This was a wonderful experience. They were fast, efficient, and perfect. The place is super clean with focus on details related to health and wellbeing. Loved it and will come back.

Ombré staff has given me the BEST manicures I’ve had in Lake County. They do not chip. I’m not sure what is different, but they don’t chip. They grow out and then I change color, but it has not been due to chipping. My longest pass 1 month and then the growth needed help. Love this nail salon. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Spent 30 dollars on a no chip mani- ring finger polish literally popped of less than six hours after the manicure. Pinky finger polish did the same three days after I got them done. Have already gone back in once to have it fixed. Not sure if the technicians don’t know what they’re doing or if their polish is poor quality. Won’t be back

No. Key words: passive aggressive, rude, belittling, PRESS ON NAILS. 80 DOLLARS. I don’t understand why this place is as hyped up as it is. I’m sure my service would have been different had others been there making it harder to get away what took place. Yes the place is very clean, interior design is nice. My nail tech was “well spoken”. Danny (nail tech) and myself were the only ones there yet he seemed bothered. He was extremely passive aggressive and belittling. I expressed I wanted dip French ombré with a accent nail with something that resembles confetti, something colorful for my birthday. Every little thing he acted as if he had never heard of it, couldn’t do it and that I was “confusing”. “Milky white” was too confusing. “Ombré effect using a colorful glitter or something sparkly with some color”, “natural shape” basically square rounded at the corners, nothing coffin... too confusing. The place is called OMBRÉ NAILS. Every photo I showed (nothing crazy, no drawn design) he couldn’t do and made a smart remark. Finally I just said forget it and just went with whatever he could do. The accent nail ended up being what I originally asked for after showing me the powders he had. He didn’t have clear tips so he without asking used press on gel nails. PRESS ON (apparently is even more expensive but stated he would “waive” the extra charge for my birthday). These were coffin shaped after I said no coffin shape because I don’t like the look of skinny nails on me. whatever, fine. The ombré effect that would usually be blended by hand was just white powder in a small pump dispenser bottle that he sprayed on. After being there for a hour and a half I was given the total. EIGHTY DOLLARS FOR PRESS ON NAILS, (plus a $10 tip because I’m not a jerk) that didn’t even fit my nail bed. I actually went back 2 days later because my nail beds were throbbing !!! Of course I was told “it’s just your nail bed”. I showed him a thumb nail that he managed to do properly “well you managed to do it on this nail ?” *looks at my nails and carries on with attitude*. He ground down the nail by the cuticle and now they are left unblended because you can’t “fill” using dip. Nails are lifting already on the 3rd day and look just like French tip press ons would. Now white near the cuticle where the glue is lifting.Never in my life will I come back here. If Danny and Tina really are “the best”, that says a lot. I WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO WARN PEOPLE OF THIS PLACE. Picture posted.

This place was fabulous!! Took their time to make sure my coffin nails where all shaped correctly and flawlessly! I’ve never walked out of a nail salon happier with my nails!

I took a chance on trying a new place..And I couldnt be happier! I found Ombre nails by their google reviews. I walked in and was greeted right away. Tina was my nail tech. She was amazing. Took her time with every detail. I am VERY picky. And there isnt one thing I had to ask her to change. The place was very well kept and very clean. I am so happy I took the chance. I will definitely be back!

The place was nice and clean. Price was ok and the service was good but the girl who answered the phone had a really thick accent it was so hard to understand her and make an appointment. Its really important for service business to have a great greeter in the first place.

Pros: Awesome and relaxing environment. The people are friendly. No appointment necessary, at least when I went.Cons: The price was kinda high in my opinion. The women that greeted me was kinda pushy when I was picking my color and I ended up with something I didnt want. My no chip manicure has already chipped, not even a week later.

Fast service, quick and easy sign up . Wide variety selection of services. Very clean and beautiful nail spa. Came in like how they offer special. So came in for my pedi and dip.

“I was so excited to find this beautiful salon. It has an incredible selection of Dipping powder- hundreds to choose from. They offered us complimentary wine when we arrived (Im not a drinker... but and my favorite part is that each chair gets a new clean bag for my feet. (I have a thing about pedicures and the weirdness of other people’s feet sharing the same basin. I love a good sanitary foot basin!)All of this and the price (and quality!!) of my pedicure was also great. I will definitely be returning.

This place is a hidden gem! I was highly impressed with my mani/pedi, and even got a massage while my nails soaked. This place also values cleanliness. All of their nail buffers and files are disposable, and they use pedicure liners in all their brand new chairs. They offer complimentary tea, coffee, or wine when you enter :) thank you Ombré Nails, I will definitely be back!

Visited today for a basic nail fill and pedicure.I arrived at 3:00 to an empty salon with no appointment. A walk in. And left at 645!!!!!They asked me if I could wait 15 minutes for the pedicure, sure no problem. I had no chip polish on my toes that took forever to remove. Because pedicure was taking forever, they started my fingers while I sat in the Pedi chair.I appreciated this at first, but the fill took even longer!although attention to detail is amazing, it should not take over 3 hours for a manicure and pedicure.The worst part of the entire ordeal that I repeatedly asked to be speeded up was the bill......$110 really!!!! OMG, they charge $15 for the use of no chip polish.The manager, adjusted the bill to $80, not an adjustment.I paid $80, no tip (1st time in my life I did not tip)I will never ever go back, neither should you.Run far far away from this place.

I live in Wisconsin and have traveled to many, many nail salons between Wisconsin, Evanston, and Des Plaines, and I found THE ONE at Ombre Nails! You wont find another nail salon with a more extensive dipping powder color selection, high-quality service that lasts for WEEKS without cracking or chipping, cleanliness, well-designed and peaceful environment, staff who honor your appointment time, and staff who show they appreciate your business in many ways. A nail salon like Ombre is hard to find... highly recommended!
