Very clean facility. New equipment and well spaced. 4 rack Bumper plate station.The biggest plus of this 24 is the massive fans all over. Many 24 spaces lack airflow. This is the best Ive seen.

Not my usually gym but since the Pandemic this is nearest 24 in my area with OUTDOOR availability. I like it, really organized good amount of equipment and seems like they are expanding slowly the outside .

Good workout space. About every corner has a spray to clean machines and weights after use.

THEY LIED TO ME! I was told that I could pay $15 without any commitment, and after 2 weeks I can decide whether or not to actually start my membership. Now they called saying that I have to give a payment to pay for the month because THEY messed up in telling me that! They said they need a payment because of liability issues. Well maybe they shouldve disclosed that in the first place! I was actually willing to pay a couple extra dollars to go there but I guess I shouldve checked the reviews of this place. Seems like they just offer people that $15 to weasle their way into getting people to pay for at least a month. Id rather go to a more honest gym for less. The people behind the counter here dont know what theyre doing.

I went @ the perfect time! The distancing was perfect. Not many people were there! Every consumer cleaned before & after using the machines (including me 😁) I will get back to my workout regimen soon!

I purchased a day pass yesterday morning at 9am came in just now just to be put on hold by the maintenance guy who was checking members in and when the girl finally came to the front to verify my pass I told her her serviced sucked so I get kicked out for yelling. imagine that. Female bullying is a real thing.

If we ever had any problems its always been worked out....I started with family fitness turned into wins Then 24 hours bought them out...Started in the eighties... been with them ever since...Now Im a silver sneaker...

Man I love going to the gym but this outdoor gym. There is no staff inside to see what is going on. You have people sitting at a machine for an hour not using it just sitting there. You have staff that does not pay attention when you sign in. I don’t even think they know if anyone is not suppose to come in the tent. There is no one there to know. A shame I have to pay for the gym then go home and workout because people are sitting on machines that I need to use for hours. I spend 2 hours here all the time it’s the same thing and I’ve only been going here for a week. Smh

Full disclosure, I am writing this review after two extremely frustrating experiences with this location. It is one thing to fail to notify your clients of a class cancellation once, but apologies only mean so much when you’re not changing the problem behavior. Today, was the second time that I have driven all the way to this location after triple-checking the app and contacting the front desk to confirm that the class was for sure going to happen. However, it is the second time that I have been told upon arrival, that they are actually not having the class that they advertised and just never bothered to update the app or notify the front desk to tell people that are calling in that the class is not happening. Apparently, you cannot trust that the classes they list and state are happening, will actually be held as promised; EVEN when you do the due diligence of calling them to confirm twice before driving to this location. I would not recommend this location to people who go to the gym for classes or have to drive significant distances to get to the gym.

Doesn’t enforce masks, once you’re past the entrance you’re fine to not wear it essentially.

Great to be inside again, frequently cleaned and disinfected. Great classes.

First time ever in a fitness gym and found this place is great. Trainers are wonderful and understanding. Everything was new to me so he was great at showing me the ropes, so to speak. Im luck, its walking distance from my home.Only one day in but I recommend this place. More updates from me later

NOT 24 hour fitness! Not open 24 hours. A lot of the equipment is not functioning properly, approximately 40%. With all the weight equipment available, theres very few 5 & 10 pound plates, not enough to go around and people are continually walking around looking for them. Often there are none available at all and thats at 5am when its not busy. I am updating this post, as of May of 2019 the situation is worse: Approximately 60% of the equipment does not work properly and they have raised the monthly cost to pay for new upgrades, which are the Televisions that only operate off of the 24 hour fitness Wifi that does not work at all. We have been coming here for two years and there is no effort by staff as it pertains to cleanliness, maintenance and upgrades.

I have been a member for 12 years. Finally cancelled recently. So many machines are broken. They never fix them. Pins are missing from the weight machines rendering them useless. I have brought it up to management for two years. Still broken machines everywhere and I pay $35 a month? The place is dark and depressing. I am glad I finally cancelled and moved on to a better gym.

For a supersport this place is trash. Broken and old machines. The club is so dark it reminds me of a strip club

Ive been going to this gym since they renovated. Its always clean with towel service and friendly staff. The equipment is usually always functional and quickly serviced if not. No real complaints except that it usually gets busy around 4-8pm. Best tunes to go are late nights or mid morning.

Great location, large parking lot. Ive been to many different 24 Fitness locations from Washington, through Oregon and California. This 24 Hour Fitness - Super Sport was clean, well kept and enjoyable on the day of my visit. Yoga class with Angel was nice, plenty of machines to workout on. The pool, sauna, steam room where are very clean and working nicely. My eyes are burning a bit from the pool or whirlpool but other than that Im feeling good.

This is like my home away from home I love it! 💕💓Its kept clean; and its a very friendly community. If you want to get fit and stay healthy this is a great place to start.

Personal trainer Nick is the best! I highly recommend training with him. They also have a pretty good class schedule and a fair amount of workout equipment. Ive never had to wait for a machine for more than a few minutes.

My original gym it got me started with the fitness lifestyle. So much has changed so much has not. Yet they strive to stand for greatness yet the machines say different. With all the members already and memberships still joining you would think the facility would be better maintained. Its always something with 24hrs yet I love that they are opened 24 hrs. Id have to really want to go visit. L.A. FITNESS is my main gym and I have 4 different gym memberships .

I have definitely seen better 24 hour fintess. They need to fix their equipment and spend a little money making sure things are working and their staff needs to be more attentive. I still got a descent workout though.

Love this gym and it is huge! Full basketball court,X room, spin room, pool/spa/sauna, two story open gym. Its a drive for me but worth it because there is a big parkkng lot. I live close to the Ocean location which is a total joke. Only good thing about Ocean is the staff.

Nice Gym. It would be even better if Corporate 24hr would go back to labeling their gyms as the type of gym membership that is required. I travel a lot for work and visit many 24hr fitness facilities. I love the flexibility of being able to use any on of the Sport Gyms with my membership, however its often hard to tell which gym is which unless you get to the door and read the fine print. Google maps would be a great place to place the gym type so when folks like me a searching for the nearest sport gym it is clearly spelled out.

I go to a lot of 24 hour fitnesses all the way from San Diego to Northern California Ive saved them under my Google folder as five star gyms this is one of them. Friendly staff good parking safe and towel service with a pool and a spa cant beat it. Yes there is a couple of issues with things being broken but thats normal.

All the areas for exercising are very and in good conditions. They give you towels!!!Also, they offer childcare and have an area for kids. Staff there is friendly and respectful and they try their best to fit to the customers necessities. The pool area doesnt have a lifeguard.

Come here often. Most of the time the equipment works. Towel service is great. The classes I have taken have really good.

It might get too busy around 6 pm, but other that that its a decent gym. Worth its money!

We love that it is 24 hour but the place has a lot of equipment that doesnt work properly, it looks like it works fine but theres always some aspect of the machine thats not working correctly, and they just upgraded to new TVs with an app to watch them but the Wi-Fi is so poor that the shows are constantly cutting out and you have to re log on over and over again .

I like this gym a lot. The upstairs cardio area is pretty sweltering, but who goes to the gym to avoid sweating typically? Its usually not too busy, though I do tend to go at non-peak times. Sometimes I have to wait for equipment, but its not ever too bad. The towels are awesome. I in fact kept coming back because of them, and now it has become my gym of choice in the area. Equipment is in good order, and if anything is broken it gets fixed pretty quick, which is awesome.

They have been closing other 24s in the area..forcing more people to one location. Thats business - I get it. What I dont get is that they didnt increase the amount of exercise equipment at the remaining locations. At non peak hours there are not enough treadmills, and (at least) 6 are non functional. At peak hours this place is a nightmare. Would not recommend to a friend.

One of the best places to get your swole on in LB, love hitting this gym after work to cool off and just get that pump in. The staff be always on top of they game, extra towels, clean bathrooms, overall great facility yall

Lockers were despicable. Everything imaginable was in need of repair or remodeling. Gym equipment was very dated. None of their equipment was state of the art by any means. In fact, some cardio equipment had rust! That’s how you know it’s old. Extremely cramped, there’s barely any room for the exercise equipment. Some only inches from hitting the wall or mirror. There is no reason why I will ever go to this gym again.

The place is a little dark but overall a great gym. The pool sauna and hot tub are well maintained.

I miss indoor but this works for now

It started good then kept taking money after I ended my no contract contract with them. The refund is taking over a month to refund me my money they stole. Its ridiculous how every week they keep saying itll 7-10 business days to return my money yet its been over a MONTH! wost place!

I love this sports gym. Love the equipment. Its maintained clean and staff is super friendly.

Nice gym. It has two floors with the top floor being all cardio and the bottom floor having additional cardio and weights with two dumbbell areas. It is normally kept pretty clean and the staff/fellow gym goers are really nice with good gym etiquette. They have a basketball area and a Group X room that offers the normal classes that they would at most other 24 hrs.

Good gym, plenty of machines to use. Pretty clean as well, plenty of parking right in front of the gym.

I was expecting better service, I went for my first training session and the trainer Kevin, told me to look at the pictures on the machines and he left me there guessing in how to used them, .

I enjoy this gym in Long Beach. The best time to go there is in the morning hours. They offer a basketball court, cardio has lots of machines and a good amount of free weights.

Today, I counted a dozen cardio machines that were out of order downstairs alone. That is ridiculous.

Worst experience trying to use my 3 day trial pass..sales dude at around 10pm told me that it’s up to him to give me the 3 day pass and if I’m not looking to sign up, he doesn’t have to give it lol just know that anything that’s free always comes with some bull..also, prepare to be JUDGED on all levels..can’t believe the questions and demenor of the sales guy who helped me that night, questions like “ur a nurse? U make good money right? Why can’t u pay this?” Lol I mean it’s none of ur business why I can’t pay that much each month dude and that’s the reason why ur at the “bottom of the Totem pole”. I would write ur name here but if you are reading this, you know exactly who you are 🤙🏼

Standard 24 hour super sport, no complaints so far.Please note, the entrance is in a different location than it used to be. (its in the middle, on the parking lot side)Its been a while since they upgraded to a super sport, but it threw me for a loop the first time I went back.Open 24 hours.

I got a membership trying out for 10 days and I didnt like it, came in and canceled, got traded bad and then I got charged extra on my credit card on file, DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD am going to report them

They have 6-8 good treadmills on the main floor which leads to them always being used and a wait if you want to use one. All of the treadmills upstairs are old and broken...missing buttons and some arent even level and shake from side to side when in use. Leg machine has been broken for almost a month now. I use the HB location for more updated equipment.

Not an enjoyable experience at all. Customer service is even worse.

This gym is nice, but there are equipments that needs to be fix. Cleaning crews are friendly and done a good job with cleaning. So far, this gym is good.

Glad Im local, really enjoy working out here. Im a regular and the staff and guest are pretty awesome making it a great place to work out.

Venue - For the gym to be a Super Sport its not to standards in my opinion. Place is always short on weights, dumbbells and dated equipment. The layout is like a puzzle trying to figure out where certain stuff is if its your first time.Parking - Its ok but at times you do have to circle a few times before you find one.Staff - Just like any other gym the say Hi and Bye from the front desk and thats it. Never seen a staff member put away weights or cleaning around equipment also, except for one time they fixed a mirror.Overall its the closest one to me on some days and it is what is, but I wouldnt really recommend it for new people looking for a new gym.

This is a very popular gym. After work it can be impossible to find a parking spot. It has the largest swimming pool of all 24 hour fitness that I have been to with the exception of the Irvine Ultra. It sometimes takes a week or two to repair or replace things like show fixtures, light bulbs etc

How do u guys have 4 stars - been here 3 x in last 2 weeks - Mens Shower - NO SOAP - NO HOT WATER - BROKEN SHOWER HANDLES - Jacuzzi Closed on Saturdays? Broken Equipment - Oh but you installed new lights great now the calcium skum that is illuminated is easier to see. You guys are a joke. Hire a janitor to be there more than once a week. Charging for initiation? What? Wecome to our disgusting club. Get ready to have some creeper look at your piece in the changing room. Joke

I absolutely love going to this gym! The service is friendly and the class instructors are awesome! My only complaint would be that some of the spin bikes are a bit out of shape (shakey handlebars, spin shoes dont clip in easily, some pedal strokes feel rigid, etc.), but I always have a positive experience with the motivating instructors.

Makeover!This 24 Hour Fitness received the equivalent of a breast aug, butt lift, face lift & collagen injections!Ive been a member here since around 1997. When I signed up, I was promised there would be boxing equipment and other wonderful delights. Never saw them. I did and do take advantage of the hours. I absolutely hate gym traffic, so I enjoy the off times when a lot less people are working out. Which is why I will always stay with 24 Hour Fitness.The place looks great! The bathrooms are nice, albeit with limited seating. The pool & spa area have been touched up. The main thing that wets my whistle are the basketball courts. Now, I can fantasize Im Kobe Bryant in the 4th quarter at 2 in the morning. I asked the employee at the desk if theres been any fights yet and he said there hasnt. Im sure people will throw too many elbows, leading to a squabble or two.All the machines are either new or refurbished to look new. I really dug these Rocker machines where I rock during the muscle movement. Weird at first, but definitely a nice touch. Plenty of flat screens around to watch the ball games, news or your favorite George Lopez episode.I was grandfathered in since Ive been a Sport member. I dont know how much 24 Hour Fitness charges for membership, but Im glad my local gym has been revamped with no additional cost to me. Winning!Excelsior...

Equipment is a little beat up. You see replacement machines every now and again. Rather busy during the afternoon rush. Lots of machines and people are nice enough to let you work in. No towel service even though a Super Sport tier. Free parking.

Best 24 Hour fitness in long beach dont know why people are being so negative about this gym its great plenty of equipment and space if you know what your doing when it comes to working out if your a new be then maybe you should figure out what your fitness goals or get a trainer .... the ambiance is great very clean place .

Old broken down equipment, only 2, 8 lb. Medicne balls to be found, stability balls need to be inflated and not everyone is made for the medium size balls. Get some of the larger ones for us folks who are 6 tall.

What I like here is Free Wifi but lakewood and Cerritos super sport not yet . Would give this place 3.0 to 3.7 .watch your head when your going in tranior area if your very tall its only thru like 6ft 2 or 6 3 . sauna,and,steam is better than those 2 other sport gym I been to . the lights is not bright. Thats what I like.and there no evalator but stairs to,the cardio, its a small gym 4 lanes on,pool but small machine, some,workout are old, here is clean not like lakewood super sport, basketball court are so small, u I keep get hit the roof,its only 4 bbballcourt, plz improve that and get room 2,more compare to other2 super sport near me, lw and Cerritos

My go-to 24 Hour Fitness! Weights, swimming, basketball, a crossfit section, and so on. This gym has it all!

Not The same excitement like some of the other Super Sports. Still a lot of older equipment with some new. Missing key Machine not impressed with this Not so Super Sport. Go to Lakewood or Cerritos for a better experience.

My favorite 24, but it’s so far from home. TONS of cardio equipment. Free weights for days. Always fri badly service. My only issue is their payment system. I made two cash payments for my membership here and they were never applied to my account. Then they insisted that I bring them my receipt. And when I couldn’t find at first (I live very far and it wasn’t in my car) they wouldn’t review the camera. It was kind of frustrating, but it’s still my first choice when there no traffic.

One of the nicest 24 hour fitness gyms that i have been to. I just joined a few months ago. Awesome staff and they always have a fresh set of towels ready for you. I recommend the zumba and nike classes!

I have been going here for 31 years.The people are friendly & nice.I love the equipment.Unfortunately the Music they blare into my ears,is not music but some alien sounds made to make your experience almost unbearable .What have you done to stop it you ask?I have worn earplugs.no use the music is too loud, asked many times to turn it down,spoken to the Maniger,going to call corpret Offices.So here I am complaining on Google.PLEASE 24 HOUR FITNESS LET ME LISTEN TO MY OWN IPOD!!! MOST PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN MUSIC TO LISTEN TO.!!!Or explain to me why you want to ruin my hearing,& force feed me elevator Music.It is not FREE to go there!!!Listen to the people who pay your Bills.

I like this location. The premises are in good shape, and there was a great selection of equipment for every muscle group that I needed to exercise.

The equipment is clean. Locker room in good shape. Staff a bit young yet knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

I grew up around here and dont remember this being a Super Sport... I walked in while visiting and they were kind enough to let me work out for 1 day without a Super Sport membership. I live in San Diego now and go to 2 different Active and Sport locations which have MORE equipment than this Super Sport... Okay, this one has more cardio equipment and a bigger pool than my local Sport, but nothing which justifies the extra $$. Theres only 1 chest press machine - no incline - and the free weight area isnt any bigger than my Sport - plus they take up prime bench/free weight space with an unreasonable amount of ab machines. Idk if all of the local franchisees got together or if the same people own them all, but this is nothing more than a money grab, as theres no justifiable reason to have upgraded seemingly every location in LA County; if I were still living in the area, Id join Planet Fitness instead.

Best 24 that Ive been to. And Ive been to a lot of them. Only thing is it is a Super Sports Gym and I would have to upgrade to use it again.

I like going to the aqua aerobic swimming pool class, the instructor Ms.Gwen is too kool, I enjoy myself every time, I DO not GO into the steam room or sauna because others put vapor ON and I have asthma, SO thats not nice, IT would be nicer to have the pool warmer, just saying!!!!!!

This was a great (4 1/2 stars) club until a bit over a week ago, when the steam room stopped working. Now, the Jacuzzi is down to bath water temperature (you could stay in for an hour easily, lots of soap bubbles too!), and the sauna feels like a typical summer day in Long Beach (100 degrees maybe?) Both dryers in Mens Locker room non-functional, spin dryer has been removed. Staff on the phone was extremely rude when I called them 10 minutes ago to find out if they were ever going to fix anything. What has happened? Look like something is going on, like theyre broke maybe? I am very sorry to say this, but I am beginning to wonder whether the entire chain might be about to bite the dust, as the cowboys used to say. New owners took over about a year ago and evidently, they dont know what they are doing.

However I cant think of one positive thing to say about this supersport. The service is unfriendly, the lighting is extremely dim and discouraging, the weight selection is poor, the machines are outdated, the basketball courts make me want to take up a different sport, oh and their hoops have square backboards, yes square, not rectangular (thats a first), the water dispensed from the fountains is warm, and the whole place just looks likes it could use a good cleaning. Im moving to LB for school and lets just say Ill be canceling my membership asap considering that this is the higher rated 24 hour in the area.Two thumbs down.
