I went into Judys an hour before closing in tears asking her to fix a terrible manicure I had received at a salon down the street just moments before. With my wedding less than 2 days away, Judy and her husband got right to work and gave me a full set of acrylics and custom designed sunflower accents on my nails. I left crying tears of happiness because of my pretty nails that will be perfect fro my wedding day. Judy and her staff will have a life long customer in me!

From the pedicure to the dip it was a great. My nail tech did an awesome job on my dip color change. My nails are even and the correct shape. Ill be back.

I went and got my nails done, and they were good at first, but after a couple of days, they started breaking off. Very unimpressed.

Do not waste your time..The pics are only 8 days later with paying for a shellac manicure. Oh, and the way they conduct their manicures isn’t even a manicure. Let’s start with customer service... it’s very situational. This means that depending on the mood is what you are going to receive. Now I’ve been here three different times. The prices get you excited because it’s probably the cheapest in Lincoln.. but let’s remember, you get what you pay for. I would NOT recommend this place to even my cheap friends. The quality is very very poor. The staff isn’t so friendly. I would much rather pay the regular prices for a much better salon.. cheap cheap cheap!

I love Judy and her husband Kevin! The salon is very reasonably priced, the pedicures are awesome, and the waxing is very inexpensive. Her staff is very nice and thorough in their individual talents. If you make Judys your beauty salon you will become like family.

Terrible experience. Judy told me she was too busy to do my eyebrows in fact she said she retired and laughed. The nail tech that was trying to get me to let her do my eyebrows acted like I was too big to move in a chair with wheels. And the nail designs they advertise like ombre I was told they could not do! I left with nothing and they charged me 17$ to remove shellac. Never again will they recieve my business!!! If I could give ZERO stars I would!

I only get get my brows done by Judy. Normally shes really good, but today I scheduled an appointment to get them done, and she tells me No I do not have time for you hunny. I wasnt even asking for today. So I decided to call back to make sure I understand her correctly, and she said I do not do them at all. I am now force to find someone else to do them when shes done them for years. Everytime I got my toes done there I was dissatisfied. I will no longer return to Judys 🤷🏽‍♀️

They are amazing! I go in there every two weeks. I’m going back for an appointment for a wedding party there so good. They are respectful, and they talk to you. They will try to make it exactly how you want. I have never been disappointed.

My experience was not good at all. The workers were extremely rude and mean. Let alone, the job they did on my nails was not good at all. I walked out of there and within Judy’s to my car, my polish already smudged and I went in to get it fixed and they only made it worse. And then it smudged again after she fixed it. I will not be going back.

Just my overall review since ill no longer be returning. Ive been going to Judys for several years. Id always ask for Judy because she does the BEST eyebrows. Id get millions of compliments each day. And my nails were always AMAZING. But there were things that I wasnt okay with each time I went there. The reason I wont go here anymore is because the man thought i wasnt watching and swiped my card TWICE! My card declined the second time they charged it. After I confronted them about it, i pulled up the transactions on my phone as proof and they refused to admit it and ordered me to pay. But thats probably the worst thing theyve done to me. Another time I went, there were a group of girls who I assumed were on a girls day out. It was a little girl around the age of 5 or 6, with her mom and maybe her aunt. The little girl wanted her nails each a different color, which i thought was cute. Judy said she could only have two colors. The mom said she was fine with paying extra for more colors but Judy refused and said she could only have two. Funny? Im not a professional or anything but I dont see why she could get 5 colors. Maybe about 20 mins later the mom and aunt were in tears (im not even exaggerating), crying because the woman who were doing there nails were so rude. They complained multiple times that their nails were too thick and crooked, and they employees basically yelled at them and said it was their fault and that it looked fine. One of the employees turned on the fan so that her nails could dry. A few minutes later the EMPLOYEE turned it off and continued to do her other hand. When she was finished with her other hand, she yelled at the mom and accused her of turning off the fan, when I literally watched her turn it off herself. The aunt said I dont see why you guys are so rude to us. The employee said they were rude because when they come they dont tip big enough. The woman left crying. RIDICULOUS. Another event. I was the only customer in the store. A black woman came in and told Judy that she was looking around at other nail salons and wasnt happy with what they gave her and wanted to see what she could do. Judy told her that she needed to leave because after she was done with my nails they were closed. (It was only 2pm) The woman asked if she could come back tomorrow or the day after, and Judy said no because she was going on vacation. After the woman left, she told me she was LYING. She must have felt comfortable telling me because she didnt know Im biracial. She told me that she doesnt like doing black womans nails because they are rude and scare her and that they dont like to pay.

Worst place i’ve went to get my nails done. doesn’t do a good nails and judy is very rude. over priced me at the end saying it extra because it busy and it’s a saturday. accused me of being a liar in front of the customers. i didn’t waste my money paying and left the store. don’t go and save your money at a better salon.

The first time I got my nails done here was with my girlfriend and friend. An older woman did my nails and seemed to have a lot of fun making a design. It was really cool! My girlfriend and friend were a little jealous because I got such a great design with a lot of gems. So I decided to bring my mother here and I get a different girl who clearly hates her job. When I asked for a design (usually they ask you but she didnt) she seemed Very annoyed when she replied What do you want? I told her that Id let her use her creative judgement, something fun. She did a very basic design that I probably could have done better and said There. I asked if I could have a few gems to sparkle. She said No, those just fall off. I was shocked by her answer and said that I actually manage to keep mine on a long time and I would still like them please. She rolled her eyes and then proceeded to ask Me where she should put them...I literally had to point out where each one should go. The places she was going to put them made no sense and it was as if she was doing that on purpose. She seemed highly annoyed to be doing her job. It was this attitude and the fact that the owner was right there, heard and saw all of this and said or did nothing that has left a bad taste in my mouth so I wont be returning. The owner should know that 1 employees actions and attitude can lose a customer.

I️ needed to schedule an appointment for two full set nails so I️ called Judy’s for an appointment at 1 with her telling me it would take 30 minutes. We ended up waiting 20 minutes and when I️ said something like, “what’s the point of making an appointment” she was unbelievably rude to me! Her prices for pink & whites is high and when I️ changed my mind and said gel she said $40 even thought the price list said “20 and up”. I️ smirked when she said that so she refused to serve my friend and I️. Ha. Like ok? I’ll take my money elsewhere, it’s no problem. I️ used to go to all her nail places but she’s changed for the worse.

I saw the ad on the window for a $15 full set French manicure. I went in and asked for that and they proceeded to tell me after I had already had the set done that I needed to pay $20 and on top of that they chopped off almost the entire white tip of my nail leaving me with basically just my natural nails length. They were also just very rude in general. TRY LV NAILS ACROSS THE STREET BY SUPER SAVER FOR BETTER QUALITY, BETTER PRICES, AND THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Judy is short tempered and not very kind. Refused to give my friend more than 1 color of polish even though the last time we went it was no issue. My friend also got her eyebrows waxed; she flinched and Judy actually threw her hands in the air and yelled that shes done. Not to mention my nails kept coming up like there was oil on the nails when it done.

Got a gift card for my girlfriend to go there and enjoy getting a manicure and pedicure. She got shellac and it was discolored within a week. When she went to get it fixed, they blamed iton household cleaning products (never affected her shellac before) they said they would fix it but ended up charging her full price after they were done!

I thought I had been the bad nail salons before, but this place is absolutely disgusting. I watched the non-English speaking, non-licensed technician use a pair of tools then immediately jump over to me and try to use the tools on me. I got up and left and will never return.

Ive gone here off and on for years and I have learned that if you go in when they are not extremely busy and you have certain people then it is the best experience ever but if you go when they are in a hurry or you end up with somebody that doesnt know what thru are doing or someone that does not care about their customer or their job then it can be a total disasterI recommend not letting one experience dictate your feelings as with every place of employment there are times and people that change the experience and if you go a few times they usually remember you and you learn the people and times that work best for you

I got shellac done there less than 10 days ago & 2 nails have completly come off- not just chipped but peeled off as a whole. The tech laughed at me and said its been a long time when I sat down and did not do the process like it should have been done. Also my bosd waited 20 minutes to have her nails started, while another tech just kept bossing the busy techs instead of getting her started, then they rushed through & did a horrible job on her french manicure. Will never return here & do not recommend.

My family and I have been going to Judys for years. We started going when he store was off of Holdredge and 27th. We have always loved going to Judy, but today was the last time I will ever set foot in her place of business.My mother and I walked in for mani/pedis and there were only 2 other customers in the store. We waited well over 15 minutes to even get our water tubs turned on and then when they did get turned on we sat there for another 15 minutes when another walk-in group walked in and started being helped right away.I told the girl doing my pedicure three times I wanted the basic pedicure and she confirmed twice with me she understood. Halfway through another woman from the group that walked in after us asked what I was getting and I told her the basic pedicure. The woman doing my pedicure piped up and said well Ive been doing the deluxe pedicure not the basic in a snotty tone and I once again confirmed that I only wanted the basic one. Her and Judy spoke back and forth regarding the matter and I only assume came to the conclusion that this gal was in the wrong and decided not to charge me the deluxe price. That was nice.The same girl did my manicure and I made sure that she understood I only wanted the basic manicure this time and even conformed with Judy the basic mani. The woman still asked me if I was getting the deluxe or not. It was a terrible manicure. Super rushed and very sloppy. Every single nail is a different shape (I asked for a rounded shape) and some are even pointy enough that I had to file them down myself when I got home.I could have over looked all of this because I understand people have bad days, and I wasnt going to be rude about it (nor was I rude, they did charge me the basic price after all for my pedi) but the icing on the cake was when my mother asked Judy to wax her eyebrows. Judy did the waxing herself and used one stick for the wax the entire time. Not once did she get another clean stick to get wax from the extremely dirty wax pot. Double, triple, quadruple, etc dipping is extremely unhygienic. You never know whose face gunk is going to be in there. Its plain disgusting. I tried to tell my mom to leave right then and there but she didnt want to listen. I hope she doesnt get something from that disgusting wax pot.I will never again return here.

Seriously the WORST experience ever. Waited FOREVER to get my nails done. When My boyfriends daughter (she is 6) asked to get three colors the lady refused to do so. She said she will only do two colors? Like excuse me Why cant she get 5 different colors if she wants if I am paying for it. 2nd. While she was doing my eyebrows I flinched and She got rude with me and said she was done doing my eyebrows. I have been here several times and Every time the owner is being super rude to someone. They charge by the mood they are in. if the owner is in a pissed off mood then you are paying more to get your nails done. I will never go back here again after this. I will go somewhere where they are not lazy and will actually do designs, actually let you get as many colors as you want. and not put a limit on how many colors you can get even if you are paying for your nails. I have seen the boss Be super rude to this American girl that worked there that was just trying to do her job. She made her in tears because she asked one simple question. NOT OKAY. Very disappointed with my service. I went in to get a full set 4 days ago and two of them came off today. I had to change my polish the day that I went in because they had smudged the polish that I had them apply. I went in to see if they could fix them and I was yelled at and humiliated in front of the customers there. I was accused of not getting my nails done there due to the fact that I changed my nail color. The thing that is most disappointing is the fact that o have been a frequent customer there. I will never be coming to Judys again and feel that there is no excuse for accusing a customer and yelling at them the way I was yelled at today. Very, very upset.

Beware if you intend on having any service under $10 dollars and intend on using a credit/bank card. They charge $1 to run a card for under $10. We were told “If you no like it, you no come back!”
