Worst customer service ever. Avoid this specific European Wax......do yourself a favor and visit the McGowan site. The front desk there is amazing and so are the waxers

**Updated 10/02/20: Sitha (manager) got my complaint and IMMEDIATELY followed up with me. She gave me her direct line and apologized profusely for the miscommunication. She was able to stay in contact with me via email and TEXT message and helped me resolve my issues.She was an absolute angel and always kind. For this I change my 1 star rating-I have paid, in full, my membership in February. I havent used any passes, and in May I requested a refund. Ive been calling and leaving messages on the voicemail constantly, with no call-back. They have updated their voicemail greeting a few times though. Unprofessional with how much lack of communication is going on!

Everyone recommended Rachel. I personally would not recommend her. She was not the nicest person. I’ve gone to her twice and she just has a very negative attitude. I went to her because everyone in the comments below recommend her. I have been waxed by other representatives here and my experience was pleasant. Besides Rachel everyone is really nice and I’d recommend it.

They make you feel comfortable but I think they could be focused more on making sure theyre waxing everything right and cleaning up more versus trying to do a speedy job

In that time I tried other esthetician’s and had very bad experiences.Even though my esthetician location has been more than 30 miles from my home I still remain going in fear of having a bad experienceI have seen the European Waxing all around and wonder about the service. I tend to do research on a products or services to get insight.In doing my research I thought it was cool that your first visit is free. This feature gave motivation to give them a chance. When I looked at the European Wax center near me it is had not open yet. I still was able to find one near me (Hawaiian Garden’s)I still had a little apprehension about try a new esthetician. Yet, it was very easy to make my appointment. Your first visit in complimentary either free or discounted depending on your need. This was definitely motivation in giving them a try.The day of, I signed in. The receptionist was very professional. She informed me the the esthetician named Jenny would be seeing me today. Jenny came out and introduced herself and told me she would be right with me.We went into the room,she prompted me to get prepped.She verbally walked me through the steps. I was still a bit nervous. She talked with me the whole time. She allowed me to ask questions. And she was able to answer them all. I felt at ease. She also informed me of care and after care steps. That I had no knowledge of over the years of patronizing my other esthetician.I was so thankful and glad of how well of a job she did along with her expertise. I very pleased with Jenny’s service and professionalism at this European Waxing. I am now a new customer of hers and this establishment.

I was recommended here by a friend and was very nervous at first, but Celles really made me feel comfortable. She explained everything and was so nice. I have been going with her for the past 7 months and honestly every experience has been good.

For my first time- it was an okay experience. Nothing wowed me. I think they’re moving locations because they didn’t have a front desk...after the girl waxed me and was giving me post-op care instructions she was kind of awkward and wouldn’t make eye contact lol I know you just saw me girl, but look at me when you talk to me! Haha

My experience was great it was my first time ever getting a Brazilian wax and the person that that did it for me was very nice she kept me calm and had me laughing and I had actually had a good time surprisingly and it was very fast and painless

So I really love the European wax center, I’ve always had a really good experience except for the time when I went to a therapist name Racquel. She made me feel really uncomfortable. She has a very strong personality and comes off a bit rude. Also I was not pleased with the comment she made about waxing African-Americans. She stated that when she saw me she felt that it was going to take a long time because normally African-Americans typically have thicker hair so it’s harder to wax. But she was relieved at the fact that my hair came out easy. I felt disrespected by her comment because of how she said it. And also felt like that’s probably why she was rude from the start because she thought I was going to make her job hard. Smh, very unprofessional! I definitely will not be returning to this therapist!!!

Ive been going to the European wax center since August, 2015. I was referred by a friend who had a great experience with Tamara Maldonado. I feared waxing because of a painful experience in the past, however I was convinced of this place. I received Brazilian waxes from several girls here throughout the year and somehow I kept getting ingrown hairs. When I finally asked to be booked with Tamara Maldonado I noticed that her technique prevented me from getting ingrowns. She has been the most patient and considerate aesthetician and now I can say a good friend. She has an amazing personality and I just LOVE that girl!! We have so much to talk about that I forget how uncomfortable these waxes can be. She makes my waxing experience easy and tolerable. Thank you Tamara for being the best!!!!

Very professional and very fast also nice staff

I was told by by a technician named Raquel that my hair cycle wasnt right and she couldnt give me a bikini wax. Either I got a Brazilian, taking everything off which I did not want or I rescheduled for another time. This woman talked to me in a very demeaning way, repeating herself like as a child and that I didnt understand what she was offering to do or lack thereof. IF YOU WANT MY PATRONAGE AND MY MONEY, YOU DO WHAT I PAY YOU TO DO. BOTTOM LINE. In any case I took my business somewhere else and I will never be returning to the European Wax Center. I saw somebody that same day and she pretty much told me that what I was told was b*******.

Im glad the first time is free cuz they would have had to call the police to get me to pay for the hackjob done to my eyebrows. No time or effort was taken. No knowledge of how to shape brows.2 stars cuz it was free.

Its my ist time.to encounter such a rude wax therapist.Raquel to name her.She talked like she is the smartest wax therapist on earth...I went there bec its my only free time to get a brazillian.wax done.The moment she seen.my hair she said it cant be waxed bec its not yet 4 weeks! What???I have like a 1/2 inch long hair and i usually do this every two or 3 weeks the most..Her comments was like really offending...do you understand what i am saying????I believe its the clients right wether they want to get their hair wax at a certain.point...I am thinking of filing a case for this lady.!

Raquel is a God send and an overall genuine person. I only book my appointments with her and I don’t feel a thing. She’s a total gem
