I have tried cross fit, traditional gyms, and everything in between for my fitness and goals, but Orange Theory has changed my perspective. I love how involved the coaches are in keeping you focused but also being sure youre enjoying yourself. I see the classes as a fun activity I get to participate in instead of dreading it as a workout. The integration of splat points and the fitness trackers makes it feel like a game to me and I am super competitive with myself so I love seeing my name glow orange on that screen and it pushes me to work harder. I look forward to every workout. From the friendly staff that greets you and makes you feel welcome, the inspirational quotes I see everywhere around the gym, and the dedication of the coaches, Orange Theory Fitness just does it better than anywhere else I have tried before. Also, thank you to the OTF Long Beach Marina Staff! You have been amazing!

I signed up for the free 2 classes to try it out. Anna was nice and helped get scheduled since I was not gonna be able to make it on time I called 4 hours before the class (12:00) that was originally scheduled notifying that was not gonna make it; I asked Cody (manager) if I could reschedule the class and he passively aggressive said “yes”. He got me on schedule he even asked if I was okay with wearing a mask and I said yes. When I got to the studio he said that he couldn’t schedule me for the class when we previously agreed that I’d come to the 10:50 am class. I didn’t get anything from them notifying me that. I wasted time and part of my day. Super unprofessional, don’t come here please.

Ive been working out most my entire adult life and although Im no fitness expert nor professional athlete their program, system and trainers are awesome! True believer! A few months at least twice a week, since grit and determination and sweat and you will in the fast track to much improved health and strength! Christian, Maddie and Jenna are super helpful!

I loved Orangetheory as soon as I walked in! The staff is so friendly and they walk you step-by-step through the process. I loved the heart rate monitor and that you can push yourself more or less based on this. The group atmosphere is fun and motivating. I really enjoyed that you get both strength and cardio training in 60 minutes....it makes the time fly by!

What I love about OrangeTheory Marina is the coaches. I’ve tried a number of your studios and the coaches here are the best! They’re so motivational and inspiring. You can tell they love their job and truly care about each one of our journeys for being there. On top of the coaches I love the workouts. I appreciate that they’re different every day and remain challenging no matter how strong and fit I become- there’s always a way push harder at orange! I love it so much...it’s completely changed my life! I’ve never been so excited to work out.

I love that the workout changes each day, but the studio is so consistent. Coaches are great and motivating - they all do their job with keeping the workout on schedule ... amazing timing skills! I also used to HATE running - seriously - wouldnt do it - despite working out my entire life - but since I have joined OT I have discovered that I can actually run . . . you can do anything in less than 3 minute spurts - especially a 30 second all out!

The BEST. The staff is amazingly nice, the members who attend are all cool and non-judgmental like they can be at other clubs, and the coaches are motivational and very helpful. I love OT Marina!

I dont typically like going to gyms, (Im more into backpacking/hiking and outdoor activities) but I love the instructor-led format and the energy in the room. I feel completely comfortable getting outside of my comfort zone with the floor exercises and can already notice the difference in my stamina and speed on the trail.

I love the energy and the intensity of each workout. The coaches are motivating and encouraging and the music is great! I love that you can customize the level each day depending on how you’re feeling. The best part is that you leave each day knowing you worked your butt off burned a lot of calories!

This is by far one of the best workout classes Ive ever been too. I felt like I accomplished so much in an hour and their interval style made sure I was never bored. The best part was that after my workout I got e-mailed a summary of my calories, heart rate, and accomplishments. I cant wait to go back

I love OTF Marina!! ALL the coaches are amazing, the front desk people are wonderful, the vibe is always great. Ive been to a handful of other studios and they just dont compare. We recently moved and I refuse to change my home studio from this one, even though there are several that are closer

I love that its very well structured with live statistics on how youre doing. Additionally, the environment is very friendly and encouraging, which promotes an overall healthy workout: head, heart, and body!

My husband is going to be 58 and I will be 53. We knew we needed to up our game on health. Orange theory has been one of the BEST things we have done for ourselves. Everyone from the front ladies to the coaches to the other people in class have been so motivating and supportive. We honesty look the best we have in years and we feel so great !GO!!! Just try it!!! A fun, well paced, workout class. Had never done workout classes before and was a little suspect before I started but the coaches and staff are awesome and the workouts have been challenging but never unsafe or causing injury. its definitely with the first free workout just to see if its something you might be interested in. If youre worried about the hard sell at the end - dont be - the staff doesnt try to hard sell you at all like at other gyms.

OTF is such a great workout! Its hard, but satisfying. The group setting is motivating, and helps you achieve your individual goals. Its something different every class, so its never boring or predictable. I highly recommend it to those who like to monitor themselves throughout a workout and keep them accountable!

I love the interval training. Especially on the tread mills as I am NOT a runner lol. Each time I come to class we do something different so I stay engaged and love the OTF community. Everyone is so friendly and all goal-oriented.

I have visited several OTF studios, and I have to say this is one of my favorite! Everyone was very friendly - even the members! The coach Jazze was outstanding!! She was fully in control, fluid, helpful, and friendly. I can see why they have won best OTF studio two years in a row! Well deserved!! Cant wait to go back!

Beware their membership policy. If you need to cancel they say the policy is 30 day notice. However, if you are one day past your billing cycle it is more like 60 day notice as they charge you the next month for a full month. Classes are good but the popular times book far in advance. So if your schedule is fluid its hard to get classes.

I love everything about OTF! From the moment I walk in and am greeted by the friendly staff to the moment I walk out drenched in sweat knowing that I was challenged and can see how much work I put in on the screen. I love that I have always been encouraged and never felt like I am “less than” if I don’t know how to do something right away or need to modify a certain move. Joining OTF has been one of the best decisions I have ever made when it comes to my healthy journey!

I like that its a very positive environment, and that you can work on your own pace but also are encouraged to challenge yourself without being singled out by an overly aggressive trainer. The stats are also a key for me because you can actually see where you are improving. My relatives in San Jose have been in love with OTF for a couple years now and I am glad they encouraged me to join.

Ive been going to this studio for over two years. The staff and coaches are all very positive and helpful.The full body workout takes one hour, but feels like 20 minutes due to the variety and enthusiasm of the class. I definitely believe in the OTF approach to fitness.

I did my free class 4/3/17 w/my neighbor. We had a good workout. We both are dragging this morning so it must have been the workout. Wed join but it is just too expensive at the Long Beach, Ca location. Its not a gym so you dont get any of the amenities of a gym. You cant go whenever you want like a gym, just the scheduled classes. So, at $79/mo for 4x a month is costly. They charged my friend $30 for a class since she used her free class elsewhere already. Yikes!

I love the variety-- every day is different. I like the feedback from the HRM and in-class screens. It is the right level of competitive push. I also like that the efforts are scaleable. When I first started and after a prolonged injury, I was able to be a power walker for a long time before moving back to jogging and I never felt pushed too hard to do one level or another. With the exception of long distance cycling many years ago, this is the only workout I have ever really loved. I also feel like the coaches are all very focused on proper form and alternative movements to address injuries. You dont see that in a lot of fitness group classes.

No two workouts are the same, educated & motivating coaches, class times that work with my (sometimes chaotic) schedule, easy to monitor my success with follow-up emails and and an app that keeps record, goals (like the marathon), partner workouts, good music, efficiency (like first-come, first-served with treadmill number cards & assigned stations), friendly front deskFor the first time in my life, I actually look forward to exercising

OTF has been life changing for me. I have always been a member of a gym but always got bored with the workouts after a couple months. OTF is never boring. It is unbelievable to me that I have gone 5-6 days a week consistently for over 2 years now. I look forward to going and love the motivation from the awesome coaches. It’s not just a gym but a family of like minded healthy people.

I like the workouts but am very frustrated with being told their system has just been updated. I have had issues getting my heart rate monitor to work at the start of the workouts and I am not getting the feedback on the workouts. Besides the workout, I rely on these to motivate me. Continued issues do not make the money worth it.

Highly engaged coaches throughout the session! Yes theyre yelling out directions and whats coming next but theyre also making connections with individuals, making corrections and modifications as well as motivating the group as a whole.
