Ive been an avid Jeep enthusiast for 30+ years. During that time, I took pride in working on my own Jeep. Ive had several Jeeps over the years. I was hesitant to take my Jeep to the shop but Joe and the crew at The 4x4 Shop put me at ease. They are off-road brothers, are very knowledgeable and stand by their work. They fixed the problem the Jeep was having, provided exceptional customer service, were reasonably priced and made a fan out of me. Im not one to write a bunch of reviews, but The 4x4 Shop impressed me so much, I would recommend this shop to any off-roader.

These guys are legit! Joe & Larry take care of you like family. They dont try up-selling you like these other 4x4 shops, and best of all, these guys are very honest. Larry was the one helping me out beginning to end, and was there to answer all of my questions. I got my Jeep Lifted w/ some new tires. Couldnt be happier with the work this shop did. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my Jeep..will be bringing the Jeep here for everything it needs in the future. Bring your truck here, 100% you wont regret it.

The employees of this relatively new business were very helpful. Even when their distributor initially sent parts different from what was ordered. It ended up taking about twice as long to get the correct parts, but I never got the feeling that they hadnt done everything they could to get me the right parts as soon as was possible. Their prices were a bit higher than what I see online, but thats to be expected with any brick and mortar business starting out amid all the covid panic and uncertainty. Overall, i plan on shopping there in the future in spite of the somewhat limited initial selection of in stock items :)

These guys are great. Had an issue with my steps that they installed and luckily they had the part there to swap it out to fix the issue. I will use them again on my next truck and I would refer them to anyone

Dont know much about it, wanted to know more about the service and cost. Went to as few shops in Modesto and Stockton both not helpful, not friendly terrible service.

Great place for your 4x4 trucks! Mainly a Jeep place!Joe a great guy! He knows his stuff very professional!They did my re-gearing in my Jeep Wrangler JKU on this shop, staff are very informative on what needs to be done, VERY INFORMATIVE!I definitely recommend this place to whoever looking for a great place/price to modify/repair their vehicle.

Joe and his team do a great job. Support your local businesses! They have always given honest advice on upgrade options and know how to steer you based in your budget and requirements...and steer you away from less reliable products.

Had a suspension lift done on my JL. Joe recommended the package based on my anticipated use. Even though the parts didnt arrive in time due to COVID they took the jeep and delivered an upgraded package. The ride is much better than stock.

These guys were top notch. Very helpful, very responsive, and just all around good guys. Helped me get my truck in tip top shape with quick installs and very good recommendations. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on their truck

Great parts and advice.

Went in for an evaluation of my new Jeep and the owner Joe, gave me a one on one in showing me what I could place on my Jeep. I was able to get ideas about a lift and walked out with a new tow hitch. I would definitely recommend this 4X4 shop. Military friendly!

Lot of promising and look at the picture - they cant even mount the gear cover so it doesnt leak... On top of that I had much more problems with low quality work done by this shop. They may do good job only for them self so they can park own Jeeps on front of the shop for show

First off the customer service is unparalleled. These guys bent over backwards to help me in the first place, and when I picked up my truck I found out they threw in complimentary work as a wedding gift! They beat ANY ADVERTISED PRICE on tires. And theyre locally owned/operated. Id give them 10 stars if I could.

BEST CUSTOMER SEVICE! The 4x4 Store installed the Dynatrac ProGrip brake kit on my 2018 JK - and I am really happy with the kit. These guys are real pros, and they made the entire experience really easy and fast. What stood out the most is their incredible customer service - these guys are AWESOME! Horrible service !!! I went with my boyfriend to Lake Tahoe for Thanksgiving and his rear drive shaft start smoking right after they change ring and pinion on it! The smell of burnt oil was terrible! My boyfriend add whole bottle of oil to almost empty rear differential and we were driving over 2h very stressed, thinking if we are going to make it back home. This should never happen, especially after it was serviced just couple days back. Poor quality of work, do NOT go there unless you want to make serious damages to your Jeep.
