My wife and I just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary here in January and it was wonderful! Our server was very nice, helpful and attentive. She recommended a wine (Chianti pictured below) that was great and paired well with our dinners. Their bread is great tasting as well. Our dinners were amazing and full of flavor! My meal was the Veal Marsala (which is pictured below) and it was purely delightful! Our dessert was creme brulee (also pictured below) and it was fantastic! If youre looking for a nice romantic place for dinner, look no further because this place has it all. Great atmosphere, outstanding service, and wonderful food. We will be back and not just for spacial occasions but to just enjoy the evening.

We went here for dinner tonight for the first time and I was sooo excited! When we got their it was very beautiful inside. Food was good, not great. Portions where large & enough for left overs.The staff was friendly & place was very clean. Probably won’t be my first pick to go back too but overall a good night with the family.

Youve never had Tiramisu until youve eaten this delicious rum soaked lady finger dessert here! The service in this dimly lit, cozy restaurant was on point and the fried ravioli was impeccable! We will be back, good for a date or families

Everything was amazing, from the service to the dishes we picked and the yummy cocktails. The staff and owner were all so courteous actually everyone that attended to us treated us as if we were regulars. This was our first time and definitely will be a favorite of ours! Thank you so much!

Visiting from North Carolina. I wasn’t expecting too much from an Italian restaurant in a suburb town of Sacramento, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Gnocchi and Veal Marsala and cocktails were all excellent.

Ive been to Buonarottis many times. The food and the service has always been excellent. I had the salmon this time and it did not disappoint. The wine (Tuscan Red Blend) was also wonderful. They have great pasta dishes too like Gnocchi and Bucatini.

This Resturant was great, playing Italian music and all the food was authentic, and tasted phenomenal. It is a great place to eat and enjoy. My wife had a shrimp scampi and I had the resoto salmon, Fantastic.. I will be going back soon.

I love everything about this excellent restaurant. Located in the heart of historic downtown Lincoln, Buonarroti Ristorante offers a charming exterior and a beautiful ambiance inside. The staff is very attentive and always friendly, and the restaurant is kept immaculately clean. The menu offers a nice variety of authentic, tastefully prepared Italian cuisine, and every dish is worth trying! I definitely consider Buonarroti Ristorante to be one of the best Italian restaurants in the greater Sacramento area.

Our mostly Sicilian family of 35 had a dinner two weeks ago in the private room. It has such a lovely, Italian atmosphere. Stacy, our main waitress, was so nice to work with and accommodated all our requests. Best of all, the food was excellent. We highly recommend the food, the restaurant and the staff.

Homemade dishes and amazing service!

Have had delicious Italian dinners here in the past. Last week we dined there and I was really looking forward to trying their pasta and sausage. I was so disappointed in the marinara red sauce! The flavor was terrible and the mixture was soupy, opposed to a thick flavorful Italian sauce normally associated with pasta. This ruined the evening for me. Other than that, the ambience of the restaurant was excellent, the service was excellent, and the bread, wine and sausage were delightful. The Management should check out the red tomato sauce with their roots back east for a proper recipe.

Good Italian food and ambiance is nice. I noticed the tablecloth wasnt clean halfway through the meal and brought it to the waitresses attention. Her comment was they would change it before the next guest. No apology. Not sure I will go back.

THE BEST BREAD AND BUTTER!!!Oh, yeah, the entrees are phenomenal too. The staff is unbeatable...and Josh Cellars cab tops it off. But we could make a decadent meal from the homemade bread and garlic butter. No exaggeration.

Wonderful atmosphere, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Music was nice but not too loud or obnoxious. Service was good, as were the prices. Had the chicken piccata, would recommend, came with scalloped potatoes which were sublime.

We had a large party there, 75 people. They were great to work with, flexible with our wants and needs. Let us come in early to decorate, let us do our own dessert bar and our own music. Service of our dinners was done pretty quickly and efficiently, food was good. We had half the restaurant, they still did regular business in the other half, it all worked out very nicely.

A date took me to this restaurant and what a great choice!!! We sat at the bar, where Lanisha was the bartender. The food was excellent, and her service was exceptional. She was super friendly, and gave us great recommendations. This restaurant is a must!!

Great place. Looks like a hole in the wall but is a hidden gem. Authentic Italian food. Saltimboca was awesome, old world decor and live music. Third time there all with friends whos family are Real Italian chefs from the old country.

I’ve only eaten here once and my experience wasn’t the best. I tried my brother and my friends food and it tasted great, however mine just tasted like something was wrong with it. It was after a long day and after a long wait for food so I didn’t bother asking about it. They had good bread, were quick about refilling our drinks, and also very kind customer service. Also bathrooms were very clean. But because of my food experience I’m going to give a 3, if I go back and give them a second shot I’ll update this.

I love this place. My boyfriend took me to this place for our anniversary and they treated us very good. they even got us a little dessert as a gift. I was very pleased and happy with this place. But for the amount that he paid I gotta say that the serve of our food was little. Other than that, it is an excellent place to celebrate special occasions.

We waited over an hour for a simple salad. When our entrees arrived they were okay but overall the dining experience took over two hours. They were busy when we arrived but the service was really lacking. Never was asked if we needed a refill of our water, iced tea, not about more bread until after our entree was served, 1 and 1/2 hrs after being seated.

Italian food hasnt been my thing lately, but this restaurant has decent food. The kids pizzas were really large for a 4 and a 5 year old. Wish i was told they could have just shared one. The pizza was otherwise good in my opinion but the kids werent big on it. The cheese ravioli was really good, but wouldnt recommend the meatballs. Too dense... I like my meatballs larger and a little fluffier where they arent smashed to death before cooking. Spaghetti was good... no complaints there. The mac n cheese was not typical but housemade. Kids were not big on that either. Service is good as several individuals served us during the visit. The atmosphere is quaint and clean...but restrooms have black toilets which i think are unattractive and look like someone forgot to flush in the dim light. I give the restaurant 4 stars for excellent service and atmosphere. There are many things on the menu i havent tried and the spaghetti and ravioli are good, so maybe just not a place to bring kids with picky appetites.

Atmosphere is similar to what youd expect in Tuscany. Its beautiful and romantic. Dinner is great - menu is expansive, food is quite good for the price point, and the service is attentive. Id rate this place high on Lincolns options for a first date with a cute girl (my wife).

We had delicious food and desert. I had cold risotto then I ask for hot one but that wasnt good either . I can tell, it was an good experience, I will try again maybe I will ask table little bit farther than next table so I dont have to hear the conversation at the next table. I liked it even for the valentines day service was good also. Stacy was working hard also.

The first time we ate at this restaurant I had the lasagna. It tasted and smelled like it had gone bad. They didnt seem to care and were not pleasant. We have returned after 5 years away and decided to have dinner there again. The service was extremely slow and the staff again was not very friendly or welcoming. The food is way overpriced for the quantity and quality. Needless to say we will never go there again.

We were celebrating a birthday and heard good things about Buonarroti Ristorante, so we booked a reservation for 6. The atmosphere was Italian authentic, the service couldnt have been better and the food was oh so wonderful. It was definitely a special experience.

The wine, brandy, and food were delicious. The live music was tasteful and well done. We loved the atmosphere and the service. We will be back!

This place food not good and price too high for what they serve we from lincoln my husband and i to give local businesses a chance. we order calamari they charged us$12just for about10pieces appetizer then seafood pasta only couple mussels and about five or six popcorn shrimps and they seafood???then the price not disclose ahead of time we thought like every other restaurant can be that much since food arent that great little we know theyre charged us twenty five dollars for each order of pasta we have horrible experience

I love Buonarrti restaurant. The food is good and I always feel welcome. But I still feel like Im dining in elegance.

A group I work for hosted a large event here and it was fabulous. We ended up here because the first restaurant we booked closed unexpectedly, but in the end it worked out for the best because Buonarroti was perfection. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and easily accommodated our large group. The food was delicious - coming from an Italian family, I am always nervous to go out for Italian but everything was delicious and authentic. (My personal favorite is gnocchi and theirs is great.) The service was above and beyond what we expected, especially considering the short notice. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and I will definitely be back when Im in the area!

Charming restaurant ...in little town of Lincoln. The food was delicious, though we were the only ones IB ...the restaurant and it took quite a while to arrive. Other than the wait, all was quite enjoyable.

My beet salad was great but my co worker order a tortellini dish that had a big piece of plastic in the dish. After bringing it up to the waitress she acted like we put it in there and that it couldnt have happened in the kitchen!
