Im so glad that I found Lifes Good Racing. Chris and his team were great to work with. I brought 2008 Corvette Z06 in to fix some O2 sensor issues. I had taken the car to a Chevy dealership first and they gave me a wrong diagnosis. Then I took it to another shop in San Jose and they scammed me out of some money and came up with another wrong diagnosis. Finally I found Lifes Good Racing and they fixed everything. Chris was awesome to work with. He always followed up. He even checked on everything a couple days after the work was done. He was totally honest and upfront about everything. I am thrilled that we have a shop like this in the east bay. Theyll be getting all my business when it comes to my Vette and Viper. Thanks guys!

I used this shop for a full engine removal and replacement for my Corvette Z06, and added an accusump system for the track. They sourced the motor and all the parts and they gave me almost daily updates and professional advice about my car. I was blown away by the level of service and professionalism. I am extremely happy with this shop and highly recommend them. They know what they’re talking about and they don’t waste any time getting it done. 5 stars!

Chris and his team installed aftermarket seat rails for my car. They provided me accurate estimate and finished the job on time. Chris has great insight into the mods and their effects and was able to guide me with my future anticipated aftermarket parts, also point out caveats of certain mods.I highly recommend this establishment for your customization needs.The seat rails were installed to perfect fit.

When in for brake fluid flush and change to Motul 600, great service great job great crew got me in-and-out in a timely manner highly recommended place for all your racing needs

I dont usually write reviews, but I seriously owe it to any fellow car enthusiast out there, to put the word out about LG Racing.I went to LG with a project car needing a LOT of loose ends tied up. I had taken it to another shop that ultimately just didnt have the time to finish it up. I myself didnt have the time, (or more importantly the knowledge or skills) to even dream of finishing this by myself, and I was starting to doubt that this car was ever going to get finished.Chris in the front office was friendly and very methodical in outlining what needed to be done and how his team recommend going about it. In a nutshell, they told me what they were going to do, and then they went and did it. They were of course little bumps along the way, but anytime this happened I was able to speak directly with the tech whose area of expertise this was, whether it was a wiring, suspension or brake issue, etc. Before I knew it, they had turned by stagnant project car into a mechanically sound BEAST. I still can hardly believe they did so much, and with such amazing attention to detail, in the space of several weeks.Several days after I took the car home Chris called just to check up on me and make sure the car was doing OK, and to see if I had any questions. I honestly dont remember the last time ANYONE showed this type of follow up.For what its worth, I live 2 hours away from their shop and I dont plan on letting anyone else ever work on the car- even if that means towing it there.If you are contemplating a large (or even small) project for your car, you owe it to yourself to give Chris and the guys at LG a call before you consider going anywhere else.

I ordered American Racing Headers (ARH) for my Challenger Hellcat through LIfes Good Racing (LGR) and solicited their expertise/labor to have them installed. The installation went off without a hitch, but the new headers presented an issue with what felt like the steering linkage rubbing against them as well as a ticking sound. LGR got me back into the shop quickly to troubleshoot the problem. In working with the manufacturer of the headers it was discovered that there was an imperfection in its size and was causing the rubbing against the steering linkage. LGR worked with ARH to have a new part shipped immediately. The ticking was still present after the new part was installed and again, LGR troubleshot the car until they discovered that one of the lug-nuts on the driver side front wheel was loose and was making the noise. The presence of the new headers also caused the car to throw a couple diagnostic codes, making the check engine light come on. Those were analyzed, the car was checked for faults again and the code cleared.LGR continually went out of their way to ensure they delivered my car back to me in good working order and at no additional expense to me. At no point during the process did I feel as though I was being handled and was very comfortable with their expressed levels of professionalism, honesty and competence. I will very likely use LGR again for future maintenance needs and would recommend them to anyone.

My part where backordered but Chris kept me updated when they would be in. Chris also went his way to show me what to expect when I install my part.

Just recently had an MGW shifter installed on my Mustang here and it was a completely smooth experience. Customer service was awesome and everything is back on tight and the car feels amazing. Thanks Lifes Good Racing. I will definitely be back.

Finally some nice down-to-earth mechanics!The shop is awesome. Some track ready e46s, Camaro, the owner drives a classic stingray. All good stuff. Felt like the whole process was very transparent and personally tailored to me. It looks like they can help you take your project as far as you want to go and even offer track training sessions etc... They are also a distributor for many different brands, so check here first for pricing before you go online, most likely theyll be lower and youll get to stop by the cool shop too :).Had some poly bushings, tires, quick coilover adjustment, and alignment done and Im very happy and will come back. The first shop that gave me a good feeling doing business with them as soon as I walked in and I wasnt disappointed driving home. 5 stars for sure.

First of all, I just want to say the owner Karl is amazing when it come to customer service. He is very knowledge, very genuine individual and puts customer service as first priority which is not that common now of days.To be completely honest I didnt expect the owner of LGR to be the one help me out with my order. Everyone at LGR are very approachable and very honest. If they dont get the job done right the first time, Dont stress because of what a great shop this is, Especially when it comes to the customer.
