I have been a member at this womens gym for a few years now! Best decision i ever made as far as gym memberships are concerned. Everything about this place is phenomenal!!

Dark on the outside and inside. Dingy. Old machines. Definitely needs a face lift. Didn’t see any cleaning going on. Staff inattentive and on their phones. Weird set up. Small.

I absolutely love Planet Fitness, it’s like my second home, I was diagnosed with Arthritis in my spine which is a degenerative condition, so I’ve been working out for almost 4 year’s now to build upper body strength,I eat properly and I’ve lost over 25 pounds. I would love to share pictures of my progress.

If you’re looking for safety, don’t go there. They claim they require masks on and covering the faces everywhere in the gym, however even when you report people not wearing their masks properly or under their chin, they blow it off. You’d think with new cases in Michigan the highest in the county they’d care but they don’t. There’s a person that I know has been reported by several people on several occasions and she continues to not wear her mask over her nose and they just say thanks and let her continue. The manager knows this is happening and doesn’t care about the safety of the gym patrons. I stopped going there a few weeks back, been going to another location that actually cares about safety. Don’t bothering reporting it to corporate as they care about as much as the manager. Wish i could give it 0 stars.

I still wonder why people who work out here cannot for some reason clean their equipment. These people are just slobs and are disrespectful pigs. I like using the circuit to workout but what happens? People come in and disrupt my flow when they use a machine clearly available outside of the area to work out on. Then they dont clean it after using it. This is a huge pet peeve to me that people come in work out and dont do the entire circuit. Disgusts me....

A little expensive for what it is. But the clubs are clean and the showers are nice enough.

Planet fitness is the best gym for me, the friendly staff, the cleanliness, plenty of equipment, great workout, and the price.

Someone keeps changing one of the channels on the TV so Fox News isnt an option to watch. The tolerant Left should be able to listen to other viewpoints or at least make it available for others to watch. Ill leave this review at 1 star until I come 5 times in a row and see Fox news on one of their 13 TVsUpdate: theyve been doing pretty good recently. Upgrading the rating for now. Thanks PF!

Its a standard planet fitness location- I can get a great workout and then take a shower without much waiting for machines and showers even during peak times. it has been around for a while and doesn’t have the super clean looking bathrooms and rowing machines that the newer locations do and I have been considering switching my location to get these newer features. The paper towel dispensers could have better clearance with the trash can lids and the air hand dryers in the bathroom require a hand to basically touch the thing to get it to turn and stay on rendering them useless- if they fixed these things i would rate it 4.5 stars. it’s still a great, affordable place to get a workout

I’ve been to a lot of P.Fs in different cities throughout the U.S, but this location is the cleanest and has the best customer service that I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly, not to mention very friendly. Their assistant manager, Brooke, is very cute. If you want a location that’s clean and has plenty of equipment to workout at....COME TO THIS LOCATION! You’ll love it!

Love this gym! I only go at night for May and Jon. Wish they worked together again, they were a good combo and May wasnt left to do all the work by herself. Im happy shes there at night cause she makes my entrance and exit so much better.

Have to wear a mask while exercising.... Makes it kinda tough to breathe heavily

Good place to train for beginners

Well its not terrible.When I first joined, I hated it. THe lack of space to do calisthenics or any activity not involving a machine annoyed me. It still does a little but only when its a busy hour. For those saying that it is not worth $10, think again. I left LA Fitness and joined planet fitness. There is a big difference between a $40 per month member ship to a $10 per month gym membership. Seriously if you want anything more, a very attentive staff, a pool, a sauna, an abundance of showers, or even a juice bar versus a vending cooler with drinks then go to a different gym.You get what you pay for. This planet fitness is nice. The staff is friendly and they are constantly cleaning the floor and making sure the machines look nice. It is really Good for $10..in my opinion, we shouldnt get showers or lockers for a $10 membership. And the private changing rooms are really nice.

My visit to Planet Fitness was invigorating! I walked the Treadmill for cardio. I also road the bike for more cardio and circulation in my legs. Sit-ups for my abs and then I treated myself with a chair massage. The final treat was the Hydro-massage bed! Aaah! What a way to top off a good work-out.

No matter the location there is always an excellent workout to be had. The employees make the members feel welcome and are always glad you came. The atmosphere cannot be beat. It is worth the effort.

This is my home gym. I signed up a few years ago, and I have not used it as much lately as I should. I spend more time eating food than burning it off. But they have good variety of machines, personal trainer and the staff is chill and always helpful if you need something. The facilities are very good, and other than a swimming pool there is not much else I would want. I should come here more often, and although food is a higher priority I have only had their pizza once and have yet to try the bagels. If you are actually serious about coming they are a good option. But lets be realistic, youll probably sign up and never go or cancel. If thats the case at least get the free pizza and bagels!

Poor customer service. (although polite) Had an employee cancel my membership, it never got cancelled and I was charged for 2 more months of the membership before I noticed. Contacted the branch and politely explained what had happened. They acknowledged that I had called and knew exactly when I did, but refused to offer me any sort of concession or refund for the misinformation I was given. I pay for 2 more memberships on my account that were going to remain active until this experience. My polite request for a 20 dollar refund was denied and just about laughed at, so they wont be getting my $480 for the next year of two other memberships.

Been going to this planet fitness for about 4 years now and I love it! Plus all the workers there are nice & friendly! Plus theres a few hot guy workers there so 😍👍🏻 its nice to see them and all there gym epuitment is brand new and easy to use! Plus love to go tanning there as well after my workout love it there

Awesome staff! They constantly clean so you dont have to worry about going to a dirty gym. The busiest time is from 6-8 pm so finding a machine gets harder around those times, but you wont have to wait super long to jump on one. Only thing I wish they had was a free weight bench

I love the staff and location. The amenities are great. Other locations may be larger or have different equipment but no one has better service. I usually visit in the early morning hours. My suggestions are: enforce members clean the equipment after use, get hydo chairs instead of beds, a stable trainer, low calorie/low sugar drinks in cooler and toliet seat covers in bathrooms.

This is a good low cost option for fitness. There are plenty of treadmills and machines for use. The staff is friendly and helpful and make guests feel comfortable. There is a bit of a lack of equipment when it comes to weights (no free barbells at all, no rowing machine, etc.) With respect to value, its really hard to beat.With respect to accounting for membership, it can be challenging. I had issues closing an account that required me to go in and physically cancel membership. But if you can handle that, go for it.

Filthy location. Bathrooms are disgusting. Not even the toilets get scrubbed. Why would I want to touch your equipment when I have to build a birds nest before sitting on your toilet? Soap and sanitizer is usually empty. Poor employee training as I was misinformed of the annual charge being told I’d be emailed with a reminder as that was completely untrue. You might go to Planet to save money but it could cost you more in the end. $10/child/month (6 days a week up to 2 hours a day) at LA Fitness. Pretty sure I’ll be making the switch.

Came in Friday morning dreading my day due to my neck and shoulder hurting from the way I slept. Their trainer Danielle noticed I was moving funny and spoke to me. I explained what happened and since she didnt have anyone signed up for class she offered to spend that time showing me specific stretches for my neck pain. It really helped me to feel better.

Allison is awesome on the front counter. A kind soul and a great person to represent your business. She was very helpful friendly...and guess what!...NO JUDGEMENT...LOL :)

They ask you for two payment methods during sign up process. If first one fails and second method works fine, they charge late fee because first payment method failed. One lady gave me hard time because I signed up online and not at the branch and said its my fault that I signed up online. They will not refund my money. I did not give them any information to take money out my account I’m not even going there to the gym. I did not sign up online. Took out a total of 137.24 since March to may. When I called they said being someone did this you can cancel. Next day charged my card 39.00 and found out through corporate they never canceled me. They are stealing people’s money and using people to still there information so they can charge your card and then get away with it and tell you that I gave them my information online. Do not sign up they are frauds.😡😡😡😡😡💩💩💩

I shopped em all, and found that Planet Fitness would meet the majority of my needs, without unnecessary frills.I do miss the Bosu trainer ball, however, that I had at my previous gym membership. It kept challenging my internal balance mechanism!The staff are courteous. The music can be a little loud - but I have noise cancelling headphones.Thanks everyone!

My home gym is a newer location. I stopped in for a visit and was very pleased with this location. It was clean, staff was friendly, equipment is all newer and spaced well, has a core room and 30 minute circuit room.

I really like the gym, it has everything I need to workout, the check-in is easy. I am a black card member and it is good enough for me, I pretty much pay the extra $10 a month for the massage chair, if you just want to workout and leave I recommend the $10 membership

More Fair than Poor. I am a personal trainer/nutritionist and I used to manage gyms. This place is a good value for what you pay BUT the machines are really crappy and totally unorganized. The staff doesnt know anything about fitness or nutrition so they arent any help if you need it. Dont even get me started on the free junk food, its like telling an alcoholic to work out in a liquor store. The Lunk alarm is the most obnoxious thing I have ever heard in a gym. It went off the other day when no sound at all was made to set it off and it really does sound like a fire engine 10 feet away. Overall you can still get a decent workout in for cheap but the alarm and junk food ruin the experience.

Great place to go! Staff is friendly and helpful. I love the zero tolerance policy for judging or intimidating other members.Amenities are sparse unless youre a black card member. If you are, you can use massage chairs, hydromassage tables, and tanning bed. There are no towels though, so if you want to shower make sure you bring your own.The variety and number of machines is excellent: both cardio and weights. Ive never had to wait for a machine. Theres TVs everyone can plug into with headphones, and a few machines have personal tvs you can plug your i phone into for personalized viewing.They have an on staff personal trainer that is available to everyone. This is included with membership. I couldnt believe it! This is such a great value that I dont think Ive seen at any other gym.This is the ultimate judgement free workout zone, and I really love that. Theres even candy at the front desk, and pizza night once a month!Hardcore weightlifters should beware; this is not the place for you! Ive seen people dropping weights and grunting while lifting be asked to leave. They really do mean no intimidation!This place is perfect for people trying to get into shape, especially if youre just starting out. No one judges you here. Everyone does their own thing, and goes about their business. Even though I have black membership and could go to any planet fitness, this is my hands down favorite.

This is actually my home gym...place where my first impressions were made... it IS a friendly atmosphere, BUT is a smaller set up...the layout is slightly uncomfortable & is lacking. (I dont want to do crazy AB stuff in front of total strangers...like front and center 😳) Whereas, other PFs have other (more) amenities...as in: Ab Workout area...& basic overall space.Also, the keep-up is a lil lazidasical. Do want to reiterate...everyone is friendly; that means a lot! 😊👍
