My family loves buffet but there service was not good this morning. My husband and i wanted coffee. We got mugs when we paid at the door and left it on the table to go get our breakfast. We came back and I had to ask the girls to get us coffee. But food wasnt bad. Each one of us could make your own meal

Golden Corral was one of the best places that I used to go to almost every weekend, but not after the recent changes in management and some staff. The grill guy is not friendly and didn’t listen when you request steak and get irritated when ask for more than one piece. When I told the manager about the concert she didn’t take it seriously and disrespectful. Last time I was there requested well done steak and this is what I got.

First time is this place, and it was really good experience.the food is diverse and loved also the service was good

No doubt the best buffet Ive ever been. It has so many types of food like Mexican, America, Italian, Chinese, and there is even a dessert section. And the food is great. My favorite part is probably the ice cream.

Fresh fruit was delicious. Staff was great. There was another customer who was a jerk and judging against others.

Mixed review. Most beautiful Hispanic woman Ive ever seen is a waitress there... Very friendly and attentive too... I gave her a 50% tip. Dishes n utensils are very poorly cleaned... Health code hazard.. I read prior reports of this problem from other customers on this review site so it seems this issue is not being resolved by the owner/manager, which is sad. This particular location has more Mexican entrees than Ive seen at other Golden Corals... A good variety and tasty. Id go there again, despite the dirty dishes, just to see that waitress again! I wish I got her name. Id give this place four stars if they cleaned their dinnerware properly. This is coming from a frequent restaurant n hotel blogger.

Visit this place the food is good, you find a good assortment of dishes in the buffet, you could improve the quality of the food it seems that it does it out of conviction rather than satisfaction, as far as the service leaves much to offer, the people who receive you they never welcome, they just ask about your drink, this place has a lot to offer, but clearly it is a place where the owners, management and workers work only to feed and not to give an experience of satisfaction towards the client .

It would be a 5 star but with all this covid 19 going on and they are not allowed to let people get their own food is the reason for a 4 star. Having extra room to sit and move around is an absolute best now. I would still rather have the opportunity to make my own plate at the cost of the food. There is a wait in the area until someone sees you or comes available. Food is still as fresh as before. I will be back.

This is by far my favorite restaurant. I always say if you leave a buffet hungry, its your fault. If your meal is messed up, its your fault. Occasionally something might not be prepared to your liking. But you know what? You can just leave it and get something else. The ONLY problem Ive ever had (with 8+ years of going there) is when they opened back up after being shut down for COVID. It would have been nice, since they were putting food on your plates for you, if they would have utilized more English-speaking employees for this task. It was frustrating trying to reword my order 3 times or more, but in the end, I found just pointing helped a lot.

The food here is simply delicious, the roast beef was so good it was actually better than the sirloin steak and thats saying something for me considering I mainly go to GC for the sirloin steak. Every was perfect except one very important detail. It was scorching inside. You couldnt tell the difference between outside and inside it was just too hot to enjoy everything. Its very sad to say but even as perfect as things were I couldnt wait to finish eating just to go to the car for air conditioning. To be fair, they do have air conditioning but an employee said it wasnt working as well as it used to. With all the heat from the grill and everything it heats the air up so much that youll be sweating through your meal. Im not saying dont go here, but what I am saying is complain about this until they fix it.

Lots of options. Nice atmosphere. The food is not always the best, but some options will satisfy any critic.

Several of the main courses were cold. It wasnt a huge deal. I just got another plate. So many choices. The desert bar is definitely the best!

Great to have a GC open during the pandemic. I love being able to just get a little of everything and not have to make choices.

They do a lovely job of serving people as the pandemic has changed the way we live and Golden Coral has adapted! Great food, set up for social distancing❤, POLITE and FRIENDLY staff, very clean! Really a five star place and family oriented!

Now that all the shields are up its not so enjoyable to go to anymore. It used to be my favorite place to go for dining but its for sure not my first choice these days. I understand the concern about covid but having to have another person serve youre buffet is kind of annoying. I wont be going back until this virus issue is under control.

Ive had good dining experiences at this place. Huge selection of foods. Always looked fresh when I was there!!! Enjoy trying different things!!! The steaks are cut and cooked to order in front of you...really like that!!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Good place to go during the week when theyre not terribly busy!!!

I went in with my family, and it was not terribly busy at the time. Definitely not impressed. There were two people at the counter, one male, one female. When we went up to the counter, they took our money without really greeting us, then turned around to talk to each other. They did not tell us if we could seat ourselves, or anything. My father had to ask, and had to grab our own silverware. When he asked they again were very brusque and then turned to talk to each other. I wasnt very happy that they ignored us so clearly. Our server Thomas cleared our table and made sure that we had our drinks full, but he never introduced himself. One good thing was the food. It was hot and fresh for the most part. I especially enjoyed the chocolate waterfall. Overall, the food was good, but the service was pretty awful. Its sad because I remember them being very good back when I was a teenager, and I loved going here.

Lots of choices. The quality of the food isnt much better than what you would find from an institutional setting.Everyone can find something they will eat. None of it will be great quality. Kind of reminds me of school food. Maybe a bit better.Not a bad place to go with kids. So much variety, even picky eaters will find a few items they will enjoy.They do have steak for sunday brunch.

This place was ok. The food was mediocre and the service wasn’t great. However, the steaks were good. I think they were just understaffed. The lady refilling our drinks said she was covering the entire floor. So it wasn’t her fault. I’d try it again, but I wouldn’t make a special trip there.

Very clean. Very friendly staff. Prime rib a little too salty but everything else was fresh and delicious. Our server was Debra and she was awesome!

Should stay closed. People cannot speak English. Grill person was just frustrating. Did not know what medium meant! Table waitress was great, tried to fix things. One piece of chicken burnt, other was raw and bloody. Heard someone else complain.

The food was like it always was good. But what made the experience different was your waiter Thomas he was always on top of things not just for our table but for everyone. Genuinely a very nice guy. He was so polite. Give this man a raise!!!

Generally good food and good service. Brussels sprouts were mushy and over-cooked. Ice cream machine was not working very well. Main foods were good and cooked correctly. I will visit again and see how things are. I am 70 years old a manager tried to charge me full price on the lunch buffet until I corrected him. Small things, but they add up.

Went there yesterday morning, food was delicious & staff were friendly. our server Dua was awesome and polite. We didnt know they have seat cradle but she grabbed one right away for our baby. Thank you for your excellent service. Would recommend this buffet!

This is a great reasonably priced all you can eat buffet. Tons of seating and parking. They are great about keeping drinks full. And the salad bar area is awesome. It looks like the produce section at the grocery store. Just a huge selection in the fruit and vegetables section. They have a small Mexican food spot and some Asian food. Then of coarse American comfort foods. And they usually have steaks or burgers going. And the dessert bar is insane. You cant leave here hungry because there is something for everyone here.

Good variety of options on buffet. My steak (med. rare) was good but couldve used some seasoning. Also, would be nice to have better dessert selections. Would I go back? Yes.

Everything was fresh and hot! There was enough shrimp for everyone and the cocktail sauce was excellent! Oh, and the veggies were plentiful and the variety terrific.

For a buffet, theyve made up a wonderful system to deal with current affairs.

No problems whatsoever. Staff was nice and attentive. We didnt have to wait very long to get a table and we were a group of 14 and the food was pretty pretty good. The only problems i had was 1: it was pretty crowded. And 2: (and this is just a minor nitpick) the plates were always wet. Overall it was pleasant and Im glad to say ill be back

I went here for my birthday and was looking forward to going. I went around 4:15 to 4:30 and the food was old and awful. I asked for four different steaks before giving up because the meat they gave me had so much gristle I couldnt get any good meat out of it. The waitress was great though. She waited til the next cook came on and gave me a better steak, however it too had too much gristle. The quality of food has gone down dramatically and I doubt I will be going back. At those prices the food should have been fresh. Even the deserts were old and watery somehow. Worse experience ever.

We should have asked for our money back. Hot food was cold. The health inspector was there when we got there. Once they left the food out down hill. Hope nobody got sick. Sure wasnt like the commercial. Yuck! I could have made better food at home.

Most of the staff was courteous. Good selection of a variety of foods. Establishment was clean as well as handy hand sanitizing locations.

Love eating here. Whole family loves it. The guy cooking the steaks could be a little nicer. Also he needs to learn how to cook the meat. Medium steak does not mean that it should still be mooing on my plate!

Cannot help yourself anymore. Staff dishes out the food on the plate. Short on serving staff. Still has the chocolate fountain but the staff does it for you. Thats a good thing, kids cant put fingers in there.

Pretty good food for buffet style. The salad could use a little sprucing up but spring mix always does that. Nice toppings selection though. Steak was great, really well cooked. And the chocolate fountain was a huge hit with my daughter.

Horrible service waited 10 mins to be acknowledged at the cashier than 5min waiting for someone to come over and serve food. Barely any food put up and what was put up was cold.

GREAT. I always enjoy going there. Too much food. The steak was Perfect. Chicken very tasty. All the food was the way I like it.(except the fish, I do not like fish.) Good salad. Great desserts (desserts, I really like.)

I used to go to Golden Corral when I was young, in my elementary school days with my best friend, and honestly loved it. I was amazed by the variety of food there especially the dessert section, however that was years ago. Perhaps I was young and food tasted differently and that was solely the reason I wanted to return years later. Food didnt look good at all, vegetables were brown, old, and soggy, fried foods were dry and stale. Even the dessert was not at all appetizing. Just overall, the food was not that great. Customer service was great though, the waitress was super patient and very kind. I did see, however, one of the cooks through one of the doors open, eat a sample of the food as it was going on the grill. Unprofessional and disgusting, she didnt even change gloves. Never coming back, hated the food mostly. I payed attention to the customers and only saw older people, seniors. I guess this kind of place attracts that range of age now, other than that I would not recommend this place in the slightest.

This place is very reasonable during the days throughout the week. I go here often with my son that lives just north of here. I love it most because Im on a A.I.P. diet and they have mashed sweet potatoes, and meat without all that processed stuff in it. Best place in town with selection.

The variety is nice and the place is clean. I usually eat there once a week. The service is fairly good depending on what wait staff you get. I have had one server named Katie there that has given 5 star service! Very attentive, friendly and prompt with refills and bussing table.

Generally it is a good buffet. I rated 4 stars because like most buffets, you have to go on the right days to get the best food.

I am so concerned about the health issues at the buffet. Food temp wasnt hot enough as usual. I see a lot of people carried thermometers, however, I saw nobody using them. My main concern is the pouring of fresh food over old food. There is one other thing, I saw lots of food out of the hot or cold zone. I have brought it up to the health department and the management of the restaurant, and still havent seen any changes by either. Obviously they dont care.

Im sorry the Holden correlIs not the same the chicken was badover cooked dryec an hard this place had changed. The women was deaf an stubid it piss me off. Ive said 5 Xs wat I wanted. Horriable

The bathrooms were dirty. Even had a cricket in the sink. But, the food was tasty, especially the steak! The desert was yummy to. Our server: Brian, went above and beyond keeping things clean and our drinks constantly refilled!

A really nice place for family and friends to gather. A place where you can get most any thing your heart desires. The staff were very efficient as well. All in all a very friendly atmosphere.

It was amazing and beautiful. The food was extraordinary and hot, many kinds, southern, rolls, desserts and the salad bar delicious and everything hot and fresh or cool and crisp.

I attended dinner here with 3 of my pals for my birthday. Dinner was okay, dessert was good. However, the main reason we chose Golden Corral was for the promised 6 Free Yeast Rolls per meal. We were all so excited for the rolls BUT the staff only gave us 6 rolls total. We deserve our 24 yeast rolls. I am extremely upset.

You could tell that they hadnt switched out the hot food for quite a while as it was dry and didnt appear appetizing. Tasted very plain. Servers were good and kept the drinks filled and the table clear of used plates.

I would like to say that it was not a good experience. The silverwear and plates were dirty and took time to find a clean fork. The food was old and dry and overcooked. The staff were everywhere and it was upsetting to be cut off by a worker to wipe down the buffet with a dirty rag and it even brushed over the food with the rag! The server was very nice and kept the table clear which was good. I do not think i will be returning due to unsanitary practices!

Today dinner was fine. Had two waitresses who was very helpful and we talked about blessings and testimonies. You dont get that these days. Im thankful.

This is the 2nd time that I have visited this location. I was not too pleased with the taste of the food. The variety of options was good. There were 7 other people in the party, all of which left not pleased with the quality of the food.

We arrived eight minutes before closing (which we werent aware of) and went in to ask the manager if we could still eat. He warmly said we could, and also offered take plates if we didnt want to sit down and eat as another option. The restaurant was booming, it was a very pleasant atmosphere. Servers were EXTREMELY nice, food was so warm and delicious!! My expectations were beyond exceeded after it here! Manager and staff were extremely personable! We stayed until 9:45 (closed at nine) and didnt feel rushed at ALL. The manager was eating at this point and it all felt very family cozy. Loved this experience. My whole family enjoyed their meal!

The food was great! They were busy but the servers did not feel rushed. I had steak & mushrooms with fried okra with carrot cake & cheesecake. What a good selection of food & desserts but I was too full to try more!

Service was great very nice young lady helping us. Food was just average we got there on a Thursday night at 6:30 and they werent busy at all,Some of the food tasted like it been sitting there quite a while it all looked good but it did not taste as good as it looked but we made due we had a birthday they sang to my granddaughter. We went during their serloin and seafood special and the grill master was EXCELLENT - he cooked the steaks to perfection, the butterfly shrimp was delicious too. Our waitress was very friendly and kept our table nicely cleared. All in all, a great date night. 😊

Good food and a lot to choose from! There is a salad bar, grill, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, desert bar and more to choose from. Price is fair.Golden Corral is easily my kids favorite place to eat. Great place to take the family...nobody ever argues about going here because theres something for everyone.

I took my daughters there since they just love the place! It must be the chocolate fountain!! The wait staff was awesome! They took time and sang to my daughter for her birthday!!! They have improved, I think the food was better than some of the times we have gone.

We were traveling from Kearney to Omaha for my daughters surgery. It was about 8:30 at night and the restaurant closed at 9. We had 2 children with us and anyone traveling with children knows they can make a mess. The employees were friendly and patient even though it was so late. We expected the buffet to be sparse but the kitchen staff brought out hot fresh food for us. It was a great experience and very much appreciated.

Just had a fire inside and smelt like it was very fresh. Good food though.

The food is great, but if youre looking for employment here good luck. Ive been trying to get a hold of the woman who takes care of applications for over 3 days. Each time i call i get told a different time to call back to reach her Ive been told 10 am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and after 6 pm. Very unorganized and unprofessional. The manager i did get a hold of was nice, but unforunetaly he does not take care of hiring. If you are low on staff Ms. Amber is your issue

Have enjoyed it many times! But this time, something didnt sit well in my stomach, and I got sick. Nothing against GC, I think it was just bad timing on my part.

I love the selection! My favorites include: the bourbon chicken, fried fish, fried okra, and the carrot cake. I would like to see a better recipe for the banana pudding however. They always have stellar service!

I was so disappointed in last nights experience. I normally dont like to post bad reviews, but I felt like I really needed to post about our experience at this restaurant. 1. I wont be returning ever to this restaurant. 2. The food was horrible, and tasted like a basement smells. The meatloaf tasted like it was made with spam. Even the veggies tasted weird. I do have one compliment, the steak was wonderful. For two of us the cost was just over $33. For that price we could go to a steak house where we enjoy everything. I normally love this restaurant, and go there often. I dont know if there has been a change in management or ownership, but it was disgusting, and I wont be going back. I feel like Ive been ripped off. I shouldve asked for my money back. ☹

The Muskegon Golden Corral has its ups and downs. But, they are getting better. 3 new fantastic managers are working hard to improve the restaurants image and quality of service and food. Those managers are Andrew, Craig, and Jackie. Theyre doing a fantastic job.

We won 3 free dinners by getting a quarter into a glad in a fishbowl. Awesome. The food itself is always good. Also cotton candy for the win!!

Havent been to a Golden Corral for many years. Was pretty impressed. Was super busy but didnt have to wait more than a few minutes. They have service down to an art. Great assortment of food. Fresh and hot. And they still serve those amazing rolls.

Its a Golden Corral, so my expectations were low going in. The food was decent enough, it was fairly clean, and the waiter/bus people were excellent.However, we went in as a large group and the problem we had was our group called weeks in advance to ask for a reservation (specifically for the private, enclosed room) and were told we could have one for our group of around 20. Called earlier in the week to confirm the reservation. Called the day of and were told there was no reservation but they could still seat us but couldnt guarantee the enclosed room. At least one other group near us had the same problem, and had a difficult time finding seating together for their group. We were very cramped, and had a difficult time visiting with each other. Please use caution if you are told you have a reservation, because you may not.

Great service and delicious food. Restaurant is well maintained and cleaner than most buffets. We had a large family group of 25 and everyone had a good time

Very expensive. Lousy food. Frozen cottage cheese. Cold gravy. Fruit frozen to the serving bowls. Kids sticking their dirty fingers in the chocolate fountain. Gross!

Steaks were so much better this time. Either they have a great cook or theyre getting better quality of steaks. Kathy took care of us and she was a lovely young lady. Overall it was a good experience.

A great value! You can always find something good to eat! A great place to eat lunch. Spent $20.00 for 2 after discounts. We will be going back.

Have been there many times. This was the worst. Highlighting wings and ribs, two of my favorites. Very little meat, very dry, very disappointing- especially as I chose this place for our Anniversary. Steak was okay. Always low or out of food. Their prices on this occasion were way too much for the quality of food. Cleanliness wasnt up to par either - especially at the dessert bar.

Great customer service. The waitress was on point with refills. The food was really good the kitchen staff did a good job making sure the food was fresh and hot with flavor. It was a great buffet.

The food was about as you would expect from a buffet like this. A lot of it was dried out and had obviously been sitting out for a long time.There were very few vegetarian options, which was more my fault for not being sure. Ended up being a fairly expensive salad bar with some starchy alternative options.The waitress was working very hard to make sure everyone was satisfied!! I dont know her name but appreciated her effort!

Ive never been to the Lincoln one before but the food was nice and hot fresh and a lot better quality than the ones in Omaha
