Awesome local gym 💪I love the size and environment. Its the kind of mindset I want to be around as a martial artist, dancer, kick boxer and boxer. Im so looking forward to taking classes and meeting more people here!

This is an incredible gym run by phenomenal people. I am not a gym person, but I love starting every day with a fun work out that is challenging and makes me feel strong with an inspiring trainer and a group of equally inspiring, creative, fun, hilarious people. Cannot recommend this gym highly enough.

My son and his cousin loved coming here. Would definitely visit again and possibly look into a membership.

Spotlessly clean, super friendly and helpful staff. Its also not crowded so you can use the equipment you want to without issues.

Just went here a few times for open gym and the facility seems to have a lot of equipment and they do a thorough job cleaning up their stuff unlike some other similar gyms. Staff was super friendly and gave me useful pointers while I practiced. Just wish they had a trampoline (if they have one I didnt see it)

Very cool place for my 8 year old. He does open gym and always has fun. Wish there way a little more instruction to help him learn new things, but Im sure they do that in classes.

My sons have been coming here for a year now. They absolutely love it. We took the summer off to vacation a lot and the boys cant wait for September to get here so they can get back to Phoenix.The instructors are all fantastic, energetic, highly skilled young men and women. You can tell they genuinely love their jobs. They are so good with the kids too. My sons really look up to Jacob, Jessie and all of the teachers. These are great role models for your kids to have.Both of my sons joined parkour after playing football for years. In only 1 year both sons have learned to do so much cool stuff. Most importantly they absolutely LOVE going and they have gained so much confidence.Nerf wars is a ton of fun too!The facility is outstanding. Beautiful foam pit and great decor.It does feel a little pricey but when you do the math, if you take your child 4x a week, the amount your paying per hour is actually pretty low especially considering that the kids do get a lot of individual training because the class size isnt massive.I really encourage you to support this absolutely fantastic business!!!!

Im reviewing as a parent rather than as a participant, but I highly recommend Phoenix Freerunning for kids. The instructors are incredibly talented and wonderful with the kids. Ive never once been afraid that my child was in danger of being injured, and the teacher is SO patient and supportive! We tried several sports before Phoenix and they are definitely the best investment weve made. Ive already seen improvement in coordination and confidence, but the best part is that its so much fun! Great for all ages and ability levels, absolutely thrilled with our experience here.

My kids LOVE this place. The instructors are super nice and knowledgable, and the facility is amazing. It would be nice if the instructors were a bit more focused and less haphazard. There seems to be a lot of time wasted standing around. Otherwise we have been very happy.

The Phoenix crew is the best group of freerunners you could hope to learn from. Always challenging you to increase your skill, but always with the foundation of safety. They are constantly reminding us of techniques to keep oneself safe. I am very fortunate to consider these guys as friends.

Phoenix Freerunning Academy has a very cool selection of obstacles, walls and equipment to jump on, run across, climb and, in general, have a lot of fun with. The staff is also very helpful and weve gotten a lot of good pointers from them. My son and I have had a great time here and are looking forward to coming back soon.

Ive been attending for about a month now and I can not give it high enough praise. The staff are knowledgeable and patient and the classes are challenging but fair. Two thumbs up and five stars!

My teenage son and his buddies love open gym and parkour classes at Phoenix Freerunning, and the guys who work there are great role models. They encourage, challenge, congratulate, and console the boys and each other as they all try new things, sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding, always supportive, and always having fun. And its amazing to watch as well!

This is an amazing place to train. Best people ever! Would be here every day if I didnt live 45 minutes away. Once a week is just not enough.

From beginner to advanced this is a team that can teach it all! Very patient and encouraging teachers who have great simple ways to explain complex movements. The facility is clean and is a great place to practice a variety of moves. If you have any fear about this sport but want to learn, I would recommend going to Phoenix Freerunning Academy!

Both of my kids have been taking classes here for over a year. They love it. The instructors are patient and passionate about the art of freerunning. It is a welcoming environment--whatever your kids skills or physical inclinations.It was (and is) a haven for my two boys whose drive and instincts to climb, jump, scale, and flip were growing--even as their sizes and ages sometimes made them pariahs on the community playgrounds.At Phoenix, my kids get inspired: to challenge their own limitations, to make art of play, and to find adventure in every landscape. My kids have also gained a place where they simply belong. From their classmates to their instructors, whatever their ages, these people are my kids people.

Phoenix Freerunning academy is probably the coolest place in Livonia- let’s be honest. 😂I have always been an active person and obsessed with American Ninja warrior, so this is my favorite place to go for that! Highly recommend going here- the staff is very friendly, helpful and always on top of things. The warped wall and foam pit are my two favorite obstacles. Hope this helped!

This place has classes for parkour and freerunning which are very fun and great exercise, but open gym is the best place to find out what your body physicslly can and cant do. There are knowledgable, safety oriented employees who check on you from time to time and give you tips, similar obstacles, or safety precautions (padded floor mats or common what not to dos), all based on what youre doing at the time. Its a judgement free zone and one of the best ways of improving overall athleticism and feeling more confident in your bodys abilities.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always willing to help and very supportive, even if you dont get it right very quickly. The events are fantastic and the gym has a great setup for safe, fun training. I would highly recommend to anyone.

My boy loves taking classes at Phoenix. The instructors are fantastic. The giant foam pit is great for practicing flips. I would recommend Phoenix for anyone how has kids that love to move.

We go weekly. It is a great place with a very knowledgeable staff, they will get us to do side flips in no time! If you are a dancer and are looking for a safe place to practices lifts this is it.

We attended the Kids Parkour Workshop yesterday and my 8 year old was begging to come back tomorrow before even got out of the gym. The instructor was very patient, helpful, and encouraging throughout the lesson. A testament to how much we love it is that we live 2 hours away from the gym but are willing to travel once a week to continue going. If it was in our town we would very likely be there daily! Thanks again for an awesome experience!

This place is awesome. My son loves coming here and learning Parkour from teachers who know what they are doing. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but charismatic and the kids really like them which makes them work even harder to learn the moves. My kid hated sports until we came. My sons attend Phoenix Freerunning Academy and love it! I am very impressed how the young men who own and work for it are not only passionate about freerunning/parkour, but are also really good at teaching it to kids from (as Ive seen) about 5 to 18! Many people are passionate about things but that doesnt give them the ability to teach it well. They are patient and encouraging with all of the kids - I highly recommend this facility!

The Phoenix staff put careful (full of care) thought into the gym. If your child, boy and girl - parkour is a sport for all - is interested in getting into parkour/freerunning and you live in or near Livonia, take them to Phoenix. Children naturally have excess energy, so do take them to Phoenix to let them get that energy out! The Phoenix staff is friendly and hospitable. They have the necessary knowledge to educate your child in the art of motion, from the fundamentals all the way to the complex. Your child will learn how to fall safely and properly, learn body awareness, and how to move through their surroundings with ease.

They are really great with kids! My son is 8 years old and had a blast!

We love Phoenix Freerunning! We need one in Troy! The passion of its owners is evident in the transformation from industrial building to a superheroesque-themed parkourers dream. This is no gymnastics gym-turned-parkour. This. Is. Fundamentally. Different. Fun. From the painted wood, to the grip tape and the car hood, the imagination is palpable. Owners: well done!

We drive all the way from Sterling Heights to this facility for our ten year-old son. I wish we could pick up the building and move it to Sterling Heights along with all the wonderful instructors. These guys are so talented and really have a knack for teaching these kids of all ages. Chaz has even joined in on parkour tag with our son and some of the other kids. How fun for these kids just learning parkour to get to try to chase and catch a pro-level parkourist (if thats a word). Needless to say they can never catch him.

Great gym. It is an amazing gym with anything youd want from a parkour/freerunning gym. The pros are always ready to help and teach and in my time there I have learned and improved so much more than Id I hadnt gone there. Id recommend it to anyone starting out or whos had years of experience.
