Most horrible place EVER.... THEY had my car for an entire month for a brake job and I ended up having to pay and additional $768..... Finally had to call the BAR to get them to release my car..... Horrible place

AWFUL! I recently purchased a Highlander from a different dealership. I wanted a towing hitch from Toyota put on. Due to the Covid 19 its been difficult to find parts. This dealership had the part but the markups are 20-25% higher than comparable dealerships even in Dublin. I decided just to get it done due to they had the part in stock. Problem Toyota doesnt make the 7 prong for trailer/braking device so I will need an after market part. This is a two part installation now. So Toyota is doing hitch and Im going to Uhaul to do other. So I was quoted a price but was told because I wasnt doing the wiring only the hitch it wouldnt be the full 4.5 hours labor. I dropped car off day before because I had a ride and out of convenience. I was given a price on the estimation sheet. It was slightly lower than quoted price. It made sense since they were not doing any wiring. I also requested a sticker on bumper area to try and protect it from scratching. I was given quote and estimation of .5 labor hours..same as all other dealerships. I recieved a call for completion. On the call John wanted to charge me double on the placement of the sticker... hourly rates are 176$. I declined and said I wasnt paying double what I was quoted. Then he became angry that I was quoted a lower labor cost then what he had given me. Mind you he was off the day I dropped car off. I explained that the quote was what he had written in the appointment note in the computer and the kid checking me in wrote what he had on the system. Once I arrived at the shop to get my keys John became animated with his anger. He also made a statement Im going to have to explain this to my manager you better not fill out one of those surveys. I told him he could have his manager call me I would be happy to inform him of this awful experience. Not only did you rack up charges on your quote you also told me there were no appointments on Thursday... they have an online coupon for 20% off on mid day work. I was told when I dropped my car off they definitely had openings. Very disappointed and feeling ripped off. To date management has not returned any calls.

Long-time Toyota customer, recent move to Livermore! Customer Service staff were very courteous, friendly and efficient. My Service Advisor, Chris Terlaje, was fast, professional and just *so* nice! This will definitely be my one-stop Toy Place while Im here! The Customer waiting area was extremely nice as well. With video games for antsy kids, and my favorite drink in the vending machine? 😁
