We had a lot of work done with Everest Mechanical - we entrusted them with some major upgrades in our older home including a new water heater, new AC, new hose bibs and water shut-offs. Everyone at Everest Mechanical (Hoyt, Frank, Joe, & Thomas just to name a few) is AWESOME. Hoyt and team installed a new 50 gal water heater for us same day, upgrading all of our piping and valves along the way. All this work was impeccable and Hoyt took time along the way to explain everything he was doing for us and the steps we should take as homeowners to keep our systems running well.But then we got the short straw for our AC install. The AC install started out very bumpy, as the individual who came to do the work did not follow the specs as outlined in the proposal. So we ended up with the AC line running on the outside of our house instead on through our ceiling in the lower floor.Short of rewinding time, Everest Mechanical did EVERYTHING in their power to make it right, including giving us a maintenance package to guarantee the quality of their work for the next couple years.Fast forward a few months later when we were unable to get our heater working on the first cold day of the season (user error -forgot to turn the gas on!) and they were still able to come same day to perform the preventative maintenance on the heater.We will continue to use Everest Mechanical for all of our pluming and HVAC needs.

I called Everest Mechanical early this afternoon, after already having had a technician from a different company this morning not able to unclog our kitchen drain (by snaking it.) My information was taken by phone and within 15 minutes, a scheduler called to let me know that someone would be able to look at the drain today, probably around 5 pm. Their technician by the name of Hoyt called around 3:30 pm to say that they were on their way. He and his coworker Mark showed up in face masks, and by 4 pm he was hydro jetting our secondary drain, and continued to do so for an hour and a half, reaching well over 40 feet. They were professional, entertaining, and so thorough that they left the under sink cabinet cleaner than they found it. Nobody loves having to call a plumber, but I wont mind it so much next time now that I know who to call.

Isaac and Isaiah swapped out my old bathroom faucet and drain body for new. Called 30 minutes ahead, arrived on time, fast, efficient, fully cleaned up. All good from every aspect. Not my first experience with Everest, won’t be my last :)

From the time I called to the time my problem was solved was just ~2 hours. Everyone else I called told me that it would likely take over a week until they could service me. The responsiveness of Everest Mechanical was really impressive and the technicians were extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

Bears (Everest) is an excellent professional service with good communication. Hoyt was great to work with...very prompt, friendly and professional. Fixed the problem I had quickly and let me know about some other potential issues. Highly recommended.

Our boiler was way overdue for a checkup. Everest Mechanical arrived on time for the appointment (called first), took pains not to track in dirt (shoe booties!) and, in about one hour, had everything checked, adjusted and back in tip-top shape. I called Everest Mechanical when my furnace quit working, Derek Shepard with Everest came out the same day and fixed it in less than an hour. He was on time, very courteous and very knowledgeable. I quizzed him on an issue with my water heater while he was here and he gladly answered all my questions and told me what is needed to bring it up to code. We all know that its not easy finding that kind of service these days, they will be getting more of my business thats for sure, highly recommend.

All of these 5 star reviews are for Bear’s Family and not Everest who recently purchased the company. Bear’s was great! Everest is absolutely abysmal! They wanted to replace one part (maybe 2) in my two year old furnace. After I suspected they were not being completely truthful, I decided to not go ahead with the service and get a second opinion. After my service technician left, I discovered my thermostat had been disconnected from my furnace. No heat or anything all weekend. Nonetheless, I got a second opinion from another company and had heat 20 minutes later, no parts needed. I do not recommend this company.

We were having our entire sewer and supply replaced at the time these guys bought Bears plumbing . They came in and finished the job, and even redid some things they wanted done better. Excellent job .

Had leak and company I usually use couldnt come for 5 days but put me on waiting list if someone canceled. Called Bear Family and they came same day even 2 hours earlier than they stated to me. Chris was very polite and professional. Good job done. Will use again.

These folks bend over backwards to satisfy their customers. Shawn had come out to repair my AC unit. A few days later the system was acting up. The coils inside the house had iced over and were no longer cooling the house. I called into Bear Family and spoke with Dawn explaining what was going on with my AC system. Shawn returned within the allotted time frame, connected to the system and determined the fault. The fan malfunctioned which caused the icing over.Bear Family P, H & C didnt charge for the service call, Shawn provided excellent service. Dawn and Kathy have been wonderful to speak with and Im sure that Mike is very personable as well as professional.You couldnt find a better HVAC company in the state. I called Bear family Plumbing about some water we had leaking into our basement. They were very accommodating and got our here the same day I called!! Even showed up early which was awesome! They gave me a call before the appointment to let me know an exact time they would be arriving too.Sean come out and checked out the leak for us. He was extremely professional and very friendly! He figured out the issue right away.These guys are seriously awesome and I am now a customer for life!

Great service, especially considering they came on an emergency call, over the weekend. They have a great policy that if they end up doing the repair, they wont charge for the arrival fee, which is nice. They were on time, honest, up front, and transparent. Everest Mechanical saved the day! My boiler was completely non-functional on a Friday and we were due to have multiple days below freezing with a big storm starting on Sunday. I called and spoke with a friendly woman who assured me they would figure out a way to help me and they did ! Hoyt showed up at 5:30 on a Friday night and stayed until 8:30 to get my furnace up and running and my house warm. He was friendly and funny and never made me feel like my job was imposing on his time. I was grateful every minute of that next week as I sat in my warm cozy house and watched the storm rage outside. I would recommend them to anyone, we initially had them come out for a second opinion from a company who said we needed a new furnace. Shawn arrived right on time and thankfully was able to fix what was wrong without costing an arm and a leg. We really appreciate the work theyve done for us.

Called and had a plumber (Sean) come out the very same day. He did repairs and found mistakes under my sink previous plumbers left me suffering with for ages. I called Bears Family Plumbing at 4:45 on a Friday evening after we discovered a faucet was leaking outside and running into the house. The owner, Michael, was at my house within half an hour and literally had the problem fixed within a few minutes. I am so thankful they were willing and available to help before the leak ruined something or we had to keep the water to the house off all weekend waiting for normal business hours on a Monday!

Just had Michael and Shawn out to install a garbage disposal for us and they did an excellent job!! Very professional and nice guys. On time and did the job for a fair price. Would definitely recommend them!

One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a company for a simple fix in our house. Outrageous prices. 500$ to fix one pipe in our bathroom. Didn’t ever hold true to what they said they would do or charge. We ended up doing the job 100% ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I worked primarily with Keith (Chris oversaw the process). Keith showed up very early in his service window. He was courteous and I never felt pressured into making an uninformed decision. He worked efficiently and went out of his way to explain why he was doing what he was doing. I would gladly work with Bears Family Plumbing and Keith again.

Of course the hot water heater went out when we had house guests, and on a Friday. And of course we wanted to replace it with a high efficiency on-demand water heater if possible (not a great time to do the research when you have one already broken!). We called two or three places, and were told they couldnt get to us till Monday, or that the cost would be $6,000-10,000 (for a water heater?!) The folks at Bears came out to give us an estimate for the on-demand water heater. They explained that the installation would involve moving pipes and putting an exhaust pipe through the wall - which wasnt financially or time-wise feasible for us. They provided an estimate for a high efficiency conventional hot water heater which was reasonable. They were having a crazy Friday with emergencies all over, but came out the next day on Saturday, and had it installed in an hour with all of the mess cleaned up. Our only complaint? That we had to turn the temperature down three times on the thing because it is so efficient and hot :D Thanks Bears!
