was cool but it wasnt an emergency. They fixed my 22 year old furnace instead of trying to sell me a new one. I will definitely use them again.

A switch needed to be replaced in our heating system, and was done efficiently. The service person sought info about our system to see if the warranty was still in effect, it wasnt. However, the fact that they checked was thoughtful.

Our water heater broke and KJ Thomas was able to replace the next morning. The same water heater was not available so we ended up getting an upgrade at the same price they originally quoted. We will continue to use them for all of our heating and air (and hot water tank replacement) needs. Honest, fair, family-run business with great service.

Rapid response to a failed A/C. A new one was installed in 4 days in a highly professional manner. Highly recommend KJ Thomas Mechanical.

They were able to install a new furnace the next day after being called. Installation was the day before Thanksgiving, and they stayed until past 7 pm until the system was fully working. Their estimate was competitive with other HVAC firms. They do excellent work, and care about the results.

Our AC went out during the hottest week in July. KJ came out in one day, made a good offer and installed a new unit two days later. They were prompt and did a great job with the installation. Office staff also very helpful. Will sign up for annual service for both AC and furnace with them.

I would recommend Karl and his team to anyone. Theyve replaced 2 furnaces and a swamp cooler for me, and have worked alongside me on a handful of other projects. Our heater went out the week of Thanksgiving. My wife was absolutely freaked because she hates the cold and we were also hosting guests that week. These guys gave us a great estimate, were able to come and install the Friday after Thanksgiving! They sent a crew of three and were finished in around three hours, by lunchtime. Couldnt be happier with these guys, and KJ saved us a lot by replacing our AC motor years ago.

Needless to say... when a company goes beyond helping one facing a time crunch to repair furnace and gas line leakage... they deserve a five star rating! Wow! I am so impressed. My AC central unit stopped working over the weekend I called at 7:30 AM on a Monday morning and he had someone out here by 8:45 AM! I understand my unit is old it’s about 17 years old and probably on it’s last leg LOL however, they were able to fix it for under $200 I am so impressed and thankful! Next year when I most likely need a new unit I will be calling KJ Thomas! Thank you so much and I am so thankful I didn’t have to have a heat stroke today ha ha

The fan on our furnace wouldnt kick out and was running constantly. We called and they came out the same day. The furnace had been installed in 1965 and unfortunately after 50+ years no parts were available. They came out the next day and installed a new furnace. Took the time to show me how to program the thermostat. Came back the day after to check the gas pressure and make sure it was running smoothly. I cant say enough good things about this company.

I have always had great service from KJThomas. They installed our Trane furnace, which has been very reliable. Today I had an emergency call—woke up to no heat in a blizzard. Ann in the office did a good job of redirecting their employer Logan to the rescue. Embarrassingly for me, it was only the battery in the thermostat. I did not even know it ran on batteries. But Logan suggested rewiring the thermostat directly to the furnace, so this turned out to be an expensive AAA battery replacement, but the company fixed the current problem and eliminated future ones. What more could I ask? Except me being smarter to begin with...

Furnace was not providing enough heat, and Logan investigated until he found the issue, which had been caused by roof installers changing the angle of the flue on the roof.
